The phenomenon of the Covid-19 pandemic has affected the whole globe, the consequences of which are long lasting and difficult to estimate. The Republic of Moldova, being a developing country, could not overcome these serious consequences, caused by the reduction of public health, the reduction of the work capacity of the population, the deplorable condition of the medical system, caused by small investments in health, etc. Human society has been put to hard tests of survival of patients with this virus, the incidence rate of diseases was about 11%. Thanks to the financial aid of the European Union, Romania and other countries, the Republic of Moldova managed to cope with things in the fight against Covid. This article presents the results of the research of the authors, participants of the national project "Assessment of health of post – COVID - 19 patients in the Republic of Moldova", which aimed to develop the Electronic Register of patients with Covid - 19 (March 2020 - June 2021), which will allow monitoring the process of treatment and recovery of the consequences of this disease, by assessing the state of health and quality of life both at admission and at discharge of the respective patients. Based on the concept of quality of life as a socio-economic category and its interconnections with health, the authors proposed the system of medical indicators to assess the health and quality of life of patients affected by covid. In the authors' opinion, a special role in the treatment and treatment of comorbidities belongs to comorbidities, so the authors selected them as separate study subjects to prove their negative impact on the form of the disease and the state of health and quality of life at discharge of patients.

The Object of the Study. The system of monitoring the quality of life of the population in the municipalities of the northern territories. The Subject of the Study. Trends and patterns of quality of life indicators. The Purpose of the Study. On the basis of the developed methodology, assessing the quality of life of the population by the example of individual indicators reflecting the health and safety of the population in the context of municipalities with the construction of an integrated rating for the region. The Main Provisions of the Article. Nowadays, the need and relevance of information on the living strandards and quality of life of the population not only by region, but also by municipalities, are essenting, and the situation and indicators are the most important strategic task of the region, including smoothing the differentiation between municipalities. In assessing the quality of life of the population monitoring the state of health and safety of the population is of great importance. The are indicators reflecting the situation in these areas.A monitoring system is needed that can monitor and identify problem points of greatest tension in a particular municipal entity, set priorities for the future, conduct comparative analyzes in the dynamics of indicators, and evaluate the effectiveness of government bodies.Municipal statistics makes it possible to evaluate some indicators of the standards of living within the regions, but they reflect only certain aspects of social development; nevertheless, the most relevant indicators can be used to calculate the integral index for assessing the situation in municipalities of the region.Receiving practical approval of the method has proved its effectiveness by the example of municipalities of the Sakha Republic (Yakutiya) according to statistics of the Territorial body of the Federal State Statistics Service of the Sakha Republic (Yakutiya) including indicators of the health and safety of the population by level between municipalities and over three years. In the developed methodology, statistical indicators are converted into points depending on the maximum and minimum values. Indicators have been worked out taking into account the relevance for the northern territories, which may reflect the situation in a particular municipality, and the current socioeconomic situation.Based on the results of the assessment of the state of health and safety of the population, a rating of municipalities of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) has been built, and differentiation was revealed by municipalities of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia). The presented study confirms the need for system monitoring and the development of criteria for evaluating indicators of the quality of life of the population in the municipalities of the region in order to conduct an active social policy in the future.

Objective: to assess the quality of life (QoL) using general and special questionnaires and to identify the relationship between fatigue and sarcopenia (SP) in elderly and senile people.Patients and methods. The cohort study included 230 patients, including 177 women (77%) and 53 men (23%) over 65 years old (median age 75 [68; 79] years). The presence of SP was determined according to the criteria of the European Working Group on Sarcopenia in Older People (EWGSOP2, 2018). QoL was studied using the general questionnaires EQ-5D, SF-36 and a special questionnaire SarQoL, the level of fatigue – using the FACIT-F questionnaire. To assess the possibility of using the FACIT-F scale for SP screening, its sensitivity, specificity, diagnostic accuracy, positive and negative predictive value were determined, a receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve (ROC analysis) was constructed, and the area under the ROC curve (AUC) was calculated. Results and discussion. The assessment of QoL using the EQ-5D and SF-36 questionnaires did not reveal significant differences between the groups of patients with and without SP (p>0.05). When analyzing the state of health in the study cohort using the special SarQoL questionnaire, the overall indicator was 63.12±18.83 points, while in patients with SP it was significantly lower than in patients without SP (50.65±14.23 and 75,10±14.46 points, respectively; p<0.001). The mean score for all domains was also lower in the presence of SP than in its absence (p<0.001).The level of fatigue on the FACIT-F scale ranged from 10 to 52 points and averaged 32.5 [29.1; 35.3] points, while in patients with SP the overall score was lower than in elderly people without SP (25.1 [22.13; 29.23] and 39.8 [36.4; 42.4] points respectively; p<0.001). In patients with severe fatigue, SP was diagnosed 4.6 times (95% confidence interval, CI 2.80–7.57) more often than in those without it (p<0.001). Fatigue was associated with senile age, underweight, falls in the previous year, weak muscle strength, low SPPB test scores and an appendicular muscle mass index, CRP >10 mg/L (p<0.05).The possibility of using the FACIT-F questionnaire for screening patients with SP was evaluated. Its sensitivity reached 76%, specificity – 73%, positive predictive value – 53%, and negative predictive value – 88%, diagnostic accuracy – 74%. The area under the ROC-curve (AUC) was 0.726 (95% CI 0.627–0.826; p<0.0001).Conclusion. It has been shown that the general questionnaires EQ-5D and SF-36 do not reflect the true QoL impairment in SP. A significant deterioration in the state of health in elderly people with SP can be identified by a special SarQol questionnaire. The FACIT-F fatigue scale can also be used to screening in SP.

