Professional Deformation of Teachers and Manifestations of Antisocial Forms of Pupils’ Behavior

It is scientifically proven that teacher’s professional activity can have not only constructive, developmental impact on pupils and him/herself, but also destructive one, causing mental conditions (burnout, exhaustion) that reduce teacher’s efficiency (deviation) and change the system of his/her personality features (deformation). Despite the importance and the effectiveness of the researches that have been already conducted, the problem of the influence of teacher’s professional deformations on the manifestations of students’ antisocial behavior (aggression, cruelty, violence) remains insufficiently studied. An important component of this issue is to consider various factors (internal and external) that affect appearance and spreading of aggressive behavior among teenagers: from psychological pressure (mobbing) to cruel and cynical aggression. Our experimental study had two stages: ascertaining and forming ones. The results showed that aggressive behavior models adopted and accepted by teenagers were strongly influenced by teachers’ educational modes. The unfavorable changes of teacher’s psychological experience (professional deformations) manifested in stagnation, regression, depersonalization, negative impact on students’ development and behavior. At the second stage – the forming one – we identified three main directions of psychological work. The first direction was corrective and developing work with teenagers. The second direction was work with teachers in order to prevent and correct professional deformation. The third direction was polysubject interaction "teacher–pupil". The effectiveness of the work carried out was proven by significant changes not only in pupils’ behavior, but also in teachers’ collaboration with teenagers. Abstract: The presence of epistemology in western philosophy is very influential in life, especially in regulating the strategy of power or power to achieve goals. The style of western thought brought a big change in the knowledge of thinking, perspectives, and behavior that became the motors of civilization. Two main influential schools in the study of western philosophy such as rationalism and empiricism are conflicting. Both favor reason and five senses, but also inseparable from the weaknesses of each that will be revealed by researchers. Likewise the negative impact behind the superiority of western epistemology on the nature and development and existence of humans.

Current approaches to player profiling are limited in that they typically employ only a single one of numerous of available techniques shown to have utility for categorizing and explaining player behavior. We propose a more comprehensive Video Game Player Profile Framework that considers the demographic, psychographic, mental model, and behavioral modeling approaches shown to be effective for describing gamer populations. We suggest that our proposed approach can improve the efficacy of video game player profiles by grounding data-driven techniques in game analytics with the theoretical backing of demographic, psychometric, and psychographic measurements. We provide an overview of our proposed framework, discuss the usage and relevance of each component technique, and provide a proof-of-concept demonstration with archived data.

Background. The coordination development level influences the execution of any human activity, which is very important for the general perception of this activity and behavior in general. It is especially relevant for to coaches in wellness and sports gymnastics. The aim of the present study was the identification of the coordination skills of coaches of different types of gymnastics, which would improve the process of their professional training. Material and Methods. This review presents a synthesis of research conducted by the author. The following methods of theoretical research were used: abstract and axiomatic methods, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, idealization, comparison and generalization, and projecting. Results. The coaches’ training in different types of gymnastics includes the development of a wide range of professional skills: the tandem of communicative and motor skills that determine one type of complex coordination. The realization of complex coordination presupposes the participation of sensor systems (analyzer systems), which are visual, auditory, tactile, vestibular, and motor systems. The basic speech component of complex coordination in coaches’ activity/behavior determines his/her communicative orientation in the process of teaching. It is explained by the connection between the cultivation of complex coordination skills with the congenital and genetic, anatomical and physiological particularities of the human organism. We determined the coordination abilities, the formation of which contributes to the development of complex coordination skills. Conclusion. Development of integrative coordination abilities is an important part of professional activity of coaches of gymnastics, which requires such preparation.

