This paper presents the results of experimental research on the development and substantiation of parameters and operating modes of the drive mechanism of the cutting apparatus in a mower with a double knife stroke. A structural and technological scheme of the drive mechanism of the cutting device of the segment-finger type mower has been developed, in which a double stroke of the cutting device knife is provided. Analytical relationships were obtained to determine the knife stroke, speed and acceleration. Based on the results of theoretical and experimental studies, the main parameters of the mower drive mechanism were substantiated. Based on the condition of a high-quality cut of plants, at a minimum grass cutting speed, the minimum crank shaft speed was determined. By calculation, the feed area and the load area of the cutter for normal cutting with a double cut of the knife are determined. Analytical relationships were obtained to determine the power required to drive the cutterbar of a mower with a double knife stroke. Based on the research results, the main parameters of the mower with an improved drive are substantiated. An experimental sample was made and preliminary tests of the drive mechanism were carried out, agrotechnical and energy indicators of the mower operation were determined.

This technique enables to find the rational values for the following parameters of the solution pump when workingwith plaster solutions of different displacement: working body frequency movement, diameter, mass and height of liftingover the valve, the hole diameter in the valve sockets.

This article presents the results of experimental studies on the use of Chlorella microalgae for wastewater treatment from the most common mineral pollutants. The influence of the mineral pollutants, namely anions HSO3- , NO3 - , H2PO4 - on the dynamics of wastewater treatment has been established. Analytical dependences of microalgae biomass growth rate depending on pollutant concentration HSO3- , NO3 - , H2PO4 - and are obtained. The values of biomass growth coefficients at the corresponding pollutant concentrations are determined. Based on the obtained experimental research results, mathematical models have been constructed that allow predicting the maximum values of mineral pollutants concentrations at which effective wastewater treatment by chlorophyllsynthesizing microalgae is possible. The technological scheme of wastewater treatment from mineral pollutants and the mechanism of the obtained application biomass are proposed.

The sowing unit is one of the main devices of any planter, determining the quality of sowing, especially when it comes to the sowing unit of the central dosing. The article describes the proposed technological scheme of sowing of difficult seeds with a pin-disc type metering device. Its feature is the presence of an activator of seed outflow from the bunker. The proposed apparatus is capable of dispensing hard-to-sowing seeds with high quality, which include most of the seeds of cereal grasses (and not only). An original technique and a specially developed laboratory setup for assessing the longitudinal uniformity of seeding are described. The essence of the technique consists in sowing seeds on a moving horizontal platform with sectors of the same size. With its use, time and labor costs for conducting experiments are significantly reduced. The results of theoretical and experimental studies to determine the optimal design and operational parameters of the proposed device are given. Analysis of the results of the research is presented herewith.

The article presents the results of theoretical and experimental studies of leaching of polymetallic manganese-containing and ferromanganese ore. Thermodynamic calculations and experimental studies on enrichment of manganese-containing raw materials made it possible to determine the main technological parameters of the extraction of manganese, iron and non-ferrous metals, and to develop technological schemes for enrichment of various types of manganese-containing raw materials. The studies were carried out for polymetallic and ferromanganese ores of the Kaigadat deposit, the Selezen deposit, the Sugul site, located in the Kemerovo Region – Kuzbass. Before carrying out laboratory studies, the authors have performed thermodynamic analysis of ore leaching, chemical and X-ray structural analyzes of the samples. Laboratory tests were carried out on a multichamber autoclave unit MKA-4-75 using calcium and iron chlorides as solvents. Since the introduction of a reducing agent into the charge during leaching significantly improves the conditions for dissolution of oxides and hydroxides of manganese in calcium chloride, a series of experiments was conducted with the use of charcoal in the charge. Thermodynamic calculations have shown that the leaching process is fully implemented in the temperature range from 323 to 673 K. The results of the experiments confirmed the theoretical research results. The obtained data allowed the authors to propose a technological scheme for hydrometallurgical enrichment of polymetallic and ferromanganese ores to produce high-quality concentrates. All processed products are suitable for use. The use of optimal technological parameters of enrichment allows 95–97 % of manganese, up to 80 % of nickel, up to 99 % of cobalt, and 96–98 % of iron to be extracted from polymetallic manganese-containing raw materials. As a result of the deposition of these elements, high-quality concentrates of manganese, nickel, iron, cobalt are obtained. According to the proposed technological scheme for ferromanganese raw materials with a high content of silicates, it is possible to obtain high-quality concentrates of manganese and iron, while the extraction of manganese is 90–92 %, and of iron – 86–90 %.

