The purpose of this research is to produce a futsal defense system model for 14-16 years olds and to test the effectiveness of the futsal defense model for 14-16 years olds. The method used in this research is research and development. Data collection techniques used, interviews, tests, and field observations. The results of the product effectiveness test by comparing the two groups. the treatment group using the product development, and the control group using the pretest and posttest designs. The mean score of each group based on the test is that the effectiveness of the experimental group is higher than that of the control group. The improvement of the futsal defense system for ages 14-16 years at the time of the pre-test showed t-count = 22, 219,> t-table = 1.70329, df = 27 and p-value = 0.00 <0.005. Based on the comparison of the test results. the increase in test results for the experimental group increased significantly than that of the control group. The subjects in this study were MC Utama athletes aged 14-16 years. It is hoped that this research can provide benefits for sports practitioners, especially in the sport of futsal. Nutrition is one of the main problems in the world, where the number of malnourished patients reaches less than 104 million children and one third of all causes of child mortality worldwide are still caused by malnutrition. Nutrition knowledge in school-aged children is one of the factors determining patterns food consumption and nutritional status. Nutrition education in school-aged children can improve children's nutritional knowledge and play a role in food selection and eating habits. Nutrition education should start from an early age. Nutrition and health education began to be directed at kindergarten and elementary school students, since this age group has a habit of attitude that is relatively easy to be formed. This study aims to determine the effect of nutrition education by story’s telling with pirzi doll media to increase knowledge and attitude of children about balanced nutrition. This study used quasi-experimental design with two group pre and post-test design sampling was carried out with a systematic random sampling. Sample of research were children enrolled in Kindergarten IT Rabbani and IT Menara Fitrah in Ogan Ilir District. There were 37 samples on control group dan 39 samples on experimental group. The results of statistical analysis using Mann-Whitney test. The mean score of knowledge after being given a nutritional education was 26.15 ± 3.10 in the experimental group and in the control group was 26.05± 3.16 (p-value=0.817). The mean score of attitudes after being given a nutritional education was 13.69 ± 1.97 in the experimental group and in the control group was 11.24 ± 3.67 (p-value=0.002). There was no difference in mean score of knowledge between the experimental and control groups after being given a nutritional education. There was a difference in mean values of attitudes between the experimental and control groups after being given a nutritional education.

Background: Blood pressure is influenced by psychosocial (stress), genetic, age, gender, nutritional status, and lifestyle (diet, lack of fiber consumption, smoking, lack of physical activity). 30 ml of young coconut water contains 61 mg of potassium, 5.45 mg of sodium, and 1.3 mg of sugar, affecting blood pressure changes. Coconut water contains K minerals and is useful for lowering blood pressure. Whereaswatermelon contains anti-hypertensive content, namely sodium, beta carotene, and potassium. Watermelon is rich in water, amino acids, L-arginine, which can maintain healthy blood pressure. Aim: This study aims to determine the effect of young coconut water and watermelon juice on blood pressure in the 2013 nursing students of Respati University Yogyakarta. Methods: This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group pre and post-test. The sample was taken by simple random sampling, namely the control group (18 respondents), the young coconut water group (18 respondents), and papaya juice (18 respondents). Data pre-posttest of each group was tested using Paired T-test. The comparison control-treatment group was tested using an independent-test. Results: The mean differences of systole and diastole pre-posttest blood pressure in the control group were -1.8 mmHg and -1.0 mmHg. The mean difference in systole blood pressure and the pre-posttest diastole of young coconut water groups were -3.1mmHg and -2.4 mmHg. The mean systole and diastole blood pressure in the pre-posttest watermelon juice group were -2.9 mmHg and -1.5 mmHg. The pre-posttest results of systole and diastole blood pressure analysis in the p-value control group were 0.100 and 0.450. The pre-post test results of systole and diastole blood pressure analysis of young coconut water groups gained p-value of 0.030 and 0.194. The pre-post test results of the juice watermelon group's systole and diastole blood pressure analysis gained p-value of 0.032 and 0.181. The posttest results of systole and diastole blood pressure analysis in the control group and young coconut water gained p-value of 0.014 and 0.157. The post-test results of the systole and diastole blood pressure analysis control group and juice watermelon gained p-value of 0.013 and 0.420. Conclusion: Consumption of young coconut water and watermelon juice affects systole blood pressure, but it does not affect diastole blood pressure in nursing students in 2013 in Respati University Yogyakarta. This study aimed at investigating the effect of strategies-based instruction on students’ speaking skill at Lakidende University and the students’ interest in learning English through strategies-based instruction. This research employed Quasi Experimental Method, with non-equivalent control group design. This research assigned experimental group and control group (30 students for each).Speaking test was used to see the effect of strategies-based instruction on students’ speaking skill and questionnaire was used to see students’ interest in learning English through strategies-based instruction. The data obtained through the speaking test were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Meanwhile, the data from questionnaire were analyzed in percentage and descriptive statistics. The students’ speaking skill covered three components: accuracy, fluency, and comprehensibility. The findings showed that there was an improvement on the students’ speaking ability after the treatment. There was a significant difference between the results of post-test of experimental and control group, where the mean score of post-test of experimental group was 70.37, which was higher than the mean score of post-test of control group was 59.63.The value of P-value or sig. (2-tailed) shows that P-value or sig. (2-tailed) is smaller than α (0.00 < 0.05).Furthermore, the data that were collected from questionnaire showed that the students were very high interest toward strategies-based instruction. It is showed by the mean score in scale of 89.6, which was categorized as very high interest. Keywords: effect, strategy-based instruction, speaking skill

