Individual Innovativeness is one of the most appreciated attributes of 21st century skills needed in every field of daily life. Because of this appreciation, a lot of effort has been spent toward prompting individual innovativeness levels of both students and teachers in a teaching and learning environment via innovative practices. So this study aims to examine the relationship between prospective teachers' learning beliefs and their individual innovativeness state. The correlational survey method was used in this study and the sample of the study is comprised of 515 prospective teachers. The data of the study was collected via “Belief Scale toward Learning” developed by Bay et al. (2012) and “Individual Innovativeness Scale” developed by Hurt, Joseph, and Cook (1977) and adapted to Turkish by Kılıçer and Odabaşı (2010). The data of this study were analyzed with the help of the SPSS package program. Test of normality, descriptive statistics, correlational analysis and partial linear regression analysis techniques were used to analyze the data obtained. The results of the analysis showed that prospective teachers have a high level of constructivist and a moderate level of traditional learning beliefs while their individual innovativeness state was determined to be in the category of interrogators. Besides, prospective teachers' beliefs in constructivist learning were determined to be a significant predictor of their individual innovativeness state. Information and Communication Technology has rigorously impacted upon the way the teaching and learning is being carried out in the classrooms of twenty first century. Digital learning has opened the doors of a new classroom and has made knowledge and information accessible to everyone in any corner of the globe. Cyber resources are a collection of various online resources. The quality of nation depends on the quality of human capital it has, and ultimately the quality of human capital depends on the quality of education. Teaching and learning process is considered very important in education. Teacher plays a vital role in imparting knowledge and influences the students’ learning and their educational accomplishments. The main objective of this paper is to assess the attitude towards using cyber resources among prospective teachers. Sample of the study comprises of 300 prospective teachers randomly selected. Normative survey method was employed for data collection. The Attitude towards using Cyber Resources scale constructed and standardized by Dr. S. Rajasekar (2010) was used for data collection. Three hypotheses were formulated to guide this study. Student’s ‘t’ test was used to analyse the collected data. Results revealed that gender, educational qualification and discipline do not influence the attitude towards using cyber resources among prospective teachers. The prospective teachers have felt the need to use cyber resources for strengthening their knowledge by accessing advanced materials, reach out their students, and to use cyber resources as an effective teaching tool especially in this pandemic period.