Over the decades, more attention has been paid to emissions from the means of transport and the use of different fuels and combustion fuels for the operation of internal combustion engines than on fuel consumption. This, in turn, enables research into products that are said to reduce fuel consumption. The report summarizes four studies of fuel-related innovation products. The studies covered by this report are conducted with diesel fuel and usually contain diesel fuel and three additives for it. Manufacturers of additives are based on already existing studies showing a 10-30% reduction in fuel consumption. Comparative experimental studies related to the use of commercially available diesel fuel with and without the use of additives have been performed in laboratory conditions. The studies were carried out on a stationary diesel engine СМД-17КН equipped with brake КИ1368В. Repeated results were recorded, but they did not confirm the significant positive effect of additives on specific fuel consumption. In some cases, the factors affecting errors in this type of research on the effectiveness of fuel additives for commercial purposes are considered. The reasons for the positive effects of such use of additives in certain engine operating modes are also clarified.

The drive of this research is to examine the machinability of 100Cr6 bearing steel using advanced C-type cutting tools. Experimental studies investigated the effects of machining variables on the surface quality, chip reduction coefficient and cutting force. Seven advanced coated tools were checked for characterization by micro hardness (VHN), adhesion quality, X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDXS). The experimental trials were planned by Taguchi’s L18 orthogonal array using a mixed-level design. Two numerical machining variables feed rate and cutting speed, and one categorical machining variable tool type was taken into consideration while a constant depth of cut was kept for all trails. A combined Taguchi-Satisfaction function distance measure approach was implemented for multi-response optimization. The most promising machining parameter setting for minimization of surface roughness, cutting force, and chip reduction coefficient was identified. The most important process parameter was found to be tool-type. Ceramics tools are found to be best trailed by WC coated tools under most of the conditions. Lower tool wear was observed in the CBN tool as compared to others.

The article contains the analysis of thermoplastics used in prototyping machine parts. We used several types of experimental samples with different filling percentages. The equipment on which the experimental studies were carried out is shown. During the experiment, a specialized tensile testing machine was used. The experimental samples were installed in the developed centering device. Normal conditions were observed during the tests. The results of an experimental tensile study of PLA-plastic specimens are presented. The typical stress-strain diagram of an experimental sample is described, which describes the dependence of stress on relative deformation. An equation of the linear dependence of the tensile strength on the percentage of filament filling has been compiled, which makes it possible to determine the tensile strength of the product at any percentage of the filling of the plastic filament. The assessment is adequately verified by Fisher's criterion. Recommendations for filament filling in prototyping machine parts are given.

Purpose. Еxperimental substantiation of the effectiveness of biocompatible biodegradable hydrogels based on hyaluronic acid and chitosan succinate as a carrier of ranibizumab in antiglaucoma operations. Material and methods. Hydrogel drainage (HD) was obtained immediately before surgery. A solution of ranibizumab (0.23 ml) was mixed with a solution of hyaluronic acid dialdehyde (0.5 ml), then a solution of chitosan succinate (0.5 ml) was added. Experimental studies were performed in 12 (12 eyes) healthy rabbits. The first group consisted of 6 eyes – 0.187 ml of ranibizumab per 1 ml of gel. In the control group, HD was used intraoperatively without the addition of ranibizumab (6 eyes). Morphological studies were performed on 7th, 21st, and 42nd days. Results. In experimental studies in vitro and in vivo, it was proved that ranibizumab, administered as a part of 0.1 ml of hydrogel drainage in the antiglaucoma surgery area is released within 3 weeks and suppresses vascularization, scarring of the operating area, and preserves the intrascleral cavity. The optimal concentration of ranibizumab was selected-0.02 ml in 0.1 ml of gel. Conclusion. The safety and effectiveness of the use of hydrogel drainage with ranibizumab based on hyaluronic acid dialdehyde and chitosan succinate in anti-glaucoma operations has been proven. OBJECTIVE: To test a reliable and easily administered frustration-induction procedure for experimental research. METHOD: One hundred volunteers (81 women, mean age ± SD 34.2 ± 8 years) physically and psychiatrically healthy submitted to the frustration induction procedure were prevented from reaching reward level scores. Subjective aggressiveness feelings related to frustration were self-rated in a 13-item visual analogue scale before and after the procedure. RESULTS: Significant increases in aggressiveness-related feelings were detected in 12 of the 13 items. This was consistent with the observed overt behavior of the subjects during the task. CONCLUSIONS: The frustration-induction procedure is a simple, easy to administer frustration-induction procedure that can be used in experimental studies in normal subjects.

The results of the formation of statodynamic stability’s parameters in the structure of coordination qualities of younger adolescents are presented.
