Relations between economic zoobenthos species and ecological characteristics of Thi Nai lagoon were reported as results of three surveys carried out during 2014–2015. The results have pointed out 11 zoobenthos species that have primarily economic value at the Thi Nai lagoon (5 bivalve species, 5 crustacea species and 1 gastropoda species). Bivalve group possesses 91% of the entire commercial yield of benthic animal (7,456.9 tons/year), in which Glauconome chinensis and Gari elongata possess dominatingly (possess 90% of the entire commercial yield of bivalves: 6,817 tons/year). Bivalve and gastropoda groups were found in correlation with sandy sediment and mangroves but crustacea group was found in correlation with muddy sand sediments and seagrass. The results of this study will conntribute the scientific basis for further studies on the trophic relationship, food web and data for planning, zoning and appropriate exploitation of fisheries resources.

A survey of benthic communities found in a heavily fished scallop ground was undertaken in July 1993. Two main faunal assemblages were identified from samples obtained with fine-meshed scallop dredges, which were grouped either in gravelly sand sediments or sandy sediment, which was generally furthest offshore in deeper water. A third assemblage was found in either sandy or gravelly muddy sand sediments. The highest abundance of small and large size-classes of scallops were associated with the assemblage containing the greatest number of species and individuals in sandy sediments. This assemblage had the greatest biomass of emergent fauna such as hydroids and Alcyonium digitatum. Data acquired from a RoxAnn™ acoustic signal processor were able to differentiate between the substratum or biotopes associated with the greatest abundance of scallops. This may provide a useful tool for refining surveys of commercial stocks or mapping suitable habitats.

Perairan Pulau Bangkudulis merupakan daerah estuaria dengan tingkat keanekaragaman hayati yang tinggi. Kondisi ini berpotensi memiliki nilai ekonomi dalam kegiatan perikanan tangkap yang dilakukan secara berkelanjutan dan lestari. Potensi pemanfaatan perikanan salah satunya yaitu dengan menggunakan alat tangkap sero (set net) yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat Kabupaten Tana Tidung, Kalimantan Utara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sosial ekonomi dan tingkat keramahan lingkungan alat tangkap sero (set net) yang dilakukan di perairan Pulau Bangkudulis Kabupaten Tana Tidung, Kalimantan Utara dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui survei dan wawancara, sementara itu teknik penentuan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari sisi sosial ekonomi, alat tangkap sero merupakan salah satu alat tangkap yang menguntungkan bagi nelayan di Kabupaten Tana Tidung karena tidak bertentangan dengan budaya setempat dan tidak bertentangan dengan peraturan yang ada. Sero masuk ke dalam kategori alat tangkap yang berkelanjutan terhadap sumberdaya kelautan dan perikanan. Pemanfaatan alat tangkap sero (set net) dalam kegiatan perikanan tangkap di Pulau Bangkudulis mempunyai bobot 27,71, nilai ini masuk dalam kategori ramah lingkungan. Dimana alat tangkap sero tersebut telah memenuhi 3 kriteria tingkat keramahan lingkungan yaitu X2 tidak merusak lingkungan, X5 produksi tidak membahayakan konsumen dan X7 dampak terhadap biodiversitas.Titled: Socio Economic and Environmental Friendliness Analysis Set net Fishing Gear in The Waters of Bangkudulis Island, Tana Tidung Regency, North KalimantanThe waters of Bangkudulis Island is an estuary area with high marine biodiversity level. One of the fisheries utilization potential is by using set net fishing gear that conducted by community in Tana Tidung District. This research aimed to obtain environmental friendliness level using set net fishing gear in the waters of Bangkudulis Island Tana Tidung regency North Kalimantan by using quantitative descriptive approachment. Data collection technique was conducted by using survey and interview, while sampling technique was conducted by using purposive sampling. The result show that from socio-economic aspect, set net fishing gear is a profitable fishing gear for the fishermen in Tana Tidung Regency because it’s in line with local culture and existing regulation. Set net is categorized in the category of sustainable marine and fisheries resources fishing gear. The fisheries utilization by using set net in Bangkudulis Island has value of 27.71 and categorized in the category of environmentally friendly. Where the set net fishing gear meets three criteria of environmental friendliness namely X2 not damage the environment, X5 the production does not harm the consumers, and X7 impact to the biodiversity.

