In today’s competitive environment, students have to manage a great variety of tasks, and sometimes, due to poor time management, they fall behind in completing the tasks well and on time. Thus, this research presents the research and development of an automated task management system using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) measurement for task monitoring and provides alerts for university students, which can continuously monitor the student’s task performance. To achieve the objective of this research, the following methodology was adopted. First, the research identifies suitable measures of poor time management, best time management practices for university students, and suitable solution for developing the proposed system. A preliminary investigation was carried out to identify problem faced by students with their task management and the impact on their academic performance. The respondents of this preliminary investigation are undergraduate and postgraduate students from the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Malaya that have responded to a survey questionnaire. Based on the outcome of the preliminary investigation, it is clear that students prefer a computer application to constantly monitor tasks over the internet will ease the tasks of users.

With increasing social awareness on the issue of corporate social performance (CSP), the measurement of CSP has received considerable attention in both academic literature and managerial practice. Though earlier literature provides several methods for measuring corporate social activities, almost all of them have some limitations. In this paper, we propose a methodology for the development of a systematic measure of CSP based on fuzzy analytical hierarchy process (FAHP). In addition, a preliminary investigation is presented to explain how the approach can help in evaluating CSP in practice.

Abstract Flood is one of the hydrometeorological disasters that occur in Surabaya, especially during the rainy season. The occurrence of floods brings a huge impact on the economy, the environment, and humans’ losses. Based on the National Disaster Management Agency in Indonesia (BNPB) records, the flood inundation height in Surabaya reach about 10 -70 cm for 6 hours. Some anticipation efforts are required to minimize the impact. Therefore, this study aims to provide a flood vulnerability level assessment using the GIS and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method as a priority recommendation in increasing capacity. This research uses 4 criteria in the assessment including social, economic, physical, and environmental. Each criterion is divided into several classes with adjusted scoring values. The results of the AHP rank the social criteria as the highest weighted value of 0.42322. Furthermore, the results of the flood vulnerability assessment yield some areas that have the highest vulnerability value including Trengilismejoyo District, Wonocolo District, Dukuhpakis District, Sukolilo District, Krembangan District, Semampir District, and Benowo District.

Purpose: This research aims to analyze the Sensitivity for Prioritization of Storage Hydropower Projects of Nepal. Design/Methodology/Approach: Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) based on Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) has been used for analyzing the Technical, Financial, Policy, Environment factors Sensitivity with pairwise comparison in different multiple criteria. Additionally, the response from the client and expert opinion was conducted. Findings/Result: Technical on first (weightage of 34%), financial on the second (weightage of 25%), environmental on third (weightage of 16%), policy and political on fourth (weightage of 11%), uncertainties on fifth (weightage of 9%), and respondents on sixth (weightage of 5%) are the main the factors. The impact can be explained at 50 % change in weight of respondent Nalsaugad Storage Hydropower Project stands at first rank. If the weightage of respondents changes by 100% then Uttarganga Storage Hydropower Project stands at first rank with respect to respondent factor. The sensitivity analysis with respect to factors was done, which shows no significant difference in the ranking of projects at the base case and at the case of change in weight of factors. AbstrakBerbagai macam upaya dilakukan oleh pemerintah untuk menciptakan lingkungan suatu kota yang bersih, diantaranya melalui penyediaan fasilitas sistem pemrosesan sampah sebagai tahapan akhir dalam pengelolaan sampah. Saat ini, Kabupaten Klungkung, Provinsi Bali memiliki 3 alternatif sistem pemrosesan sampah yang dapat diaplikasikan, yaitu: menggunakan tempat pemrosesan akhir sampah (TPA) eksisting Regional Bangli, membangun TPA baru tersendiri untuk Klungkung, dan pemrosesan akhir di Tempat Olah Sampah Setempat (TOSS). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memilih sistem pemrosesan sampah yang paling optimal dengan mempertimbangkan 4 kriteria, yaitu lingkungan, ekonomi, sosial dan teknis (analisis multikriteria) dengan menggunakan pendekatan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Setiap kriteria memiliki beberapa sub kriteria yang dimintakan kepada 35 orang responden yang mewakili 5 institusi pemerintahan daerah terkait untuk dilakukan penilaian perbandingan berpasangan. Penilaian juga dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi setiap alternatif terhadap semua sub kriteria dan kriteria. Secara global, responden lebih memilih pencegahan pencemaran lingkungan (nilai bobot 0,16) sebagai sub kriteria terpenting dari total 13 sub kriteria yang tersedia. Urutan kriteria yang dianggap lebih penting adalah lingkungan (nilai bobot 0,543), sosial (0,181), ekonomi (0,146) dan teknis (0,130). Untuk alternatif pengolahan sampah di fasilitas TOSS dianggap yang paling optimal (total nilai 0,47) disusul TPA Regional Bangli (0,28), terakhir TPA baru (0,25). Suatu alternatif sistem pemrosesan sampah dengan kelebihan dan kekurangan masing-masing harus dipilih yang paling dapat diterima oleh berbagai stakeholder terkait sehingga diharapkan dapat menjadi bagian dari suatu sistem pengelolaan sampah yang berkelanjutan dari suatu kota.AbstractIn order to create a city clean, efforts are taken by government including provision of waste processing system facility as part of waste management system. Recently, Klungkung Regency, Bali Province has 3 alternatives of waste processing system to be applied, namely: utilizing the existing regional final disposal site (TPA) of Bangli, building a new TPA facility dedicated for Klungkung area only, and on-site waste processing facility (TOSS). The study aims to determine the most optimal of waste processing system by considering 4 criteria, namely environment, economic, social and technical (multicriteria analysis) with the help of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Each criterion having several sub criterions were assessed by 35 respondents representing 5 local government’s institutions by applying pair wise comparison. The asessement were also performed to evaluate the alternatives to the given criteria and sub criterion. In global, respondents preferred to put environmental pollution prevention (weight of 0.16) as the most important among total 13 sub criterions available. Among the criteria, environment (weight of 0.543) was more prioritized than social (0.181), economic (0.146) and technical (0.130) aspects. Other result showed that TOSS (total value of 0.47) was more preferred than existing TPA of Bangli (0.28), and new TPA of Klungkung (0.25). An alternative of waste processing with its advantages and disadvantages should be chosen and acceptable by the related stakeholders, thus the facility becomes part of sustainable waste management system in a city.

