Kemampuan komunikasi matematis merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang diukur pada studi PISA. Namun berdasarkan hasil studi PISA, kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa Indonesia masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah terdapat peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran Think-Pair-Share (TPS) dengan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri Pagedangan, Tangerang. Dalam mengumpulkan data, peneliti menggunakan instrumen tes berupa soal uraian kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi eksperimen berbentuk Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik statistik inferensial dengan melakukan uji-t. Berdasarkan analisis data menggunakan SPSS 16.0 dan Microsoft Excel 2013 penelitian menemukan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran Think-Pair-Share (TPS) lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional.Mathematics communication ability is one of the skills that was measure in PISA. Based on the results of the PISA, mathematics communication ability Indonesian students is still low. The pupose this research is to see if there is an increase in mathematics communication ability students acquire learning using learning model Think-Pair-Share (TPS) with students who obtain the conventional learning. The sample in this research is grade MTs Negeri Pagedangan, Tangerang. In collecting the data, researchers use test instruments in the form of a question of mathematical communication ability essay test. This research using quantitative methods with quasi experimental design shaped Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Data analysis technique used is statistical techniques inferensial by doing the test-t. Based on data analysis using Microsoft Excel and SPSS 16.0 2013 this research found that increasing mathematical communication ability students acquire learning using learning model Think-Pair-Share (TPS) better than the students who obtain the conventional learning.

This research is motivated by the importance of mathematical communication ability. Mathematical communication ability of students is still low. In order that this problem can be solved, a learning model that can enhance mathematical communication ability of students is required. In this research, CORE model learning with scientific approach was selected. This study aims to analyze the enhancement of mathematical communication ability. This research was a quasi-experimental with nonequivalent control group design. The population was students in eighth grade in one of the junior high schools in Jambi.  The sample consisted of two classes which were selected by purposive sampling. The instrument of this research is a test of mathematical communication ability. The data were analyzed by using Independent t-test. Based on the data analyzed, it is found that: The enhancement of mathematical communication ability of students who received the CORE learning model with scientific approach is better than the enhancement of students who received conventional learning.

