The study aimed: (1) to describe the steps in applying Quantum Teaching, (2) to improve natural science learning outcomes through the application of the Quantum Teaching, and (3) to analyze the obstacles and solutions in applying Quantum Teaching. It was a collaborative classroom action research (CAR) conducted in three cycles. The subjects were teachers and students. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and tests. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that: (1) the six steps to the application of Quantum Teaching were Grow, Experience, Name, Demonstrate, Repeat, Celebrate; (2) the application of Quantum Teaching improved natural science learning outcomes in theme “environment of our friends”. The increasing of student’s learning outcomes were 82.61% in the first cycle, 85.66% in the second cycle, and 86.08% in the third cycle; (3) the obstacles were: the teacher had not implemented steps: Name and celebrate, students were less confident, students did not conduct discussions, students were passive, students made some noises, learning materials were inadequate. The solutions were: the teacher applied Quantum Teaching steps appropriately, the teacher motivated the students to be more confident, the teacher guided the students in discussion, the teacher reprimanded students who made noises, the teacher prepared the learning materials before class began. It concludes that the application of Quantum Teaching improves natural science learning outcomes in theme “environment of our friends” to fifth grade students of SDN Girimargo 1 in academic year of 2020/2021.

Keywords: Quantum Teaching, learning outcomes, natural science

The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of basic kick motion skills in pencak silat through variations of the basic 'T' and front kick motion using assistive media in fifth grade students of SDN Pinggir Papas I in the 2020/2021 academic year. This research was a Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research was carried out using one cycle, if the desired results have not been achieved then the following cycle is continued, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The subjects of this study were twenty-four students of grade five SDN Pinggir Papas I for the 2020/2021 academic year. The data sources came from teachers and students. Data collection by front kick pencak silat and activity observation during the teaching and learning activities of kicks in pencak silat using learning aids. The data in this study were in the form of quantitative and qualitative data. In this research, it produces data on the improvement of students in learning the basic movements of the T kick and front of the pencak silat with variations and learning aids. The achievement of completeness of the learning outcomes of the pencak silat T kick from pre-cycle one is about sixty-seven percent. From cycle one to cycle two amounted to twenty five percent. Meanwhile, learning outcomes for front kicks from pre-cycle to cycle 1 experienced an increase of fifty-four percent. The improvement of learning outcomes for T and forwards kicks with variations in T and forwards kick exercises has increased until it reaches the learning target, namely reaching the good and very good categories. Based on the results of the study, the conclusion is: Variations in the basic motion of the 'T' kick and forwards in learning can improve learning outcomes of the basic movement skills of pencak silat kicks in fifth grade students of SDN Piggir Papas I in the 2020/2021 school year.

The study aimed to improve cooperation and learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD N Kemiri in academic year of 2019/2020.It was classroom action research conducted in two cycles. The subjects were fifth grade students of SD N Kemiri. Data collection techniques were tests and non-tests. The data validity used technique triangulation and source triangulation. Data analysis included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions drawing. The results showed that the Scientific Reading Based Project improved cooperation and student learning outcomes. Thecooperation improved because the students were confident to deliver their opinion, the students helped their friends finding difficulty, and the students had self-control for not interrupting discussion and cooperation. The learning outcomes improved because the students mastered about heat transfer and answered the cognitive question correctly in the level of C1-C4. It concludes that the implementation of Scientific Reading Based Project model improves cooperation and learning outcomes for fifth grade students of SD N Kemiri in academic year of 2019/2020.

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of pop-up book learning media on the motivation and learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 3 KAWO in the 2020/2021 academic year. The population in this study were all students of class V at SDN 3 KAWO, while the samples were students of class VA as the experimental class and students of class VB as the control class. Data analysis begins with a normality test using the One-Sample Kolmogrov Smirnov formula with a significance level of 5% (0.05) and continues with a homogeneity test further testing the research hypothesis and further testing with a gain-score test. Then the motivational data and learning outcomes were analyzed by Independent t-test. Samples Test to determine the research hypothesis, the results of data analysis obtained a t-count value of 3,241 while the t-table at a significance level of 5% was 2,048 so that the t-count value> t-table, which means that Ha, which states there is an effect of application pop-up book learning media on science learning motivation of fifth grade students at SDN 3 KAWO in the 2020/2021 academic year, was accepted and H0 rejected. And the obtained t-count is 2.209 while the t-table at the 5% significance level is 2.048 so that the t-count value is >t-table, which means that Ha which states that there is an effect of the application of pop-up book learning media on participants' science learning outcomes fifth grade students of SDN 3 KAWO for the academic year 2020/2021, were accepted and H0 was rejected. Then a follow-up test was carried out using gain-score test, the value of learning motivation is 0.403 which is included in the medium category, while the learning outcomes of 0.576 are included in the medium category.

The research aimed to determine the differences of Science learning outcomes between students who were given Learning Cycle 5E model with the help of picture media and students who were given conventional learning in the fifth-grade students in Cluster IV District of Gianyar, Gianyar regency in the academic year 2017/2018. This research was quasi-experimental design and used post-test only control group design. The population of this research was all of the fifth-grade students in Cluster IV District of Gianyar, Gianyar regency in the academic year 2017/2018 which consisted 131 people. Sampling used simple random sampling technique by lottery. The samples of this research were 17 fifth grade students of SD (Elementary) Negeri 3 Samplangan and 17 fifth grade students of SD (Elementary) Negeri 2 Beng. The student science score as the data of this research was collected by using the objective test in the form of multiple choice. The data obtained were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics (t-test). The result of t-test analysis obtained t count 4,01 and t table = 2,037. There were significant differences of Science learning outcomes between students who were given Learning Cycle 5E model with the help of picture media and the students who were given conventional.

This study aims to implement a cooperative approach with the type of Team Games Tournament (TGT) model in SCIENCE learning in improving the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of Inpres Tidung Elementary School in Rappocini District, Makassar City. This research was carried out at SD Inpres Tidung, Rappocini Sub-District, Makassar City on September 5, 2011 until October 5, 2011. This study used a type of CAR (PTK) with the aim of knowing how to apply the Team Games Tournament (TGT) Cooperative Approach to SCIENCE learning in improving learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD Inpres Tidung, Rappocini Subdistrict, Makassar City. The research target is children in class V in the academic year 2011/2012 odd semester as many as 34 children, totaling 11 boys and girls totaling 23 people. Data collection techniques through observation, documentation, and tests are analyzed through quantitative and qualitative techniques. The results show that there is an increase in children's learning outcomes in SCIENCE learning after getting learning through the Team Games Tournament (TGT) type. Learning activities in learning have increased in terms of cohesiveness in groups, asking questions during learning, children can solve problems encountered during learning, children can answer teacher's oral questions, children submit responses when learning takes place and are shown learning outcomes with test scores child.
