Abstract: The general objective of the present study is to identify the antecedents of the entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial intentions of 266 potential entrepreneurs, represented by students of the degree courses in Business Administration and Accounting Sciences in brazilians higher education institutions. For this purpose, as specific objectives we sought to identify whether entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial behavior are seen as different career options by students, as well as understanding the degree of relative importance for students of the attributes of property, income expectation, extra work tolerance, desire for autonomy and risk of income variation. For the data analysis, we specified structural equation models, with a confirmatory factorial analysis, as well as using the conjoint analysis approach of the attributes selected for the study. The results indicate that the constructive entrepreneurial intentions and intrapreneurial intentions are perceived as different career options by the students. The results also indicate that the most valued attribute by the respondents to define professional choice is income expectation and the least valued is the tolerance to the accomplishment of additional effort. Finally, the results point out that the income expectation variable is antecedent of the entrepreneurial intentions, and no other significant relationships were detected. Keywords: Entrepreneurial intentions. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that affect directly and indirectly such as promotion, convenience, and security on the decision to purchase online cinema tickets with the TIX ID application through consumer buying interest. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire that is distributed online via the google application form. Data analysis methods include validity, reliability, classical assumptions, and SEM tests. The number of samples in this study were 200 respondents who had met the minimum requirements for using SEM (structural equation models). Data processing using SPSS and AMOS. The results showed that promotion and convenience factors had a significant effect on purchase intention, while security did not have a significant effect on purchase intention. The results of statistical tests show that there is no influence of the promotion, convenience, and security variables on purchasing decisions. Furthermore, the results show that promotion and convenience factors indirectly influence purchasing decisions through purchase intention.

Purpose Based on the theory of planned behaviour and the resource-based perspective, the purpose of this paper is to provide a well-supported explanation of how access to resources, defined as those controlled by the family context and not necessarily controlled by the student, changes attitudes, subjective norms and perceived control and, consequently, the entrepreneurial intentions of secondary students. Design/methodology/approach In contrast to traditional research methodologies, this study used a different approach based on primary survey data collected from secondary students to study future entrepreneurial intentions. Structural equation models were used in the empirical analysis. Findings Secondary students with more access to resources – financial and human capital – have stronger entrepreneurial intentions because they have more favourable attitudes and subjective norms, and greater perceived behavioural control. This study finds that cultural capital has no significant impact on entrepreneurial intention. Practical implications Key policy actions should increase access to resources for young people. Originality/value This study shows that the effect of access to resources on entrepreneurial intention is mediated by attitudes, social norms and perceived behavioural control. The results suggest that the relationship between access to resources and entrepreneurial intentions is more complex and nuanced than previously thought.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to extend the attitudinal approach to entrepreneurial intentions by using a structural analysis to explore overlooked personal values as the antecedents of entrepreneurial attitude. Based on the widely adopted value system proposed by Schwartz, this study argues that while one cluster of personal values is positively correlated with entrepreneurial attitude that leads to entrepreneurial intention, another cluster of personal values is negatively correlated with entrepreneurial attitude. Design/methodology/approach – Questionnaire responses obtained from a sample of 276 MBA were analyzed using structural equation models to examine the influences of values on entrepreneurial intentions via entrepreneurial attitude. Findings – The results of this study demonstrate that personal values of self-direction, stimulation, achievement, and universalism are all positively correlated with entrepreneurial attitude, which together constitute a comfort zone for entrepreneurship, whereas values in the opposite end of the circumplex including benevolence, tradition, conformity, security, and power are negatively correlated with entrepreneurial attitude. The values that discourage the formation of an entrepreneurial attitude also counter the positive effect of entrepreneurial attitude on intention, making the relationship between entrepreneurial attitude and intention contingent upon value conflicts. Originality/value – This study regards entrepreneurship as a career development and contributes to the entrepreneurship study by differentiating the influences of a vital construct, i.e., personal values, which should not be regarded as a universalism. The value circumplex with a comfort and discomfort zone developed by this study can serve as a platform to help build the view on entrepreneurial intentions in terms of personal values.

