Abstract: Culture is one of the identities of a community in each region, one of which is selametan. Selametan is a culture that is closely related to the Javanese community. The purpose of this research is to describe the form and meaning in naming selametan Javanese society. The research data were obtained using competent observational techniques. The method of data analysis uses descriptive qualitative. Methods of data analysis through data transcripts and data classification. Data analysis uses morphological and semantic theories. The form of data analysis is descriptive. The results showed the naming of selametan in Javanese society consisting of 19 selametan consisting of pre-birth to death. Then the naming of the form is analyzed using morphological theory and its meaning is analyzed using semantic theory. The results showed that in terms of naming selametan, many Javanese people were formed from numbers during pre-birth and death, while in life they were formed from activities to be carried out. Whereas in meaning, the naming has lexical and referential meaning.Abstrak: Budaya menjadi salah satu identitas sebuah masyarakat pada setiap daerah, salah satunya selametan. Selametan merupakan salah satu budaya yang lekat dengan masyarakat jawa. Tujuan penelitian ada adalah mendeskripsikan bentuk dan makna pada penamaan selametan masyarakat jawa. Data penelitian diperoleh menggunakan tekhnik simak libat cakap. Metode analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Metode analisis data melalui transkipsi data dan klasifikasi data. Analisis data menggunakan teori morfologi dan semantik. Bentuk analisis data berupa deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penamaan selametan pada masyarakat jawa yang terdiri dari 19 selametan yang terdiri dari masa prakelahiran sampai kematian. Kemudian penamaan selametan tersebut dianalisis bentuknya menggunakan teori morfologi dan dianalisis maknanya menggunakan teori semantik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara bentuk, penamaan selametan masyarakat jawa banyak dibentuk dari bilangan pada masa prakelahiran dan kematian, sedangkan pada masa kehidupan dibentuk dari kegiatan yang akan dilakukan. Sedangkan secara makna, penamaan tersebut memiliki makna leksikal dan referensial.

This study aimed to describe the value of cohesion and coherence contained in the translation of the Qur'an surah Al Zalzalah. This study was a qualitative descriptive research, research data collection techniques using three techniques namely, inventory, rading and understanding, and record keeping. The data analysis used the coding of data, classification data, and the determination of the data. The results showed that the cohesion markers used in the translation of surah Al Zalzalah discourse are: 1) reference, 2) pronouns, ie pronouns second person, and third, the relative pronoun, the pronoun pointer, pen pronouns and pronouns owner, 3 ) conjunctions, namely temporal conjunctions, coordinating conjunctions, subordinating conjunctions, and conjunctions koorelatif, and 4) a causal ellipsis. It mean that there was a coherence in the translation of surah Al Zalzalah discourse are: the addition or addition, pronouns, repetition or repetition, match words or synonyms, in whole or in part, a comparison or ratio of conclusions or results. Keywords: Cohesion, Coherence, sura Al Zalzalah AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai kohesi dan koherensi yang terdapat dalam terjemahan Al-Qur’an surah Al Zalzalah. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan tiga teknik yakni, inventarisasi, baca simak, dan pencatatan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pengodean data, pengklasifikasian data, dan penentuan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemarkah kohesi yang digunakan dalam wacana terjemahan surah Al Zalzalah adalah: 1) referensi, 2) pronomina, yaitu kata ganti orang kedua, dan ketiga, kata ganti penghubung, kata ganti penunjuk, kata ganti penanya dan kata ganti empunya, 3) konjungsi, yaitu konjungsi temporal, konjungsi koordinatif, konjungsi subordinatif, dan konjungsi koorelatif, dan 4) elipsis kausal. Sarana koherensi yang terdapat di dalam wacana terjemahan surah Al Zalzalah adalah: penambahan atau adisi, pronomina, pengulangan atau repetisi, padan kata atau sinonim, keseluruhan atau bagian, komparasi atau perbandingan simpulan atau hasil.Kata Kunci: Kohesi, Koherensi, surah Al Zalzalah