Sumedang District is one of the areas where Jatigede Reservoir is built, which is primarily for hydroelectric power generation and other derivative functions such as drinking water supply, irrigation, flood control, tourism, and capture fisheries. Research aims to examine how the potential of capture fisheries resources and socio-economic values for local communities. This method used quantitative description of the performance of costs and benefits. The data used in this reserach are primary data and secondary. Primary data with judgment sampling as many as 30 respondents. Based on the research gap analysis for the social aspects of the local communities affected by the construction of reservoirs Jatigede contradiction between the expectations of the people to utilize the reservoir Jatigede based derivative function with local government regulations, so there is still social conflicts in society.Results of Analytic Network Process levels of jatigede reservoir function based on economic value the main function of hydroelectric power plants is socio-economic value for residents affected by the construction of Jatigede reservoir, one of which is capture fisheries, which should be given by the local government regulations regarding catchment zones, types of fishing gear are allowed and security protection for fishing in reservoirs Jatigede, institutional strengthening Jatigede fishing in reservoirs.Environmental aspects by taking into account the aquatic habitat in the Jatigede reservoir,which can be used for fisheries with due respect to the conservation of fishery resources, especially for endemic fish by periodically restocking, so that socio-economic and environmental values can be synergistic in utilizing the Jatigede reservoir.

Giá trị kinh tế gia tăng (EVA) được sử dụng để đánh giá thành quả hoạt động của nhà quản lý. Kể từ khi công cụ này được công bố tới nay, có nhiều doanh nghiệp tại các quốc gia phát triển đã triển khai ứng dụng và đạt được những thành tựu nhất định. Lần đầu tiên (theo quan điểm của một số nhà nghiên cứu), thước đo này đã trở thành “thủ lĩnh tiên phong” trên “mặt trận” đo lường hiệu quả tài chính của doanh nghiệp nhưng một số nhà nghiên cứu khác thì không đồng thuận như vậy. Bài viết nhằm mục đích khái quát hóa các quan điểm lý luận cũng như kinh nghiệm thực tiễn ứng dụng thước đo EVA trên thế giới, qua đó giúp định hình xu thế và khả năng vận dụng trong thực tiễn hoạt động quản trị doanh nghiệp cũng như nghiên cứu ở Việt Nam. Phương pháp tổng quan nghiên cứu được thực hiện thông qua lược đồ phân loại các dòng nghiên cứu theo thời gian, các vấn đề nghiên cứu đã được giải quyết, các vấn đề còn gây tranh cãi để gợi ý hướng nghiên cứu tiếp theo. Nghiên cứu này kế thừa nghiên cứu của Anil K.Sharma và Satish Kumar (2008) đến 2008 và tổng kết bổ sung các nghiên cứu về EVA đã thực hiện từ năm 2009 đến 2017.

Provinsi Banten memiliki lokasi yang strategis dan potensi sumber daya ikan yang besar. Salah satu jenis sumber daya ikan yang produksinya cukup tinggi dan memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi adalah ikan teri. Produksi ikan teri di Provinsi Banten pada tahun 2015 berkisar 6.474,5 ton atau sebesar 28% dari produksi ikan pelagis kecil dan 14% dari produksi total ikan laut. Jumlah produksi ikan teri yang cukup tinggi ini dapat bermanfaat untuk mendukung pengembangan dan pembangunan daerah maupun nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan lokasi basis perikanan teri dan memetakan jalur pemasarannya di Provinsi Banten. Penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten Pandeglang, Kabupaten Lebak, Kabupaten Tangerang, Kabupaten Serang, Kota Serang dan Kota Cilegon, dari Februari hingga November 2017. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode survei dan skoring terhadap kriteria yang ditetapkan. Data jalur pemasaran ikan teri dianalisis secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil skoring, lokasi potensial basis perikanan teri di Provinsi Banten adalah Pandeglang, Kab. Serang, Kota Serang dan Kota Cilegon. Berdasarkan nilai LQ, Kabupaten Pandeglang bukan merupakan wilayah basis produksi teri. Namun, berdasarkan hasil survei diperoleh data dan informasi bahwa pusat pendaratan dan pengolahan teri dengan volume produksi tinggi dan kontinu sepanjang tahun berada di sepanjang pesisir Selat Sunda yaitu mulai dari Kecamatan Panimbang, Citeureup hingga Sumur. Jalur distribusi pemasaran ikan teri yang terdapat di Banten adalah jenis saluran tingkat dua dan saluran tingkat tiga. Saluran tingkat dua yaitu produsen-pengepul-pengecer-konsumen, mempunyai dua perantara penjualan. Pada pasar konsumen, mereka merupakan grosir atau pedagang besar dan sekaligus pengecer. Saluran tingkat tiga terdiri dari produsen-pengepul-pengecer-distributor-konsumen yang mempunyai tiga perantara penjualan.Title: Analysis of Determining the Base Location of Anchovy Fisheries and its Marketing Distribution in The Banten ProvinceBanten has strategic location and abundant fisheries resources. The anchovy is one of the largest fish resources in terms of production and economic value. Its production came out to about 3,972.1 tons or 22.2% of small pelagic fish production and 14% of total marine fish production. The production of anchovy is highly beneficial to support both regional and national development. This research aimed at mapping potential location of anchovy and its marketing line in Banten Province. The research was conducted at Pandeglang Regency, Lebak Regency, Tangerang Regency, Serang Regency, Serang and Cilegon from February to November 2017 with survey and scoring method. Data regarding the marketing channel of anchovy were analyzed descriptively. The scoring results showed that the potential location of anchovy fisheries in Banten Province were based in Pandeglang, Serang Regency, Serang and Cilegon. Based on LQ value, Pandeglang Regency was not an anchovy production base area. However, the survey resulted in a data and information that the anchovy landing and processing center with high and continuous production volumes throughout the year were located along the Sunda Strait strating from Panimbang, Citerureup to Sumur subdistrict. Marketing distribution channel for anchovy in Banten were second level and third level channels. The second tier channel were producer-wholesaler-retailer-consumer which has two seller. In the consumer market, they were wholesalers and retailers. The third tier channel consisted of producer-wholesaler-retailer-distributor-consumer who had three sales intermediaries.

