Introduction: Work-related fatigue is a common problem in the workplace that must be solved because it has an impact on the occurrence of workplace accidents, reduces productivity and affects workers’ health. A survey conducted by the National Safety Council on 2010 workers in 2017 stated that 69% of them experienced work-related fatigue and 13% of them could be attributed to workplace accidents. Other studies conducted by O'Neill and Panuwatwanich in 2013 stated the loss that could arise due to work-related fatigue is averaged around $ 1,000/week. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between work climate and physical workload with work-related fatigue on workers in the 5th warehouse of fabrication area of Bangun Sarana Baja Company. Metods: This study is an observational analytic with a cross-sectional approach with 30 respondents who were randomly selected using the simple random sampling method. Measurements of the work climate used heat stress apparatus by calculating the Wet Bulb Globe Temperature, and measurement of physical workload is carried out by observations referring to Indonesian national standard No. 7269 in 2009. Meanwhile, work-related fatigue is measured objectively by using reaction timer. Results: This study indicates the average work climate is exceeding TLV (28.4° C), and the majority of workers got a moderate physical workload (53.3%) and experience mild work-related fatigue (50%). Conclusion: There was no relation between work climate and work-related fatigue (p-value = 0.192) and there was a significant relationship between physical workload and work-related fatigue (p-value = 0.028, r = 0.400). Keywords: physcal workload, work climate, work-related fatigue

Workplaces always have various hazard factors that can affect the health of the workforce or can cause work-related disorders or illnesses. Accidents, the essence is an unexpected event and certainly not expected by anyone. These unexpected events, obviously not a form of intentional and not planned in advance. Accidents arise as a result of managing potential hazards and risks to low occupational safety and health. The purpose of the study was to analyze the factors that influence employee work accidents at PT. Windu Blambangan Sejati (WBS) Banyuwangi Regency. The research design used was cross sectional. The research population is all employees of PT. Windu Blambangan Sejati (WBS) Banyuwangi Regency and a large sample of 81 people using simple random sampling. Data collection using questionnaire sheets was then analyzed using logistic regression tests. The results showed that there was an influence of skills on workplace accidents (p-value = 0.027 <0.05). There is an influence of experience on workplace accidents (p-value = 0.043 <0.05). There is an influence of discipline on workplace accidents (p-value = 0.040 <0.05). There is an influence of Technical factors (availability of equipment) on workplace accidents (p-value = 0.003 <0.05). There is no effect of lay out on work accidents (p-value = 0.420> 0.05). There is no effect of lighting on work accidents (p-value = 0.944> 0.05). There is no noise effect on work accidents (p-value = 0.084> 0.05). Based on these studies, company management pays more attention to these three factors, namely human, technical and environmental by conducting periodic and periodic maintenance

Terminal workers work with physical load activities every day and are in a hot work climate, which has the potential to experience status disturbances, potentially resulting in hydration problems. The purpose of the study was to analyze the relationship between Heat stress and Physical Workload and Hydration Status of Tirtonadi Bus StationWorkers in Surakarta. research design using observational analytic with a cross-sectional approach. A sample of 48 people was taken by simple random sampling technique. Heat stress is measured by heat stress area, physical workload with SNI 726/2009, and hydration status by urine specific gravity examination. the average heat stress measurement results amounted to 34.75 ° C. the correlation between independent and dependent variables shows there is a significant relationship between heat stress and physical workload with hydration status with p-value = 0,000 and r = -0,799, and p-value = 0.028 and r = 0.317. Conclusion: There is a significant correlation between heat stress and hydration status, and there is a significant correlation between physical workload and the hydration status of workers at the Tirtonadi Surakata Terminal.