When things go wrong for people, those who are self-critical, compared to those who self-reassure, are at increased risk of psychopathology. However, little is known of the internal processes involved in self-criticism and self-reassurance, such as the ease of eliciting critical imagery, and the power, emotion and vividness of self-criticalness and self-reassurance. This study used a self-imagery task to investigate trait self-criticism and trait self-reassurance in relation to the ease and clarity of generating self-critical and self-reassuring images, and the felt power and emotion of self-critical and self-reassuring imagery. We also explored these in relation to depressive symptoms in students. Results suggested that trait self-criticism is associated with ease and clarity in generating hostile and powerful self-critical images, while trait self-reassurance is associated with ease and clarity of generating warm and supportive images of the self. Data analysis using structural equation models also suggests that difficulties in generating self-reassurance and compassionate images about the self with self-directed warmth, may also contribute to depressive symptoms. Thus self-critics may not only suffer for elevated negative feelings about the self but may also struggle to be able to generate self-supportive images and feelings for the self, and these difficulties could be a focus of therapeutic interventions.

Island biogeographic studies traditionally treat single islands as units of analysis. This ignores the fact that most islands are spatially nested within archipelagos. Here, we took a fundamentally different approach and focused on entire archipelagos using species richness of vascular plants on 23 archipelagos worldwide and their 174 constituent islands. We assessed differential effects of biogeographic factors (area, isolation, age, elevation), current and past climate (temperature, precipitation, seasonality, climate change velocity) and intra-archipelagic spatial structure (archipelago area, number of islands, area range, connectivity, environmental volume, inter-island distance) on plant diversity. Species diversity of each archipelago ( γ ) was additively partitioned into α , β , nestedness and replacement β -components to investigate the relative importance of environmental and spatial drivers. Multiple regressions revealed strong effects of biogeography and climate on α and γ , whereas spatial factors, particularly number of islands, inter-island distance and area range, were key to explain β . Structural equation models additionally suggested that γ is predominantly determined by indirect abiotic effects via its components, particularly β . This highlights that β and the spatial arrangement of islands are essential to understand insular ecology and evolution. Our methodological framework can be applied more widely to other taxa and archipelago-like systems, allowing new insights into biodiversity origin and maintenance.

<p>Entrepreneurship holds a strategic role for national economic development by creating job opportunity. Unfortunately, Indonesia still has low number of entrepreneurs. Since entrepreneurship can be learned, then universities are seen as one of the potential sources of supply to create entrepreneurs through entrepreneurial education. Although Indonesian government and ministry of higher education give a strong support to stimulate entrepreneurship in higher education, in the reality, most of university graduates still hesitate to become entrepreneur. This study aims to see the effect of entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurial self-efficacy on student’s entrepreneurial intentions from four private universities located in Tangerang. The research was carried out using quantitative methods using non-probability sampling with judgmental sampling. The data were collected through online questionnaires using google forms with a sample target of 134 samples. The data analysis in this study using the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) technique assisted by the SmartPLS 3.0 software. This study shows that entrepreneurship education has a significant effect on entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intentions. And, Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy positively affect entrepreneurial intention.  The study also found that entrepreneurial self-efficacy partially mediates the relationship between entrepreneurship education with Student's Entrepreneural Intention</p><p><em><strong>Abstrak dalam Bahasa Indonesia.</strong> Kewirausahaan memegang peran strategis bagi pembangunan ekonomi nasional dengan menciptakan lapangan kerja. ABSTRACT Objective: this study was aimed to verify how perceptions of career barriers and adaptability held by senior undergraduate students attending Business Administration programs influence employability and career satisfaction. Method: a survey was conducted among 358 senior undergraduate students. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, hypothesis tests for differences between means, and structural equation modeling. Results: significant differences were found in individuals’ perceptions regarding career barriers depending on sex and race. Contrary to the expected, the hypothesis test showed that contextual career barriers do not predict employability or satisfaction. Adaptability, in turn, predicted both, while employability predicted satisfaction. Conclusions: the results reinforce that sociodemographic characteristics are potential indicators to support understanding of perceived career barriers. Additionally, the students’ continued development of adaptability (concern, control, curiosity, confidence) to advance their careers and life plays an important role, positively influencing perceptions of overall abilities for work (employability) and career success.
