The paper is devoted to the issue of assessing the range of inclusive teacher competencies by the pedagogical community and their comparative significance for achieving the required learning results by students with disabilities. The paper presents the results of an empirical study aimed at identifying the general and specific in assessing the importance of inclusive competencies of a teacher by various subjects of staffing the inclusive educational process at school. The study involved 983 pedagogical workers employed in mass and correctional schools, as well as in pedagogical universities. They were asked to assess the significance of a set of indicators of the competence of an inclusive teacher, obtained on the basis of an analysis of the texts of 59 approximate basic educational programs for the training of future specialists in the field of inclusion. The results of the study demonstrated that a holistic assessment paradigm has not been formed in the pedagogical community in relation to the inclusive competencies of a teacher, which is expressed in the divergence of the corresponding assessment positions of university teachers who train teachers, teachers of mass and special schools. This confirms the need for further development of the model of inclusive competence of a teacher, its empirical verification and subsequent implementation in educational programs of continuous teacher education in accordance with the rapidly changing conditions of professional activity of teachers in an inclusive school.

The article presents a lapidary analysis of possibilities of using the case method and the project method in the formation of professional thinking of students studying philology and journalism. We also consider the possibilities of using case technology and project method in the process of studying professionally oriented disciplines. The practical significance of the work comes down to disclosing the effectiveness of the case method and the method of projects in the process of forming professional skills. The relevance of this article is determined by modern realities of educational process at the university. The case method and the method of projects make it possible to increase the motivational component of learning and contribute to the development of teachers’ progressive thinking and students’ creative potential, both of which are necessary for professional activities. In this article we also made an attempt at revealing the essence of these methods in the educational process at bachelor’s level. They turned out to be the main methods for the formation of students’ universal and professional competencies. The project method and case method act as an integral factor in the gamification of educational process contributing to the formation of skills of expedient action, activation of thinking, instilling the skills of independent search for solutions in standard and non-standard situations that may come up in the course of professional activity. Students actively and productively master the necessary competencies while revealing their latent potential. The case method and the project method demonstrate great efficiency in improving the quality of personnel training; the specific types of their practical implementation are developed jointly during classes by university teachers and employers’ representatives. The purpose of the article is to determine the methodological potential of the case method and the method of projects in the formation of professional thinking of future philologists and journalists and to consider the possibilities of using case technology and the project method in the process of studying professionally oriented disciplines. The project method is a relevant and effective technology that significantly increases the level of mastery of educational material, the internal motivation of students and their independence. The case method initiates the development of professional thinking, independence, unconventional thinking and creativity. When faced with a formulated problem, students concentrate on finding a solution to the problem and the teacher’s skillful interpretation of the problem directs students to search for non-standard ways. Everything mentioned above leads to the development of integrative thinking and significantly expands students’ capabilities. The practice of working with the case method and the project method in the classroom confirms their effectiveness in the professional development of university students, expanding their professional horizons and the formation of professional thinking.

Introduction. The institutionalisation of inclusion in higher education determines new requirements for university teachers, what is also found in the field of psychological readiness for the implementation of the educational process with the participation of students with disabilities. Aim. The present research was aimed to develop theoretical framework and experimental verification of the model of psychological readiness of academic teaching staff for the implementation of an inclusive educational process. Methodology and research methods. Methodologically, the research was based on the idea that the true implementation of inclusive higher education is conditioned by the formation of an inclusive culture of university teachers, which serves as the foundation for the implementation of inclusive practices and policies and one of the immanent attributes of which is psychological readiness to implement the educational process with the participation of disabled students. In the diagnostic and methodological terms, the current study relied on the authors' questionnaire containing the blocks of questions built using a 5-point Likert scale and characterising the severity of the various components of such readiness among university teachers in relation to working with disabled students of diverse nosological groups. The survey results were analysed qualitatively and quantitatively using the Cronbach Alpha coefficient, Shapiro-Wilk, Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Mann-Whitney tests, and the median test applying the Pearson test. To check the consistency of the proposed theoretical model of the psychological readiness of university teachers to implement an inclusive educational process, structural equation modelling (or SEM - the method of asymptotically non-parametric assessment) was employed. For statistical calculations, the program IBM SPSS Statistics ver.23 and the AMOS module were used. Results. The integrative model of the psychological readiness of faculty for the implementation of an inclusive educational process has been theoretically substantiated and experimentally confirmed. This model includes a motivational-value component (the acceptance of the values of an inclusive culture, beliefs and attitudes of the teacher regarding inclusive education), an affective component (the emotional acceptance of the situation of inclusive education and its subjects) and an operational component (the teacher's assessment of own skills in using the tools of inclusive education). In the presented model, the teacher's methodical preparedness for teaching students with disabilities acts as a cognitive component, and the resulting component is the implementation of inclusive practice based on the willingness and ability to interact with students with disabilities. It was found that, to the greatest extent, university teachers have formed a motivational readiness to implement inclusive education, but they experience a deficit of operational skills, when working with students with disabilities. At the same time, the level of psychological readiness to implement an inclusive educational process significantly differs depending on the subject specialisation of teachers and the presence / absence of previous experience of interaction with people with disabilities. Scientific novelty. The model of the psychological readiness of teachers for the implementation of inclusive education in Russia was developed and empirically confirmed. Practical significance. The findings of this research highlight the significance of the stages of the formation of university teachers' psychological readiness for inclusive education. The following stages are determined: from providing basic methodological readiness in the framework of professional development through the creation of internal conditions for readiness for inclusive education, examining the experiences and psychological difficulties in interacting with people with disabilities, and, finally, to accompanying the actual inclusive teaching practice.