Abstract. The education curriculum addressed the science learning which involves learner in the scientific process in order to find a product by promoting the scientific attitude. This idea has encouraged the researcher team to design an instructional which combines the project based learning model and the experiment method to train the 5M skills for students. The research subjects are the 6th semester students of physics education study program of the teacher training and educational sciences faculty of Lambung Mangkurat University (FKIP ULM) in the academic year of 2016/2017. The research used posttest only control group design. Learning effectiveness was gained from students’ project evaluation and posttest. The research result showed that students’ project was in good category with the mean score of 4.09. The students’ achievement has reached the individual mastery as big as 100%. It can be concluded that the combination of project based learning model and experiment method is effective to train the students’ 5M skills for the physics experiment course. Keywords: Project based learning, experiment method, 5M skills. Abstrak. Kurikulum pendidikan menghendaki pembelajaran sains yang melibatkan peserta didik dalam proses ilmiah untuk menemukan sebuah produk dengan mengedepankan sikap ilmiah. Hal ini mendorong tim peneliti untuk merancang pembelajaran yang mengkombinasikan project based learning dan metode eksperimen yang diharapkan mampu melatihkan  kemampuan 5M bagi mahasiswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester 6 Pendidikan Fisika FKIP ULM pada tahun akademik 2016/2017. Desain penelitian menggunakan postest only control group design. Data efektivitas pembelajaran didapatkan dari evaluasi proyek mahasiswa dan postest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  proyek mahasiswa berkategori baik dengan skor rata-rata perolehan sebesar 4,09. Selanjutnya hasil belajar mahasiswa berhasil mencapai ketuntasan individu sebesar 100%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran yang mengkombinasikan project based learning dan metode eksperimen efektif untuk melatihkan kemampuan 5M mahasiswa pada perkuliahan Eksperimen Fisika. Kata Kunci: Project based learning, metode eksperimen, kemampuan 5M.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh pembelajaran generatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi  matematis siswa berdasarkan kemampuan awal. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMAN 6 Pandeglang,  kelas XI yang berjumlah 9 kelas. Dengan teknik purposive sampling diperoleh kelas XI IPA 4 sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas XI IPA 5 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalahThe nonequivalentpretest-postest control group design. Selama penelitian berlangsung kelompok eksperimen diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran generatif sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran ekspositori. Analisis data dilakukan terhadap rataan gain ternormalisasi antara dua kelompok sampel. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) Peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa  yang  diberi  perlakuan model pembelajaran generatif  lebih tinggi  daripada siswa  yang mendapat model pembelajaran ekspositori; (2) Terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan kemampuan awal matematis (KAM) terhadap peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa; (3) Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis pada siswa dengan KAM tinggi; (4) Tidak terdapat peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis pada siswa dengan KAM sedang dan rendah. Kata kunci: kemampuan komunikasi matematis, pembelajaran generatif, kemampuan awal matematika   Abstract This study aims to look at the effect of generative learning to improve students' mathematical communication skills based on early mathematic abilities. This type of research is quasi-experimental research. The population in this study were students of SMAN 6 Pandeglang, class XI which numbered 9 classes. The purposive sampling technique was obtained in class XI IPA 4 as the control class and class XI IPA 5 as the experimental class. The research design used was The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. During the research, the experimental group was treated with generative learning models while the control class used the expository learning model. Data analysis was performed on normalized gain average between two sample groups. The results of this study are (1) Increased mathematical communication skills of students who are treated with a generative learning model higher than students who get an expository learning model; (2) There is an interaction between the learning model and early mathematic abilities (EMA) on improving students' mathematical communication skills; (3) There is an increase in mathematical communication skills in students with high EMA; (4) There is no increase in mathematical communication skills in students with moderate and low EMA. Mathematical communication skills of students are still relatively low. One learning model can improve students 'mathematical communication skills and at the same time students' mathematical disposition is the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The aim to be achieved is to find out the improvement of students 'mathematical communication skills and mathematical disposition using PBL models in terms of students' initial mathematical level. This research is an experimental research design with pretest posttest control group design. The research population was Grade VII students of SMP 9 Langsa. Students are grouped into two classes namely the experimental class and the control class randomly selected from eight parallel classes. The instrument used was a test of mathematical communication skills and a mathematical disposition questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using two-way ANOVA. The results showed that improving students 'mathematical communication ability and students' mathematical disposition by applying PBL learning models is better than students applying conventional learning models. There is no interaction between the PBL learning model with student level on mathematical communication skills and students' mathematical disposition. Abstrak Kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa masih tergolong rendah. Salah satu model pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dan sekaligus disposisi matematis siswa adalah model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Tujuan yang ingin dicapai ialah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dan disposisi matematis menggunakan model PBL ditinjau dari kemampuan awal matematis siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain pretest postest control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Langsa. Siswa dikelompokkan menjadi dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang dipilih secara acak dari delapan kelas paralel. Instrumen yang digunakan tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan angket disposisi matematis. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan anova dua arah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dan disposisi matematis siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran PBL lebih baik dari pada siswa yang menerapkan model pembelajaran konvensional. Tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran PBL dengan level siswa terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan disposisi matematis siswa. BLENDED LEARNING: KEEFEKTIFAN E-LEARNING BERBASIS SCHOOLOGY TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATISAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas e-learning berbasis schoology terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa SMP pada materi Sistem Persaman Linier Dua Variabel (SPLDV). Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII salah satu SMP di Kota Cirebon. Sampel terdiri atas kelas VIII-B2 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan schoology dan VIII-C2 sebagai kelas kontrol tanpa menggunakan schoology. Adapun proses pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan angket respons. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji-t, dan uji gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan schoology lebih baik daripada tanpa menggunakan schoology. Hasil rata-rata N-gain yang diperoleh sebesar 0,68 dan berada pada kategori peningkatan sedang. Siswa memiliki respons positif terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan schoology. Melalui aplikasi schoology, siswa belajar secara berkelanjutan tanpa terbatas oleh ruang kelas dan efektif digunakan sebagai media dalam pembelajaran.AbstractThis study was aimed at determining the effectiveness of schoology based e-learning on the mathematical communication ability of junior high school students on the Linier Equation System of Two Variables (LESTV). The population in this study were all students of class VIII junior high school in Cirebon. The sample consisted of two classes, VIII-B2 as an experimental class applying schoology and VIII-C2 as a control class without using schoology. The sampling process used purposive sampling technique. This type of research used was a quasi-experimental design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The data collection techniques were carried out by tests of mathematical communication skills and response questionnaires. The data were analyzed using normality test, homogeneity test, t-test, and gain test. The results show that the students of experimental class that use schoology have higher ability than the students of the control class. The average N-gain obtained is 0.68 and as moderate category. The students have a positive response to learning using schoology. Through the schoology application, students allow to learn continuously without being limited by the classroom and effectively used as a medium in learning.

Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas X-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen, mendapat pembelajaran dengan model inkuiri berbasis refleksi kelompok dan kelas X-2 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan model pembelajaran ekspositori. Penelitian ini menggunakan posttest only control group design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi kemampuan awal siswa, lembar observasi, tes tertulis dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, rata-rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen adalah 78,88 dan kelas kontrol 71,68. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis refleksi kelompok efektif terhadap hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa. This research is quasi experimental research. The samples in this research are X-1 students as an experiment class, got inquiry learning model based on team reflection and class X-2 as a control class with expository learning model. This research was used posttest only control group design. Data collection techniques were documentation for initial academic ability, observation sheet, paper test and questionnaire. Based on the result of research, the average of experimental class posttest value is 78.88 and control class 71.68. The results have shown that the implementation of inquiry learning model based on team effective to improves student learning achievement and activities. This study aims to analyze the impact of the Treffinger learning model on students' mathematical communication skills. This research was conducted at Senior High School 1 Bulagi grade 10th, 2018/2019 academic year. This type of research was a Quasi-Experimental study with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Data collection on mathematical communication skills used test instruments. The results revealed that the mathematical communication skills of students taught using the Treffinger learning model were higher than those taught using the Student Team Achievement Division / STAD cooperative learning model (FCount = 5.78> Ftable = 4.03). It can be seen from the results of the research that application of the Treffinger learning model has a higher effect on students' communication skills compared to the Student Learning Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model. It is proven from the average mathematical communication skills of students taught with the Treffinger learning model on the written text indicator, drawing and mathematical expression expressed at 50.67 while the students taught with the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model on the written indicator text, drawing and mathematical expressions were stated at 47.50.

Students' mathematical communication is stated to be low because students learn by listening and seeing the teacher solve mathematical problems and students have difficulty in expressing everyday events in mathematical models. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) type of cooperative learning model on students' mathematical communication skills better than using scientific learning. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of research Quasi-Experimental Design and the design of this research The Nonequivalent Postets-Only Control Group Design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Nisam, while the samples were class VIIIB as the experimental class and class VIII-A as the control class with the sampling technique of purposive sampling. The data collection technique in this study used a mathematical communication ability test. The data analysis was carried out for the mathematical communication ability test using the t-test because the data were normally distributed and homogeneous, the data were processed using SPSS 18 software and the hypothesis test results were obtained with a significant value of 0.000 less than 0.05, which means reject H0 and accept Ha. The results showed that there was an effect of the Inside-Outside Circle (IOC) type of cooperative learning model on students' mathematical communication skills.

The purpose of this study was to see how the effect of the word square learning model on student physics learning outcomes. The population in this study were all Grade VII students of SMPIT AN-NIDA 'Lubuklinggau, which numbered 52 people. Therefore, researchers trying to use this type of research are experiments using Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Data collection techniques used were essay-shaped test techniques as many as 5 questions. The final test score data were analyzed using the z-test. Based on the results of data analysis zcount = 2.44 and ztabel = 1.68 because zcount> ztable, then the conclusions obtained are the effect of Word Square learning model on student learning outcomes. The research aims to analyse the students pre-ability, post-ability, and improvement of mathematical communication ability towards Giving Question and Getting Answer technique. The research is conducted in SMP Negeri 1 Cinangka academic year 2017/2018. The research method is quasi-experiment with pretest and posttest control group design. The research sample is 33 students for experimental class and 36 students for control class. The improvement is calculated by using N-Gain. The data analysis uses T-Test. The research result show that the student pre-ability of mathematical communication for experimental and control class is equal. The students post-ability of mathematical communication for experimental class is higher than the students who is applied by conventional technique. Therefor, the implementation of Giving Question and Getting Answer technique can improve the students mathematical communication ability for grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Cinangka.