The objective of this study is to measure the potential economic value of fisheries in the area of conservation of seagrass meadows on the eastern coast of Bintan island. The result of this study could became a policy input for managing sustaibale fisheries resources. The presence of seagrass ecosystem could support carrying capacity of the surrounding area of seagrass for growing related biotas that associated with the seagrass ecosystem. The number of benefit of seagrass ecosystem could be measured by production surplus approach. The result of analysis shows that the economic value of fisheries of seagrass ecosystem is equal to the fisheries economic IDR 92.73 billion or IDR 558.28 million hectare-1 year-1 in 2016. The maximum economic yield (MEY) of this artisanal fisheries is 5032 ton year-1 with the number of effort should be maintained at 5281 trip of net fishing gear. A sustainable fisheries management should be maintained in the level of harvest and effort in MEY condition in order to give a maximum benefit to the fishermen and sustaible to the fisheries. Keywords:  seagrass ecoystem, seagrass fisheries, bioeconomic of seagrass fisheries, eastern coast of Bintan island, maximum economic yield

As ecotourism continues to grow in Vietnam, the potential and willingness to pay (WTP) for eco-services need to be assessed. The focus of this was in the Natural Bird Park in Bien Bach Dong commune of Thoi Binh District, Ca Mau Province. WTP estimation during the period of 2020 to 2025 shows that the choice of payment level will range from 10,000 to 25,000 VND. The pre- diction for 2026 to 2030 the prices of 20,000and 25,000 VND was chosen as the highest rates. The regression equation of stage 1 showed adjusted R2 = 0.514; which means that 51.4% of the variability of the dependent variable can be explained by the studied model. The regression results also showed that the positive impact of education level (X3), occupation (F), income (X4) on the WTP are statistically significant (p<0.05). In contrast, the related variables such as gender (D) and number of trips (X5) had an negative effect on WTP. In the stage 2, a positive interaction of independent factors such as occupation (F) and income (X4) on the WTP in the period of 2026 to 2030 was also found. Although, the independent variables of age (X1), education (X3) and number of trips (X5) had an negative effect on WTP levels (p<0.05). The adjusted R2 value was equal to 0.438 and this model explained 43.8% of the variation in WTP. The results provide a scientific basis for proposing the appropriate ecotourism solutions in Thoi Binh District, Ca Mau Province.

AbstractA new type of polyhalite potassium ore (NTPPO) was found in the Lower Triassic Jialingjiang Formation, NE Sichuan Basin, SW China. It is water soluble, therefore can be exploited using the water-solution method, and is of great potential of economic value and research significance. Based on cores, thin sections, energy spectrum and SEM analyses, its microfeatures, macrofeatures and origin are discussed, and a genetic model is established to provide a scientific basis for future evaluation, prediction and exploration of potassium ore in the Sichuan Basin. It is proposed that the NTPPO was caused by storm activities: (1) the storm broke the original sedimentary polyhalite–gypsum beds, whose fragments were transported into the salt basin with high content of K+ and Mg2+; (2) in the basin, the polyhalite continued to be formed from gypsum by metasomatism with K- and Mg-rich brine; (3) during diagenesis, under high temperature and high pressure, K–Mg-rich brine from halite continued to replace anhydrite (or gypsum) to form polyhalite.

