Starting from the importance of sustainable behaviour among educators for sustainability in kindergarten, the aim of this empirical quantitative study was to investigate the prevalence of predispositions towards sustainable behaviour among students from the first cycle of the Preschool Education study programme at three universities. The connection between predispositions, the existence of a difference between cognitive and non-cognitive predispositions, and the absence of a statistically significant difference between the predispositions of the students in relation to home faculty and place of residence were determined.

Educators of future teachers are constantly faced with the changing demands of modern times in providing quality school education. The process of educating pre-service teachers involves many hidden aspects that even educators of pre-service teachers themselves are often unaware of, as they are subtly hidden behind likeable professional eloquence. For decades, the pre-service geography teacher education in Slovenia has been driven by the educators’ profound belief in the significance of preparing students for their future professions, regardless of the, often hidden, obstacles that they have had to overcome. Through a qualitative pilot study among former students on the geography teacher education study programme in Slovenia, we aimed to identify strengths and weaknesses of the existing programme and suggest possible changes that could lead to its improvement.

Children should have some essential characteristics to follow primary school education. Pre-schools prepare children for the first years of primary school by teaching them to attain the necessary skills. The main aim of this study was to explore the self-regulation skill levels of 4-6 age group students attending pre-school education institutions, according to various demographic variables. In this survey, a descriptive research method, one of the quantitative research methods, was used. The population is 10336 students who attend the public preschool education institutions in Küçükçekmece, İstanbul, and the sample consists of 203 students. The ‘Personal Information Form’ and the Development of the Self-Regulation Skills Scale for 4-6 Years Old Children (Teacher Form) were used in the research to collect data. One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and t-test were implemented to analyze the data. In terms of findings of the research, when teachers consider the self-regulation skills of 4-6 years old students as sub-dimensions, they stated that they had “mostly” obstructive control sub-dimension, “mostly” and “always” had sub-dimension of working memory. In general, it can be said that the children participating in the research mostly had self-regulation skills. Although significant differences existed between the self-regulation skills of preschool students in terms of gender, age, and class size, no significant difference was found according to whether the mothers working in a job or not. Keywords: self-regulation, self-regulation skills, preschool students, preschool teacher

In our new education curriculum, it has been seen that it is no longer sufficient for students to learn only the achievements, unlike these gains, solution strategies that the student visualizes in his mind and designed by himself are also needed. Mathematical thinking, which is the process of obtaining new information completely different from the student's old knowledge and new knowledge, using it in the solution of the problem, and transforming that knowledge into new knowledge, has become extremely important. MEB asks students for deep mathematical thinking and problem solving skills in all questions they ask in the skill-based tests and student selection exam LGS. In this study, mathematical thinking and problem solving skills of middle school 7th grade students while solving problems will be examined. The research was applied to 241 students in 7 different secondary schools in the province of Bingöl in the Eastern Anatolia Region in the 2020-2021 academic year. In the study, it was investigated by quantitative and qualitative methods whether the mathematical thinking and problem solving skills of the students on rational numbers are related to gender, whether they had pre-school education and daily reading time. In the research, the SPSS 25 package program was used in the analysis of quantitative data, and in the analysis of qualitative data by examining the process steps in the answers from the students. As a result of the research, a statistically significant difference was found between male and female students, and this difference is in favor of female students. According to the findings obtained from the research, no statistically significant difference was found between the students who had and did not have pre-school education. Secondary school 7th grade students’ mathematical thinking and problem solving skills are related to their daily reading time. According to the results, students who read for an hour a day are more successful than students who read for fifteen minutes a day.

A total of 40 polytechnic students from Polytechnic Kuching Sarawak are randomly selected to participate in this study. Data were obtained using a set of questionnaire consisting of three parts. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively and inferentially. Inferential analysis involves t test and Pearson correlation. The findings have shown that the level of feedback environment based on students' perception is high. Simultaneously, the level of creativity among the students is also high. The findings indicated that there is no significant difference in feedback environment between genders. Furthermore, the study also showed a significant and positive relationship between feedback environment and students’ creativity. The results of this study have several implications directly to the formation of high-quality students as feedback environment and students’ creativity are interrelated and inseparable in educational organizations.

This research was designed as a survey study. The sample of this study consisted of 326 children, enrolled at preschool education institutions in the center of Usak province, and their parents. "Parents' Expectations from Preschool Institutions Questionnaire" developed by Simsek and Ivrendi (2014), and "Demographics Information Form" were used as data collection tools to determine the expectations of parents from preschool education institutions. It was concluded as a result of the study that the parents had a "low level" expectation related to the sub-scales of (teacher, education-family, school policy, informing) of the Parents' Expectations from Preschool Institutions Questionnaire. A significant difference in favor of males was found out in the informing sub-scale according to the t-test results carried out related to parents' expectations in line with the gender of children. The expectations of parents from preschool institutions showed a significant difference according to income status. It was found out that the expectations of families with low income level from preschool institutions were higher compared to the expectations of families with middle- and high-income levels regarding the sub-scales of teacher and education-family.

This research is a field experimental study that aims to find out the difference between the effects of non-ball smash exercises and silent ball smash exercises on the ability of volleyball smash on students of the FOK UNG Sports Coaching Education Study Program. The population and sample involved in this study were 60 students of the FOK UNG Sports Coaching Education Study Program. However, in accordance with the research design, two research groups were formed which consisted of ball-free smash exercises and silent ball smash exercises. The research was carried out for six weeks with frequency of exercise 3 times a week. Based on the results of data analysis using the paired t-test formula and the unpaired ttest at a significant level of 95%, it can be concluded as follows: There is a significant effect of smash training without the ball on the ability to do volleyball smash (to = 8,869> tt = 2,045 ). There is a significant effect of the silent ball smash exercise on the ability to do volleyball smash (to = 13,535> tt = 2,045). There is a significant difference in the effect between the smash ball practice without the ball and the silent ball smash exercise on the ability to do volleyball smash (to = 8,259> tt = 2,000)
