The article considers the increase of special physical training, in particular, speed endurance in children of middle school age who are engaged in swimming. Increasing speed endurance is currently one of the most pressing issues in classes with children in sports sections, which is extremely acute in modern swimming in general. At the beginning of the study, a test was performed, which showed no significant differences between the performance of boys in both groups, ie at the beginning of the experiment they had the same level of development of functional abilities, including speed endurance. In the course of the research the technique aimed at the development of speed endurance in middle school children was used. At the end of the experiment, it was found that the performance of the swimmers of the experimental group was significantly higher, compared with the control group (62.1 ± 0.6s) in swimming 2x50m. It was 56.2 ± 0.2 s. The significance of the differences between these indicators was 9.33. In the 25 m swim without the participation of the legs, the result of the swimmers of the experimental group was 20.3 ± 0.8 s, and in the control - 25.8 ± 1.1 s. Significance of differences was established between them (t = 4.04). There is a positive growth of sports results of young swimmers. A high increase in results was found in the Cooper test - 19%, swimming in the distances of 25 meters - 10%, 100 meters - 9%, 800 meters - 9% and 200 meters - 8%. The influence on the functional state of children during the experiment, the use in the training process of exercises that are not specific to swimmers and aimed at improving the level of development of functional abilities, which created the conditions for the most effective special physical training.

The improvement of sports performance in cadet swimmers is based on two types of training: specific (aquatic) physical training and non-specific (land-based) physical training. Considering that the swimming-specific effort is predominantly aerobic, strength development in cadet swimmers is a prerequisite for obtaining appropriate adaptation to effort and superior sports results in competitions. The purpose of this study is to develop a physical training programme purposely designed for cadet breaststroke swimmers (12-14 years old) using the specific means of fitness. The experiment was carried out from 20 January 2019 to 20 December 2019 on a sample of 24 cadet swimmers from the Dinamo School Sports Club (CSS) in Bucharest. The research subjects were distributed into two equal value groups, namely the experimental and control groups. Both groups were assessed for the 200-m event in the initial and final phases of the research. At the end of the experiment, higher values of the results were recorded for the experimental group compared to the control group. This highlights that the training programme applied to the experimental group has been more efficient due to the means used as well as their dosage. The methods and means used in the breaststroke-specific training programme guide the entire methodology of applying the independent variable. Following this research, the obtained results demonstrate that the independent variable of the study produces significant increases in physical training, which have been successfully transferred to the competitive events performed in the water environment.

Speed and power are the most important physical components in badminton with the current rally point system. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of badminton shadow training on power and speed. This research used experimental research with randomized group pre-test and post-test design. The subjects of this study were male students IKOR unesa 2018 class which were randomly divided into experimental group 1 (K1) and experimental group 2 (K2) consisting of 10 people per group. K1 group was given badminton shadow training with 1: 1 interval training method and K2 group with 1: ½ interval training method with 15 seconds training time. The power test is performed using jump MD and the speed test is carried out with a 30 Meter sprint test. Paired t test results were significant (p <0.05) on power (p = 0.035) and speed (p = 0.006) at K1, whereas at K2 were also significant at power (p = 0,000) and speed (p = 0.014). Independent sample t test results were not significant at the power (p = 0.190), while the speed was also not significant (p = 0.165). In conclusion, badminton shadow training can increase power and speed with both 1:1 or 1: ½ interval training ratios. Shadow badminton training with 1: ½ interval training is more to increase power and speed because on average the results are better than shadow badminton training with 1:1 interval training.
