ABSTRACTThis research was initiated against the backdrop to reply to a question problems that had occurred about the extent to which the influence of the game of science on skill the process of a group of B2 in TK Perwari 1 Tasikmalaya City. In proving and analyze these problems, then the researcher uses the quantitative in pre-eksperimental with the approach one shot case study or could be called to the study the case of one shot. The subject of study were 6 child up to the age 5-6 years .The sample collection nonprobability sample using a technique that is purposive sampling. This research using a technique data collection by the use of observation and documentation. An instrument the research uses sheets of observation skills the process of science children and a record of observation science teachers in the management of learning the game. Data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative. The result of this research suggests that skills science the process was increased on each meeting starting from the meeting I of 65,27 %, meeting II of 75,69 %, and the meeting of 86,11 % III. %, with the science process skills of each indicator over three meetings as follows: (1) The observation process skills are 54.16%, 61.11%, 68, 05%; (2) classifying process skills is 47.22%, 62.5%, 69.44; (3) the skill of communicating processes 37.5%, 43.75%, 60.41%. Activities of teachers has increased, the first meeting by 61%, amounting to 91% of meeting II and III meeting of 92%. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatar belakangi untuk menjawab pertanyaan permasalahan mengenai sejauh mana pengaruh permainan sains terhadap keterampilan proses kelompok B2 TK Perwari 1 Kota Tasikmalaya. Dalam membuktikan dan menganalisis permasalahan diatas, maka peneliti menggunakan metode kuantitatif secara Pre-Eksperimental  dengan pendekatan One Shot Case Study atau bisa disebut dengan Studi Kasus Satu Tembakan. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 6 anak berusia 5-6 tahun. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Nonprobability Sampel yaitu Purposive Sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan  observasi dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi keterampilan proses sains anak dan lembar observasi guru dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran permainan sains. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis  secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa keterampilan proses sains anak ternyata mengalami peningkatan pada setiap pertemuannya dari mulai  pertemuan I sebesar 65,27%, pertemuan II sebesar 75,69%, dan pertemuan III sebesar 86,11%, dengan keterampilan proses sains  masing-masing indikator selama tiga pertemuan sebagai berikut: (1) keterampilan proses observasi adalah 54,16%, 61,11%, 68,05%; (2) keterampilan proses mengklasifikasi adalah 47,22%, 62,5%, 69,44; (3) keterampilan proses mengkomunikasikan 37,5%, 43,75%, 60,41%. Aktivitas guru mengalami peningkatan, pertemuan I sebesar 61%, pertemuan II sebesar 91 %, dan pertemuan III sebesar 92%.

The aim of the study is to investigate the attitudes of prospective science teachers towards the use of problem-based learning methods in the learning of concepts related to the subject of solids, and their opinions on its role in academic success, science process skills and the chemistry course. The study group consists of 83 prospective teachers studying in the science education undergraduate program. The experimental group and control group were determined by random sampling method. The problem-based learning method was used in the experimental group and the traditional approach was used in the control group. The experiment was carried out in a period of 5 weeks. As data collection tools; "Solid Concept Achievement Test", "Science Process Skill Test" and "The Attitude Scale toward Chemistry" were used. In the research, analysis of covariance (ANCOVA), independent t-test and statistical methods with descriptions were used. The results showed that problem-based learning is more effective than the traditional approach to understanding the concepts related to solids by prospective teachers. The differences in academic achievement between the experimental and control groups in this study were parallel with the other results reported in the literature. Also, in terms of prospective teachers' development of science process skills and attitudes towards chemistry, it was seen that there was a significant difference between the groups in favor of problem-based learning.

Abstract.  This study aimed at determining students’ achievement on science process skills  after being taught using guided discovery instruction based on Student Worksheets (LKPD) and also at finding out the influence of the instruction used in this study to the students’ science process skills. This research is a pre-experimental study with a research design that is one shut case study. The population of this study were 123 people who were spread into 4 classes. The sample in this study were 30 people who obtained based on purposive sampling technique. Based on descriptive analysis, it is obtained an average score of student mastery of 83.30 which is greather than minimum score of student’s mastery (KKM) of 75. The hypothesis testing is done using binomial test. Therefore, based on these findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of guided discovery instruction based on student worksheets (LKPD) can affect science process skills.  Keywords: science process skills, guided discovery, student worksheets Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar keterampilan proses sains peserta didik setelah diajar dengan menggunakan pembelajaran discovery terbimbing berbasis Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) dan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh keterampilan proses sains peserta didik setelah diajar dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran discovery terbimbing berbasis lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pra-eksperimen dengan  desain penelitian  one shut case study. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 123 orang yang tersebar ke dalam 4 kelas. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 30 orang yang diperoleh berdasarkan teknik pengambilan purposive sampling. Berdasarkan analisis deskriptif diperoleh nilai rata-rata 83,30 yang mana lebih besar dari pada nilai kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) yakni 75. Adapun pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji binomial. Berdasarkan pengujian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran discovery terbimbing berbasis lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD) dapat berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan proses sains.  Kata kunci: keterampilan proses sains, penemuan terbimbing, Lembar kerja peserta didik