Quranic recitation with a proper tajweed is an individual obligation for Muslim. The tajweed education curriculum studied at the Tahfiz Schools is focusing on the theory and practical of makhraj (articulation points), sifat huruf (character of alphabet), hukum nun sakinah and tanween, hukum mim sakinah, mad and many others. The objectives of this study are to identify the students' background and to analyze the level of respondents' effectiveness in the teaching and learning of tajweed knowledge. 210 respondents from nine private tahfiz schools under PITAS, Selangor were involved.The quantitative data is analyzed using percentage, frequency, mean and standard deviation based on Statistical Packages for the Social Science (SPSS) version 20.0. The research design used was quantitative in descriptive method through current survey method by using the questionnaire method of five Likert scale options. The data are also supported by semi-structural interview instruments, observations and Quranic test. All data collection instruments have been verified by the expert reference panel. The findings show that the level of effectiveness of teaching and learning tajweed knowledge among the students of Selangor private school is high (min = 4.04, p = 0.85), while the mean score for the implementation domain for the teaching and learning method of tajweed knowledge is moderate high = 3.60, p = 0.73). Results from the respondents shows high level of understanding of tajweed knowledge mastery. However, there is a necessity towards improvement of understanding about Mad Asli, Mad Far'ie and Imam Hafs reading. Meanwhile, the practice of the teaching and learning methods domain applied in the teaching and learning of tajweed knowledge in the private tahfiz schools are also at a good level however still in need of attention and continuous enhancement on the lecture method, practical method, oral test, blackboard, reference books, quizzes, questions and presentations. In conclusion, the excellence mastery of tajweed knowledge in the Quran gives a positive consequence in the Quranic recitation, memorisation and contemplation simultaneously resulted a holistic character of a believer. Abstrak Tuntutan  membaca  al-Quran  secara  bertajwid  merupakan  fardhu  ain  setiap  Muslim.  Kurikulum pendidikan  ilmu tajwid  yang dipelajari di Sekolah-sekolah Tahfiz difokuskan dalam  bentuk teori dan praktikal berkisarkan makhraj, sifat huruf, hukum nun sakinahserta tanwin, hukum mim sakinah, maddan sebagainya. Objektif kajian ialah untuk mengenal pasti latarbelakang pelajar dan menganalisis tahap keberkesanan  responden  di  dalam  pengajaran  dan  pembelajaran  ilmu  tajwid.  Responden  kajian  ini terdiri daripada 210 orang pelajar di sembilan buah sekolah tahfiz swasta di bawah PITAS, Selangor. Data-data  kuantitatif  dianalisis  dengan  menggunakan  peratusan,  kekerapan,  min  dan  sisihan  piawai berdasarkan Statistical  Package  for  the  Social  Science(SPSS)  versi  20.0.  Reka  bentuk kajian  yang digunakan  adalah  berbentuk  kuantitatif  bersifat  deskriptif  melalui  kaedah  tinjauan  semasa  dengan menggunakan  metode  soal  selidik  lima  pilihan  berskala  likert.  Data-data  juga  disokong  dengan instrumen  temu  bual  semi  struktur,  pemerhatian  dan  ujian  tilawah  al-Quran.  Kesemua  instrumen pengutipan data telah disahkan kandungannya oleh panel rujukan pakar. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa tahap keberkesanan pengajaran dan pembelajaran  ilmu tajwid dalam kalangan pelajar-pelajar sekolah  tahfiz  swasta  Selangor  adalah  tinggi  (min=  4.04,  p  =  0.85),  manakala  skor  min  bagi  domain pelaksanaan terhadap kaedah pengajaran dan pembelajaran ilmu tajwid adalah sederhana tinggi (min= 3.60,  p=  0.73).  Ini  menunjukkan  responden  mempunyai  kefahaman  yang  tinggi  terhadap penguasaan ilmu tajwid, tetapi perlu kepada penambahbaikan dari aspek Mad Asli, Mad Far’ie, dan bacaan Imam Hafs  berdasarkan  hasil  keputusan  ujian  tilawah  al-Quran  dan  hasil  temubual.  Manakala  bagi  domain amalan  kaedah-kaedah  pengajaran  dan  pembelajaran   yang  diaplikasikan  dalam  pengajaran  dan pembelajaran ilmu tajwid di sekolah-sekolah tahfiz swasta juga berada di tahap baik tetapi masih perlu perhatian dan pemurniaan secara berterusan terhadap kaedah syarahan, praktikal dan amali, ujian lisan, papan  hitam,buku  rujukan,  kuiz,  soal  jawab  dan  pembentangan.  Kesimpulannya  penguasaan  ilmu tajwid  yang  cemerlang  dalam  al-Quran  memberi  implikasi  yang  positif  dalam  tilawah,  tahfiz  dan tadabburayat-ayat al-Quran sehingga mampu membentuk peribadi mukmin kamil.

Lesson plan is one of important role in the teaching and learning process in Primary Schools. It contains plans for activities or activities that will be carried out during learning. This research aims is to describe the suitability of lesson plan and the learning process in elementary school. The research method used is a survey method, involving a sample of 12 public and private elementary schools in the city of Sumedang. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation and questionnaire techniques, the data that has been obtained is then analyzed using simple statistical techniques. The results showed that the suitability of lesson plan and the learning process had a percentage of 68.0% and were in the high category. This shows that all activities listed in the lesson plan start from the initial activities (79.8%), main activities (63.8%) and closing activities (68.86%) are in accordance with the activities carried out in the learning process. Thus it can be concluded that the lesson plan that has been prepared by the teacher and the learning process that has been carried out in the Sumedang City Primary School has a high level of suitability. However, even though it has a high category, but not fully in accordance with the lesson plan used, so there is still a need for further guidance and development for teachers so that they are always guided by the lesson plan so that learning becomes more directed and in accordance with the prepared plan.

In this study, the degree to which reflective thinking tendencies and individual innovativeness predicted prospective teachers’ attitudes towards teaching profession was investigated. In this study, relational survey model was conducted. The study was composed of 510 prospective teachers from 12 different universities in Turkey. In this study, “Reflective Thinking Tendency Scale (RTTS)”, “Individual Innovativeness Scale (IIS)” and “Attitude Towards Teaching Profession Scale (ATTPS)” were utilized. “Pearson Momentler Correlation Coefficient” and “Multiple Linear Regression Analysis” were conducted in the correlational and regression analysis. It was found out that there was a strong positive meaningful correlation between prospective teachers’ attitudes towards teaching profession, their reflective thinking tendencies and individual innovativeness. It was also found that there was a strong positive meaningful correlation between reflective thinking tendencies and individual innovativenes.

