This study is based on the low level of students' science process skills. This is because in the learning process that takes place students are more passive role and only receive learning materials provided by the teacher. Model Problem Based Learning is a learning model that is using the problem as a benchmark, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) on Science process skills To the material of the respiratory system in the class XI on SMA PGRI Prabumulih. This research uses quasi-experimental research (Quasi Experimental Reasearch) using descriptive quantitative data analysis techniques. The instrument used in this research is the test and performance assessment. Analysis of the data from the two classes using t-test Independen Sampel t test Analysis of the data from the two classes using t-test with independent testing samples test-t with t count> t table (2,066> 2,000), then H 0 rejected and H a accepted, which means that the model of problem based learning affects the students' science process skills, and Paired sample t-test in experimental class with the value t count <t table (-6.353 <-2.045), then Ho is rejected it means there is a difference science process skills between before and after the implementation of the learning model of problem-based learning. It was concluded that model of problem based learning It was concluded that model of problem based learning affects on the material respiratory system science process skills of students in class XI SMA PGRI Prabumulih.

One ability that students must master is problem solving. Increasing students’ problem-solving ability will improve their mindset. The alternative used to increase students’ problem-solving ability is applying Problem Based Learning model. This study aims to understand the presence or absence of the application of the model of the application of Problem Based Learning to the problem solving of students of class VII PGRI (Equated) Sungguminasa. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design of the Control Posttest Group. The population in this study in all VII class SMP PGRI (Disamakan) Sungguminasa and selected class VII A as an experimental class with consultations with the Problem Based Learning model and class VII C as a control class with training in direct learning models involving the community. The technique of collecting data in this study is the test then analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistics using the t test (Independent Sample t-test). Based on the results of the study concluded that the Problem Based Learning model determines the problem-solving abilities of students of class VII SMP PGRI (Disamakan) Sungguminasa.AbstrakSalah satu kemampuan yang harus dikuasai oleh siswa adalah pemecahan masalah. Meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah akan berpengaruh pada peningkatan mindset siswa. Salah satu cara yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemapuan pemecahan masalah siswa adalah dengan mengaplikasikan model Problem Based Learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh penerapan model Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VII SMP PGRI (Disamakan) Sungguminasa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain Control Group Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh kelas VII SMP PGRI (Disamakan) Sungguminasa dan terpilih kelas VII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan perlakuan model Problem Based Learning dan kelas VII C sebagai kelas kontrol dengan perlakuan model pembelajaran langsung yang mewakili populasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu tes kemudian dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan uji t (Independent Sample t-test). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa model Problem Based Learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VII SMP PGRI (Disamakan) Sungguminasa.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) menganalisis pengaruh model problem based learning ditinjau dari motivasi belajar fisika, 2) menganalisis pengaruh model problem based learning ditinjau dari keterampilan proses sains siswa, 3) menganalisis pengaruh model problem based learning terhadap motivasi belajar dan keterampilan proses sains siswa ditinjau dari tingkatan kelas, dan 4) menganalisis pengaruh model problem based learning terhadap motivasi belajar dan keterampilan proses sains siswa ditinjau dari materi pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian yang diterapkan pada penelitian ini adalah meta analisis. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu : 1) model pembelajaran problem based learning memberikan pengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar fisika siswa SMA dengan rata-rata effect size 0,73 kategori sedang, 2) model pembelajaran problem based learning memberikan pengaruh terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa dengan effect size 0,62 kategori sedang, 3) model pembelajaran problem based learning memberikan pengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar dan keterampilan proses sains fisika pada tingkatan kelas X, XI dan XII dengan effect size 0,86 kategori tinggi, 0,47 kategori sedang dan 0,28 kategori sedang, dan 4) model pembelajaran problem based learning memberikan pengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar dan keterampilan proses sains pada materi listrik dinamis dengan effect size 2,02 kategori tinggi. Kata kunci: Problem Based Learning; Motivasi; Keterampilan Proses Sains. ABSTRACTThis study aims to 1) analyze the effect of the problem based learning model in terms of motivation to learn physics, 2) analyze the effect of the problem based learning model in terms of students' science process skills, 3) analyze the effect of the problem based learning model on students' learning motivation and science process skills in terms of from the grade level, and 4) analyzing the effect of the problem based learning model on students' learning motivation and science process skills in terms of learning materials. The type of research applied in this study is a meta-analysis. The results of this study are: 1) the problem based learning model has an influence on the motivation to learn physics for high school students with an average effect size of 0.73 in the medium category, 2) the problem based learning model has an effect on students' science process skills with an effect size 0.62 medium category, 3) problem based learning learning model has an influence on learning motivation and physics science process skills at the level of class X, XI and XII with an effect size of 0.86 high category, 0.47 medium category and 0.28 category medium, and 4) the problem based learning model has an influence on learning motivation and science process skills on dynamic electrical material with an effect size of 2.02 in the high category. Keywords: Problem Based Learning; Motivation; Science Process Skills.

This study aims to determine the effect of problem based learning model with debriefing prior knowledge of the science process skills of learners. This research is a quasi experimental research using non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study is all students of class XI IPA SMAN 1 Montong Gading. The sampling of the research using saturated sampling technique, so that the selected class XI IPA 1 as the experimental class will be given treatment in the form of problem-based learning model with initial knowledge knowledge and class XI IPA 2 as the control class to be given treatment in the form of problem-based learning model. Data collection of science process skills using observation techniques on the observation sheet. Hypothesis test using t-pooled variance test obtained tcount value is greater than ttable. The result of the research shows that the use of problem-based learning model with prior knowledge sharing influences the science process skill of SMA students.

