The cultivation of cross-cultural awareness for primary students is a key point in the English class. Apart from the traditional method, schema theory will be a new way for it. This paper investigates the current situation of primary school and analyses the problems in class. It explores the effective methods under the schema theory and provides relevant suggestions.

<p>Reading is an important skill in learning English. However, reading class is not emphasized in some primary schools in China, and there are various problems with the reading activities, which inadequately just focus on teaching of words, sentences separately from texts. This paper aims to bring out a whole system of principles in designing flexible English reading activities to help students form a good reading habit, apply reading skills, use language learned pragmatically and be familiar with the cultures covered in read materials. At last, some examples are offered to demonstrate how to implement these principles so as to enhance reading for Primary school students effectively.</p>

The study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of a training program to reduce stuttering disorders in primary school students in Ajloun schools in Jordan. Five dimensions of stuttering disorders were identified. Third grade students in Ajloun Elementary Boys School were distributed equally to experimental and control group. Ij study, there is statistically significant in all disorders of the dimensions of stuttering in the third grade primary students are differences in the two measurements prior and subsequent to the performance of the control and experimental groups students due to the training program used in the study, for the experimental group, which underwent a program to reduce the severity of stuttering students.

This study aims to produce a model of basic throw through games which is useful for teachers in giving lessons to primary school students. This development model is a procedural development, because it is in accordance with the problem to be solved and the objectives to be achieved. The procedure used includes five main stages, namely: 1) conducting an analysis of the product you want to develop, 2) making an initial product of a model of basic throw through games for primary students, 3) expert validation, 4) field testing, and 5) product revision. The data are qualitative and quantitative data, while the instruments are list question and observations. Data analysis uses percentages to analyze and subject ratings to assess the feasibility, quality and acceptability of the product. The research study in a model of basic throw through games for primary students along with the development of infrastructure, regulations, and playing techniques. The model for developing basic throw through this game is proven to be feasible, of quality, then acceptable for developing the concept skills of game motion and increasing the physical fitness of primary school students, because respondents when playing ball show that the average category is quite good, meaning that this development model is average - can be demonstrated.

Background and Purpose: Recently, human impacts on marine ecosystems have intensified as the population and pressures increase. Human-originated pollutants of all kinds have impacted the oceans and the marine ecosystems. Oil spills, sewage, plastics, chemicals, garbage, carbon dioxide, and overfishing are the most challenging issues. It is known that school students are the future generation; they receive their information at school. Therefore, it is essential to assess students' knowledge and awareness regarding ocean related issues.   Methodology: This study investigated ocean literacy (OL) of primary school students at international schools in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, based on the seven principles of ocean literacy. Resources from which children get information about the oceans was also investigated. Finally, the study investigated the attitudes of primary school students towards learning oceanography, protecting the oceans, and the relationship between humans and the environment. A questionnaire had been adapted from the Survey of Ocean Literacy and Experience (SOLE) and the Survey of Ocean Stewardship (SOS). The SOLE and SOS surveys had been developed originally by Greely (2008). However, due to the grade level of students and time issues, the number of questionnaire items were reduced and simplified. The questionnaire was distributed in two separate sessions. Students from three international schools, boys' sections, received the survey. 120 students answered the SOLE, and 102 students answered the SOS.   Findings: Results indicated a rather moderate level of ocean literacy of participants with a mean score of 12.56 (SD= 5.18) concerning the SOLE, and a mean score of 3.30 (SD= 1.12) concerning the SOS. As for the resource of information, results indicated the education program to be the students’ main source of education, television channels came second.   Contributions: Students of Riyadh international primary schools showed a positive attitude toward ocean stewardship. The study can help policy makers, curriculum developers and textbook authors to better understand the level of ocean literacy among students and take decisions to develop school curricula especially in the efforts to align with UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021-2030). In order to use TPR teaching method effectively in primary school English class, this paper uses the experiment method, two groups of students from Experimental primary school in Hongdong County of Linfen City are selected as the experimental subjects. In the process of the experiment, one group of students are taught by the TPR teaching method, another group of students are taught by the common traditional teaching method. The data from this experiment shows that the TPR teaching method is a more effective method. On the basis of the above research, this paper comes to a conclusion that the use of TPR teaching method will greatly enhance the students’ learning efficiency. Through the research of this paper, the author hopes to deepen teachers’ understanding of the TPR teaching method, the teacher can use the TPR method to carry on the teaching in the class and help students to learn effectively.

In maths classrooms at every level in all countries of the world, students can be observed solving problems. The quality and genuineness of these maths problems has been the theme of many arguments and debates in recent years.In this article we are going to show and compare the performance of primary school students using our experiment. We collected 20 second-grade students and conducted a lesson with traditional way of teaching. At next lesson we had took an examination to check if our students have comprehended the material and  got the results. The next lesson they  were given tasks to pose problems related to the same topic we had learned last time and took  another exam with the same level of difficulty and a slight change of numbers and got the results as well. The change and progress of students impressed us.

This study aimed for investigating the primary students attitude toward EFL . The  study employed a quantitative design in which the data were collected by means of a survey method. The context of the study was in one of primary schools in North Bali. The survey questionnaire was developed based on Wutz and Wedwick (2005) which shows the aspects of attitude. It can was found out that the primary students’ demonstrate moderate attitude toward EFL. They were neither notably motivated nor unmotivated in learning English as a Foreign Language at school. This needs further studies to explore factors that could improve the quality of EFL classes in primary schools

Cultural models theory is one of the most important theories in cognitive linguistics. This paper briefly introduces the theory of cultural models in cognitive linguistics, analyses the current situation of cross-cultural awareness teaching in primary school, and further discusses the significance of cultural models theory in the cultivation of cross-cultural awareness in primary school English teaching. This theory provides a tool for teachers to cultivate pupils' cross-cultural awareness, so teachers can effectively introduce cultural factors into primary school English teaching.

Child abuse impedes an individual personality and leaves mark on the heart of an individual eventually and affects the growth and development. The children are most vulnerable and can be easily exploits. Child Abuse refers to the action which hurt or harms children in terms physical, emotional, sexual etc. The study was intended to find out the status and perceived attitude towards the child abuse among upper primary school students of Kolhapur city. A descriptive survey was conducted and the data was collected from 221 Upper Primary School students using structured questionnaire of child abuse. The findings of study were parents do not talk about the uncomfortable situations their child might face in absence of them along with and let the child make it know about the uncomfortable situation faced by their child to the responsible adult and the child to deal with such situations at school, movie, by doctor, friend or at a workshop. This is serious concern as parents must make aware about child abuse among their wards and Most of the Boys and Girls don’t know what to do if they will have to face any of the above mentioned situations.
