The review of domestic and foreign literature devoted to epidemiological studies of myasthenia gravis has been reviewed. The article presents data on the prevalence and incidence of myasthenia gravis in several regions of Russia and abroad. The prevalence of myasthenia gravis in the world varies, according to different authors, in a very wide range – from 2.17 to 32.0 per 100 thousand people. There are few epidemiological studies of myasthenia gravis in large cities and regions of Russia. Meanwhile, studies of the prevalence and incidence of myasthenia gravis are a necessary stage in the work to increase the effectiveness of diagnosis and treatment of this pathology, to determine the need for specialized types of medical care. The results of these studies can be used to optimize the management of myasthenia gravis patients.

AbstractThe COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in significant morbidity and mortality around the world. The spectrum of COVID-19 is broad, from clinical disease requiring intensive medical care to less severe symptoms that are treated with supportive care. The majority of COVID-19 cases fall into the mild-to-moderate category, with symptoms lasting less than 6 weeks. Nevertheless, the morbidity from COVID-19 is significant and can affect multiple body systems, most frequently the cardiac, pulmonary, hematologic, musculoskeletal, and gastrointestinal systems. For patients who wish to return to exercise after mild-to-moderate COVID-19, the wide range of disease expression presents a challenge for clinicians seeking to offer counsel. This literature review on return to activity following mild to moderate COVID-19 in the recreational athlete includes evidence-based considerations and recommendations for clinicians in guiding the safest return to activity.

India is quickly becoming one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. The rise of India as a tourist destination can be attributed to a number of factors. The growth of medical tourism in India is one of the reasons examined in this paper. Healthcare tourism is when people from all over the world fly to another country to receive medical, dental, and surgical treatment when exploring, vacationing, and completely immersing themselves in the attractions of the countries they are visiting. In the medical tourism industry, India is one of the most popular destinations. Medical tourism is experiencing rapid growth in India. Medical tourists cross foreign boundaries in search of medical care. Medical tourism has developed to become a multibillion-dollar industry. It is important to remember that the primary goal of medical tourists is to provide high-quality medical care at an affordable cost. When compared to other developing countries in the world, India has emerged as the most sought-after destination for medical tourists due to the availability of world-class doctors at affordable prices. In addition, India has a wide range of tourist destinations. It has tremendous potential for creating jobs and earning large sums of foreign currency. The paper ends with policy recommendations for advancing the rapidly growing medical tourism industry.

This review presents the literature data on classification of non-tuberculosis mycobacteria, prevalence, epidemiology, clinical picture. The analysis of the research results reveals the prevalence of mycobacteriosis in the world, the main ways of transmission. Some data of clinical recommendations of the British thoracic society (BTS) 2017 on the algorithm of examination and diagnosis of mycobacteriosis are presented. Treatment of mycobacteriosis is a difficult task, the effectiveness of therapy remains extremely low. According to the British researchers, the proportion of patients with mycobacteriosis caused by MAC, M. malmoense, M. xenopi, who received various regimens of therapy and completely completed the course of treatment with positive clinical and laboratory dynamics, as well as did not have relapses within a year after treatment, is only 28%. According to other studies involving patients with specific types of NTMB, the effectiveness of therapy ranges from 30–50% for diseases caused by M. abscessus, 50–70% for MAS and about 80–90% for M. malmoense and M. Kansasii.

Cascading disasters progress from one hazard event to a range of interconnected events and impacts, with often devastating consequences. Rain-related cascading disasters are a particularly frequent form of cascading disasters in many parts of the world, and they are likely to become even more frequent due to climate change and accelerating coastal development, among other issues. (1) Background: The current literature review extended previous reviews of documented progressions from one natural hazard event to another, by focusing on linkages between rain-related natural hazard triggers and infrastructural impacts. (2) Methods: A wide range of case studies were reviewed using a systematic literature review protocol. The review quality was enhanced by only including case studies that detailed mechanisms that have led to infrastructural impacts, and which had been published in high-quality academic journals. (3) Results: A sum of 71 articles, concerning 99 case studies of rain-related disasters, were fully reviewed. Twenty-five distinct mechanisms were identified, as the foundation for a matrix running between five different natural hazards and eight types of infrastructural impacts. (4) Conclusion: Relatively complex quantitative methods are needed to generate locality-specific, cascading disaster likelihoods and scenarios. Appropriate methods can leverage the current matrix to structure both Delphi-based approaches and network analysis using longitudinal data.