ABSTRAK Lawakan komika Abdur pada acara Stand Up Comedy tersebut mengandung implikatur. Kajian pragmatik mengenai implikatur dalam lawakan komika Abdur pada acara Stand Up Comedy di dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori Grice dengan adanya 2 jenis implikatur, yakni: (1) implikatur konvensional dan (2) implikatur nonkonvensional atau implikatur percakapan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah tuturan komika Abdur pada acara Stand Up Comedy yang diperoleh melalui Youtube. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan implikatur yang terdapat dalam lawakan komika Abdur pada acara Stand Up Comedy dan jenis implikatur yang terdapat dalam lawakan tersebut. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik simak dan catat, sedangkan analisis data melalui langkah identifikasi data, reduksi data, klasifikasi data, dan interpretasi data. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut. (1) terdapat implikatur dalam lawakan Abdur pada acara Stand Up Comedy dan (2) ada 11 implikatur konvensional dalam lawakan Abdur pada acara Stand Up Comedy dan tidak ada implikatur nonkonvensional dalam lawakan tersebut.Kata Kunci: Implikatur, lawakan, stand up comedy  ABSTRACT The Abdur’s jokes on the Stand Up Comedy show contains implicature. This pragmatic study about the implicature of a comic Abdur’s jokes on Stand Up Comedy Show uses Grice’s theory in the presence of 2 types of implicature, namely: (1) conventional implicature and (2) non-conventional impicature or conversational implicature. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The source of the research data is the Abdur’s speech on the Stand Up Comedy show obtained through YouTube. The purpose of this study is to describe the implicature of a comic Abdur’s jokes on Stand Up Comedy show. The data are collected by listening and note taking techniques. The data analysis steps include data identification, data reduction, data classification, and interpretation. The results of this study are as follows. (1) there are implicature of a comic Abdur’s Jokes on Stand Up Comedy Show and (2) there are 11 conventional implicature of a comic Abdur’s Jokes on Stand Up Comedy show and there is not non-conventional implicature.Keywords: Implicature, jokes, stand up comedy

Language is a human interaction tool to facilitate humans to communicate with one another, language also has benefits that are very important for life as an introduction in the world of education. But what happens, the fact is that at the moment in carrying out group guidance conducted by some people, they have not been able to use good and correct grammar, but have already behaved politely when communicating with other interlocutors and some people still assume that when communicating only requires language simple or improvised. This study aims to teach that people need to apply true and wise communication, especially in the use of good and correct language systems when conducting group guidance. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods that refer to data collection, data analysis, interpretation of the data concerned with the situation. The results of this study indicate that in conducting group counseling they have not been able to apply good and correct language but have applied good manners. This research has various benefits, namely making people able to understand and realize that the importance of communication when guidance uses good and correct language so that it is easy to understand and easily accepted.

This research aims to analyze the strategy of leaders in improving the quality of education in Zulhijjah Muara Bulian boarding school. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, and verification. The results showed kiai has four roles, in improving the quality of education, namely educators, administrators, managers, and supervisors. Improving the quality of education is done by pursuing the welfare of teachers and contributing thought to the progress of the region and able to become cadres of scholars who will lead the ummah in the future by maintaining educational inputs, processes, and outputs.

The research aims to describe the functions of humor used in an American comedy movie The Boss. The subject of the research was American comedy movie The Boss. Descriptive qualitative method was used to conduct the research. Data collection was done through library research and documentation. Data analysis was done through identification, coding, classification and description. The researcher found several findings. Supported by Meyers theory of joke, there are 6 functions of jokes found in the movie such as to insult someone, to express anger, to tease someone, to relieve tension, to get attention, and to amuse others. The dominant function was differentiation particularly to insult and to express anger 21 times, the second was clarification particularly to relieve tension humorous lines and amuse others 15 times, the third was enforcement particularly to tease 18 times, and the last was identification particularly to relieve tension and to get attention 27 times. These functions were also analyzed and discriminated by different setting and participant based on formality and participants distance. According to the analysis, most jokes occurred in informal situation with intimate relationship among the participants and functioned to tease someone and to relieve tension. This finding also proves that American humor is expressed with more slapstick and vulgarity as the characteristic of American humor used in daily communication. In teaching, almost all schools use textbooks. In teaching, the schools give the textbooks to students as the medium of teaching. The textbooks do not only include lessons and practices, but they also include texts and even various text types. The text types are given to the students as medium of practicing the lessons that the students focusing. Halliday                    (1989:12) states context consists of three aspects, namely field, tenor and mode. The objective of this study is to reason for the various text types are realized in the textbooks of the first Grade of State Islamic School. Donal ( 2010: 29) states that qualitative research is a study that aims to understand a phenomenon that focuses on the total picture. Research design in this study was done by descriptive qualitative research. Data analysis in this research is there are 19 text types used in the textbooks of the first Grade of State Islamic School. The technique for collecting data is observation which observesthe reason for the use of the text types in the textbooks and then analyzed the reason for the use of the text types in the textbooks by using Miles, Huberman and Saldana model ( 2014: 31) with three steps of data analysis such as abbreviating data, presenting data and picturing and proving conclusion. The findings show that the reason for the use of the text types in the textbooks of the first Grade of State Islamic School is based on the three aspects of context, namely field, tenor and mode. Keywords: Texts, Text Types, Systemic Linguistic,Textbooks

