<p><em>This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Al-Barqy method to improve the ability to read Arabic braille on students with visual impairments in grade 2 at SDLB Putra Manunggal Gombong, Kebumen. This research is a classroom action research with 3 students of SDLB Putra Manunggal Gombong as the research subjects. This study consisted of 2 cycles that each cycle has 2 times of meetings. The utilized instruments were test sheet, interview sheet, and observation sheet. Triangulation techniques was used to validate the data. The results showed that: 1) the Al-Barqy method was effective in improving students ability to read Arabic braille letters that achieved a good category; 2) the understanding of read Arabic braille of SDLB students was increased through Al-Barqy method. They achieved an average value in the first cycle by number 70,22 with 66,67% learning completeness whereas in the second cycle was 77,56 with 100% learning completeness.</em></p>

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Drill method to improve the understanding of writing hijaiyyah letters through a reglet board on students with visual impairments in grade 2 at SDLB Putra Manunggal Gombong, Kebumen. This research is a classroom action research with 4 students of SDLB Putra Manunggal Gombong as the research subjects. This study consisted of 2 cycles that each cycle has three times of meetings. The utilized instruments were test sheet, interview sheet, and observation sheet. Triangulation techniques was used to validate the data. The results showed that: (1) the Drill method was effective in improving students ability to write hijaiyyah braille letters and that achieved a good category; (2) the understanding of writing hijaiyyah letters of SDLB students was increased through Drill method. They achieved an average value in the first cycle by number 64.66 with 50% learning completeness whereas in the second cycle was 72.34 with 75% learning completeness.Keywords: effectiveness, Drill method, writing comprehension, Reglet board

<em>This study aims to determine the effectiveness of team quiz method to improve the tajweed learning and student activity on students with visual impairments in grade 4 at SDLB Putra Manunggal Gombong, Kebumen. This research is a classroom action research with 6 students as the research subjects. This study consisted of 2 cycles that each cycle has 2 times of meetings. The utilized instruments were test sheet, interview sheet, and observation sheet. Triangulation techniques was used to validate the data. The results showed that: 1) the team quiz method was effective in improving the tajweed learning and student activity that achieved a good category; 2) the tajweed learning was increased an average value in the first cycle by number 57,5 with 58,33% learning completeness whereas in the second cycle was 75 with 91,66% learning completeness; 3) the student activity was increased with an average score in the first cycle was 27 and in the second cycle was 35. </em>

This research is motivated by the results of preliminary research on "Second Semester Student Understanding of STAI Sebelas April Sumedang Academic Year 2016/2017 Against Inheritance Science". Two conclusion indicators were obtained, 1. understanding 37 students of inheritance science reached 23.9% very little category, and 2. Related to the difficulty of learning inheritance science reached 75.6% category mostly. This study aims to find solutions to learning problems in inheritance science material that are deemed difficult. This is evident from the results of preliminary research, the results are as illustrated above. Based on this, research that is deemed appropriate to these problems uses classroom action research (PTK). This classroom action research goes through cycle 1 meeting one and meeting two, and cycle 2 meeting one and meeting two with a Three-Stage Approach pattern, namely, the first stage discussing formulas and the composition of the male and female heirs, the second stage discussing furudulmuqaddarah (section certain), and stage three discussion of the procedure for calculating the distribution of inheritance using a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects were 47 fourth semester students of STAI Sebelas April Sumedang, 2018/2019 Academic Year. This study concludes by the learning process through cycle 1 and cycle 2, the average value of 96.5% is very high.

The condition that occurs in the classroom is that students are afraid of English. Students feel that learning English is difficult to memorize. Students have learning difficulties because the teacher does not apply a suitable learning model for students. This causes students to feel bored in learning and has an impact on students' low English skills. The purpose of this study is to analyze the shadowing technique in learning English for students. This type of research is classroom action research. The research subjects were 17 students. There are four main parts of classroom action research, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The methods used to collect data are observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The technique used to analyze the data is descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The study results are the average value, from 73.2 in the first cycle to 76.0 in the second cycle. The percentage of students who passed the KKM also increased from 59% to 78%. Listening skills improve after the application of shadowing techniques. The key is that the application of shadowing techniques can improve students' listening. This research implies that teachers can apply shadowing techniques in the classroom. The application of shadowing techniques can create a fun learning atmosphere for students to improve students' listening skills.

<em>This study aims to determine the improvement of problem-solving skills and student activity in grade 3  by using the guided inquiry model. This research is a classroom action research with 22 students as the research subjects. This study consisted of 2 cycles that each cycle has 2 times of meetings. </em><em>The utilized instruments were test sheet, interview sheet, and observation sheet. The data analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative. The results of the analysis show that: 1) the guided inquiry model can improve problem solving skills and student activity that achieved a good category; 2) The average value of students' problem solving skills in the first cycle was 52,49 with completeness of 40,90% while in the second cycle of 81,81 with completeness of 93,17%; 3) The average activity score of students in the first cycle was 23,16 while in the second cycle was 33,06.</em>

The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of vocabulary learning achievement by applying the discovery approach of B2 grade students of Mutiara Insani Kindergarten, Bandar Lampung. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research subjects were students of class B2 even Semester TK Mutiara Insani Bandar Lampung, totaling 20 students. Data obtained from observer observation sheet notes on the learning process planned by the researcher, learning activity sheet, and test sheet to determine learning achievement. The data were analyzed using simple statistics, namely the percentage. The action was carried out from January to March 2019. The results of the study were 65% active cycle 1 learning activity, 75% active cycle II increased 10%, 85% active cycle III, increased 10%. While learning achievement in cycle I completed 65%, cycle II completed 75%, increased by 10%, cycle III completed 95%, increased by 20%, and records of observers who partnered with researchers showed good average criteria. The conclusion of this research is that the application of discovery learning approach can increase vocabulary learning activity and achievement in class B2 students of Mutiara Insani Kindergarten, Bandar Lampung.

