Under the background of the implementation of Rural Revitalization Strategy, rural tourism has become another important way to drive rural development and realize rural revitalization after the mechanized operation mode. Relying on the characteristics of rural resources, rural tourism gives full play to its role. Aiming at the problems of agriculture, rural areas and farmers, it optimizes the resource allocation structure in rural areas, coordinates the industrial development, and constructs the characteristic rural tourism mode to meet the spiritual needs of contemporary people. With the development of new rural tourism mode relying on agricultural resources, such as research base, agricultural industrial park, characteristic towns and so on, more and more people love rural tourism. The development of rural tourism injects new vitality into rural areas, promotes the growth of rural regional economy, effectively increases farmers’ employment, promotes industrial integration, and is conducive to solving the “three rural” problems, reducing poverty, and promoting the construction of a well-off society.

For a long time, the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the State Council have attached great importance to rural development. At the report of the 19th National Congress, the Communist Party of China clearly pointed out that we should firmly “implement the Rural Revitalization Strategy” and “adhere to the priority development of agriculture and rural areas”. With the improvement of rural ecological environment and the development of economic construction, rural tourism has become more and more popular among the public, and has become one of the important pillars of Rural Revitalization and poverty alleviation. At the same time, rural tourism has greatly increased villagers’ income, improved villagers’ quality of life, and improved villagers’ happiness index. It can be seen that the rural tourism industry and the implementation of Rural Revitalization Strategy promote each other, and the positive development of rural tourism is the only way to promote the construction of new socialist countryside. This paper discusses how to realize the sustainable development of rural tourism in the context of Rural Revitalization from the perspective of the long-term significance of rural tourism to Rural Revitalization and the ways to develop rural tourism.

Rural Revitalization cannot be carried out simply through industrialization that has been done by the traditional development. It needs the simultaneous development of primary, secondary and tertiary industries because the traditional development mode of rural tourism, which allows farmers to move away from villages and occupy good natural resources, has not been accepted.  In the process of rural revitalization development, the village collective should play a major role in formulating standardized processes and methods, focusing on optimizing resources, excavating the unique culture of the countryside, and encouraging the villagers to participate actively.   As an important link between villagers, tourists and the natural environment, rural leisure can promote villagers' return, retain tourists, and finally promote rural revitalization with the concept of ecological civilization, so as to realize the sustainable development of rural areas.

Financial inclusion is a powerful push to realize the strategy of rural revitalization which is the “compass” of the work of agriculture, rural areas and farmers in the new era. The Strategy of Promoting Rural Revitalization by Financial Inclusion has been practiced in some areas, but there is a lack of the effect of practice and the summary of successful modes in academic researches. In this paper, taking Yueqing, Zhejiang Province, the pioneer of financial inclusion, as an example, the “Yueqing mode” of financial inclusion promoting rural revitalization was discussed based on the grounded theory, and factor analysis and multiple linear regression were further used from the perspective of residents' subjective perception to test the actual effect of “Yueqing mode”. The results show that financial inclusion can actively promote the implementation of rural revitalization strategy, which is mainly reflected in the improvement of the living environment and quality of life.

In the background of ongoing urbanization in China and prominent “dualistic” contradiction between urban and rural areas, rural revitalization is extremely urgent. Currently, common problems concerning industry, ecology and humanities exist in rural areas. This paper attempts to figure out the causes for differences in industrial development in rural areas on the basis of macro data analysis and industrial spatial distribution. Given the lack of quantitative analysis of the relationship between urban and rural development and industrial structure, this paper adopts SPSS statistical software to conduct regression analysis on the statistical data of Taiyuan City in the past ten years. Based on the relationship between industrial proportion and urban-rural income ratio, this paper proposes how the adjustment of urban industrial structure promotes the industrial development in surrounding rural areas and the narrowing of urban-rural income gap. From the perspective of rural industry undertaking or complementation with urban industry, this paper then puts forward the idea of undertaking the transfer industry within the scope of ensuring the aggregation effect of the city center and the carrying capacity of the ecological environment, proposing an industrial development path from agriculture to processing industry and then to culture, tourism and recreation industry for the villages in Taiyuan.

In recent years, tourism gentrification has made great progress in rural areas and has had significant impacts on these areas’ development, specifically in the domains of the economy, living standards, community, culture, and environment. Tourists play a key role in developing tourism gentrification in rural areas, but research investigating tourism gentrification in rural areas from the tourist perspective is scarce. To fill this gap, we focus on tourism gentrification and develop a measurement scale from the tourist perspective through multiple qualitative and quantitative steps. Our findings confirm that tourism gentrification in rural areas from the tourist perspective comprises eight dimensions: economic growth, enhanced environment, enhanced living standards, individual civilization, improved communication, promoted social environment, cultural appreciation, and improved individual quality. Through development and validation of the scale, we hope to offer a comprehensive referencing index of tourism gentrification in rural areas to policy makers and rural tourism practitioners.
