<p>This study aims to determine the ability of high school (SMA) geography subject teachers in scientific writing in Ketapang Regency. This type of research is survey research which is included in the quantitative category. Therefore, this study uses a sample of one population and uses a questionnaire as an instrument of data collection. The subjects of this study were high school (E) / equivalent level geography subject teachers in Ketapang Regency, which numbered 18 people. Analyzing data is based on the calculation of the percentage of results of filling out questionnaires by respondents. Based on the results of research on the ability of high school level (Geography) subject teachers in scientific writing in Ketapang Regency with the following indicators: 1) the teacher's understanding in making scientific papers has an overall average of 2.5 which is categorized as good; 2) the routine activities that geography subject teachers have done in developing their competencies have an overall average of 2.5 categorized as good; 3) teacher constraints in making scientific papers have an average of 2.38 categorized as less.</p><p>Teacher's Ability, Writing Scientific Work</p>

This research aims at: 1) describing the errors of writing in bahasa Indonesia in outdoor media in Bojonegoro, 2) describing the errors in using foreign elements, and 3) determining the suitability of the results of research with teaching materials of bahasa Indonesia at Junior High School. This research is qualitative descriptive with a sample of articles in outdoor media in Bojonegoro. The sampling technique used was purposive. Data collection techniques used were recording, observation, and note-taking. Data validation techniques used were triangulation and peer assessment. The data analysis technique was an interactive analysis which includes four components, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, the linguistic elements of language errors in outdoor media are related to the use of punctuations, especially a period (.), writing the preposition of “di”, the use of the word “pukul” and “jam”, and abbreviations. Secondly, the type of improper use of foreign terms is dominated by the use of the English and the Javanese. Both languages are used simultaneously on any word or Indonesian phrase. Third, the result of this research can be used as teaching materials of bahasa Indonesia at junior high school level, especially on the subject of spelling and foreign terms (borrowing).Keywords: language error, outdoor media, spelling, foreign terms, teaching materials

During the Covid-19 pandemic, various areas of life experienced changes and adjustments, including in the field of education by conducting distance learning. As a form of adjustment for distance learning, the government and educators use television as a learning medium. The transformation of television as a learning medium is aimed at every level of education, one of which is at the high school level. This study aims to determine the form of television transformation in the perspective of the instrumental rational theory as well as the perspective of students on learning through television. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The results obtained in the form of structured programs during learning through television as a form of instrumental rational action during distance learning as well as the perspective of students with this transformation. Pada masa pandemi Covid-19 berbagai bidang dalam kehidupan mengalami perubahan serta penyesuaian, termasuk pada bidang pendidikan dengan mengadakan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Sebagai bentuk penyesuaian pembelajaran jarak jauh tersebut pihak pemerintah serta pendidik memanfaatkan televisi sebagai media belajar. Transformasi televisi sebagai media belajar ini ditujukan pada setiap jenjang pendidikan, salah satunya pada jenjang sekolah menengah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk transformasi televisi dalam perspektif teori rasional instrumental tersebut serta perspektif peserta didik akan kegiatan belajar memelalui televisi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi serta wawancara. Hasil yang diperoleh berupa adanya program terstruktur selama pembelajaran melalui televisi sebagai bentuk tindakan rasional instrumental selama pembelajaran jarak jauh serta perspektif peserta didik dengan adanya transformasi tersebut.

