The number of women involved with drugs is increasing, and the same is true for violence against them. Many of these women are mothers. This study aimed to investigate how mothers of children between one month and six years old who are living in a context of drugs and violence and are receiving treatment for drug addiction interpret their experience as mothers. This article is part of a multicenter study in Colombia and Brazil and discusses the results of interviews with 6 Colombian mothers. Focused ethnography was used and the interviews were submitted to latent content analysis. Violence was present in the participants' socio-cultural context and drugs consumption in their family of origin. These aspects possibly induced them to become addicted to drugs and influenced their mothering role. Overall, the mothers expressed ambivalence about their role in that they idealized being mothers but were aware that they were addicted mothers.

This paper describes the role of women in unifying the nation associated with Islamic perspectives. The role of women in various sectors of the nation's life is an urgent need. Many things women can do for the benefit of nation and state. Women have been suggested as male subordination, marginalized and difficult self-actualizing well. Patterns of power and status that assume that men are higher than women are very influential on the pattern of gender relations. Not a few policies and regulations are born on the perception. It is therefore not surprising that in the community there is a gender ideology that seeks to fundamentally dismantle policies and regulations that are not considered gender-sensitive. Cultural context always puts women as second class people. Women are more required to fulfill obligations regardless of rights, used to struggle to become human beings who exist in their community. Such social construction makes women more patient, testable and istiqomah in the fight for peace, harmony and unity mission.

AbstractThis paper is the result of a partnership between the library and the RD&I sector of Embrapa Meio Ambiente through the content analysis method of articles of the journal Agriculturas. Feminine Authorship and Women's Education in Citius, Altius, Fortius Journal (1959-1976)This article approaches women's scientific and humanistic production in the journal Citius, Altius, Fortius. Based on several previous bibliometric and thematic studies - where the journal's epistemological orientation and ideological and editorial trajectory were analyzed - this research aims to highlight and analyze the role of women who collaborate in the journal in order to set these representations. The article deals particularly with women's conceptions as physical activity practitioners.Descriptive, comparative and content analysis techniques have been used, emphasizing ideological discourse. In conclusion we point out the disproportion of women's scientific production, which shows males' dominant position in physical activity studies at that time. The very female authors' perspective about sportswomen is in fact an accommodative, and even a servile, position towards the dominant physicaleducative and sport discourses.
