This study is a quantitative research hinged on the descriptive study paradigm where perspectives of selected parents of pupils at the early childhood level at the Anomabo Circuit “A” in the Mfantsiman Municipality of the Central Region of Ghana were sought on how parental involvement is shaped in their localities, the extent of their involvement in their children education, and challenges they confront in this direction. Using descriptive and inferential statistics such as means and standard deviations, findings from the study among others revealed that parents perceived the school as a place for teachers to be in charge; though the results that emanated from the study points to parent participants of this study being involved in their children’s education. On the issue of challenges that confronts parents in the involvement of their children’s education at the early childhood level, also an objective that informed the study, the results among others include; lack of financial resources, and time constraints and busy schedules. Again, as part of recommendations in the advancement of parental involvement at the early childhood level in Ghana, the study among others calls for robust education and prescription of how parents can and should be involved in their children education.

Parental involvement in children’s education plays a crucial role in a child’s life. However, meaningful parental involvement is often a difficult task for immigrant parents because of multiple challenges such as limited resources and information, language barriers, and cultural differences. This article presents findings from qualitative research interviews on the involvement of Filipino immigrant mothers in their children’s education in South Korea. The results indicate that the immigrant parents take their children’s education seriously. They want to raise their children to be happy and successful, knowing that performing well in school is the key to a successful life as an adult, especially in a nation with a fervor for education. Like other parents, they are willing to devote themselves to their children above all else. Compared with previous studies, not many barriers to involvement were revealed in this study. Only two, language barriers and financial concerns, were expressed by all participants as obstacles to involvement in their children’s education. Yet, the true, hidden barrier is how the immigrant parents view their Korean proficiency. They over-emphasize the language barrier, which causes them to avoid conversations with others.

Urgency Parents have an important role for Early Childhood Education especially with the covid outbreak so that children have to learn from home. This article aims to examine the urgency of Early Childhood Education education in the perspective of hadith, especially the hadith on the obligations of parents in educating children, which is associated with conditions in the era of the Coronavirus pandemi. Family is the first and foremost education for a person. Education in the family plays a role in developing character, personality, cultural values, religious and moral values, and simple skills. There is a physical distancing policy so that learning is carried out online (in a network) so that the role of parents is very urgent in ensuring the continuity of their children's education. is the responsibility of the parents; Second, the best gift parents give their children is a good education; Third, parents as the first and foremost madrasa, especially for early childhood, are responsible for their children's education.

Formulation of the problem in this research is how the Bible perpsektif about children's education? The purpose of this study is to outline perpsektif Bible about children's education. Types of research in this paper is the qualitative research literature. The object of this study is a biblical perspective on the education of children. In this study, researchers conducted a literature study to be able to explore and understand the biblical view of children's education. In this study, the authors sought feedback from a grasp of Hebrew and Greek. This is to avoid the use of verses in Hebrew and Greek avoid deviations. Dalam penelitian ini penulis meminta masukan dari seorang yang memahami tentang Bahasa Ibrani dan Bahasa Yunani. Hal tersebut dilakukan agar penggunaan ayat-ayat dalam Bahasa Ibrani dan Bahasa Yunani tidak terjadi penyimpangan. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh hasil yaitu (1) Pendidikan anak sebagai proses penanaman iman; (2) Pendidikan anak sebagai proses transfer pengetahuan; (3) pendidikan anak sebagai proses penanaman nilai.

Th e issue of the text focuses on the category of learning. The analysis of the term “learning” in the behaviouristic, humanistic and the interpretive aspects serves as a point of departure. The latter approach is exploited for further analyses in order to select the category “to learn with…”. This category is described in terms of the European Project THRIECE – Teaching for Holistic, Relational and Inclusive Early Childhood Education and presents its potential for children’s education in cognitive, emotional and social aspects.

This study was done to know the parents’ involvement on children’s education at elementary school in Omesuri, Lembata Regency. The aim of the study is to ascertain how does parental involvement on students elementary education. In this case study, a qualitative research was used. Data was gathered by interviewing parents of five differents elementary school in Omesuri, who all have children that have good achivement in academic. The study found that all participants are all highly involved with their children’s education. However, not all aspects the parents involved. There were three of six aspects that the parents involved, namely parenting, communication, and learning at home. While the other three aspects were not involved, namely volunteering, decision making, and collaborating with community. The study showed that parental involvement has positive effects on students’ academic achievement on Elementary Schools in Omesuri.

AbstractAs rural people keep migrating to cities in China over the past few decades, tens of millions of children have been left behind by their parents. In this study, I investigated how Chinese migrant parents involve in their left-behind children's education through the theoretical lens of concerted cultivation and the accomplishment of natural growth. I drew on qualitative data from left-behind children, migrant parents and teachers collected at a rural primary school in Sichuan Province. Most migrant parents involved in this study migrated to a less developed area in Tibet. Their voices are a valuable addition to the literature that has so far focused on those going to developed cities. It was found that shadow education is a major channel through which the parents involved in their left-behind children's education. The parents could 1) exercise concerted cultivation and variously use shadow education, 2) hope to meaningfully involve but were constrained by multiple barriers, or 3) exercise natural growth and leave their children to themselves. I interpreted these patterns with a view to China's evolving culture, ideology and social structures. I conclude by discussing sociological implications of these patterns, and theoretical contribution to the literature.

This study examines the current status, implementation, and foci of children’s education programs as a subset of general audience-targeted public education programs offered by public children’s gardens in the United States. Children were a major target audience of the examined public gardens, followed by adults, families, and youth. Public children’s gardens tended to offer more programs overall compared with public gardens without children’s gardens. In addition, there was a greater diversity of children’s education programs offered (classified into 10 topics and 11 activities) in public children’s gardens. The most frequently offered topics were plants (39.1%), animals (22.0%), and art (11.3%). Observation was the most frequently offered activity (17.1%), followed by visual art (14.4%). However, the proportions of offered programs significantly differed across individual public children’s gardens. The subjects (i.e., topics and activities) offered by children’s education programs were more often directed toward younger children. Education coordinators and horticulture directors were asked about desired improvements to children’s education programs. A large number of respondents (50) indicated a need to develop programs with greater topical variety, revealing a desire to diversify programs. In conclusion, the results of this study indicate that it is important to diversify the natural environmental experiences of education programs for children through developing children’s gardens and age-specific education at public children’s gardens in the United States.

For the most part, children who succeed in the educational system can attest to the role parental involvement has played in their success. While some families have reneged on their responsibility or have left it up to other units in society, it is an almost undeniable fact that families are the most important point of reference insofar as educating children is concerned. In this regard, Andrea M. Nelson-Royes’ book, Families as Partners: The Essential Link in Children’s Education underscores the critical role parents and families play in the life of children, and offers a range of suggestions as to how families can be helped to appreciate this role. The information contained therein seeks to empower parents and families and critically looks at the interplay between schools, children (disabled and normal) and families themselves.