حاولت هذه الدراسة الكشف عن فلسفة وحدة الوجود في التصوف الإسلامي والفلسفي، وتتكون قضية هذه الدراسة من الأسئلة الآتية: ما هي أصول فلسفة وحدة الوجود في الدين الإسلامي؟ كيف موقف العلماء من فلسفة وحدة الوجود؟ وأمّا نوع البحث المستخدم في هذه الدراسة فهو البحث الوصفي النوعي وطريقة جمع البيانات هي الطريقة المكتبية، وتحليلها عن طريق تحليل علم الكلام. ونتيجة البحث تجيب عن الأسئلة المذكورة وهي: أن أصحاب فلسفة وحدة الوجود اعتمدت إلى مصدر قرآني ونبوي، والنبوي يشتمل على الأحاديث القدسية والأحاديث الشريفة، في دعم عقيدتهم الوجودية. وأما موقف العلماء في تقدير فلسفة وحدة الوجود فهم منقسمون إلى فريقين متعارضين: فريق يرى أنها تتمشى مع روح العقيدة الصحيحة وفريق يرى أنها خارجة عن عقيدة الإسلام الصحيحة. والمستفاد من هذه الدراسة وهو أن فلسفة وحدة الوجود من المذاهب الصوفية اعتنقها كثير من أتباع الصوفية الذين يعيشون في المجتمع قديما وحديثا، وهم لا يخرجون عن عقيدة الإسلام الصحيحة.This research reveals the philosophy of pantheism (wahdatul wujud) in Islamic tasawwuf and philosophical tasawwuf with the aim of exploring the basic philosophy of pantheism in Islam and how the ulama's attitude towards the philosophy of pantheism. This research used descriptive qualitative, library research data methods (library research) and data analysis using kalam science analysis. The results showed that: Adherents of the philosophy of pantheism were guided by the Qur'an and the Hadith of the Prophet, both the qudsi and nabaw’s hadits of the prophet in supporting their faith. the attitude of the scholar in assessing pantheism, they are divided into two groups with different opinions. Groups who argue that the philosophy of pantheism is in accordance with the correct Islamic creed, and groups who argue that this philosophy deviates from Islamic creeds. The implication of this research shows that the philosophy of pantheism is one of the Sufism schools adopted by many Sufis who are present in society, both traditional and modern societies. They actually do not deviate from the true Islamic creed.Penelitian ini mengungkap filsafat panteisme (wahdatul wujud) di dalam tasawwuf Islam dan tasawwuf filosofis, dengan tujuan menggali dasar filsafat panteisme di dalam Islam dan bagaimana sikap ulama terhadap filsafat panteisme. Jenis penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif, metode pengumpulan data bersifat penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dan analisis data mempergunakan analisis ilmu kalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Penganut filsafat panteisme berpedoman pada al-Qur'an dan Hadis Nabi saw., baik hadis qudsi maupun hadis nabawi dalam menyokong akidah mereka. Adapun sikap ulama di dalam menilai filsafat panteisme, mereka terbagi dua golongan yang berbeda pendapat. Ada golongan yang berpendapat bahwa filsafat panteisme sesuai dengan akidah Islam yang benar, dan ada golongan yang berpendapat bahwa filsafat tersebut melenceng dari akidah Islam. Implikasi penelitian menunjukkan bahwa filsafat panteisme merupakan salah satu aliran tasawwuf yang dianut oleh banyak kaum sufi yang hadir di masyarakat, baik masyarakat tradisional maupun masyarakat moderen. Mereka sebenarnya tidak melenceng dari akidah Islam yang benar.

<p>Several errors in spelling and grammar were found in the students' writing on Indonesian language courses. The errors affect the quality of students' academic works. Based on the findings, this study was aimed at (1) describing the forms of misapplication of Indonesian rules and writing in the students’ writing, and (2) defining the aspects behind the application of Indonesian rules and writing in the students’ writing. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This research was carried out in data collection, data classification, data analysis, and informal data analysis presentation. There are two results in this study. First, language errors were found at three levels, namely errors in aspects of letter writing, elements of paper and use of words, and writing sentences. Second, there are some factors behind this error, both internally and externally.</p>

The purpose of this research is to describe the illocutionary acts on one of Gita Savitri Devi’s Youtube Channel video entitled Kenapa kita membenci? Beropini eps. 46. The method use in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The data in this research are illocutionary acts spoken by Gita Savitri Devi in one of her Youtube Channel videos. The data source in this research is the narration delivered by Gita Savitri Devi in that video. The data collection techniques using hearken technique. Data analysis techniques in this research were carried out through the steps : (1) Data transcription, (2) Data classification, and (3) Data inference. The results obtained by the type of assertive illocutionary acts, directive illocutionary acts, and expresive illocutionary acts. While the types of commissive illocutionary acts and declaration illocutionary acts were not found in this research.