PT Arto Metal International is one of the metal components manufacturers, where theproduction processes are using machinaries which its operations may lead to accidents. One ofthe effects that can be caused by the production machines might happen if workers are notcareful, they might got pinched by plong engine, etched plates and exposed debris grams.Therefore, this study aims to determine the factors associated with the incidence of workplaceaccidents in this company.The methods used in this study were analytical methods, because this researchexamined the relationship between 2 (two) variables. Based on its times, this study wascategorized as cross-sectional study, due to variables such as risk factors and effect factorswere observed at the same time. Sampling technique was done by simple random sampling,and analysis was used to determine the relationship between 2 (two) variables using Chi Square.The results showed that employees injured at workplace as much as 94.3%. Theresults of analysis of Chi - Square showed that there were four variables significantlyassociated with the incidence of workplace accidents, they were the use of PPD to theincidence of occupational injuries (p value = 0.025), the level of knowledge to the incidence ofoccupational injuries (p value = 0.047), the ages to the incidence of occupational injuries (pvalue 0.025) and the length of services to the incidence of occupational injuries (p value0.005).Therefore, it is suggested that the company perform incident controlling actionswhether technically, administratively as well as adding a number of Personal ProtectiveDevices (PPD) for workers so that all workers can use it while working.Keywords: Workplace Accident, Personal Protective Devices

The port has a fairly dense loading/unloading activity according to the total flow of goods it manages. In addition to high work activities, environment factors such as noise and work climate can also affect the occurrence of work fatigue.  Therefore, this study aims to determine factors associated with work fatigue in loading/unloading workers at the port.  This study uses cross sectional study design with simple random sampling.  Data analysis used the Paired Sample T-Test and Chi-Square test.  The results showed that there was a difference of fatigue before and after work and as many as 71.2% of workers experienced moderate fatigue.  It is known that age (p-value = 0,000), breakfast habits (p-value = 0,000), and years of service (p-value = 0,000) have a significant correlation with work fatigue, while nutritional status (p-value = 0.203), workload (p-value = 0.140), hot work climate (p-value = 0.362), and noise (p-value = 0.880) have no correlation with work fatigue.  It was concluded that age, breakfast habits and work duration were related to work fatigue in loading/unloading labor.  Therefore, workers are advised to be used to have breakfast with the right menu and time and workers should wear hats while working to reduce sun exposure.

Berdasarkan data International Labour Organization (ILO) tahun 2013, satu pekerja di dunia meninggal disebabkan oleh kecelakaan kerja dan 160 pekerja mengalami sakit akibat kerja setiap 15 detik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat karakteristik usia, dan pengetahuan serta hubungan pengetahuan, sikap, lingkungan, pendapatan dan pendidikan dengan perilaku penggunaan alat pelindung diri di PT Sarandi Karya Nugraha Sukabumi. Metode penelitian adalah observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian adalah karyawan PT Sarandi Karya Nugraha Sukabumi yang bekerja di bagian gudang dan processing (n=80) yang diambil secara simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuisioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usia responden paling banyak adalah dewasa awal (18-40 tahun). Responden juga memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang tinggi terhadap APD. Tidak ada hubungan antara pengetahuan (p=0,17), sikap (p=0,84), pendapatan (p=0,27), lingkungan (p=0,61), pendidikan (p=1,00) dengan perilaku penggunaan alat pelindung diri di PT Sarandi Karya Nugraha Sukabumi. RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDE WITH BEHAVIOR OF USING PERSONAL PROTECTICVE EQUIPMENT IN PT SARANDI KARYA NUGRAHA SUKABUMIBased on the 2013 data from the International Labour Organization (ILO), one worker dies due to workplace accidents and 160 workers suffer from work-related injuries every 15 seconds worldwide. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristic of age and knowledge and the relationship between knowledge, attitude, environment, income, education with behavior of using personal protective equipment in PT Sarandi Karya Nugraha Sukabumi. The study was analytic observational study with cross sectional approach. The sample was the employee of PT Sarandi Karya Nugraha who worked in processing department (n=80) with simple random sampling. The instrument of this study was questionnaire. The result of the study was most respondents were early adult (18-40 years old). Respondents had a good knowledge and there was no relationship between knowledge (p=0.17), attitude (p=0.84), income (p=0.27), environment (p=0.61), education (p=1.00) with behavior of using personal protective equipment in PT Sarandi Karya Nugraha Sukabumi.