The article presents a study of traumatic experiences by high-class athletes (members of the Russian national teams). Data on the subjective sensations of athletes who have suffered from injury of the musculoskeletal system are obtained, patterns in the perception of the consequences of an injury event are revealed. Also we present data on the attitude of athletes to injury in the aspect of professional activity. The analyzed information is an important component in the development of personalized programs for the prevention of reinjury in elite sports.Objective: to assess the psychoemotional experiences of sports trauma by elite athletes in the process of rehabilitation treatment after the musculoskeletal system injury.Materials and methods: a specially developed medical and psychological interview was conducted with athletes-members of the sports national Russian Federation teams, who are inpatient treatment in the sports traumatology department, in order to obtain primary subjective information from the athlete about his presentation of his own experiences of a traumatic episode. Further, the information obtained from the interviews was analyzed and grouped for further evaluation.Results: we state the significant influence exerted by the previous traumatic experience on the future life and professional activity of an athlete. Moreover, the influence can be both negative (fear, anxiety, kinesiophobia, uncertainty in sports-specific movements) and positive (acquired skills of coping with traumatic experiences, gaining new knowledge about one’s physical and psychological capabilities).Conclusions: thus, despite the diversity of individual reactions of athletes to injury, different life situations, sports and traumatic events, it is possible to identify general patterns in the perception of elite athletes of the injury itself, as well as the entire process of recovery and return to sports. This information is very important both for minimizing the negative impact of a sports injury on the psychological recovery of an athlete by switching his attention to identifying the “positive” consequences of the injury, and for the prevention of repeated injuries in elite sports.

In order to improve the performance of alliance collaborative innovation and stimulate members' willingness and behavior to participate in collaborative innovation, this paper puts forward the incentive mechanism of benefit distribution. This paper divides the needs of members to participate in collaborative innovation into two stages: "risk avoidance-return on investment". Firstly, an effective benefit distribution model is established by using Logistic function. Then, by building a game model, we can get the best effort. The results show that building the benefit distribution model of alliance collaborative innovation according to the different needs of alliance members can fully stimulate members to participate in collaborative innovation and improve the performance of alliance collaborative innovation.

Humans commonly punish exploitative group members but punishment is also frequently targeted at cooperative individuals. The proclivity for ‘antisocial punishment’ varies widely across societies, although the reasons for this variation remain unclear. Here, we identify personality factors associated with antisocial punishment, using a joy-of-destruction game with participants from India and the USA. This game allows players to harm one another, by destroying the partner’s earnings, without any strategic incentive for doing so. High Dark Triad scores, implying the presence of personality traits underlying selfish and aggressive behavior, predicted destruction in this game. Participants from India scored higher on the Dark Triad scale than players from the USA, and were more likely than US-based participants to destroy the partner’s endowment. These data suggest that Dark Triad personality traits could be a proximate explanation for antisocial behavior.

The article considers general tendencies in world and Russian education, and also both principles and methods of forming professional, communicative, intercultural competences and in the process of teaching foreign language for professional purposes in the conditions of engineering, economic and other non-linguistic specialties at technical university. The article views some essential issues of this competence including awareness of pedagogical values, the construction of the pedagogical process, pedagogical communication and behavior; pedagogical technology, its essence, structural components, understanding of innovative components of professional activity, requirements for the design and engineering of pedagogical technologies.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to contribute to the debate on the quality and accreditation of management education by examining the fit between the characteristics of current management academics in Portugal and recognised accreditation standards. For purposes of comparison, the authors use both general Portuguese teaching accreditation standards and specific international standards for management education. Design/methodology/approach – The authors analyse indicators of staff career positioning, tenure status, full time vs part-time, age, degree qualifications, field of training, level of academic inbreeding, internationalisation, research activity, professional activity, and the number of hours taught per week. The authors also examine the relationship between them, in light of accreditation standards, for all academic staff teaching in management degrees submitted for compulsory accreditation by the Portuguese accreditation agency. Findings – The reality found in this study shows gaps between the actual attributes of management academics and what can be considered appropriate attributes, according to the general consensus found in the literature and which is duly mirrored in common “qualified faculties” accreditation standards by Portuguese and international standards (AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS). Research limitations/implications – The findings relate to the Portuguese situation and the analysis developed should be extended to other contexts. Also, while the data, which were collected through a census, has a wide national scope, it only covers one academic year. Practical implications – This work has policy setting implications for degree accreditation and for developing capacity during the transitional periods when universities implement the mandatory minimum standards. It can also help universities to benchmark themselves against their peers as a diagnostic tool for elaborating improvement plans. Social implications – The massification of higher education has led to legitimate concerns about the quality of the services provided, and consequently accreditation procedures were devised to restore trust. However, policy makers must be aware of the impacts of their actions, namely the effects of degree accreditation, as their goals need to be achieved with the minimum negative impact on academic work. Originality/value – The authors work sheds light on the characteristics of those who teach management and how they align with the current accreditation policies that affect academia globally and, in the process, presents empirical evidence from Portugal, which is at a relatively early stage in the accreditation process.

