The research aims to describe the skill of Islamic education student in developing learning and innovation skills of student through a scientific approach. This study used a qualitative method based on descriptive analytic. The subjects of this research were 20 Islamic education students of Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University and North Sumatera State Islamic University who were carrying out practice of teaching in school. The subjects were chosen based on the the purpose of this study, thus the subjects were only students who used a scientific approach. Data collection is done by using interviews, observation, and study documentation. The study was conducted in July to October 2019. The results of this study showed that the ability of Islamic education students to observing aspects 80.63%, questioning aspects 75%, information gathering aspects (experimenting) 65%, reasoning/ associating aspects 78%, and communicating (comunicating) aspects 51.67% . Furthermore, in the average, the overall learning activity was carried out by islamic education teacher prospective students in developing learning and innovation skills with a scientific approach of 70.06% was achieved in a good category.

This article aims to examine the concept of ‘aql based on the neuroscience and the Qur’an perspective, the implications to the scientific approach in the Islamic education as well. This article is a literature review with a descriptive qualitative approach. The technique of data collection was done by analytic descriptive by using the related themes as the data. The results of the study indicate that reasoning function is equivalent to brain function. Brain optimization not only makes students smart rationally but also emotionally and spiritually. The equality of ‘aql and brain functions will produce the students who have a good skill of life. These skills include specific skills and the three pillars of students' success such as knowledge, skills, and motivation. These three pillars form a superior personality, which called as ulil albab in the Qur’an perspective.

The competency of the teacher can contribute or increase learning achievement can be an active example of inofative criminative and have high integration in school. The purpose of this research is to know the role of the PAI master competence in enhancing student learning achievement.  This research uses the method of decriptif with a qualitative approach, data collection techniques using observations, interviews and documentation studies. Research subjects are the principals and teachers of PAI. The results of the study showed: (1). Pedagogic competence, (2). Personality Competencies (3). Social competence and (4). Professional competence.

Abstract: This research was conducted to find out the learning media used by islamic education teachers in implementing online learning. This online learning is carried out throughout schools in Indonesia, to prevent the spread of coronavirus (covid-19). The formulation of the problems in this study are: (a) What is the media used by islamic education teachers in Bengkulu in teaching online ?; and (b) What is the response of islamic education teachers in Bengkulu Tengah to online learning ?. This type of research is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The research subjects taken were islamic education teachers in Bengkulu Tengah district. Data collection techniques using online questionnaires. The conclusions obtained in this study are: (a). The media used by islamic education teachers in Bengkulu in teaching online is the Whatsapp application and zoom cloud; and (b) islamic education teacher responses in Bengkulu Tengah to online learning the majority of teachers said that online learning was not effective. Keywords: Online Learning Media, PAI Teachers   Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui media pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru PAI dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran secara daring. Pembelajaran secara daring ini dilakukan diseluruh sekolah di Indonesia, untuk menghambat penyebaran coronavirus (covid-19). Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu: (a) Apa media yang digunakan oleh guru PAI di Bengkulu tengah dalam mengajar secara online?; dan (b) Bagaimana tanggapan guru PAI di Bengkulu Tengah terhadap pembelajaran secara daring?. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian yang diambil adalah guru PAI di kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket secara online. Kesimpula yang didapat dalam penelitian ini yaitu: (a). Media yang digunakan oleh guru PAI di Bengkulu tengah dalam mengajar secara online adalah aplikasi Whatsapp dan zoom cloud; dan (b) Tanggapan guru PAI di Bengkulu Tengah terhadap pembelajaran secara daring mayoritas guru mengatakan bahwa pembelajaran secara daring tidak efektif. This study examines the implementation of moral education in QS. Al-Hujurat verses 11-13 in Sayyid Qutb's Tafsir Fi Zilalil Quran. The purpose of this research is to describe the messages and values ​​of moral education as contained in the letter Al-Hujurat verses 11-13. The benefits of this research are theoretically expected to provide a small contribution of thought or input that is useful for Islamic education, while practically this research is expected to provide a little contribution of thought, especially for researchers and readers in general in understanding the contents of the content or values ​​in the letter. Al-Hujurat verses 11-13. The data collection method in this thesis research is a qualitative method through searching data or library research, library data collection methods, reading and processing research materials. The source of the commentary book Fi Zhilalil Qur'an is supported by secondary sources which are related to the problem. Based on the results of research and data analysis, it can be concluded that: The values ​​of moral education contained in the Al-Hujurat verse 11-13 in the interpretation of Fi Zhilalil qur'an, namely the prohibition of making fun of, criticizing, calling badly, haram and prejudice , backbiting, finding fault with others and equality and ta'aruf. The study found that there are three types of interpretation used by sayyid qutub. The methods used are takhalli, tahalli and tajalli.