SMA Darussalam adalah lembaga pendidikan tingkat SLTA yang berada di bawah naungan Pondok Pesantren Darussalam. Dalam proses pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan di SMA tersebut terdapat hambatan yang dialami karena selain mayoritas siswa berasal dari kalangan Pondok Pesantren serta padatnya jadwal dari pondok sendiri tentunya menjadi faktor munculnya hambatan pembelajaran siswa maupun guru disekolah.Untuk mengetahui hambatan-hambatan yang dialami guru maupun siswa Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan hambatan-hambatan yang dialami guru maupun siswa dalam pembelajaran biologi di SMA Darussalam. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara semi terstruktur dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan Conclution Drawing. Keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi tekhnik. Adapun hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan terdapat beberapa hambatan yang dialami guru biologi di SMA Darussalam diantaranya adalah salah memahami kekuatan kepribadian guru  dalam hal kedisiplinan memulai jam pelajaran masih kurang, pandangan pesimis yang dimiliki guru juga tampak, kurangnya media informasi dan terbatasnya sarana dan prasarana yang ada. Adapun hambatan yang dialami siswa diantaranya adalah aspek fisiologis, rendahnya tingkat intelegensi, hambatan dari segi sikap siswa juga terlihat karena siswa sering tidur di kelas dan faktor eksternal yang menghambat siswa juga tampak terlihat dalam aspek lingkungan non sosial khususnya pada lingkungan belajar yang kurang mendukung. Kata kunci: Hambatan  Guru, Hambatan Siswa, Pembelajaran Biologi. SMA Darussalam is a high school level educational institution under the auspices of the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School. In the learning process carried out in high school there are obstacles experienced because in addition to the majority of students coming from the Islamic boarding schools and the tight schedule from the boarding school itself, of course it is a factor in the emergence of learning barriers for students and teachers at school. To find out the obstacles experienced by teachers and students. is to describe the obstacles experienced by teachers and students in learning biology at SMA Darussalam. This research approach uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. The data collection technique used observation, semi-structured interviews and documentation. Data analysis was performed by data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data was done by triangulation of sources and triangulation of techniques. As for the results of the research that has been done, there are several obstacles experienced by biology teachers at SMA Darussalam, including the misunderstanding of the strength of the teacher's personality in terms of discipline in starting class hours is still lacking, the teacher's pessimistic view is also evident, the lack of information media and the limited facilities and infrastructure available. The obstacles experienced by students include physiological aspects, low levels of intelligence, barriers in terms of student attitudes are also seen because students often sleep in class and external factors that hinder students are also seen in non-social environmental aspects, especially in less supportive learning environments. Determination of the sample used purposive sampling of 4 experts and 122 high school level students. To reveal validity is assessed based on obtain judgment expert and reliability measured by internal consistency. It was gained that the validity is 7 items very feasible and 3 item quite feasible with reliability’s value is 0.763. It showed that all items can be used to analyzing the difficulties of students for designing ecological learning scientific literacy oriented’s lesson plans.

This study aims to (1) know the Student’s Comprehension in scientific papers, (2) to know the problem of the scientific work of the students and (3) to know some factors become the node in the paper the scientific work. The method in this research is qualitative descriptive. Techniques used in data collection is by documentation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results of this study are (1) The understanding of the students in scientific writing is 75% or the category is good enough, (2) The difficulties of students in Comprehension of scientific paper thesis proposal is being developed again, added problem, preparing hypothesis, data analysis, preparation of research design, and description of instrument that will be used in the research, (3) factors that become solution in writing scientific papers, among others, the conclusion of learning resources; the quality of negative thesis guidance is: misconceptions between supervisors with researchers, other busy lecturers, too many revisions in the proposal, and the replacement of mentors; and peer environments are: a sense of friends who have not made a thesis and hard to divide the time for working while studying.

Karya tulis ilmiah (KTI) merupakan karya ilmiah yang ditulis dengan mengikuti kaidah ilmiah. Kaidah ilmiah sebagai syarat utama dalam penulisan sebuah karya dimaksudkan agar karya yang dihasilkan dapat dipertanggung jawabkan secara ilmiah. Tujuan kegiatan pelatihan penulisan karya tulis ilmiah yaitu menumbuhkan minat, semangat, serta ide kreatif dan inovatif dari siswa-siswi kelas X dan XI SMAN 5 Samarinda untuk menghasilkan sebuah karya ilmiah yang sesuai dengan kaidah penulisan. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan berjalan dengan baik dan mendapat dukungan penuh dari pihak sekolah. Seluruh peserta pelatihan mengikuti kegiatan hingga akhir dengan tingkat kehadiran sebesar 100%. Peserta kegiatan antusias untuk bertanya, mengeksplorasi ide, serta mengemukakan pendapat. Dengan demikian, kedepannya diharapkan adanya kegiatan lanjutan dengan melibatkan guru pendamping untuk mengoptimalkan perannya dalam penyusunan karya tulis ilmiah bagi peserta didik.Kata Kunci: kaidah ilmiah, KTI, peserta didik. Training on Writing Scientific Papers to Encourage Quality Improvement of High School Level Students ABSTRACT The scientific paper is an essay written by following scientific rules that are the main requirement so that the resulting essay can be justified scientifically. The purpose of the training is to increase the interest, enthusiasm, creative, and innovative ideas from students of class X and XI of SMAN 5 Samarinda to create a scientific paper that is following the rules. Based on the implementation of the training, it can be concluded that it is run well and received support from the school. All participants follow this activity until the end with an attendance rate of 100%. They are enthusiastic to ask, explore, and express their ideas and opinions. Then, in the future, it is expected that there will be further activities involving the teachers to optimization the role of assistants to create their student’s scientific papers.Keywords: scientific paper,scientific rules, students.