During the COVID 19 pandemic, the forced and widespread transition to distance learning has required restructuring of the entire educational process at the universities, quick adoption of new tools for work in the digital environment, and adaptation to new ways of communication in the teacher-student system. In May 2020, we conducted an anonymous online survey of the 172 Russian university teachers to determine their readiness to distance learning in conditions of self-isolation during the COVID 19 pandemic. We determine that teachers of all ages, different work experience, and various specializations have a similar (not quite successful) level of psychological state when working in a completely remote mode. We find that teachers’ self-assessment of their readiness for distance learning also has medium-low values. The teachers were not prepared to work exclusively in the remote format, regardless of their gender, age, work experience and specialization. Our analysis shows that teachers’ self-assessment of their professional skills differs between a group of young teachers that do not have PhD (which presumably have higher motivation for career growth, self-development, pursuing a PhD degree, promotion) and a group of senior teachers holding PhDs (who, at the time of the survey, had a significant professional status). Our conclusion suggests that the respondents have quite successfully overcome a high psychological burden and the need for a full transition to distance learning, which accompanied their work during the pandemic. Furthermore, we find that Russian university teachers have a high adaptive potential. A quick transition to remote mode, the need to master new technologies and forms of training did not pose any insurmountable problems for the Russian university teachers but became new motivators for their professional development. Further work requires additional research regarding the high "psychological cost" of such restructuring of consciousness and professional activity.

One of the priority areas ensuring the transformation of the higher education system is the introduction of network educational programs. The study of the methodological foundations of their design is relevant and necessary today. The research problem: characteristics of network educational programs and methodological foundations of their design to ensure maximum flexibility of the educational trajectory within the framework of network interaction. The purpose of the research is determination of the methodology for constructing effective network educational programs, based on the formation of the student's personality and his practical preparation for future professional activity through individual development. The research methods are critical analysis of pedagogical, psychological and regulatory sources, design, modeling, systematization. The results of the research: changes in the technological, substantive and technical plan in the design of educational programs have been analyzed, the necessity of technological elaboration of psychological and pedagogical support of the educational process has been substantiated for the flexibility of educational programs and the development of individual learning paths; building a competence model of a specialist and strengthening practical training in the implementation of projectbased modular training in the format of network educational programs have been emphasized; the role of motivational behavior of students and teachers has been determined; the principles of network learning have been formulated; the experience of designing and implementing network educational programs at RANEPA and VAVT have been analyzed. Key findings: network education and introduction of flexible educational programs have defined a new methodological platform and architecture for higher education. The analysis of fundamental changes in personal, behavioral and cognitive development of modern youth under the influence of electronic media and their accounting will allow educational organizations of the higher education system to innovatively approach the development of content, learning technologies and to develop new criteria for assessing the quality of education at a university. Designing flexible educational programs in a network format based on the studied methodology provides an opportunity for Russian universities to develop a networked format of education effectively, increase the academic mobility of students and teachers, provide flexibility in the educational path of learning, and significantly raise the prestige of Russian education in the global educational space.

The article discusses the most important issue of personality-oriented general cultural basis of the future professional, its components and the main focus of the educational process to this result. The authors substantiate the model of culture of the "spiritualized professional" and the position that on this way one can only expect the development of society without global catastrophes. In the process of a person's "movement" to a profession in a certain educational space in pedagogy and psychology, its main vectors (directions) are distinguished, which allow us to structure and clarify our ideas about the possible trajectories of a student's movement in this space. Traditional education was actually determined by the sole focus on the acquisition by students of well-known, well-established information about the main objects of the relevant sciences, professional skills and practical skills. Despite the introduction of competence and competencies into everyday life, the focus on zuna still remains the basis of the set standards, educational programs, no matter how they are labeled differently, and in most cases it is it that is implemented in practice, no matter what teaching technologies are used by school teachers or university professors. A deeper penetration into the patterns of becoming a professional allows us to understand that a person becomes a professional as a result of a dialectical combination of two processes - mastering knowledge from the relevant professional field. This is the essence of professionalism. So, in the professional educational space, two relatively independent vectors can be distinguished, conventionally called the "vertical" and "horizontal" of the educational process. At the same time, in the scientific literature, there are different interpretations of these vectors: in one of the models, the formation of an individual style in professional activity and in the line of enriching one's professional awareness.
