Experimental studies were conducted on the basis of the Research Center for Biosafety and Environmental Control of Resources of the Agroindustrial Complex of the Dnipro SAEU, poultry farms of different directions of productivity of Donetsk-Prydniprovsky region of Ukraine in the period from 2016 to 2019. The purpose of the work is to determine the nature of pathomorphological changes and the status of systemic immunity in chickens with respiratory mycoplasmosis at poultry farms with various production. To determine the immunodeficiency and immunopathological conditions of a productive poultry with respiratory mycoplasmosis, a comprehensive immunological study was performed. Significant fluctuations in the absolute and relative values of leukograms and immunograms have been established, indicating a significant immunological alteration in chickens with respiratory mycoplasmosis. The most significant changes in the status of systemic immunity are found in chickens with respiratory mycoplasmosis at poultry farms with meat production, which are subject to more longer and more intense influence of human activity.

Computer simulation is a tool increasingly used by archaeologists to build theories about past human activity; however, simulation has had a limited role theorising about the relationship between past behaviours and the formation of observed patterning in the material record. This paper visits the argument for using simulation as a means of addressing the gap that exists between archaeological interpretations of past behaviours and their physical residues. It is argued that simulation is used for much the same reason that archaeologists use ethnographic or experimental studies, and that computational models can help to address some of the practical limitations of these approaches to record formation. A case study from arid Australia, examining the effects of episodic surface erosion on the visibility of the record, shows how simple, generative simulations, grounded in formational logic, can be used to compare different explanatory mechanisms and suggest tests of the archaeological record itself.

The status and some recent developments in computational modeling of flexible multibody systems are summarized. Discussion focuses on a number of aspects of flexible multibody dynamics including: modeling of the flexible components, constraint modeling, solution techniques, control strategies, coupled problems, design, and experimental studies. The characteristics of the three types of reference frames used in modeling flexible multibody systems, namely, floating frame, corotational frame, and inertial frame, are compared. Future directions of research are identified. These include new applications such as micro- and nano-mechanical systems; techniques and strategies for increasing the fidelity and computational efficiency of the models; and tools that can improve the design process of flexible multibody systems. The article deals with the problem of recycling in poultry farm Mikhnevskaya. The work program provided for the continuation of studies on the development of the system of pond preparation of sewage water in biological ponds of purification. As one of the options, the systems of BOCS ponds (biological oxidation contact stabilization ponds) and ponds with higher aquatic vegetation, as a system of posttreatment of wastewater, as well as the use of fish ponds were proposed. The development of devices that provide deeutrophication of decontaminated wastewater in the BOCS ponds was started. As measures that contributed to the improvement of water purification to be discharged into the environment, an attempt was made to introduce at the final stages of purification of the algobacterial complex, higher aquatic vegetation, and fish seed material. A survey of the poultry farm was conducted; the conditions of wastewater formation of the Mikhnevskaya poultry farm of Stupinsky district of the Moscow region were studied. Model experiments were carried out at the Mikhnevskaya poultry farm in laboratory and semi-production conditions, directly in the laboratory of the Institute at the facility. In the course of experimental studies it was found that in the ponds under the influence of algological complex of microalgae was the process of purification and disinfection of poultry wastewater. The total death of pathogenic bacteria of the E. coli group occurred on 6-11 days after the introduction of microalgae into the water of the algal pond, which does not contradict the existing developments. At the same time, there was still an increase in fish seed material, which was sufficiently provided with food and by the autumn reached a mass of 410 grams.

This paper reports on a SP-8 Panel project to analyze the application of Concurrent Engineering (CE) in U.S. shipbuilding and to perform a pilot implementation of CE within a U.S. shipyard. It describes (1) results of a Shipbuilding Concurrent Engineering Questionnaire survey; (2) a summary of product development performance benchmark surveys conducted at several U.S. shipyards; (3) visit to several foreign shipyards as well as Boeing Commercial Aircraft Company, Lockheed Missiles and Space Company, and the Concurrent Engineering Research Center to discuss implementation of CE; (4) requirements for successful CE implementation by U.S. shipbuilders; and (5) the status of the pilot CE implementation at Bath Iron Works Corporation.

The study reports on the analysis of the anamnestic data of2044 women with reproductive disorders who underwent operative interventions for tumors and tumorlike masses of the ovaries during the period of 1989-1999 in the Research Center of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences. A high incidence rate о f complicated anamnesis and the coexisting somatic and extragenital diseases was revealed. The data are presented concerning the status of menstrual and reproductive function of the patients examined.

Biosecurity implemented on the poultry farms in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), in the form of preparedness against any possible outbreak of disease, is critical for farm survival, safety, and development. Little information on the status of biosecurity readiness for containing any outbreak of poultry disease is available. This study was conducted to evaluate the status of biosecurity on commercial poultry farms in the UAE. Four categories of biosecurity measures/actions: isolation, human and traffic flow, cleaning, and disinfection, and adoption of vaccination protocols were considered. All 37 licensed commercial poultry farms in the country were enrolled in the study’s survey. Cumulative Distribution Functions (CDFs) and Artificial Neural Network statistical (ANN) methods were used for ranking biosecurity on farms, including a breakdown for large and small farms, and to identify areas that require improvements. The ANN is used to correlate preparedness in the focus areas to the poultry farms’ biophysical and business characteristics, such as the number of yearly flock cycles, farm capacity, the total area of the farms, density, and the number of biosecurity workers. This study finds that more stringent implementation of vaccination protocol, isolation, and human and vehicle-flow controls for disinfection are most needed. The study also revealed that poultry farms address biosecurity preparedness differently based on the type of production on large or small farms, and for broilers or layers.

The authors present a summary of previous research projects in the field of professional situation of artists in Poland. They refer to the conducted research of the Labour Market of Artists and Creators in Poland as well as the expertise of “The Support for Artists and Creators. International Perspective”. They also present their vision of a support system for creators and artists, which comprises: the monitoring and analysis; the status of an artist; remuneration (government programmes and potential mechanisms to stimulate demand; taxes; copyright law); insurance; foreign promotion of artists; the organisation of the labour market of artists and adjusting education to its requirements. Finally, they refer to the presentation delivered at the conference “Creative Economy in Poland, Facts and Myths”, organised by the Creative Economy Research Center of SWPS University. The main postulate proposed by the authors is to create a platform for constant monitoring and analysis of the professional situation of artists in Poland, to which the project of estimating the number of artists, creators and performers should lead.
