Abstract Fig tree (Ficus carica L.) stands out due to its range of cultivation and easy adaptation to diverse edaphoclimatic conditions. In addition to its adaptability, fruits have nutraceutical characteristics and are used in industry and for fresh consumption, widely appreciated by the world cuisine. Due to lack of manpower and phytosanitary problems, the area planted in Brazil has decreased recently. To overcome these obstacles, the production of quality seedlings is the first step to obtaining productive and healthy orchards. Therefore, the aim of the present literature review was to gather data referring to advances in research related to the fig tree propagation. Currently, the methods found for fig tree propagation consist of seedling production, where entomophilic or vegetative pollination occurs. Commercially, the propagation method by cutting is still the most used for this crop; however, other methods can also be used, such as the use of burrs or plunging and grafting techniques and tissue culture. Although there is a diversity of propagation methods and new technologies being developed, cuttings remain the most feasible method. In addition, obtaining healthy and quality seedlings is one of the main problems currently found in ficiculture, since, in addition to the scarcity of studies related to propagation, the use of resistant cultivars and pathogen-free substrates should be prioritized due to susceptibility of fig trees to nematodes. Thus, further studies should be carried out in order to seek new information on the cultivars most adapted to each locality, as well as improvements in propagation and cultivation techniques.

The increase of political disaffection in Spain, as is occurring in many western democracies across the world, coincides with a growing vindication of democracy on the part of the citizenry, which translates to a demand for more governmental transparency and access to information. With this in mind, this chapter explores the availability of information in local public administrations on social media. The study analyses the presence of town and city councils throughout Andalusia on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube, examining how these media are managed and their effects, by studying the content and resources provided to the citizens for interacting with the institutions. The results revealed that although the selected councils tried to adopt these new information channels, they are still far from taking full advantage of the possibilities the new technologies could provide.

O presente trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar o desempenho propagativo de estacas semilenhosas de variedades de figueira, com o uso de ácido indolbutírico. As variedades avaliadas foram Roxo de Valinhos, White Genova, PI – 189 e Troiano e a dosagem empregada do ácido indolbutírico foi 2000 mg L-1. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi o inteiramente ao acaso, em esquema fatorial 4 x 2 (variedades x com e sem aplicação do regulador vegetal), com cinco repetições e dez estacas por parcela experimental. Foram avaliadas a porcentagem de estacas vivas, de estacas enraizadas e de estacas brotadas, número de brotos, comprimento da maior raiz (cm), número de folhas, volume da raiz (cm3), peso seco da raiz (mg) e peso seco das folhas (mg). As estacas que não receberam a aplicação do regulador vegetal tiveram maior porcentagem de estacas vivas, enraizadas e brotadas, com exceção das variedades Roxo de Valinhos e Troiano, que não apresentaram diferença na aplicação. Mediante esses resultados, foi possível concluir que não é recomendado o uso do ácido indolbutírico para essas variedades, na época de coleta das estacas correspondente ao mês de agosto.PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Ficus carica L., propagação, regulador de crescimento FIG TREE VARIETIES CUTTINGS ROOTING USING INDOLEBUTYRIC ACID ABSTRACT: The present study aimed to evaluate the propagative performance of fig trees cuttings with application of indolebutyric acid (IBA). The evaluated varieties were “Roxo of Valinhos, White Genova, PI -189 and Troiano and the dosage of indolebutyric acid used was 2000 mg L-1. The experimental design used was entirely random, in factorial scheme 4 x 2 (varieties x with or without application of plant regulator), with five replications and ten cuttings per plot. It was evaluated the percentage of live cuttings, rooted cuttings and sprouted cuttings, number of shoots, length of the largest root (cm), number of leaves, root volume (cm3), root dry weight (mg) and leaves dry weight (mg). The cuttings that did not receive treatment with indolebutyric acid had  higher percentage of live, rooted and sprouted cuttings, except for  Roxo of Valinhos” and Troiano varieties, which showed no difference among treatments . Based on the results, it is possible to conclude that the use of indolebutyric acid for such varieties is not recommended in August, month of  cuttings harvest in this study. Furanocoumarins are the major phytoalexins of Ficus carica and are effective natural drug candidates for treatment of several types of cancer and skin disease. The objectives of this study were to analyze and quantify linear furanocoumarins, mainly psoralen and bergapten, in wood and bark of stems from eight Algerian varieties of fig and to establish the differences in the content of these metabolites in the eight local samples. Psoralen and bergapten contents in the stem bark and wood (in μg/g DW) varied respectively from 146.6 to 1110.3 and from 395.7 to 1671.8 for psoralen, and from 114.3 to 524.0 and from 144.2 to 718.6 for bergapten. This study fills a gap in our knowledge of furanocoumarin distribution in different parts of the fig tree. Psoralen and bergapten concentrations were higher in the wood than in the stem bark. Most of the dark fruited fig trees produce these two coumarins more than the green ones.