This study aims to determine the students’ science process skills towards Salt Hydrolysis material in class XI IPA of SMA Katolik Talino Ambawang before and after being given the problem-posing learning model by using Ferris wheel hydrolysis and how much it improves the skills. It is a pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling, of which the subjects are 12 students of XI IPA. The normality test used on the pretest and posttest results is the Shapiro-Wilk test, which results in a normal distribution, Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) greater than 0,05 with a significance pretest of 0,197 and postest of 0,547. The t-test results of the pairing sample indicate that the Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value is less than 0.05, which is 0,000 < 0.05. It was concluded that there is a difference between the students’ science process before and after the treatment. The mean scores of the students’ skills before and after the treatment are respectively 45,69% and 82,36%, with a high category. The value of 0,68 from the N-Gain calculation showed that the problem-posing learning model using Ferris wheel hydrolysis on Salt Hydrolysis material improved the students’ skills with the medium category.

Abstract The GI-GI learning model is a combination of the Group Investigation and the Guided Inquiry model. The research aimed to examine the effect of the GI-GI learning model on collaboration and students’ science process skills. The type of research carried out was Quasi-Experimental and used a post-test only control group design and purposive sampling covering four high schools in the Besuki Residency, two classes as the experimental class and the control class. The research instrument used tests, observations, and documentation. The results showed a significant effect of the GI-GI learning model on collaboration and students’ science process skills. This research implies that the GI-GI learning model can condition students to research in groups to interact actively with friends and educators to exchange opinions, knowledge, or experiences, find and solve problems, and hypothesize through investigation, exploration, and discussion outside or inside in class.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mngetahui efektifitas model problem based learning (PBL) terintegrasi STEM terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V SD. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitaif eksperimen. Desain yang akan digunakan yaitu Quasi Experimental Design dengan jenis penelitian Posttest Only Control Design. Ada dua kelompok yang akan diteliti yaitu kelas kontrol merupakan kelompok kelas yang menggunakan model PBL tidak terintegrasi STEM dan kelas eksperimen merupakan kelompok kelas yang menggunakan model PBL terintegrasi STEM. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 2 Klampisan Ngawi yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Hasil penelitian dengan pengujian independen sampel t test menunjukkan bahwa Fhitung = 2,20 dan Ftabel =2,02 dimana Fhitung lebih besar dari Ftabel (2,20 > 2,02) sehingga Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model PBL terintegrasi STEM efektif terhadap kemampuan berpikir siswa kelas V di SDN 02 Klampisan.

Introduction: Roselle plants (Hibiscus sabdariffa) is one of the herbs that began to be used by the community. Benefits of this plant is quite a lot for health. The portion taken for consumption is the red flower petals. oselle tea is one of the sour beverages which can affect the salivary gland secretion. The purpose of this study is to analyzed the difference of salivary volume before and after drinking roselle tea. Methods: This study has been conducted to 40 students of Faculty of Dentistry, Padjadjaran University, ranging from 18-23 years of age with good general condition. This study is quasi-experimental in vitro study using the paired test analysis with α = 0,05 of the data collected from salivary volume. Results: The result of study indicates that the average of salivary volume before drinking roselle tea is 1,90 milliliter. After drinking roselle tea, the average of salivary volume is 4,54 milliliter. The result of paired test analysis shows that t-test is 16,172 and t-table is 2,022. The value of t-test > t-table. Result of statistic shown there is significant difference of salivary volume before and after drinking roselle tea. Conclusion: There is a difference of salivary volume before and after drinking roselle tea.

This study aims to determine the effect of practicum-based direct learning model on science process skills and students' critical thinking skills. This study is a quasi-experimental research with the Pretest-posttest Control Group Design. The sampling technique using Cluster Random Sampling. The sample in this study were students of class XI IPA 1 (18 students) as the experimental class and class XI IPA 2 (18 students) as the control class in AL-Hamzar High School Tembeng Putik. The research instruments used were learning implementation observation sheets, the science process skills observation sheets, and learning achievements tests. The data obtained were analyzed using the t test with the help of SPSS 16. The results of data analysis showed that the implementation of learning in the first meeting reached 81% and the second meeting 96% with a very good category. The students’ science process skills in both classes show that students' science process skills varies. The students’ critical thinking ability in the experimental class was higher than the control class. The results of pretest data analysis showed that students' critical thinking ability in the experimental class was 35.5 while the control class was 49.5. Students' critical thinking ability in post-test increased in the experimental class to 73.5 while the control class was 58.6. The results of the t-test show that tcount > ttable (3.45 > 2.04) so it can be concluded that the practicum-based direct learning model was affect toward students' science process skills and  critical thinking ability.

This research aimed to find out the effectiveness of experiential learning (EL) model with mind mapping to improve the science process skills (SPS) on fungi materials. It was quasi-experiment research by using pre-test post-test control group design. The population of the study was all of the tenth-grade students of Kalasan State 1 Senior High School amount of 127 students in the odd semester in 2018/2019 of the school year. Sample techniques were cluster random sampling. The sample consisted of 26 students (10 students male and 16 students female) as the experiment class by implementing EL model with mind mapping and 26 students (9 students male and 17 students female) as control class by using 5M (observing, asking, collecting, associating, communicating) learning model. The used instrument was ten essay questions. The data of the research were analyzed by using t-test (independent sample t-test). Based on the result of the normalized gain score, it showed that there was an improve of SPS about 0,85 in the experiment class higher than that in the control class about 0,70. Besides, it also showed a significant value (2-tailed) that was 0,000 (<0,05). It meant that there was a difference in science process skills between the experiment class and control class, so the learning process through EL learning model with mind mapping proved useful to improve the students’ science process skills.