<p>Iklim lingkungan kerja dengan kondisi yang tidak nyaman dapat mempengaruhi kondisi fisiologis tubuh seperti peningkatan suhu tubuh, tekanan darah dan keringat. Hal ini juga dapat dipengaruhi� oleh karakteristik pekerja seperti umur, laju metabolik,durasi kerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah<br />untuk mengidentifikasi faktor yang berhubungan dengan kondisi fisiologis pada pekerja home industry pembuatan sandal RW 04 Kelurahan Pamoyanan Kecamatan Bogor Selatan Kota Bogor Tahun 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Cross Sectional. Populasi sebanyak 25 bengkel kerja dengan jumlah sampel 69 responden. Teknik nonprobability. Alat yang digunakan<br />adalah lembar kuesioner dan alat untuk mengukur suhu tubuh yaitu thermometer infrared untuk tekanan darah spignomanometer serta Wet Bulb Globe Temperature mengukur iklim lingkungan kerja. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji statistic chi-square. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan<br />bahwa hubungan indeks suhu basah dan bola (p-value=0,001), laju metabolik (p-value 0,002), durasi kerja (p-value=0,024) dengan kondisi fisiologis pekerja. Tidak ada hubungan umur (pvalue=0,751). Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah semakin indeks suhu basah dan bola yang melebihi Nilai Ambang Batas (NAB) dan laju metabolik kategori sedang, beresiko terhadap penurunan kondisi fisiologis tubuh yaitu perubahan suhu tubuh,tekanan darah dan keringat. Disarankan agar pekerja memaksimalkan waktu istirahat optimal mungkin guna mengindari adanya perubahan pada kondisi fisiologis. Saran Memanfaatkan waktu istirahat sebaik mungkin agar stamina tetap terjaga guna menghindari hal yang dapat meningkatan perubahan pada kondisi� fisiologis.</p>

Abstract Background The immigration of nurses in Iran is increasing day by day, and it seems work-related factors such as workload and healthy work environment are associated with the intention to immigration.Objectives this study was conducted to determine the intention to immigration in nurses and its relationship with workload and healthy work environment.Methods This cross-sectional, descriptive-correlational study was conducted in 2020 by simple random sampling method of 360 nurses working in hospitals in Iran. The study instruments were questionnaires of demographics, Intention to immigration (Lee, 2016), Workload (NASA-TLX) and healthy work environment (AACN, 2005). Data were analyzed by SPSS software and descriptive tests. p value < 0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results The score of intention to immigration was 65.59%, which indicated a high level of intention to immigration in nurses. There was a significant but weak correlation between intention to immigrate, with workload (r = 0.166, p = 0.002) and healthy work environment (r = 0.16, p = 0.002).Conclusion there was a weak but important relationship between the intention to immigration, workload and healthy work environment. More studies on factors related to the intention to immigration are required.

Background: Leukoderma is an acquired disease of pigmentation which is presented by depigmented areas of different shape and sizes on the skin. In various researches it was reported that these defects in melanocytes occurred due to autoimmune pathway or the complex causation of oxidative stress and genetics. Material & Methods: In the present cross‑sectional prospective study 100 patients who were diagnosed with Leukoderma and controls who were not having depigmentation of skin and without any known clinical disease were enrolled for present study by simple random sampling. Written informed consent was taken from each study participant. Clearance from institutional ethical committee was also taken prior to the study. Results: The prevalence of psychiatric illness among leukoderma group was 22% and among 78% patients we did not found any psychiatric illness. The most common symptom was depression which was present among 22% of patients with Leukoderma and 18% patients with Leukoderma had anxiety symptoms. Among the control group depression was present in 5 % subjects and anxiety symptoms were present in 7% of subjects. The mean WHO-Quality of life scores was low among Leukoderma group in relation to the control group (p value <0.05). On correlation with psychiatric illness, observations were statistically non-significant (p > 0.05) with HAMA-A and HAMA- D. The observations were statistically significant (p < 0.05) with GHQ total and BSA score. Conclusion:  Higher prevalence of psychitric morbidity among patients with leukoderma and it was found associated with duration of disease and BSA scores. The most common symptom was depression which was followed by anxiety symptoms. Key words: Leukoderma, psychiatric illness, anxiety, depression.