Abstract: In Spain, the declaration of the state of alarm due to the Covid-19 pandemic, meant that between 14th of March and 2nd of May 2020, 47 million inhabitants were confined at home and could only go out to cover basic needs. This unprecedented event has led to a paradigm shift, and it is appropriate to analyze its impact on health, considering how it has affected the practice of physical activity. An ad hoc questionnaire was administered. The participants were 1046 people (48.57% male and 51.43% female) and the average age of 40 (± DT 13.35 years). Regarding the practice of physical activity, a significant decrease in intensity and quantity stands out (p < .001), and a modification of the type of physical activity performed, going from cardiovascular sports and muscular fitness to soft gymnastics and flexibility practices. The total percentage of people who did no physical activity at all, increased. In addition, although more free time was available, people in ERTE situation significantly decreased their amount of physical activity performed (p < .001). These results allow us to conclude that confinement has meant a modification of physical activity practice habits and a decrease in the recommended values of healthy healthy, and therefore has had implications on health and quality of life. This information will help to understand these new behaviors in order for managers to implement innovative strategies to reactivate the return to previous levels of physical activity, its increase and, in short, the reactivation of the sports sector.

The aim: To systematize and bring the reader closer to knowledge about the occurrence of sexual disorders in people after heart transplantation based on available bibliography. Material and methods: A review of the literature on this topic from the last 30 years made with using the PubMed database, using a total of 17 articles. Conclusions: The incidence of sexual dysfunction (SD) is higher in heart recipients than in the general population and erectile dysfunction is the most common. When the symptoms of dysfunction occur before the transplant – they do not improve, rather they get worse, which reduces the improvement in the quality of life of these patients compared to patients without sexual dysfunction. Improvement in quality of life is observed in patients with SD after heart transplantation, but not as pronounced as in subjects without sexual dysfunction. Some patients notice an increase in libido, with the genital response being insufficient or completely disappearing, which results in a decrease in the quality of relationships between partners and a deterioration in the quality of life. The cause of SD in heart recipients is unclear, but it is associated with the type of immunosuppression used, the level of sexual activity and the state of health of patients prior to transplantation. Nowadays patients after ortotrophic heart transplant live longer and their quality of life improves, but not in sexual terms. The articles concerned almost exclusively men, that is why the topic requires exploration in subsequent research.

The work examines modern methodological approaches to assessing the quality of life using environmental indicators. Analysis of the existing methods in Ukraine for determining the environmental component when measuring the quality of life showed the need to develop a new method for a comprehensive assessment of the state of the environment. This is due to the fact that the existing methodology for assessing the quality of life does not take into account the ecological component as a separate block of indicators, and also contains some inaccuracies in the formulas for calculating the final indicator. In this regard, a new method is proposed for determining the ecological component in the general system for assessing the quality of life of the population, which is the scientific novelty of the work. Based on the analysis of monitoring data on the quality of air, surface waters and soils of Ukraine, statistical reporting on environmental indicators of the development of regions of Ukraine, intermediate indicator indicators are calculated, and then the final complex indicator of the state of the environment is determined. Calculation formulas and assessment scales in points of the state of environmental components are proposed. The proposed method is based on the processing of data from official state statistics and environmental monitoring, which determines the reliability of the initial data. The proposed technique can easily be used as an algorithm for computerized calculations of the indicator of a comprehensive assessment of the state of the environment. The calculation of the indicator of the ecological state was made on the basis of current statistical data, which showed the need for immediate environmental protection measures in the industrially developed regions of Ukraine: Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk and Lugansk regions.
