<p><em>The purpose of this research was to improve the skill of reading comprehension by applied Think Pair Share (TPS) model in disruption era for fifth grade students in SDN Purwotomo No. 97 Surakarta on academic year of 2017/2018.</em><em> </em><em>The form of this research was a Classroom Action Research which conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages i.e. planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research included teacher and 23 fifth grade students in SDN Purwotomo No. 97 Surakarta. The data collected by observation, interview, test, and documentation techniques. The data validity test were using content validity, triangulation of resource, and triangulation of technique. </em><em>The result of this research shows the improvement of skill of reading comprehension values from pre-action, cycle I until cycle II</em><em>.</em></p>

<p><em>The purpose of this research was to improve the skill of writing poetry by applied DWA (Direct Writing Activity) Strategy for fifth grade students in SDN Munggung 1 Surakarta on academic year of 2018/2019.The form of this research was a Classroom Action Research which conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages i.e. planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research included teacher and 33 fifth grade students in SDN Munggung 1 Surakarta. The data collected by interview, observation, test, and documentation techniques. The data validity test were using content validity, triangulation of resource, and triangulation of technique.The result of this research shows the improvement of skill of writing poetry values from pre-action, cycle I until cycle II</em><em>.</em></p>

The purpose of this study was to investigate students’ opinions towards the reading comprehension through cooperative learning activities. The subjects were 25 students in grade 5 at Bannonnoischool, UbonRatchathani, Thailand. The studied was operated in an English course in second semester of 2014 academic year. The experiment took two days a week for five weeks. There are two instruments which were used in this study; lesson plans which were used for teaching over 10 periods, consisting of five lesson plans from New Express English Activities Book 5, and the questionnaire   for checking the students' opinions towards cooperative learning.       The research findings were as follows: The mean score of all determination is 3.82 which reflect that the subjects improved their reading skill due to the cooperative-learning activities in the class. The opinions were taken from each item indicated that the students have a positive attitude in cooperative learning in all items. Furthermore the cooperative learning activities can motivate in reading comprehension to a maximum of 4.56.  The results of the study    helped the teacher to improve teaching English by using cooperative learning strategy, promote reading comprehension, encourage and support students in reading English by using cooperative learning.

<em>The purpose of the research is improve the writing skill of poetry by applying Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model on the fifth grade of Surakarta State Primary School at 2017/2018 academic year. The type of this research is classroom action reseach (CAR), it consist of two cycles. Each cycles consist of four phases, they are planning, action, observasion, and reflection. The data collecting technique are interview, observasion, documentation, and test. The data validity technique are content validity and triangultion methods. The data analysis is interactive analysis model (Miles and Huberman). The improvment percentage of completness in pre-cycle, first cycle, and second cycle. The conclusion of the research is applying Coopertive Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model can improve the writing skill of poetry on the fifth grade of Surakarta State Primary School at 2017/2018 academic year.</em>