Over the last three decades, behavioural economics has been gaining ground in the research on a wide range of agriculture-related themes. This is due to the diversity of the agents involved in the production systems and the agro-food value chains in which opposing interests must be reconciled. The main objective of this study is to examine the dynamics of the research on the application of behavioural economics in agriculture across the world. To do this, a bibliometric analysis has been carried out through a literature review of the period between 1991 and 2020. The results of the study show that the use of behavioural economics has increased in the research on agriculture, particularly over the last five years. The application of behavioural economics in agriculture has focused on analysing consumers, producers, management, marketing, development, environmental issues, climate change, food and health.

Non-occlusive mesenteric ischemia is a relatively rare but extremely complex pathology in terms of diagnosis. A wide range of reasons for the development of non-occlusive impression dramatically complicates the diagnosis and differentiation with other abdominal pathology. The vast majority of publications in the domestic literature on acute disorders of mesenteric blood flow, mostly address the problems of diagnosis and treatment of occlusive types of mesenteric ischemia, while the topic of non-occlusive ischemia remains insufficiently covered. Given that in half of the cases NOMI is diagnosed at the stage of irreversible necrotic changes of the intestine – there is a real need to generalize the root causes and mechanisms of neoclustive mesenteric ischemia, modern methods of diagnosis and treatment. Purpose – to analyze of the causes, prevalence, classification, diagnosis and treatment of non-occlusive disorders of mesenteric blood flow. This research, based on literature review, showed that acute non-occlusive mesenteric ischemia (NOMI) is associated with poor prognosis due to the lack of accurate diagnostic measures. First of all, clarity regarding biochemical markers. Therefore, the research and development of the latter is seen as a priority. Contrast methods of examination (computed tomography, angiography) are the only possible diagnostic tools. Pharmacological correction is fundamental and presupposes the use of drugs with a vasodilating effect systemically or locally (catheter-associated). An important issue is the development of pharmacological agents that allow targeted action on the pathogenetic mechanisms of the development of NOMI. A multidisciplinary approach involving a specialized doctor, a surgeon, an X-ray endovascular surgeon and an intensive care physician in the treatment of a patient with suspected NOMI is the foundation for the success of therapy. The question of the use of laparoscopy remains controversial, given the invasiveness of the method and the difficulty of interpreting the changes detected in the early phase of the disease. No conflict of interests was declared by the authors. Key words: acute mesenteric ischemia, non-occlusive disorders of mesenteric blood flow.

There arc described four cases of infection of the lungs and pleura with Dirofilaria in patients infected in the Moscow region and Moscow, with clinical manifestations of recurrent exudative pleurisy, tumor-like formations in the pleura and the lungs. Non-specific clinical symptoms and clinical simulation of common known diseases render difficult the clinical and instrumental diagnosis of pleuropulmonary dirofilariasis. Currently, the best method of diagnosis and treatment of heartworm lungs and pleura is Videothoracoscopy. There are analyzed factors that contribute to the pleuropulmonary infection with Dirofilaria. There is mentioned the possibility of strain differences between Dirofilaria repens, distributed in various regions of Russia and abroad, and there are discussed the problems of treatment.

Smart cities are currently becoming the trend of large cities in the world and large cities in Indonesia. As the center of human civilization, cities cannot do without the problems of excess capacity and comfort. More and more people are migrating from the countryside to the cities, which brings new problems to the cities. Cities need to change to survive in the future. Strong indicators are needed to support cities, whether in terms of natural environment, society, communities, infrastructure, and education. In this article, we discuss a systematic literature review of research related to smart cities. The systematic literature review is divided into three stages, introduction stage, demographic analysis stage and result analysis. The results reveal important indicators of smart cities based on the conclusions of previous research

Summary: The issue of transversal malocclusions has been widely studied bymany authors around the world and researched from many perspectives: skeletal, muscular, dental andfunctional. Reports describe the different etiologies, complications and compromises ofmalocclusion, leading to a general consensus that, the sooner it is corrected, the less theirconsequences and negative effects on growth and development will be, and good results can beachieved with great long-term stability. Therefore the aim of this paper is to identify through aliterature review, the necessary tools that allow the detection, diagnosis and treatment of thesemalocclusions at an early stage and to prevent severe skeletal asymmetries. Key words: Transversalmalocclusions. Cross-bite. Unilateral posterior crossbite. Bilateral posterior. Crossbite. Planasdirect tracks. Early transverse treatment.
