Education is process that aims to produce competent graduates. A learning plan which is famous as curriculum is needed to produce competent graduates. Curriculum described as all materials and all experiences that provided to students during doing education process in school. The process to serve all the materials and also experiences to the students called curriculum implementation. The better quality of curriculum implementation, the better quality of school graduates. Therefore, the factors that influence curriculum implementation need to identified. For getting data about the factors that influence curriculum implementation, the author was conducted a qualitative study at sport class in The Public Senior High School I of Sewon, Bantul. This paper present the result of the study that the inhibiting factors of curriculum implementation include: the low of teacher commitment and the uniqueness of sport class student’s characteristics. Meanwhile, the supporting factors of curriculum implementation includes: the teacher’s competence, the teacher’s commitment, the courage of sport class students, and the collaboration between teacher and students.

Teaching supervision by principal in Aceh Besar State High Schools (especially in Excellent Senior High School 2 of Ali Hasjmy and Senior High School 1 Baitussalam) is one of factors to improve the quality of professional teacher performance. The purpose of this study was to identify the activities, techniques, implementations, supporting and inhibiting factors in teaching supervision by principals in improving teacher performance. The subjects of this research were principals, vice principals, and teachers. This study used qualitative approach and descriptive method. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors of teaching supervision were the principals had other activities outside the school and did not have adequate time for the supervision, principal’s demonstration technique was still conventional, there was lack of fund, and there were teachers who were not creative and some of them were susceptible to illness (age factor).

The purpose of the study was to find out the differences between the classroom management   performed by the senior and yunior teachers in teaching English at senior High School in Medan. This is a descriptive qualitative study. The respondents of the research were 28 English teachers of Yunior and Senior High School in Medan. Questionnaire and Observation sheet were used to collect the data on the teachers classroom management.   The result of the study shows that senior English   teachers perform more aspects of Classroom management. They  perform 18 point from 20 points aspect.. Junior English teacher get 17 point. Although senior teachers  perfom only show slightly more aspect of classromm management but for the quality of classroom management they perform better due to the longer experience of teaching. For junior English teacher they perform more enthusiastics energy, although it is clear that they have to study more on the behavior and attitude expected in the classrooms.

Indriyani et al, (2013) stated that many students had dificulty in understanding the generic structure of analytical exposition text. Therefore, the present study tried to investigate the correlation between students understanding in writing generic structure of analytical exposition and the quality of students’ writing in second grade of senior hight school. Grounded in explanatory correlational research design by Creswell (2011), this study conducted over two weeks in one of senior high school in Indramayu. Close-ended questionnaire and writing test were instruments to collect the data and it was analyzed  by using SPSS 22. The statistical calculation from students understanding in writing generic stucture of the text and writing test indicated that the value of tcount was 3.23 and the value of ttable was 0.361. It can be concluded that the hypothesis was accepted because tcount 3.23 > ttable 0.361. The finding reveal that there was middle correlation or middle prediction in students understanding of generic structure of analytical exposition and students writing quality with the score 0,52.

This research is carried out to examine the developed circular motion physics module in a cooperative learning setting for students of Grade X Science Senior High School in Banjarmasin. This study's general objectives are to produce a circular motion physics module integrated with gumbaan local wisdom in cooperative learning settings and describe its feasibility. Moreover, this study's specific objectives aimed to describe the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the module. This study utilizes the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) development design model. The instruments used consisted of module validation sheets, students’ questionnaire responses, and learning outcome test. The results of the study indicated that: (1) the validity of the module, based on the content and display, obtained a score of 3.20, which fell in the "good" category, (2) the practicality of the module, based on students' questionnaire responses, obtained a percentage of 64.92% which is categorized as “good”, and (3) the effectiveness of the module, based on students' test scores, obtained a score of 0.44 which belonged in the "moderate" category. It is then concluded that the circular motion physics module, which integrated gumbaan local wisdom contents in cooperative learning settings, is proven feasible for learning and teaching and can be used as an alternative reference in improving the quality of learning, especially to improve the learning outcomes of learners. This module can be used as a reference that teachers can use in learning at senior high school.

