The articles justifies the need for constant care for the axiological dimension of education. The habitus of the modern teacher was analyzed in the perspective of axiological dispositions. The author’s reconstructions of the respondents’ views concerning their preferences regarding observable and repetitive teachers’ behavior were categorized. These behaviors were indicators of the values which guided teachers in their work with students. An attempt was made to determine which axiological properties of teachers, expressed in the praxiological dimension, are particularly valued by today’s youth. Analysis of the frequency of indications of the preferred teachers’ behaviors helped to establish the hierarchy of these properties. The results of the diagnosis carried out on a sample of 903 respondents showed that teachers’ pedagogical tactfulness, subject knowledge and good organization of work are mostly appreciated and expected by young people. In addition, attempts were made to identify differences in the respondents’ preferences due to their interest profile, expressed in the choice of a specific field of academic studies. It has been established that it is the factor which differentiates students’ preferences in relation to the teacher’s axiological attributes. Significant relationships have been observed and the conclusions made valuable implications for pedeutology.

The article provides a theoretical substantiation and experimentally investigates the psychological support of the development of socially active youth. The study has been carried out on the materials of comparative research of psychological qualities of socially active and socially inactive youth to present advantages and limitations of the selected types of socially active youth, and also to describe experience of psychological support of the further development of their social activity. Methodology. A model of the psychological qualities of socially active youth has been built (leadership development, value-motivational, emotional-regulatory and communicative components of psychological qualities) and the appropriate psychodiagnostic, statistical and developmental tools have been selected. Results and discussion. Based on empirical research, the level of development of the indicated psychological qualities of its participants was revealed, differences between socially active and socially inactive youth were revealed. There are 5 types of socially active youth (according to the level of development of psychological qualities): leaders, communicators, impulsive, aggressive, avoiding communication young people. There are statistically significant relationships between the psychological qualities of socially active youth and factors at the macro level (orientation of social activity of youth), meso level (type of organization in which youth is active), micro level (professional and socio-demographic characteristics of youth). The psychological conditions for the development of socially active youth have been determined. A training for the development of psychological qualities necessary for the implementation of the social activity of young people has been developed and tested.

Today, the majority of research has focused on legitimacy, while much less attention has been given to the sources of trust in the police (Nix et al., 2014). Limited attention has been also paid to the examination of legitimacy of the police services as viewed by those they serve (Bottoms & Tankebe, 2013), especially by the young people. Hence, the current study aims to add to this body of research in three ways. First, it examines the factors that influence peoples' beliefs about the police and their intentions to cooperate or exhibit confidence. Second, this study constitutes one of the first empirical analyses that highlight the importance of examining the relationship between police authority and legitimacy in Brazil. Aiming to understand the dynamics among those notions in relation to trust and obedience, the empirical part of the present study is conducted in the district of Jardim Ângela (Sao Paolo); once considered as the most violent urban region in the world. The final contribution lies in its focus on early adolescence as the particular age forms a crucial period in peoples' legal socialization (Dirikx & Van den Bulck, 2014). The statistical analysis shows significant relationships between the frequency of obedience in laws and trust in the police, and dimensions of perceived legitimacy.

Актуальность статьи состоит в необходимости стабилизации положения молодых россиян, находящихся в трудной жизненной ситуации, усугубившегося вследствие коренной трансформации социально-экономического пространства нашей страны, а также наличием на сегодняшний день во всем мире острой проблемы организации социальной работы с молодежью, оказавшейся в трудной жизненной ситуации. Цель статьи заключается в рассмотрении возможности применения технологии коуч-наставничества при организации работы с молодежью, оказавшейся в трудной жизненной ситуации. Автором рассмотрены теоретические аспекты основы коуч-наставничества; проведён анализ практического использования коучинг-технологий при работе с молодежью, оказавшейся в трудной жизненной ситуации; разработана и описана программа коуч-наставничества для организации работы с молодежью, оказавшейся в трудной жизненной ситуации. Исследовано влияние технологий коуч-наставничества для организации работы с молодежью, оказавшейся в трудной жизненной ситуации. Доказано, что разработка и внедрение программы коуч-наставничества способствует выходу молодых людей из трудной жизненной ситуации.Статья предназначена для специалистов, работающих с данной категорией молодежи, результаты могут быть применены в социальной и педагогической деятельности, а также в сфере профессионального образования. The relevance of the article is necessity to stabilize the situation of youth in Russia, who are in a difficult life situation, aggravated by the radical transformation of the socio-economic space of our country, as well as the acute problem of organizing social work with youth in difficult life situation all over the world. The purpose of the article is to consider the possibility of using the technology of coach-mentoring in the organization of work with youth who find themselves in a difficult life situation. The author considers the theoretical aspects of the basis of coach-mentoring; an analysis of the practical use of coaching technologies when working with young people who find themselves in a difficult life situation; developed and described a coaching mentoring program for organizing work with youth in difficult life situations. The influence of coach-mentoring technologies for the organization of work with youth in difficult life situations has been investigated. It has been proven that the development and implementation of coach programs helps youth to get out of a difficult life situation. The article is intended for specialists working with youth in difficult life situation, the results can be applied in social and pedagogical activities, as well as in the field of professional education.

