AbstrakPenelitian ini berjudul Analisis Kompetensi dan Pengembangan Karir Pegawai dengan Employee Engagement sebagai Intervening dalam Peningkatan Kinerja Aparatur Sipil Negara Kecamatan di Wilayah Kota Depok. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan antara lain untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi pegawai dan pengembangan karir terhadap employee engagement dan kinerja dengan variable employee engagement berperan sebagai variabel intervening. Sampel penelitian adalah Aparatur Sipil Negara Kecamatan di wilayah Kota Depok dengan jumlah sample 82 pegawai. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan PLS (Partial Least Square). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi ASN tidak signifikan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja dengan koefisien jalur sebesar 0.133 (p value 0.150 > 0,05) dan kompetensi Aparatur Sipil Negara juga tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Employee engagement dengan koefisien jalur sebesar 0.058 (p value 0.692 > 0.05). Variable Employee engagement mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan koefisien jalur sebesar 0.403 (p value 0.000 < 0.05). Beberapa hal positif dalam variabel ini adalah rasa antusias dan semangat Aparatur Sipil Negara Kecamatan Kota Depok dalam bekerja namun hal yang perlu ditingkatkan adalah rasa kenyamanan dalam organisasi serta menumbuhkan rasa keikutsertaan/andil dalam setiap kesuksesan organisasi. Keberhasilan organisasi bukanlah kesuksesan individu pegawai akan tetapi kesuksesan seluruh perangkat Aparatur Sipil Negara Kecamatan di Wilayah Kota Depok. Kata Kunci: Kompetensi, Pengembangan Karir Pegawai, Employee engagement, Kinerja Pegawai AbstractThe title of this research is the Competence analysis and the Career Development of the Employees by Employee Engagement as Intervening Aspect in the effort to develop the Performance of the State Civil Apparatus in Depok City region. This research has main purposes, among others: to identify impact of employee’s competency and career development to the employee engagement and their performance with employee engagement variable as an intervening variable. The sample of the research is the State Civil Apparatus in Depok City region with the total sample of 82 employees. At the same time, PLS (Partial Least Square) was used for the data analysis. The result of this research shows that the competence of the State Civil Apparatus has no significant impact to their performance with coefficient pathway as 0.133 (p value 0.150 > 0,05) and State Civil Apparatus competency has no significant impact to the employee engagement with the coefficient pathway of 0.058 (p value 0,692 > 0.05). Employee Engagement variable has an impact to the employee performance with the coefficient pathway of 0.403 (p value 0,000 < 0.05). The various positive points of this variable are the enthusiasm, spirit and passion of the State Civil Apparatus in Depok City to work. However, there is necessity to increase a amenities and convenience in the organization as well as encourage and embolden the participation/involvement for the success of the organization. These research was intend to discovered the mediate acts from employee engagement in influencing the affect of employee competence and innovative behaviour on Employees' performance at PT Tetra Pak Indonesia. These research population here used saturated sample from all service engineer employees, with a total sample of 76 service engineers. The data analysis method used Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM PLS). The research outcomes showed that innovative behaviour did not have an significant affect towards Employee performance. Competence had an positive impact in increasing the employee engagement and also this employee engagement could be able to motivate the Innovative behaviour and Employee performance

This study is based on two-factor theory of Herzberg aimed to explore the influence of motivation on job satisfaction and employee performance at the Local Government institutions. This type of research used in this study is exploratory. The population of as many as 108 employees with a total sample of 51 of Civil Servants in East Lombok regency Regional Secretariat on the work unit is in the coordination of the General Administrative Assistant III. The sampling technique used is the technique Proportionate Stratified Random, data analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS) using software SmatPLS 3. The results stated that the motivation positive and significant impact on performance, motivation positive and significant impact on job satisfaction, job satisfaction and a positive effect significantly to the performance, motivation indirect effect on performance through job satisfaction as a variable intervenig. The implications of this research uses only motivating factor of two-factor theory also has other limitations that situational variables. work behavior and work is an integral Herzberg assume a correlation between satisfaction and productivity. The purpose of this study was to analyze and explain the role of mediation motivation in the relationship of compensation to employee performance at Wisma Prashanti Hospital. The population in this study were employees of Wisma Prashanti Hospital with a total sample of 83 respondents. The sampling technique is carried out is a saturated sample technique, the entire population is used as a sample. The research instrument used a questionnaire and analysis method using Partial Least Square (PLS) with SmartPLS 3.2 software. The results showed (1) compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (2) compensation has a positive and significant effect on motivation (3) motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (4) motivation mediates partially and positively and significantly on the relationship between compensation and employee performance. The implications of the results of this study indicate that compensation is found to be a major factor in improving employee performance.