The organization of follow-up in the distribution of tourists is one of the most important tasks of the fastest-growing business. Significant changes will be seen by the rest of the world in the sphere of organizing the distribution of those who visit the tourist enterprises of Ukraine. The price is linked with a number of reasons: suspicion of information about foreign resorts; development of the cultural and cultural level of the population; in the introduction of new technologies in the industry of rozvag; changes in the structure of the victorious hour; activization of the concert performance of professional theaters, cinemas and estradi. The main criterion of sports and health animation is regular, mass participation of tourists and vacationers in the animation programs offered by the tourist enterprise, increase of satisfaction of the tourist with quality of service, creation of positive image of the enterprise, improving effect from rest, expansion of an active tourist season. The aim of the article is a theoretical analysis of the types, functions and features of the organization of sports and recreation animation in tourism. Tourist animation has three main recreational functions: therapeutic, health and cognitive. Of these, directly performs two: sports and health and cognitive. Indirectly, under appropriate conditions, the therapeutic function is performed. In the practice of animation activities for the targeted design of animation programs, the functions of recreational tourist animation are differentiated into: adaptive - allows you to move from everyday to free, permissive; compensatory - frees a person from physical and mental fatigue of everyday life; stabilizing - creates positive emotions and stimulates mental stability; health - aimed at restoring and developing the physical strength of man, weakened in everyday life; information - allows you to get new information about the country, region, people, etc; educational - allows you to get and consolidate as a result of vivid impressions of new knowledge about the world around you; improving - brings intellectual and physical improvement; advertising - gives the opportunity through animation programs to make a tourist a carrier of advertising about the country, region, tourist complex, hotel, travel agency

Research background: The world will change radically after the COVID-2019 pandemic. The transformation of financial globalization is already taking place. It contributes to the emergence of new international relation’s forms, institutions, technologies of interaction. All these trends necessitate a revision of the basic Ukraine concepts on convergent integration into the international financial space. Purpose of the article: To identify effects of financial globalization in Ukraine and characteristics of digital human interaction; to define an expansion of digital health principles for the elimination of the population’s cognitive skills atrophy and to offer new information convergence technology, financial autonomy and identity of the country in global financial market. Methods: The methods of divergence and convergence, rationality and irrationality – to find effective tools for regulating international financial relations in Ukraine; methods of cognitive data analysis – to determine forms, directions of Ukrainian society digital hygiene; conceptualization of consequences and duality of results evaluation – for clarity of reflection of a modern development condition for а society emotional intelligence and levelling of Ukraine dependence on financial hedonism in the world. Findings & Value added: This search for regulation methods is based on a hybrid combination of global professional achievements in the regulation of financial markets, author’s work, applied projects to stabilize the financial system and priority measures to balance the development of the national economy of Ukraine. This approach will increase the effectiveness of financial relations and solving socio-economic problems at the national and international levels, while ensuring the achievement of national priorities and interests.