Citizenship educators have not yet developed a satisfactory framework for describing the conceptual knowledge at the heart of their subject and the complex ways in which students develop understanding. By focusing on how young people (10–18 years of age) use the core citizenship concepts of power and agency, this research provides an insight into how students learn. Our analysis of young people’s work reveals that many of them are operating with a pre-political or politically naïve understanding of the world which limits their ability to understand power and agency. Some students have gone on to develop a greater sense of their own agency within complex chains of influence, which demonstrates a more nuanced understanding of power and agency, rooted in a more political reading of world. We conclude that our findings may help citizenship teachers to plan more consciously to tackle this area of conceptual understanding.

Resumen: Este artículo reflexiona sobre el trabajo de los jóvenes en el campo específico de la venta de ropa en un contexto en el que prevalece la informalidad y la precariedad laboral. Mediante el análisis de representaciones sociales y un muestreo por conveniencia en el que 104 jóvenes trabajadores contestaron un cuestionario, una carta asociativa y 10 entrevistas, se obtuvieron resultados que indican la existencia de una idea generalizada del trabajo como actividad positiva que los dignifica, aun cuando se le reconoce con condiciones precarias. Los sujetos conciben el trabajo como un medio importante para el apoyo económico a la familia, así como para el desarrollo de competencias que les pueden ayudar a conservar su trabajo y diseñar un futuro en las condiciones en las que viven.Palabras clave: Precariedad laboral. YOUNG WORKERS OF MOROLEÓN AND URIANGATO, GUANAJUATO.Abstract: This article reflects on the work of young people in the specific field of garment commerce, in a context in which informal and precarious employment prevails. Through social representations analysis using a sampling in which 104 young workers answered a questionnaire, an associative letter and 10 interviews. The results obtained indicate the existence of a generalized idea of work as a positive activity that dignifies them, even when work is perceived as precarious. They depict work as an important means of economic support for the family as well as to develop skills that can help keeping your job and as a way to make a better future.Keywords: Precarious employment. Purpose The purpose of this study was to investigate the perceptions of speech-language pathologists (SLPs) regarding their academic preparation and current confidence levels for providing dysphagia services, and the relationship between their perceptions of graduate school preparation and their current levels of confidence. Method This study utilized an online survey to gather information from 374 American Speech-Language-Hearing Association–certified SLPs who currently provide dysphagia services in the United States. Surveys were primarily distributed through American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Special Interest Group forums and Facebook groups. The anonymous survey gathered information regarding SLPs' perceptions of academic preparation and current confidence levels for providing dysphagia services in 11 knowledge and skill areas. Results Findings indicated that more than half of respondents did not feel prepared following their graduate academic training in five of the 11 knowledge and skill areas related to dysphagia service delivery. However, about half of respondents indicated they were currently confident about their ability to provide services in eight of the 11 knowledge and skill areas. Findings also indicated that their current confidence levels to provide dysphagia services were significantly higher than their perceptions of preparation immediately following graduate school. However, no significant relationships were found between respondents' self-reported current confidence levels and their perceptions of the adequacy of their academic preparation. Conclusions Despite SLPs' low perceptions of the adequacy of their graduate preparation for providing dysphagia services in specific knowledge and skill areas immediately following graduation, they reported high confidence levels with respect to their actual service delivery. Implications of these findings are discussed.