<em>This study uses objects in one of the state-owned companies engaged in microfinance services, namely PT. Investment Management. In this case, of course, PT PNM Investment Management has growth that is very dependent on the service of employees to customers. Therefore, companies must continually improve services to customers and be able to maintain and improve employee performance. This research aims to determine the effect of organizational justice on employee engagement through organizational identification. This quantitative study is based on data collected using a questionnaire distributed to 78 respondents of PT. Investment Management is then analyzed using partial least square. In the results of the analysis using PLS it was found that organizational identification was able to mediate the effect of organizational justice (distributive justice, procedural justice, interactional justice) on employee engagement. This shows that the employee engagement can be achieved by many factors and some of them are about the concept of justice applied by the company and identification of the organization owned by employees, especially employees of PT. PNM Investment Management.</em>

This study aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership and organizational culture on employee performance mediated by job motivation. The population in this study included 134 Civil Servants in the Secretariat of the Bali District/City Election Commission with a total sample of 100 people using the proportional random sampling method. Data analysis techniques were performed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. Job motivation is able to mediate the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational culture on employee performance partially. The Head of the Secretariat of the KPU of Regency/City in Bali needs to develop a transformational leadership style by providing motivation that inspires subordinates to work better when job motivation increases will be directly proportional to an increase in employee performance. In addition, a strong organizational culture such as information disclosure and participation of all members of the organization in achieving organizational goals can be developed continuously. When job motivation increases, it will encourage employees to improve the quality and timeliness of employees in completing work.

This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational communication and job satisfaction, on employee engagement and employee performance. The research data used are primary data derived from questionnaires and secondary data derived from company data. The sample method used is the nonprobability method. The population comes from all employees of PT. Abyor International which is still active in September 2019. The analytical method used in this study is the Partial Least Square (PLS) Structured Equation Model (SEM) using Smart PLS version 3.0. The results showed that organizational communication and job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect to employee engagement. Organizational communication and job satisfaction have no significant effect to employee performance. Employee engagement has a positive and significant effect to employee performance. Employee engagement becomes mediator for organizational communication and job satisfaction variables in influencing employee performance.

This study aims to determine the effect of education and training, motivation, and knowledge sharing on employee performance at PT Telkom Akses BSD. This study was conducted on 127 respondents using a quantitative descriptive approach with the non-probability sampling method of the Slovin formula. The data analysis used is the Component or Variance Based Structural Equation Model and processed with the Partial Least Square (Smart-PLS) version 3.0 PLS program. The results of this study indicate that Education and Training, Motivation and Knowledge Sharing have a simultaneous and partial effect on employee performance at PT Telkom Akses BSD because it has a T-Statistic value>1.96 and a P-value <0.05. Knowledge Sharing has the greatest influence with the amount of influence of 0.372

This study aims to determine the influence of work environment and perceived organizational support on the employee’s performance of PT Y in Surabaya, both directly or indirectly with employee engagement as an intervening variable. This research is a quantitative study. Population and sample based on the distribution of questionnaires to the performance of the employees of PT Y in Surabaya was taken as many as 30 respondents. Data collection techniques used interviews, observations, and questionnaires. For statistical tests and the processing of data is carried out by using the partial least square (Smart PLS 3.0). The study showed that each variable, work environment and perceived organizational support had a direct significant influence on employee performance and employee engagement. Work environment had a direct significant effect on employee performance with a t-statistical value of 2.136 greater than the indirect effect through employee engagement as an intervening variable with a t-statistics value of 1.454. While perceived organizational support had a direct effect on employee performance with t-statistics of 2.550 is greater when compared to the indirect effect through employee engagement as an intervening variable with t-statistics 2.042.

This study aims to analyze the influence of intrinsic motivation and organizational culture on employee performance mediated by employee engagement. The object of this research is the employees of PT XYZ. A total of 100 respondents filled out a questionnaire, the sample was taken using a saturated sample of 100 employees. This research was conducted from October 2019 to April 2020 at the PT XYZ office. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling. Data were analyzed using the Smart PLS (Partial Least Square) path analysis application. The results of this study indicate that Intrinsic Motivation and Organizational Culture have a positive and significant effect on performance. Meanwhile Employee Engagement becomes a mediation between Intrinsic Motivation and Organizational Culture on Performance. Employee Engagement perfectly mediates Intrinsic Motivation. And Employee Engagement partially mediates Organizational Culture.

Blue Waters Bali is 52 people. The method of selecting the sample of this study using purposive sampling. The sample of this research is all employees at CV. Blue Waters Bali. Data analysis technique used in this research is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS) using SmartPLS 3.0 program. The result of the research shows that (1) career development has positive and significant effect on work motivation, (2) positive and significant leadership leadership toward work motivation, (3) career development have positive and significant impact on employee performance, (4) positive and significant head leadership (5) the influence of mediation of work motivation variable on indirect influence of career development on performance, and (7) influence of mediation of work motivation variable on indirect influence of leadership on partial performance