AbstractSchizophrenia is a disease that attacks the nervous system that can cause changes in attitudes and behavior. Schizophrenic patients are prone to have aggressive behavior that can cause a loss of control of a person's behavior that is directed at oneself, others, or the environment. Violent behavior in oneself can take the form of self-injury to commit suicide or allow oneself to be in the form of self-abandonment. One technique to reduce aggressive behavior in schizophrenic patients is the de-escalation technique. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of de-escalation techniques to reduce aggressive behavior in schizophrenic patients based on available literature evidence. The study used a literature review method. The databases used to search articles are Wiley, PubMed, Science Direct, and the Google scolar search engine. Articles are selected based on the suitability of the keywords, topics and inclusion and exclusion criteria that have been determined. The search results obtained as many as 5 articles, 4 articles in Indonesian and 1 in English. The critical review instrument used to assess the quality of the article is the instrument by Hawker. There are findings that de-escalation techniques are effective in reducing aggressiveness in schizophrenic patients. Efforts to reduce aggressive behavior with de-escalation techniques have a more significant effect than those without de-escalation techniques.Keywords: Aggressive behavior, risk of violent behavior, de-escalation technique, Schizophrenia. AbstrakSkizofrenia merupakan penyakit yang menyerang sistem saraf yang dapat menyebabkan perubahan sikap dan perilaku. Pasien skizofrenia rentan memiliki perilaku agresif yang dapat menyebabkan hilangnya kendali perilaku seseorang yang diarahkan pada diri sendiri, oranglain, atau lingkungan. Perilaku kekerasan pada diri sendiri dapat berbentuk melukai diri untuk bunuh diri atau membiarkan diri dalam bentuk penelantaran diri. Salah satu teknik untuk mengurangi perilaku agresif pada pasien skizofrenia adalah dengan teknik deeskalasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas teknik deeskalasi untuk mengurangi perilaku agresif pada pasien skizofrenia berdasarkan literatur evidence yang tersedia. Penelitian menggunakan metode literature review. Database yang digunakan untuk pencarian artikel adalah Wiley, PubMed, Science Direct, serta mesin pencarian Google scolar. Artikel diseleksi berdasarkan kesesuaian dengan kata kunci, topik serta kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi yang telah ditentukan. Hasil penelusuran didapatkan sebanyak 5 artikel, 4 artikel berbahasa Indonesia dan 1 berbahasa inggris. Instrumen telaah kritis yang digunakan untuk menelaah kualitas artikel adalah instrumen oleh Hawker. Terdapat temuan bahwa teknik deeskalasi efektif dalam mengurangi agresifitas pada pasien skizofrenia. Upaya untuk menurunkan perilaku agresif dengan teknik de-esakalasi memberikan pengaruh lebih signifikan dibandingkan dengan yang tidak diberikan teknik de-eskalasi. Family is an important institution to build a person's personality, morality, value and attitude. When this institution communicates properly, it shows the impact e.g. a boy or a girl becomes social human being. Unfortunately in our family gender biasness is reinforced continuously by starting to behave differently with boys and girls from the childhood. Parents communicate with them in a different way which constructs the traits of “masculinity” and “femininity”. Girls are compelled to learn the feminine role with politeness, submissiveness and their mobility is restricted in public world. It is a family which trains a girl to be a good mother, wife, sister or daughter, on the other hand a boy learns to be social, intellectual, able to run the world and strong. This different formation of role and behavior results in the ongoing discrimination everywhere in the society. This reinforcement is sort of relief from social stigmatization but has overall negative impact on life and through this family can be counted as the main birthplace of discrimination against women. Girls and boys must be raised neutrally to eradicate the gender differences and ensure the equality.