In order to provide the basis for the application of scientific and technological advances, reorganizing shrimpfarming in sustainable and bringing high economic value to the Mekong Delta. The study surveyed the current situation of breeds, farming methods, environmental monitoring control, Vibrio sp. and the use  of probiotics of shrimp farmers in the Ca Mau peninsula by interviewing 200 shrimp farmers and 20 specialized fisheries officers in Ca Mau, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu and Kien Giang provinces. The results showed that the shrimp breeds selected for farming originated from the Central and Southwest provinces. There are four popular farming methods: intensive, semi-intensive, improved extensive, and rice-shrimp. The intensive farming had the highest rates of the initial quarantine of shrimp postlarvae (74%) and Vibrio test (57%). All shrimp farmers workingon the intensive and semi-intensive farmings used probiotics. The rates of probiotic use in the improved extensive and riceshrimp farmings were lower, only 60% and 40% respectively. The results suggested that shrimp farmers working on the semi-intensive and intensive farmings paid more attention to the use of probiotics as well as the test to prevent the disease in shrimp.

<p align="center"><strong><em>ABSTRACT</em></strong><strong><em></em></strong></p><p class="Abstractisi">Groupers are important fisheries resources in the tropic and sub-tropic due to it has high economic value, so that continuously exploitation even in some waters have collapsed and high capture pressureThe study aimed to identify population parameters of coral grouper (Plectropomus sp.) in Karimunjawa waters as basic information for fisheries management. Sampling method using fish landing observation method for fish catches in 14 days every month since 2010-2015 caught in Karimunjawa waters. Growth parameters, mortality, length at first capture, and recruitment pattern analysis using the Rstudio, FiSAT II and spawning potential ratio with LB-SPR analysis. The growth rate is relatively slow with k values ranging from 0.10 to 0.13 and lifespan of 21.93-27.73 years. The stock condition of the coral grouper species of P. leopardus, P. maculatus, and P. Oligacanthus was indicated overfished with E&gt; 0.5 and SPR of 0.14, 0.22, and 0.25. These indicate that the 3 species of Plectropomus sp. in Karimunjawa is at unsustainable levels. Coral grouper type P. areolatus has E=0.45 and SPR=0.52, meaning that this type of grouper has a low exploitation rate and high spawning potential compared to other species coral grouper in Karimunjawa waters.</p><p class="TubuhTulisanAll"><strong><em>Keywords:</em></strong><strong><em> </em></strong><em>coral grouper, fisheries, Karimunjawa waters, stock status</em><strong></strong></p><p class="TubuhTulisanAll" align="center"><strong>ABSTRAK</strong></p><p class="Abstrakisi">Ikan kerapu adalah sumber perikanan penting di daerah tropis dan sub-tropis karena bernilai ekonomis tinggi, sehingga terus dilakukan eksploitasi bahkan beberapa perairan telah mengalami collapse dan tekanan penangkapan yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi parameter-parameter populasi ikan kerapu sunu (Plectropomus sp.) di perairan Karimunjawa sebagai informasi dasar dalam pengelolaan perikanan. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan metode observasi (pengamatan) terhadap hasil tangkapan ikan selama 14 hari dalam satu bulan dari tahun 2010-2015 yang ditangkap di Perairan Karimunjawa. Analisis parameter pertumbuhan, mortalitas, length first capture, dan recruitment pattern menggunakan program Rstudio, FiSAT II dan rasio potensi pemijahan dengan analisis LB-SPR. Laju pertumbuhan tergolong lambat dengan nilai k berkisar 0,10-0,13 dan lifespan 21,93-27,73 tahun. Kondisi stok ikan kerapu sunu jenis <em>P. leopardus</em>, <em>P. maculatus</em>, dan <em>P. oligacanthus</em> diindikasikan mengalami kondisi tangkap lebih dengan E &gt; 0,5 dan SPR sebesar 0,14, 0,22, dan 0,25. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penangkapan saat ini untuk 3 spesies kerapu sunu di Karimunjawa berada pada tingkat yang tidak berkelanjutan. Kerapu sunu jenis <em>P. areolatus</em> memiliki E sebesar 0,45 dan SPR 0,52, artinya kerapu jenis ini memiliki tingkat eksploitasi yang rendah dan potensi pemijahan yang tinggi dibandingkan jenis kerapu sunu lainnya di Perairan Karimunjawa.</p><strong>Kata kunci: </strong>kerapu sunu, perikanan, Perairan Karimunjawa, status stok