Implementation of digital economy tools in the new information environment is a catalyst for innovative development of the economic environment of the state as a whole. It is obvious that not all the available opportunities and resources for the development of the digital economy have found their vectors of implementation, many of them have not been studied sufficiently and haphazardly, the existing potential and prospects have not been disclosed.Understanding of the need to develop elements of the digital economy has come to a head in the Russian economic and legal environment, as evidenced by the development and implementation of priority areas of the strategy of scientific and technological development of Russia. The mentioned problems determine the relevance of the research study of the possibilities of applying the positive foreign experience of digitalization of the economy in domestic practice. The paper provides an overview of the main categories of the digital economy, examines the features of its widespread distribution in the countries of the world, assesses the opportunities and prospects for the development of digitalization in Russia. New technologies, criteria and approaches to assessing the level of the digital economy, its institutionalization require effective regulation and management.

We have witnessed a slow but steady decline in electron microscopy (EM) skills in the biological sciences over the last decade. This decline is illustrated by the continued closures of EM facilities throughout the world. It is, however, difficult to rationalize this decline when the need for these skills is still under a constant demand. Certainly, the introduction of new microscopes has played a part in this. High-resolution confocal light microscopes, two photon imaging and other new technologies are providing impressive amounts of new information on biological systems. Many of these approaches require simple preparation protocols providing information that can be easily interpreted and are thus easily adapted to fast-moving research.The application of EM techniques is also deceivingly simple. For this reason the field of immunocytochemistry is undergoing an increase in popularity. Laboratories with little or no previous experience in EM are discovering the impressive and convincing results achievable using these high-resolution methods.

Allah S.W.T swears by the fig tree (Sura’ 95, al-Tin) in the holy Quran, for its values and practices. Recently, the fig tree (Ficus carica L.) has been introduced in Malaysia’s tropical weather as it grows well with maximum activity. Its root favors a well-drained type of soil, and since BRIS (Beach Ridges Interspersed with Swales) are dominated by sandy texture with proper water percolation, it has a high potential for fig planting. However, BRIS is known to have low nutrient holding capacity but can be improved with organic amendments. This study was carried out to determine the effects of various rates of chicken manure as amendments in improving the BRIS soil health for the growth of fig trees. The BRIS soil was amended with different rates of 10% (T2), 20% (T3), 30% (T4), and 50% (T5) of chicken manure and 0% (T1) as control. Three months old saplings were propagated through hardwood cuttings of variety BTM6 with five replications in each treatment. The growth response and nutrients quality of the fig trees were observed biweekly for three months after the transplant, and the nutrient contents of amended and non-amended showed significant differences at p<0.05. The survivability of the trees was 100%, and a significant difference was found between the treatments. BRIS soil with 40% chicken manure amendments (T4) showed superlative growth response with the highest number of branches, leaves, and fruits, thus provide higher yield production as compared to other treatments. From this study, BRIS soil that is known to be problematic can be improved with correct rates of organic amendments and can be used for fig cultivation.

Only recently it became possible to expand scanning electron microscopy to low vacuum and atmospheric pressure through the introduction of several new technologies. In principle, only the specimen is provided with a controlled gaseous environment while the optical microscope column is kept at high vacuum. In the specimen chamber, the gas can generate new interactions with i) the probe electrons, ii) the specimen surface, and iii) the specimen-specific signal electrons. The results of these interactions yield new information about specimen surfaces not accessible to conventional high vacuum SEM. Several microscope types are available differing from each other by the maximum available gas pressure and the types of signals which can be used for investigation of specimen properties.Electrical non-conductors can be easily imaged despite charge accumulations at and beneath their surface. At high gas pressures between 10-2 and 2 torr, gas molecules are ionized in the electrical field between the specimen surface and the surrounding microscope parts through signal electrons and, to a certain extent, probe electrons. The gas provides a stable ion flux for a surface charge equalization if sufficient gas ions are provided.