The increasingly competitive industrial competition makes companies from all sectors around the world change the system to be more efficient and effective. One of the efforts to improve the company is by implementing a Warehouse Management System (WMS). Lately, many large companies are implementing Auto-ID (automatic identification) technology to solve existing problems. The types of Auto-ID technology that are often used are barcode, RFID and QR code technology. PT AKG is a manufacturing company that produces and markets plastic finished materials to serve the needs of other companies has not yet implemented WMS, this causes human error due to the process still manual. This research proposed to find the best warehouse management system using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method for PT. AKG. Alternative systems in this study are barcode, RFID, and QR code with the criteria used are cost, fuctionality, performance, and sustainability. Based on the results, the system chosen is the QR code with a score of 0.578084. QR codes can make it easier for operators and PPIC department staff to take notes and minimize recording errors. Recording that originally used Microsoft Excel and paper as a tool is no longer needed because operators only need to scan using a smartphone that is connected to the company's warehouse management system.

A year after the primary study that tested the impact of introducing blended learning and guided discovery to help teach computer application to business students, this paper looks into the continued success of using guided discovery and blended learning with learning management system in and out of classrooms to enhance student learning. Particularly, it looks at the successful adaptation and implementation of learning management system as an aid to learning and delivery of a computer application subject to a class that is majorly populated by business students with little or no IT background. This paper tests the continued success to establish whether the success recorded after the first implementation was sustainable or merely influenced by the Hawthorn effect of trialing an innovation. It concludes with final grade measure over a one-year period of implementation of the system, and student responses that strongly support the original approach used by the author.

This research explores the differences on Financial Attitudes among Albanian university students based on their family income. The main objectives of this study are: i) firstly, to assess students attitude towards money management practices; ii) to examine whether their financial attitude differs based on the level of family income; and iii) finally, to present some conclusions and recommendations for parents, practitioners and students in way that they can shape healthy financial habits. An instrument comprised of specific and personal questions is administered to 637 students from five public and two private universities in Albania. The consistency and reliability of the survey is tested by the dimension reduction technique and Cronbach Alpha test. Data analysis is conducted based on analyse of variance. The results exhibits that Albanian university students do not have good financial attitude. Parental income is found to influence their children attitude towards money issues. Students with low parental income are discovered to show better financial attitude in comparison with other categories. This research recommends parents and other practitioners to teach proactively students about money smart.

It has been reported that as many as fifty percent of adults, including first-year University students, have some sort of computer-related phobia. This report demonstrates that the use of computers still has some unpleasant side effects despite the Internet boom in the past decade. Past research shows that computer anxiety influences how users perceive ease of use of an information system. However, few have investigated the role of computer self-efficacy in mediating computer anxieties on perceived ease of use. Therefore, in this study we base our contribution on the variables of computer self-efficacy and computer anxieties. These two variables are believed to impact an individual’s use of computers and performance for computer-based tasks. Anxiety has been argued to impact computer-based learning by affecting levels of self-efficacy anchored in social learning and outcome expectation theories. Self-efficacy is determined by levels of anxiety such that reduced anxiety and increased experience improves performance indirectly by increasing levels of self-efficacy. In this study, we investigate the influence of computer anxiety on perceived ease of use and the mediating effect of computer self-efficacy on this relationship, within an e-learning context. A survey methodology approach was used in this study using 18 items for 3 constructs (perceived ease of use, anxiety, and self-efficacy). Survey data from 645 university students were analyzed. The psychometric properties of the items and constructs were validated followed by the assessment of mediation of computer self efficacy. Results from the use of a learning management system indicate that computer self-efficacy plays a significant role in mediating the impact of anxiety on perceived ease of use. This role is observed by computer selfefficacy (1) reducing the strength and significance of the impact of anxiety on perceived ease of use and (2) having a strong and significant relationship with computer anxiety. The findings demonstrate the importance of self-efficacy as a mediator between computer anxiety and perceived ease of use of a learning management system (LMS). With the continuous development of richer and more integrated interfaces, anxieties about learning to use the new interface and executing tasks effectively becomes of primary importance. Limitations and suggestions for future research are elaborated.
