In the life of modern society, the definition of community has developed so that it can form a brand community, which is a community of people with an interest in the same brand. Ria Miranda Loyal Customer (RMLC) is brand community of Ria Miranda. Community members scattered throughout the territory of Indonesia caused this community divided according to their respective regions. Geographically separated does not cause the strength of this community inferior to other communities. In every community the brand community is no exception, every member has needs that can be met through their participation in the community. Members in the brand community interact to fulfill needs and develop relationships between members. A strong community is a community that can unite a variety of individuals and can meet each other's needs and on the other hand can meet the needs of other individuals. This study aims to see how the participation of RMLC community members and the use of Instagram as a social media that supports community interaction. The results showed that interaction in the community occurred through the participation of community members consisting of member-to-member interactions and member-activity involvement. This is demonstrated through interpersonal communication done between members of the community and the involvement of members in activities organized by the community. Participation in interacting with each member can foster stronger ties between community members. Instagram plays an important role as a social media that members use to meet their needs in terms of sharing information related to brand products and references on product use. Likes and comments as an Instagram feature help build closer relationships between community members. Conservation of cultural heritage requires a critical understanding of the significance, condition, and complexity of a place. Documentation is an essential element in building this understanding. It is a critical component of the conservation planning process and provides a long-term foundation for the monitoring, maintenance, and management of a site. Equally important, good documentation ensures that knowledge of heritage places will be passed onto future generations. Good conservation of our cultural heritage is based on informed decisions. The information needed to make these decisions is, in part, obtained through the use of documentation and recording tools. Knowledge of these tools and their use is readily available; however, many of the decision makers are unaware, uninformed, or unconvinced of their benefits. Several reasons for this include a misunderstanding of the tools and techniques or intimidation by technology or language. There is no universally accepted definition of photogrammetry.

A group decision-making process is introduced by utilizing the influence model together with a matrix of interpersonal influences and an opinion matrix. The opinion matrix is constructed with the opinions/advice from one group of experts towards the other. Experts are divided into two groups, one which has more experienced, skilled and qualified persons is known as the group of opinion leaders and the other is known as the group of opinion followers. Sometimes, decision-makers are ordinary agents and their opinion formation is profoundly influenced by opinion leaders. The truthfulness of opinion leaders and the interpersonal influences of decision-makers is also taken into account. Also, a modified definition of trust score evaluation is presented with the understanding of the fact that the maximum trust which a decision-maker can do upon some opinion leader is his/her truthfulness. On the basis of this definition, a trust score matrix is constructed and the influence model is modified to take into account that matrix.

Apropriate location of the logistics center allows entrepreneurs to significantly reduce the costs of transport. On the other hand, it has a positive impact on the development of the transport infrastructure of the region. This paper presents the practical aspects of the localization problem of logistics center with the use of a geographic information system. It shows differences between theoretical models, the needs of decision-makers, and the data available to make the necessary calculations. The results of computational experiments were introduced to illustrate the effects of this approach.

Cicero's definition of history as “the lamp of truth” can be accepted only when the events of history are recorded accurately. The writer who travesties historical facts poisons the fountain of knowledge, misrepresents the ancients, misleads his contemporaries, and deceives future generations. Mindful of his responsibility the faithful historian is exact in his narrative, avoiding undue panegyric on the one hand, and on the other rash denunciation. He regards history as a science in which truth is dissociated from falsehood; an art by means of which past events are to be recorded so as to produce a present interest.

Abstract The concept of older adult is extensively used in day-to-day discussions and public policy. Nonetheless, concrete operational definitions are scarce. This poses a challenge for policymakers when designing initiatives targeted to this population. Chronological age has been traditionally used as the sole criteria for identifying older people (OP). However, there is no consensus about what is the age that should define an elderly. The issue became evident when, in 2018, the Chilean Ministry of Health started a planning process to coordinate health initiatives for OP. Two thresholds had been commonly used—60 and 65 years—and the differences between choosing one and the other were significant. This article intends to structure the debate around age thresholds and the definition of OP in Chile, presenting information and evidence to guide decision-makers when deciding about the issue. Information was based on international guidelines and definitions, laws and practice in the country and epidemiological data. The analysis shows a lack of consensus when dealing with the definition of OP using age thresholds at every level. Results highlight the difficulty of using age as a guide for designing policies for OP and call for a more holistic way for identifying OP as beneficiaries of targeted programmes, considering the heterogeneity of this population and the availability of information. This debate is much needed in many countries that, like Chile, will experience significant demographic changes and face the challenges of healthy ageing.

During the past investigations of immunoferritin localization of intracellular antigens in ultrathin frozen sections, we found that the degree of negative staining required to delineate u1trastructural details was often too dense for the recognition of ferritin particles. The quality of positive staining of ultrathin frozen sections, on the other hand, has generally been far inferior to that attainable in conventional plastic embedded sections, particularly in the definition of membranes. As we discussed before, a main cause of this difficulty seemed to be the vulnerability of frozen sections to the damaging effects of air-water surface tension at the time of drying of the sections.Indeed, we found that the quality of positive staining is greatly improved when positively stained frozen sections are protected against the effects of surface tension by embedding them in thin layers of mechanically stable materials at the time of drying (unpublished).

A warm welcome to our "World of Difference" to all delegates attending this conference - we hope your stay is enjoyable and that you will leave Central Otago with an enhanced appreciation of the diversity of land use and the resilient and growing economic potential that this region has to offer. Without regional wellbeing the national economy will struggle to grow, something Central Government finally seems to be realising, and the Central Otago District Council Long Term Plan 2012-2022 (LTP) signals the importance of establishing a productive economy for the local community which will aid in the economic growth of the district and seeks to create a thriving economy that will be attractive to business and residents alike. Two key principles that underpin the LTP are sustainability and affordability, with the definition of sustainability being "… development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs."

The article reveals the main features of the competence approach in the practice of European public administration. The features of the competence approach in public administration are determined on the basis of analysis of the basic concepts of public administration. In the dynamics of the formation and development of popular theories of interaction between state and local authorities, such as the theory of a free community, community (public) and public and state (the theory of municipal dualism), we can trace a number of characteristic features of a competency approach, which manifests itself both through the general theoretical relations and manifestations, and through the practice of coexistence of public authorities. There is a problem of definition and distribution of public functions as a prerequisite for defining and shaping the competences of public institutions. An important issue in the context of a competent approach is the institutional consolidation of functions in the context of the existence of the basic models of territorial organization of power. In each of the varieties of the Governance concept (Responsive Governance concept, Democratic Governance concept, Good Governance concept), the specifics of the use of competencies are defined. The archetypal symbols in the European public administration are singled out using the analysis of competence in public administration in its main constituents. A brief description of the archetypal aspect of European public administration is given. The main components of competence are shown in connection with the existing archetypal symbols and the characteristic trends of their development. Their connection is shown according to the scheme “the entity component (who?) — the object component (what?) — the administrative component (how?) — the basis (in what environment?)”. Concerning the trends of development of a competence approach in the context of practice and theory of public administration, it is determined that modern concepts of public administration are characterized by shifting the balance between state and public institutions to the sphere of common goals and tasks, and thus responsibility. The joint activity of all subjects of society requires new forms of cooperation, definition of the spheres and subjects of each entity’s activity for effective cooperation, distribution of functions and competences of the entities, formation and consolidation of their status characteristics.