Kinerja perawat merupakan hasil yang dicapai dalam melaksanakan asuhan keperawatan di rumah sakit. Terciptanya asuhan keperawatan yang optimal sangat diperlukan dukungan dari pihak rumah sakit salah satunya adalah menciptakan kualitas kehidupan kerja baik bagi perawat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kualitas kehidupan kerja terhadap kinerja perawat pelaksana di RSUD Teluk Kuantan. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Jumlah sampel 120 responden yang diperoleh melalui proportionate simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kualitas kehidupan kerja perawat RSUD Teluk Kuantan berada pada kategori sedang, kinerja perawat berada pada kategori kurang baik. Berdasarkan analisis kedua variabel teridentifikasi bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara kualitas kehidupan kerja dengan kinerja perawat pelaksana dengan  p value 0,817. Dimensi work context merupakan komponen yang memiliki hubungan dengan kinerja perawat pelaksana dengan p value 0,008, dimensi work life  tidak berhubungan secara signifikan dengan kinerja perawat. Kesimpulan penelitian diketahui tidak ada hubungan antara kualitas kehidupan kerja dengan kinerja perawat pelaksana. Ada hubungan dimensi work context dengan kinerja perawat pelaksana. Tidak ada hubungan dimensi work life dengan kinerja perawat.   Kata kunci: kualitas kehidupan kerja, kinerja, perawat pelaksana   THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE QUALITY OF WORK LIFE AND THE PERFORMANCE OF IMPLEMENTERS NURSES   ABSTRACT Nurse performance is the result achieved in implementing nursing care in a hospital. The creation of optimal nursing care is very much needed support from the hospital, one of which is to create a good quality of work life for nurses. This study aims to determine the relationship between the quality of work life and the performance of nurses at the Kuantan District Hospital. This type of quantitative research with cross sectional approach. The number of samples of 120 respondents obtained through proportionate simple random sampling. The results showed that the quality of work life of nurses at the Kuantan District Hospital was in the medium category, the nurses' performance was in the unfavorable category. Based on the analysis of the two variables, it was identified that there was no relationship between the quality of work life with the performance of implementing nurses with a p value of 0.817. The work context dimension is a component that has a relationship with the performance of nurses implementing with p value 0.008, the dimension of work life does not significantly correlate with nurse performance. The conclusion of the research is that there is no relationship between the quality of work life and the performance of the implementing nurses. There is a relationship between the dimensions of the work context and the performance of the nurses. Deteksi dini kanker serviks salah satunya melalui pemeriksaan Pap Smear, sebagai pemeriksaan sitologi untuk melihat adanya keganasan pada epitel serviks/ porsio. Salah satu masalah pelaksanaan Pap Smear umunya masih disebabkan karena masih rendahnya tingkat pendidikan dan pengetahuan penduduk Indonesia mengenai pemeriksaan Pap Smear. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan Wanita Usia Subur (WUS) dengan motivasi melakukan pemeriksaan Pap Smear di Desa Jetis Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Jimbaran Tahun 2012. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey analitik secara Cross Sectional pada wanita usia subur usia 35-40 tahun di Desa Jetis sebanyak 87 responden diambil dengan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner serta analisis data dengan menggunakan uji korelasi KendallTau (τ).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar tingkat pengetahuan responden tentang Pap Smear kurang yaitu sebesar 62,1% sedangkan motivasi responden untuk melakukan pemeriksaan pap smear sebagian besar rendah yaitu sebesar 86,2%. Ada hubungan yang bermakna antara tingkat pengetahuan wanita usia subur dengan motivasi melakukan pemeriksaan pap smear (p value <0,05) dan nilai τ = 0,281 memiliki makna ada hubungan arah positif, hal ini berarti perubahan pengetahuan yang baik akan mempengaruhi motivasi yang tinggi untuk melakukan pemeriksaan pap smear.