Background of this research is the low social learning outcomes on students fifth grade at SDN 16 Cakranegara, it is caused by learning process focus on teaccher (Teacher Centered) and they used monoton method. Teacher usually teach only usuhg speech method and they didn’t support by the appropriate facilities. The problem in this research is how the efectivness of bowl fish teachnique could improve social learning outcomes on fifth grade students at SDN 16 Cakranegara in 2016 to 2017 ? The purpose is to improve social learning outcomes on fifth grade students in 2016 to 2017 by using bowl fish technique or aquarum. This is a base calssrom research in two cydes each cycle consist of planning, implementation, action, observation,and evaluation, reflection as well. The method collecting data are observation, documentation and test. In the frist cycle the result is on average 75,375 with percentage 70,83% and the scores for activities of students are 53 categories active enough. In second cycle the students having an increase on average 82,791 categories active. The conelusion is the efectivness of bowl fish technique could improve social learing outcomes on fifth grade students at SDN 16 Cakranegara in 2016 to 2017. Key Word : The efectivness, techniques of “bowl fish technique or aquarium”, and social learing out comes.   Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V A di SDN 16 Cakranegara. Hal ini disebabkan pembelajaran masih terpusat pada guru (Teacher Centered) dan teknik serta metode yang digunakan monoton. Guru biasanya hanya mengajar dengan metode ceramah saja, dan tidak di dukung dengan sarana dan prasarana yang memadai. Masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah Efektivitas Teknik Mangkuk Ikan atau Akuarium (Fish Bowl) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V A SDN 16 Cakranegara Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017?. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V A SDN 16 Cakra Negara Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 dengan menerapkan teknik Mangkuk Ikan Atau Akuarium (Fish Bowl). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan evaluasi serta refleksi. Metode yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini adalah metode observasi, dokumentasi dan tes. Pada siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata 75,375 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 70,83% dan skor rata-rata aktivitas siswa 53 dengan kategori cukup aktif. Pada siklus II data hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa mengalami peningkatan yakni rata-rata 82,791 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 87,5% dan skor rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa 58,5 dengan kriteria aktif. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Efektivitas Teknik Mangkuk Ikan atau Akuarium (Fish Bowl) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V A SDN 16 Cakranegara Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. <div class="WordSection1"><p><em>The purpose of this research is to improve verbal communicating skill of performance result thru thematic learning in fourth grade students of SD Negeri in Sukoharjo Regency in the academic year of 2017/2018. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research  (CAR)  was  conducted  in  two  cycles.  Each cycle consist of four steps i.e. planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research data was collected by using several techniques such as observation, interview, test, and documentation. The data validity test was using triangulation technique and content validity. The model interactive of analyzing was used on data analyze technique. The assessment result showed both students’ verbal communicating skill and teacher’s performance increased continously. According to the result   of   this   research,   implemented   Gallery   Walk learning model can improve verbal communicating skilll of performance result thru thematic learning for 4th  grade students  of  SD  Negeri  in  Sukoharjo  Regency  in  the academic year of 2017/ 2018.</em></p></div>

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between reading interest and students' reading comprehension ability. Research approach using quantitative with correlational study method. The subjects of this study were students of class VA and VB at SD Negeri Karya Bhakti totaling 90 students. The sample was taken by 47 students, then this study was obtained using a five-scale questionnaire for the Reading Interest and Reading Comprehension Ability variables using tests. Therefore, from the data obtained, it was found that a moderate relationship between reading interest and reading comprehension ability was seen from the accumulated calculation results, which was 30% such as using the time to read books in the library, while 70% is influenced by other factors such as students who are motivated by the teacher to increase reading interest so that students can to read a comprehension and other factors are also influenced from outside of students, namely when doing tasks, students are guided and assisted by parents. . Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between Reading Interest and Reading Comprehension Ability in class VA and VB students of SD Negeri Karya Bhakti Odd semester of the 2019/2020 academic year.

<p>Motivation in learning is an important element in the learning activities. Motivation in learning mathematics of grade fifth student of State Primary School of Makamhaji 03 were still low. The purpose of the research is to improve motivation in learning mathematics in fifth grade students of State Primary School of Makamhaji 03 in the academic year 2017-2018. This research form is Classroom Action Research and it was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four step, there are planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The research subject is the fifth grade students of State Primary School of Makamhaji 03 in the academic year 2017/2018 consists of 20 students. Technique of the data collecting  used  interview, observation, questionnaire, and documentation. Data validity were construct validity, content  validity, and triangulation of technique. Data  analysis  were  descriptive  comparative  statistics,  critical  analysis,  and  interactive analysis. Result of this research indicate that the motivation of learning  mathematics of grade fifth student of State Primary School of Makamhaji 03 from preaction until cycle II meeting 2 has increased to 90%. The conclusion of this research indicate that through Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model can improve motivation in learning mathematics in fifth grade students of State Primary School of Makamhaji 03 in the academic year 2017/2018.</p>