This study examined the skills of science process in children aged 4-6 years and became the formulation of this research, the problem is how science process skills of children aged 4-5 years and 5-6 years in Santa Lusia Kindergarten Medan. This research aimed to find out how science process skills of children aged 4-6 years in Santa Lusia Kindergarten Medan. The source of the research data was from teachers in kindergarten and the subject is in learning. Based on the initial survey, the research subject in this study was 20 children with 6 children as sample. Children aged 4-5 3 children consisting of 2 boys and 1 girl and for ages 5-6  3 children consisting of 2 boys and 1 girl that divided into 3 categories, which is a child who has Active, medium and low science process skills. The research methods used qualitative descriptive. The data collection techniques were done with an in-depth observation and interview to the resource teacher, the teachers of the creative classroom Santa Lusia Kindergarten Medan. Data was analyzed by data collection, data reduction, data presentation, withdrawal of conclusions and verification. The results showed that the skills of the science process demonstrated by children aged 4-6 years was medium category. Because of the 20 children who were observed only 5 children who had active skills of science processes and 12 children had medium science skills that last there are 3 children who belong to the low science process..

This research aims to determine the technologies that pre-service science teachers prefer to use in micro teaching presentations performed for improving their teaching skills and to determine the purposes of using these technologies. For this purpose, the case study model was used in the research. The research was made with some 48 pre-service science teachers. In the research, data was collected from the presentation files the pre-service science teachers had prepared with respect to the microteaching applications, from the instructor’s observation notes on their presentations, from the view form and from the semi-structured interviews. According to the findings obtained from the research, the pre-service science teachers used computers, projection apparatuses, overhead projectors, videos, animations, simulations and microscopes the most in the microteaching applications. The pre-service science teacher’s expressed that they used technology primarily for reasons such as enhancing the comprehensibility of the subject, concretizing abstract subjects, ensuring visuality and saving time. Considering these results, some recommendations were made regarding the use of technology in science courses.

Muzara’ah is the contract between farm workers and farm owners in which, cost of cultivations, seeds, and fertilizers are provided by the farm owners, meanwhile the farm workers have responsibility in giving their best efforts on cultivating the farmland. Later then, the harvest will be shared according to the contract that has been agreed. The purpose of this research is to describe farmer’s welfare in the village of Sodo after implementing Muzara’ah Contract with the Maqashid Sharia approach. This research approach is qualitative descriptive and uses case study as its strategy. Informants in this research are administrator from Krido Tani Farmers Association, The farm workers, and the farm owners. These informants determined by using purposive sampling technique. The data collection techniques are carried out through interview and direct observation. According to the research, it was shown that agricultural cooperation with Muzara’ah Contract has a role in improving farm workers’ welfare, viewed from the indicators of Maqasid Sharia.Keywords : Muzara’ah, Welfare, Farmer, Agricultural Cooperation

This study aims to determine the application of the divergent semantic intervention method in motor transcortical aphasia clients after stroke, male gender aged 44 years at the Cibabat Regional General Hospital. The research method used is a case study research experiment which aims to determine the condition of the subject before and after intervention through therapy. Data collection was carried out through the WOTS stage, namely (1) interviews with the client's parents, (2) direct observation of the client, (3) conducting tests on the client, and (4) studying the patient's medical record document. The results of the research after doing therapy using the divergent semantic intervention method for 15 meetings obtained good results by assessing the level of words on nouns. The conclusion is that the divergent semantic intervention method has an effect on mentioning the level of objects

This research is a case study that explores the dissemination and learnings of information which takes place in a diaspora organization in Toronto, the Kutchi Cultural Association. As a community of first-generation immigrants in Canada, the informal settings and learnings within this organization play an important role in their settlement process and build a sense of shared efficacy. The diaspora gatherings become the quintessential point of community engagement where knowledge is transferred and shared. This exploratory research discovers how information and learnings flow both within the organization as well as with mainstream institutions such as the libraries, archives, and museums. It highlights a missed opportunity for mainstream institutions of engaging such diaspora organizations that play a significant role in the sharing and gathering of information, albeit veiled and unaccounted for through official means and calls for more extensive research on the subject.