<span><em>This research is intended to look into the existence of Province Acreditation </em><span><em>for School and Islamic School in Jambi through the policies and programs </em><span><em>executed, include the result of acreditation for islamic school at Ministry </em><span><em>of Religious Affairs in Jambi. The data from Jambi Ministry of Religious </em><span><em>Affairs in 2012 showed that from 538 islamic schools which have been </em><span><em>acreditated, ie:(a) 244 Islamic Kindergarten, 169 (7,63%) kindergartens </em><span><em>were acreditated, 75 (28,37%) kindergartens were not acreditated, (b). </em><span><em>263 Islamic Elementary School, 171 (61%) schools were acreditated, 98 </em><span><em>(38,20%) schools were not acreditated, (c) 345 Islamic Junior High School, </em><span><em>158 (44,99 %) schools were acreditated, 187 (55,01%) schools were not </em><span><em>acreditated and (d) 184 Islamic Senior High School, 88 (47,01%) schools</em><br /><span><em>were acreditated and 96 (52,99%) schools were not acreditated. From 1036 </em><span><em>educational institutions, there have been 450 (43,44%) islamic schools </em><span><em>which were acreditated while there were 586 (56,56%) isclamic schools </em><span><em>which were not acreditated. The main problem which happenned was there </em><span><em>were many islamic schools got C in acreditation and even some schools were </em><span><em>not acreditated. <p>The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of school based management in proving the quality of teachers In State Senior High School No.4 OKU. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The informants as sources in this study were the principal. Deputy principal, teachers, administrative staff and guardian of students. In collecting the data the researcher used were observation, interview and documentation techniques. Based on the research result it can be concluded that First, the principal in State Senior High School No.4 OKU is capable of implementing school based management well. Second, there is an increase in teacher quality as seen from teacher completence. Third, school principals is able to improve teacher quality through planned and gradual programs. Fourth, the principal is able to improve the quality of the school.</p>

Choosing the best school is important for some people. the best school benchmark is a school that has a big name brand image in view of the majority of society. Lately more and more educational institutions are emerging, every institution is competing to improve the quality in order to win the competition. Schools that have a good image in the eyes of the public will win this competition. Therefore, brand image is an important thing that must be considered by education providers. This paper aims to determine the steps to form a brand image in Islamic Senior High School of Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo as an effort to improve competitiveness. This study used a qualitative approach with the method of data mining in the form of observation, interview, and tracing of related documents.The results of this study indicate that there are several steps taken by Islamic Senior High School Of Nurul Jadid institution in forming brand image, which is institutional accreditation, inculcate good student behavior, improve student achievement, improve teacher quality and graduate quality, hold excellent activities, with alumni. These steps can improve competitiveness, with school accreditation, good graduate quality, student achievement, and student behavior have attracted the attention of the community to choose to continue their studies in Islamic Senior High School of Nurul Jadid, as well as being a challenge for other institutions.

<p><strong>Abstract</strong>: This study aimed to find out the usage of coherence and cohesion on the Students’ Descriptive Texts, especially in ten grader students at state senior high school in Cirebon. This study adopted thematic progression analysis to explore coherence in the students’ Descriptive text. This study was a qualitative study that used content analysis. The technique of collecting data was documentation from 46 students writing descriptive texts. The procedures were firstly collecting data, analyzing data, presenting data, and concluding the result of the study. Based on the analyzed data,1) 46 students’ writing descriptive text had grown the writing as the series of the stage in the descriptive text, using Identification and Description. Then, in analyzing coherence 2) 76% students got the coherence level is good, there are 19% in Fair, there are 2% in Less and 3% in Poor and in analyzing cohesion 3) there are 1052 cohesion markers that consist of 852 findings markers of grammatical cohesion (596 findings markers reference and 256 markers conjunction) and 200 markers of lexical cohesion (200 markers repetition).<br /><strong>Keywords</strong>: series of stage, coherence, cohesion</p>