<p>The purpose of the study was to improve the learning results of bump pass basic motion of mini volleyball game toward the fifth grade students of SD Djamaatul Ichwan Surakarta in the academic year of 2017/2018.<br />This research was a classroom action research (CAR). It was conducted in two cycles where each cycle consists of four stages namely as planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. There were 29 students from the fifth grade of SD Djama’atul Ichwan as the subject of the research. The sources of the research were taken from the students, the researcher, and the teacher as a collaborator. In collecting the data, the researcher conducted tests and observation. Triangulation data was used to check the validity of the test. The data analysis used in this research was descriptive qualitative technique based on the analysis of the qualitative percantage.<br />According to the pre-cycle result, it was found that only 9 students who were completed or only about 31.03% and there were 20 students who were not completed or about 68.97%. In the cycle I, it was obtained that the learning results of the students who were completed as many of 14 students (48,28%) and there were 15 students who were not completed (51,72%) where the affective average was (75,86%), the psychomotor was (31,03%), and the cognitive was (79,31%). In the cycle II, it was found that the learning results of students who were completed as many of 23 students or about 79.31% and there were 6 students who were not complete or about 20,69% where the affective average was (93.10%), the psychomotor was (72.41%) and the cognitive was (79.31%). According to the analysis of cycle I and cycle II, it showed the significant improvement and in accordance to the target achievements.<br />Based on the results, it could be concluded that: modified ball in learning process could increase the learning results of bump pass basic motion in mini volleyball game toward the fifth grade students of SD Djamaatul Ichwan Surakarta in the academic year of 2017/2018.</p>

The purpose of this study was to describe the application of cooperative learning type of student achivement division (STAD) on mathematics subject and to improve student aktivity and student learning result  in  mathematics learning on fifth grade of elementary school. This research  was classroom action reasearch conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and each meeting consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this reasearch were students at fifth grade of SD Negeri 25 Manado. There were 18 students as subjects of research.  The technique of gathering data was using test, observation and documentation.  The results showed that: (1) student activity in the first cycle 258.15 score or gain I 64,54% with the criteria was active enough and in second cycle obtained 303, 65 score or 75.91% with active criteria; (2) student learning result in the first cycle 44% and the second cycle 83%. Suggestions in this study was may the teacher have more creative by using learning media (audio or visual) to improve skill of teacher, student activity and learning result of student. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menguraikan penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif model Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) pada mata pelajaran matematika demi peningkatan aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar di kelas V SD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) terdiri dari dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan dan setiap pertemuan terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Adapun alur langkah-langkah PTK yang digunakan adalah langkah-langkah menurut Stephen Kemmis Robin Mctaggart Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 25 Manado. Adapun jumlah siswa yang ada adalah 18 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) aktivitas siswa pada siklus I memperoleh skor 258,15 atau 64,54% dengan kriteria cukup aktif dan pada siklus II memperoleh skor 303,65 atau 75,91% dengan kriteria aktif; (2) hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 44% dan siklus II sebesar 83 %. Sedangkan yang menjadi saran yang diberikan adalah: hendaknya guru lebih kreatif dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran yang ada (baik audio maupun visual dst.) demi meningkatkan keterampilan mengajar, aktivitas siswa dan  hasil belajar siswa.

<p><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p><p><em>The objectives of the study were: (1) to describe the steps in implementing Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in improving mathematics learning outcomes about distance, time, and speed, (2) to increase mathematics learning outcomes about distance, time and speed by applying Project Based Learning (PjBL), and (3) to describe the constraints and solutions in implementing Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in improving mathematics learning outcomes about distance, time, and speed. The research was collaborative classroom action research conducted in three cycles. The subjects were students and teacher of fifth grade SDN Kledungkradenan. The data were qualitative and quantitative data. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and tests. The data validity used triangulation of techniques and triangulation of sources. Quantitative and qualitative data analysis included data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that: (1) the steps in the implementation of Project Based Learning (PjBL) model were: (a) presenting problems, (b) preparing project plans, (c) preparing project activity schedules, (d) monitoring project implementation, (e) presenting project results, (f) evaluating project results; (2) the application of Project Based Learning (PjBL) model improved mathematics learning outcomes about distance, time and speed; (3) the constrains were: some students were passive in project activities and did not get enough tools needed in making projects while the solutions were: the teacher monitored the learning and discussion activities, the teacher encouraged the students to participate actively in project activities, and the teacher and the students prepared the tools and materials needed in learning</em></p>
