Abstract Retail florist activities are essential elements in the rose (Rosa spp.) market since they generate significant income and employment. In these jobs, florists gain recognition by their designs that captivate consumers. At the same time, they are key entrepreneurs in the commercialization of roses. Then, the objective of the research was to know the entrepreneurial role of florists in the commercialization of roses (Rosa spp.) in southern Veracruz, Mexico. An exploratory research was conducted in flower shops, five in Coatzacoalcos, nine in Minatitlán and six in Acayucan. Interviews were conducted with florists (n = 20). The categories of analysis used were the demographic, psychosocial and sociocultural profile of the florists as innovative entrepreneurs. In regards to the demographic profile, these economic agents have the experience and knowledge necessary to develop their activity. In short, florists are identified as family micro-enterprises with establishments that are 20 years old. In the psychosocial profile, florists present low innovative capacity with respect to the composition of their floral arrangements; however, they are characterized as risk takers with the ability to solve problems. Finally, the sociocultural profile demonstrates the florists-intermediary-producers collaboration; such entrepreneurial activity generates economic incentives with local-regional influence. Therefore, florists need to strengthen their links with other florists, producers and distributors to improve their innovative capabilities that will benefit both themselves and consumers.

Mediation can be defined as a process where a neutral third party seeks to facilitate communication between the disputing parties to help them arrive at an amicable solution of their disputes culminating in a win-win situation for the parties. Though ‘... there is no single limiting definition of mediation, in part because mediators function in accordance with different philosophies and in statistically different ways’, the most commonly accepted definitions of mediation incorporate two essential elements: ‘(1) third-party facilitation of dispute settlement, and (2) lack of third-party power to determine the resolution of the dispute.’ The central focus of mediation is based on the principle of parties’ self-determination. To further this basic principle, the role of a mediator must be well defined. Looking at mediation from a historical perspective, mediation was confined to the facilitative role of a neutral third party. Gradually, however, there came a sharp divide amongst the existing mediators as regards the scope of intervention by a mediator in the mediation proceedings. At one end of the broad spectrum of a mediator’s role, lies his or her active role as an evaluator and at the other, that as a facilitator of communication between the parties. These two positions are, however, in contrast with each other and hence, the debate as to the most suitable role of a mediator’s intervention in the process. In part II(a) of the present paper I attempt to portray the distinction between mediators and decision-makers. Because of the emergence of evaluative forms in mediation. In part II(b) I sketch the differences between the approaches taken by the facilitative and the evaluative mediators. In part III I try to indicate the dangers posed when mediators strive to put on the evaluative cloak and finally and in part IV I sum up the paper with an appropriate conclusion.

Throughout its entire history Russian tax system has been built on the prevalence of indirect taxation. In the Russian tax system such taxes account for more than 60 % and their level and amount has a significant impact on the economy. The ratio between direct and indirect taxes is one of the indicators of the quality of the tax system. Unlike direct indirect taxes increase the formed price of products (goods, works, services), the final payer of indirect taxes is the buyer. Indirect taxes have a more complex impact on economic processes through pricing, both at the macro level and at the micro level. We defined the role of indirect taxes in the regulation of processes at the micro level, namely, the functioning of economic agents in the course of their production, distribution, consumer, and exchange activities. The research found the following microeconomic effects of indirect taxes: changes in supply and demand; deformation of the behavior of economic agents; decrease in entrepreneurial activity; the emergence of an additional factor of production. The study also showed possible consequences of the increase in the rates of indirect taxes for the country's economy.

Spectrin is a membrane associated protein most of which properties have been tentatively elucidated. A main role of the protein has been assumed to give a supporting structure to inside of the membrane. As reported previously, however, the isolated spectrin molecule underwent self assemble to form such as fibrous, meshwork, dispersed or aggregated arrangements depending upon the buffer suspended and was suggested to play an active role in the membrane conformational changes. In this study, the role of spectrin and actin was examined in terms of the molecular arrangements on the erythrocyte membrane surface with correlation to the functional states of the ghosts.Human erythrocyte ghosts were prepared from either freshly drawn or stocked bank blood by the method of Dodge et al with a slight modification as described before. Anti-spectrin antibody was raised against rabbit by injection of purified spectrin and partially purified.

It has been almost universally adopted that dissolution of solids proceeds with development of uniform, continuous frontiers of reaction. However this point of view is doubtful / 1 /. E.g. we have proved the active role of the block (grain) boundaries in the main phases of cement, these boundaries being the areas of hydrate phases' nucleation / 2 /. It has brought to the supposition that the dissolution frontier of cement particles in water is discrete. It seems also probable that the dissolution proceeds through the channels, which serve both for the liquid phase movement and for the drainage of the incongruant solution products. These channels can be appeared along the block boundaries. In order to demonsrate it, we have offered the method of phase-contrast impregnation of the hardened cement paste with the solution of methyl metacrylahe and benzoyl peroxide. The viscosity of this solution is equal to that of water.

While the use of vinegar to fi ght against infections and other crucial conditions dates back to Hippocrates, recent research has found that vinegar consumption has a positive effect on biomarkers for diabetes, cancer, and heart diseases. Different types of vinegar have been used in the world during different time periods. Vinegar is produced by a fermentation process. Foods with a high content of carbohydrates are a good source of vinegar. Review of the results of different studies performed on vinegar components reveals that the daily use of these components has a healthy impact on the physiological and chemical structure of the human body. During the era of Hippocrates, people used vinegar as a medicine to treat wounds, which means that vinegar is one of the ancient foods used as folk medicine. The purpose of the current review paper is to provide a detailed summary of the outcome of previous studies emphasizing the role of vinegar in treatment of different diseases both in acute and chronic conditions, its in vivo mechanism and the active role of different bacteria.

Abstract Confidence is one of the most essential elements which no social or professional group can exist without. As feature of character it is required in someone’s private, social and professional life. In all our relationships we lose it due to telling lies. Lies accompany our personal life on all its stages. Already three-year old children tell lies to satisfy their parents, check whether they are able to realize they are deceived or to demonstrate their dominance over them. Teachers and ethicists differentiate between useful didactic lies and ruthless and cynical comments harmful to others. Because of emotional ties and close relationships, a family is the best environment where a child should be taught to despise lies and respect trust
