Abstract The results, not at all encouraging the graduates and the growing gap between the requirements of the employers and the graduate knowledge base bring us some questions and the look for the most appropriate answers. Of them, the work stops at two, namely: higher technical education prepares engineers, research scientists, or both, respectively, the teaching methods in engineering education today are appropriate? In search of answers and solving problems arising from questions shall be made an analysis of the educational process and master’s degree. The analysis is based both on documents and facts generally known, but also the authors’ own teaching experience. Conclusions are warning signals for improving the training of engineers and master of technical education but also to reform education in proper selection and training support staff for research.

This article is devoted to the actual problem of multilingual education today in the context of the introduction of updated educational content. The main tasks of updating the content of physics in schools reflect the need to improve the professional and methodological training of future physics teachers in English in the context of modernizing educational programs in higher education. The content of physics in pedagogical universities should correspond to the school physics course, physics should be integrated with methodological disciplines and be taught in English. This, in turn, will improve the quality of professional and methodological training of future physics teachers. The use of subject-language integrated teaching methods in the educational process for the implementation of multilingual education is given. Two methods: Content Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) and English аs a Medium of Instruction (EMI) are considered as a learning tool.

The paper is devoted to the issues related to the development and use of automated assessment systems for programming tasks. The work on automated testing of programming tasks had been held in Novosibirsk State University since 1998. It was created several generations of systems of this type. The first program of about 1,000 lines was written in Perl. Currently, the automated system, named NSUts, is used in the programming contests and in the educational process. As a result of work in it, as well as acquaintance with other similar systems, both Russian and foreign, it was possible to formulate requirements for software development of this kind, to analyze the difference between the systems for testing competitions and training support systems. The article also provides an overview of the existing systems for checking tasks on programming, an analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of each of these systems, and a detailed comparison of the NSUts system with the Yandex Contest system. The current state of the NSUts system architecture is described. Much attention is paid to the practice of using the system in the educational process, statistics and graphs of students' progress of students studying with the help of this system are given. The article describes the analysis of the experience of using the NSUts system and outlines the prospects for its development.

An individual task can be an educational tool in pedagogy. It is aimed at interacting with students with disabilities. Individual tasks provide educational requirements, such as adaptation, personification and variability of the educational process. The use of teaching methods and techniques becomes relevant in the educational process. This forms the ability of students to independently acquire knowledge, collect the necessary information, put forward hypotheses, present evidence and draw conclusions and conclusions. The effectiveness of interaction with students with disabilities significantly increases when tasks are put into practice on a multi-level basis. Individual tasks are aimed at creating universal educational actions for the student. This forms the student’s ability to organize independent educational activities. Mandatory conditions in the pedagogical process will be the design of the necessary compensatory mechanisms and training tools, as well as the accumulation of the bank of individual tasks and grouping them on different grounds of individualization of students with disabilities. The article considers options for creating individual tasks, as well as technologies for designing individual tasks for students with disabilities. The technology of developing an individual task for students with disabilities consists in selecting a typical task and then converting it into a multi-level one. This process can be performed by extending the content. The introduction of multi-level individual task technology requires each student to achieve a basic level of knowledge, and at the same time, to realize themselves at a higher, advanced level.

The purpose of this research is to systematize and present the acquired in the process of personal teaching effective teaching methods and techniques, as well as meaningful conclusions in the context of the course “Computer Technology in Design” for its optimization. Research methodology. The research is based, first of all, on the author’s remarks and observations on the peculiarities of mastering by students of the speciality “Graphic Design and Advertising” of the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts the functionality of graphic editors. That is, among the scientific methods in the preparation of the article were used methods of observation, experiment, comparison, classification, systematization, scientific analysis. Scientific novelty. The study has found that the current model of teaching computer science to designers focused on the study of graphic editors needs to be improved and updated in the context of current trends in computer design. Therefore, taking into account the existing shortcomings, it was proposed to optimize the training approach in four main positions: study of digital art terminology; working out of technical receptions; combination of basic artistic principles with program functionality; education of analytical qualities in students (graphic image analysis). Thus, all volume of the tasks directed on working off of technical receptions in combination with basic art bases is classified into three categories according to their maintenance: algorithmic tasks (the result is predicted); creative tasks (the result is variable, unpredictable); combined tasks (the result is variable). The practical block of tasks for studying graphic editors Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for 1–2 years students, successfully tested during the educational process during 2018–2021, is reflected in the table, and the relevant analytical conclusions are presented in the form of infographics. Conclusions. As it was proved in the course of the research, it is the accumulated teaching experience in the context of theoretical substantiation that can experimentally help to determine a quality educational model. As a result, it was possible to systematize the effective teaching methods and techniques acquired during personal teaching, to present a successfully tested set of tasks, as well as to formulate theses on optimizing the educational model in the context of the “Computer Technology in Design” course.

The aim of this research is to present a proposed concept based on the viewpoint of education experts for the development of secondary education in Iraq. The researcher sought to get acquainted with its reality and identify the problems which faces. The descriptive analytical methodology had been used, where the research tool as a questionnaire consisted of (30) items distributed in five areas: school buildings and equipment, curriculum and teaching methods, teaching staff preparation and training, evaluation and exams, and students. The research questionnaire sample consisted of a group of experts who were chosen intentionally, amounting to (50) experts. Those who were of scientific positions, experts in secondary education and those who practiced education and supervision in the secondary schools and university levels, for a period of nearly (40) years. Moreover, their experiences were in various universities and governorates. The results of the research revealed that the mathematical averages at the device field reached (4.32), at the level of buildings and educational equipment reached (4.35), the field of curriculum and teaching methods as well as the field of teachers (4.41), meanwhile the field of evaluation and exams reached (4.35) and the field of students got (4.12). Based on these obtained results, this perception concept has been proposed for the development of secondary education in Iraq. The researcher suggested conducting other studies to benefit from the experiences of countries that fought similar recent wars, to show how to overcome their crises. Finally, the researcher recommended applying the proposed methodology on the teacher’s side, first of all being the cornerstone of the educational process.
