The situation in the ecology of the Crimean Peninsula in recent years was discussed in the article. The analysis of absolute and integrated indicators of the anthropogenic impact showed that the ecological situation remains difficult, and according to some indicators even continues to deteriorate. In summer 2018, the situation had worsened because of the large chemical release of titanium dioxide on the north of the Crimea from the holding pond of a large Russian plant that is situated near the town of Armyansk. This, in turn, led to the contamination of the large territory on the north of the peninsula. This fact indicates insufficient control by officials of the Republic of Crimea over the implementation of the RF laws for environmental protection by business owners of various forms of ownership, especially private ownership, the level of responsibility for the environment of which is very low.

Methods and algorithms for the complete processing of a post-detector low-contrast optical image (OI) of an unknown remote object obtained by ground-based optical means of observation under conditions of a complex background situation are considered. The purpose of processing is to separate and interpret at least with the help of the analyst, of the main constructive elements using the integrated indicators introduced in [6] and the characteristics of the analyzed OI, which are connected by the information, topological and metric structures of the OI. The stages of processing the OI include extracting the image-containing information object of the image portion (detection) and filtration of the OI, using recursive rank filtering. The final stages of processing include the segmentation of the OI and the allocation on it constructive elements using the apparatus of graph theory. An example of image processing of a Spot-5 spacecraft obtained in real conditions is given. It is shown that in this case at the detection stage it is possible to reduce the volume of information processed at subsequent stages by 8 times, in the filtration process to increase the compactness of the OI and to increase its connectivity in comparison with the post-detection OI. As a result of segmentation and allocation of constructive elements, three structural elements that can be interpreted as a spacecraft case and two remote panels can be identified with the analyst’s participation.

Studying the historical facts of past wars and armed conflicts and natural and man-made emergencies, today in the Republic of Kazakhstan one of the most important security issues is the preparation and organization of the evacuation of the population from possible dangerous zones, taking into account the emergence of new threats to the country’s security. The paper presents an algorithm for constructing universal scales of the distribution function of opportunities by types of support and rebuilding them into subject scales using display functions. The purpose of the paper is to determine the integral indicators characterizing the possibility of accommodation of the evacuated population and the impact on resources during relocation. On the subject scales of cities and districts of the region, indicators of the possibility of relocation of a certain amount of the evacuated population by types of support and indicators characterizing the impact on the district’s resources during resettlement of a certain amount of the evacuated population are determined. It was concluded that the use of integrated indicators allows the selection of areas to accommodate the evacuated population without the use of statistical data, in conditions of incomplete and inaccurate information. The presented method does not replace traditional methods based on classical methods of territory assessment by the level of life sustenance, but also allows their reasonable combination with the experience of specialists in this field, taking into account the incompleteness, uncertainty, and inconsistency of the initial data of the study area, which does not allow the application of existing methods.

The article presents a thorough explanation of the concepts defining the well-being of life and proposes, on the basis of various authors’ research and trials, a generalised and complex understanding of the quality of life and a systemic concept of the quality of life. The article discusses the integrated indicators of the quality of life as used by international scientific and consulting institutions, methodologies and the taken measurements of the quality of life, presents international comparisons of indicators of the quality of life. On the basis of the system of indicators of the quality of life as offered by the authors, a change in the well-being of life of the Lithuanian population and its quality during the period of functioning of the market is analysed, and the principal positive and negative factors which affected the quality of life of the population in the period of 2000-2008 are identified.p>

The aim: To improve epidemiological monitoring of pertussis by analyzing the disease morbidity during 1995-2017 in Ukraine, to make a prognosis. Materials and methods: Analysis of the pertussis morbidity during 1995-2017 using the data of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. The cyclicity was determined by Fourier spectral analysis. The models of prognosis were constructed using polyharmonic regression and an exponential smoothing algorithm. Cartographic analysis and integrated indicators (multiyear index of the prevalence rate, mean square deviation, mean the multiyear pace of the gain in the prevalence rate) were used to determine the areas of risk. Summarized data were used to calculate the generalized coefficient. Results: The pertussis morbidity cycle has 5 years intervals in Ukraine. The prognosis is for increasing the pertussis morbidity from 4.91-5.54 to 5.48-7.06 per 100.000 people. The generalized coefficient was significantly higher in western part (83.3%) than in central (50.0%) and eastern (16.6%) parts. The study showed that population reproduction rates, natural population increase, and the proportion of people against vaccination were higher in the western part than in other parts of the country. Conclusions: The pertussis cyclicity depends on the internal mechanisms of interaction in the ecological system. There is a prognosis of worsening the epidemic situation of pertussis spreading. The risk area is the western part of Ukraine, which is characterized by active demographic processes and a greater number of people who are negative about vaccination.

In article the various integrated indicators used at this stage of genesis of the concept of safety allowing to carry out, with a certain share of convention, monitoring of key parameters of economic security of economic system of Russia are considered. The attention to need of the comprehensive analysis of a big range of indicators on this perspective and synthesis from them priority which excess of critical levels causes emergence of the whole range of threats is focused, and their restriction demands expeditious state intervention – development of complex strategy of safety.

There were 40 patients with a metabolic syndrome with erectile dysfunction under observation. All patients received physiotherapy exercises, psychotherapeutic correction of a sex disadaptation, epicutaneous electrical stimulation of cavernous bodies of a penis and muscles of a pelvic bottom, and acupuncture according to specially developed scheme. It is proved that the combination of medical methods provides duration of therapeutic effect after course of treat-ment. Normalization of integrated indicators of the International index of erectile function came at 72,5% of patients. Vegetative indicators reached values of norm at 72,5% of patients, normalization of volume of a prostate came at 72,5% of patients, a prostate hemodynamic – at 70% of patients. The penil hemodynamic was normalized at 72,5% of patients. Normalization of functional activity hypothalamic – adrenal and testicular system came at 70% of patients. Components of a copulative cycle reached values of norm at 70% of patients. Carbohydrate metabolism was normalized at 75%, lipide – at 72,5%, biochemical markers of endothelial dysfunction – at 72,5% of patients, the index of exacerbations of a metabolic syndrome decreased by 1,9 times. The remote results of therapeutic effect in 1 year after treatment showed that appreciable improvement was observed at 55%, improvement – at 25%, without improvement – at 20% of patients.

Abstract The economic and environmental performances of agriculture intercropping depend on the complementarities between the crops that make up the system. The objective of this work was to analyze the citrus-based intercropping systems in the Coastal Tablelands region of Northeastern Brazil, aiming to identify the associations of crops with better economic and environmental performances. The study started with the construction of a set of integrated indicators, with which the field information was recorded and the performance indices calculated, based on three principles: Profitability, Productive Efficiency, and Biological Regulation. Citrus orchards in monoculture resulted in lower environmental economic performance indices. The intercropping systems that yielded the best environmental and economic performance indices in the citrus orchards were: cassava; cassava, corn and beans; corn and pumpkin. The indicators associated with these economic-environmental performances were profit, seasonality, productive diversity, profit evenness, plant health control impact level, and efficiency in the use of water, nitrogen, and phosphate.