The modern way of teaching and learning emphasizes the technology to be embedded in the education system. Thus, higher learning institutions (HLIs) are gradually switching their class delivering method from classroom-based teaching (CBT) to the so-called blended learning approach (BLA). The BLA integrates traditional CBT with the online teaching class. Thus, this study aims to investigate the readiness level towards BLA among lecturers in HLIs. Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) lecturers were chosen as a study population, and the sample of 350 lecturers was determined using a proportionate random sampling method. The survey method was used to gather the data, and by utilizing the descriptive statistic, our results suggest that lecturers in HLIs have a high level of readiness towards the BLA. Even though there are limitations, they are keen to participate in the BLA. The findings of this study will help HLIs to understand the readiness level of lecturers towards BLA, explicate how face-to-face and online classes could be integrated besides accommodates the loopholes in the system.

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran keefektifan sekolah dilihat dari delapan standar nasional pendidikan. mengetahui tingkat ketecapaian keefektifan sekolahdilihat dari delapan standar nasional pendidikan dan mengetahui dari kedelapan standartnasional pendidikan butir mana disetiap standart yang masih perlu mendapatkan perhatiansecara serius. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalahmetode survai yakni upayamengumpulkan informasi dari responden yang merupakan contoh dengan menggunakankuesioner yang terstruktur. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah jumlah satuan pendidikanSekolah Mengengah Pertama (SMP) sebanyak 349 sekolah yang bersatatus sekolah negeriyang menyebar di wilayah eks karesidenan Surakarta. Sampel diambil sebanyak 172 sekolahdengan pendekatan area probability sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian inimerupakan kuesioner tertutup dengan skala likert. Setelah data terkumpul kemudian dianalisisdengan pendekatan kuantitatif secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dilihatdari standar isi; standar proses; standar kompetensi kelulusan; standar pendidikan dan tenagakependididkan; standar sarana dan prasarana ; standar pengelolaan; standar pembiayaan; danstandar penilaian sudah cukup baik. Ketercapaian delapan standar nasional pendidikan seluruhsekolah sampel sudah mencapai tingkat yang cukup tinggi yakni di atas 90%, kendati masihada beberapa dari sub butir standart yang masih perlu lebih diperbaiki Abstract:The aim of this research is to discover the school effectiveness seen from eightcomponents of standards of national education. From these eight components, we will find outwhich components still need to be regenerated. This research is using survey method bystructured questionnaire to gather information from respondents. The population is 349Government Junior High Schools in a region of ex Surakarta Residence. Total of samples frompopulation is 172 schools, using area probability sampling approach. To collect the data, weused closed questionnaire with Likert scale as the instrument. After all data collected, then weanalyze it descriptively with quantitative approach. The result shown that all the componentsof standards of national education, including content standards; process standards;competence of graduates standards; educational standards and human resource standards;facilities standards; management standards; funding standards; and assesment standards arefairly good. The achievement of eight standards of national education from all sample schoolsalready achieved high level, i.e. above than 90%. But still there are several sub componentsneeds to be regenerated.