Adiwiyata school SMAN 3 Klaten applies Environmental Education to its students which is for better habits towards the environment in a sustainable manner. This cannot be realized in schools because of the emergence COVID-19. This study aims to determine the effect of Environmental Education on SMAN 3 Klaten students in New Normal era. The method used in this study uses a qualitative method with sampling techniques of data collection that is a random sample via Google Form on the students SMAN 3 Klaten. The result of this research is that SMAN 3 Klaten has implemented Environmental Education in New Normal era by learning from home, for example cultivating ornamental fish, cultivating medicinal plants and others. Environmental Education Students SMAN 3 Klaten while learning from the new normal era get innovations in the implementation of PLH not only in schools, students can plant at their house in New Normal era.

Efforts to increase interest in reading Islamic religious education materials through school literacy programs are very important for an educational process of students in the current era of globalization. With the interest in reading students can broaden broad knowledge, such as general knowledge, religion and others and with reading interest activities can also be carried out together with the school literacy program.This process can also foster students' character with reading activities because of the tendency of students towards these activities. The method used is descriptive qualitative method, research This uses purposive sampling, research steps with data collection techniques with interviews. The conclusion obtained in this study is based on the results of the author's research on "Efforts to Increase Interest in Reading Islamic Education Materials" that, Based on this it can be seen the level of interest in reading Islamic religious education materials through the school literacy program at Uswatun Hasanah SMPU greatly increased by performing stages as well as the steps and efforts of teachers in fostering a fondness for reading students at school so that the formation of attitudes that can instill confidence to read critically and be ready to face future challenges.

This study discusses Islamic values revealed in students’ communication in Edmodo learning platform. It investigated whether there was the implementation of Islamic values in the conversation and responses in the learning platform, both implicitly and explicitly. This study also observed the students’ participation in the conversation platform. In the data collection, this study used observation and questionnaire, and the researcher used descriptive approach to analyze the data. There was analysis on the students’ conversation forms in the online platform. The result revealed that the students integrated Islamic values through their communication styles in the online learning activity, in the form of some short expressions and in the content of the conversations. Not only did the values appear explicitly, but they could also be noted implicitly in the sentences which contained suggestions, polite greetings, and consoling others. This study concludes that the students had been able to incorporate Islamic values they learned both formally and informally in their daily communication. Those uses of Islamic terms and the existences of Islamic values in the English online conversation made this group distinctive from other online communities.

Higher order thinking skills (HOTS) is a necessity for teachers and students today. But, HOTS applications often referred to the western worldview. However, studies had shown some elements found in the Qur'an that can lead to the HOTS approach and one of them is tadzakkur. Tadzakkur is a very proximate element to an Islamic Education teacher (IET) and becomes a practice in IET’s teaching. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to introduce a tadzakkur approach which should be addressed by the teachers especially IETs. Using a qualitative method through document analysis, some papers, articles and books were analysed. The findings showed that tadzakkur approach is a very relevant and appropriate approach and must be implemented seriously by IETs to produce the rabbani and ta'dib generation.