Abstract:  This research is motivated by the low interest and learning outcomes of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 8 Dedai. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative with the form of classroom action research. The research subjects were students of eight class Middle School. The research instruments used were questions about tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study were obtained as follows: (1) the average value of the first cycle was 59 with classical completeness of 57% category less (2) the average value of the second cycle was 76.52 with 75% classical completeness in the very good category, (3 ) the average value of the third cycle is 89.28 with 100% classical completeness in the excellent category (4) the questionnaire results of students' interest shows the average questionnaire of the first cycle is 64.98% enough category, the second cycle has increased by 70.78% good category and in the third cycle learning interest reached 90.11%. Thus, it was concluded that the use of snowball throwing models assisted by visual media increased the interest and learning outcomes of eight class of Dedai Middle School. Keywords: Interest In Learning, Learning Outcomes, Snowball Throwing Models, Visual Media Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya minat dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Dedai”. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 8 Dedai. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah soal tes, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun hasil penelitian diperoleh sebagai berikut: (1) nilai rata-rata siklus I adalah 59 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 57% kategori kurang sekali (2) nilai rata-rata siklus II adalah 76,52 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 75% kategori amat baik, (3) nilai rata-rata siklus III adalah 89,28 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 100% kategori amat baik (4) hasil angket minat siswa menunjukan rata-rata angket siklus I adalah 64,98% kategori cukup, siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 70,78% kategori baik dan pada siklus III minat belajar mencapai 90,11%. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan penggunaan model snowball throwing berbantuan media visual meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMPN 8 Dedai.Kata Kunci : Minat Belajar, Hasil Belajar, Model Snowball Throwing, Media Visual

This research is a classroom action research that aims to increase student motivation in learning Geography through environment-based learning in class VII.D SMPN 40 Makassar. This research was conducted at SMPN 40 Makassar, where the research subjects were grade VII.D students, amounting to 35 people and the object of research was the environment around the school. This research was conducted in II (two) cycles. Data collection techniques used were the provision of tests and questionnaires at the end of each cycle and observation during the learning process. The results obtained are as follows: (1) From the results of the initial test it is categorized as moderate with an average value of 62.86; (2) The results of observation and reflection after the implementation of the first cycle shows that the category of student motivation in Geography subjects through environment-based learning has progressed from the medium category to high. In addition, the average value obtained increased from 62.86 to 67.68; (3) The results of observation and reflection after the implementation of the second cycle shows that students' motivation in Geography through environment-based learning has increased from the medium to high categories. In addition, the average value obtained increased from 67.68 to 81.07. From the results of the above analysis, the results of the action research revealed an increase in student motivation in Geography subjects through environment-based learning before implementing the action and after implementing the action.

Salah satu penyebab kesulitan siswa dalam memahami nilai materi dan nilai perbandingan ternyata adalah penerapan strategi pembelajaran yang kurang tepat. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif untuk membantu siswa mencapai pemahaman materi ajar. Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan peningkatan pemahaman konseptual tentang materi perbandingan melalui pembelajaran kooperartif tipe STAD berbasis kontekstual. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan secara kolaboratif. Penelitian Tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dengan tiga siklus  dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas VII sejumlah 29 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik yang ditandai dengan rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik di atas KKM 8,0, dan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh yaitu 83,31 dengan ketuntasan belajar 93,10%. Respons siswa terhadap pembelajaran berbasis kontekstual adalah positif artinya siswa dengan mudah memahami materi ajar.One of the reasons for the difficulty of students in understanding the value of the material and the value of comparison is the improper application of learning strategies. Therefore, an effective learning strategy is needed to help students achieve understanding of the teaching material. The purpose of this study is to describe an increase in conceptual understanding of comparative material through contextual-based STAD cooperative learning. This type of research is classroom action research conducted collaboratively. This classroom action research was conducted in three cycles with the research subjects of class VII students totaling 29 students. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes which was marked by an average student learning outcomes above the KKM 8.0, and the average value obtained was 83.31 with 93.10% learning completeness. Student responses to contextual-based learning are positive, meaning that students easily understand the teaching material.

This research is motivated by the low skill of writing essays for grade 3 students in elementary school. Based on the observation results, the low ability of students in writing poetry on Indonesian language subjects is due to the lack of effective learning created by the teacher, ineffectiveness due to the inaccurate strategies applied by the teacher in learning. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The reason for using this method is to find out how the use of picture media in improving poetry writing skills in this classroom action research was conducted on Indonesian language learning in SDN Layapan, Purwadadi District, Subang, 2017/2018 academic year in the first semester. Based on the results of the study concluded as follows: 1) Poetry writing skills using media images can be improved by means of; students observe images, explore their initial knowledge of images, write words that are appropriate to the image and develop ideas and ideas into whole poems by paying attention to the elements of poetry. The increase in poetry writing skills can be seen from the average value of students increasing from the initial conditions which only have an average value of 55 and in the first cycle of 63, cycle 2 the average value obtained by students is 72. And then in the cycle III the average value obtained by students is 86 which is included in criterion A (very good); 2) Activity of students at the time of research using picture media for third grade students of SDN Layapan, showing an increase in writing skills for students. After doing the research as a whole the average value of students increases in cycle 1 the average value of students is 67, then in the second cycle then in the second cycle the average value of students is 79, and in the third cycle that is equal to 92 who can categorized as criterion A (very good).