Patient satisfaction at the hospital is a benchmark that is a benchmark for patients in getting health care. Each hospital must run a variety of strategies so that patients feel satisfied with health services, one of the strategies is through a good corporate image and trust, where a good corporate image can increase trust. So that affecting patient satisfaction Mitra Medika Narom Hospital Kabupaten Bekasi.             This research was conducted with descriptive and verification methods, namely knowing, analyzing, explaining and testing hypotheses, and making conclusions and suggestions. The sample in this study amounted to 240 respondents using the Eksplanary Survey method. Data analysis techniques used are ordinal scale techniques and path analysis using the Method of Successive Interval (MSI) tool, Microsoft Excel 2016 computer programs and SPSS 16.             The results of this study reveal that the company's image at the Mitra Medika Narom Hospital in Kabupaten Bekasi is in the agreed criteria, meaning that Mitra Medika Narom Hospital has built and made a good company image so that it is better known to all people. Furthermore, trust in Mitra Medika Narom Hospital in Kabupaten Bekasi is in the agreed criteria, meaning that Mitra Medika Narom Hospital has succeeded in building a good and optimal Trust so that patients trust Mitra Medika Narom Hospital to obtain health services. Then the patient satisfaction at the Mitra Medika Narom Hospital in Kabupaten Bekasi is in the agreed criteria, meaning that the patients as respondents feel a high level of satisfaction after completing treatment at the Mitra Medika Narom Hospital. There is a positive, strong and two-way correlation between company image and trust variables of 0.646. There is a partial influence of company image on patient satisfaction at Mitra Medika Narom Hospital significantly by 11.98%. There is a partial influence of trust on patient satisfaction at Mitra Medika Narom Hospital significantly by 25.08%. Then there is a simultan influence of corporate image and trust on patient satisfaction at Mitra Medika Narom Hospital positively and significantly by 37.06% while the remaining 62.94% is contributed by other variables not examined

The purpose of this study is to investigate the extent to which librarians in Nigeria engaged in professional development workshops during the COVID-19 era. The study adopted a survey method using an online questionnaire. Factors such as saving money, the free nature of workshops, eliminating travel risk, in the comfort of the home, and providing an opportunity for all were mentioned as the benefits of participating in online workshops using Zoom. Buying data bundle, lack of computer/Android phone/smartphone, ignorance or lack of awareness of up-coming workshops, lack of time, power outage, nonchalant attitude towards technology, and network failures were identified as challenges of participation. The Zoom platform can be adopted for organizing workshops and meetings, and for teaching and learning in the post COVID-19 era.

There are various factors influencing a student’s academic achievement at any level, either primary, secondary or tertiary. These factors include attitudes, learning techniques, general interest in the subject matter, factors related to teacher, family or friends, previous achievements, teaching and learning environment and facilities, infrastructure, and teaching methods. This article explores factors affecting the achievement of student of a course offered in the economic program of universitiutaramalaysia. For this article, a total of 220 students who registered for macroeconomics course at universitiutaramalaysia were randomly selected to be the study sample. of the 220 responses, only 211 were analysed because some questionnaire forms was returned with incomplete information. these students consist of second, third and fourth year students. The study found that among the items in the lecturer preparation factor which came with high mean scores is the item "lecturer shows dedication in teaching". There is no denying that teaching and learning methods incorporating the latest technology and trends are desirable but the study shows that teaching using longstanding approach like using whiteboards is still preferable among students and gives the highest mean value of 7.44, which is a high level score. In terms of learning techniques, the study found that students are not consistent between the goals to achieve excellence with the appropriate effort taken by them. although they want to achieve high excellence in this subject but their efforts and actions are not inclined to that desire

BackgroundCreating a conducive environment for learning cultivates engaged and independent learners, allowing for high-level learning (Warren, 2004). When assessing the diverse Psychology courses that exist, the evaluation of Research Methods (RM) teaching and its associated pedagogies is high on the agenda of college based Higher Education (Burton & Schonfield, 2011). ObjectiveThis study aimed at exploring what range of teaching and learning activities (TLA’s) promote effective learning of RM among Psychology students. Additionally, it aimed to understand, from a student perspective, what ‘effective learning’ meant in the context of RM. MethodA mixed methods approach comprising of both surveys as well as focus groups was conducted with undergraduate Psychology students. Thematic analysis and basic frequencies were used to analyse data. Results Results demonstrated that both student and teacher-led activities were beneficial and worked complementarily for students in their understanding of the subject whilst serving different purposes. Practical labs and class exercises were the top activities highlighted (student-led) followed by lectures and flow chart concept checks (teacher-led). Furthermore, ‘effective learning’ encapsulated not just a long-term knowledge acquisition of concepts but the ability to apply one’s knowledge to the wider context. Conclusion and teaching implication Findings are in line with the Conception of Learning which has a nested hierarchy consisting of both surface learning elements and deep learning (Marton,Dall’Alba & Beaty, 1993). RM has been identified as a difficult subject to teach as well for students to learn (Gray et al., 2015) and as a result this study teases apart some of the most beneficial techniques from a student perspective to be considered when designing the structure and delivery of RM courses.