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of midwifery update training on increasing knowledge of midwives in midwifery services. The study design was a post-test only control group design. The population consisted of an experimental group of 41 people and a control group of 41 people. The experimental group had the midwifery update training in 2019, while the control group was midwives who had never attended midwifery update training in 2019. The experimental group and the control group were selected by using cluster sampling technique after that the sample selection used simple random sampling. Data analysis was used independent samples t -test. The mean knowledge results of the midwifery update group that had never attended midwifery update training was 55.11, while the mean knowledge results of the midwifery update group knowledge was 75.19. Based on the independent t-test, it was found that the t-count results were -8,987 with a p-value of 0.000 (

Background: Knee osteoarthritis is characterised clinically by usage-related pain and/or functional limitation. OA that is associated with physical dysfunction and decline in health-related quality of life caused the main disability worldwide and is expected to increase due to aging and obesity rates and further load on the population and health system. The strengthening exercises that normally used is knee flexion and extensions, isometric quadriceps exercise, isometric hamstring exercise, and sit to stand to improve the balance. Objectives: is to find out the impact of Strengthening exercise on Balance in patients with knee Osteoarthritis Study Design: Quasi experimental study Methods: Fifty-six (n=56) of knee OA patients were involved in this study by judgemental sampling design. Researcher will first demonstrate and explain the Y-balance tools testing procedure based on Plisky and colleagues study. Participants are given to practice six trials before the formal testing, stated that SEBT have a significant learning effect and found that the reaching distances reached the longest distance after six trials and then will be constant. Results: Independent t-test shows significant difference in only anterior direction. In the experimental group the mean value is 69.83 with a SD of 11.62 while in the control group the mean value is 63.51 with a SD of 11.36; p-value of .045 and t-value of 2.056. In postero-lateral directions result shows there is no significant difference, experimental group the mean value is 91.10 with a SD of 9.74 while in control group mean value is 90.88 with SD value of 12.68; p-value of .947 and t-value of .067. Result of postero-medial shows no significant difference too, in experimental group the mean value of 95.16 with SD of 10.92 while in control group the mean value is 93.40 with SD of 8.20; p=value of .501 and t-value of .678. Conclusion: This study has proven strengthening exercise using YBT improved only anterior direction of YBT but no significant difference in postero-lateral and postero-medial direction. Neck contouring is one of the most frequent reasons patients seek cervicofacial rhytidectomy. But what makes for aesthetically pleasing youthful neck? Ellenbogen and Karlin described 5 criteria in their 1980 landmark publication, including having a cervicomental angle between 105° and 120° and a visible subhyoid depression. Recent advances in neck anatomy have revealed the existence of ligamentous like structures attaching the skin and platysma to the hyoid. These have been termed the hyoplatysmal ligament (HPL) and cervicomental suspensory angle ligament by different authors. This study was undertaken to determine whether surgically reestablishing the above structures utilizing a hyoid suspension technique resulted in statistically significant changes in cervicomental contour. A retrospective chart review was performed from January 2014 to present. After December 2016, the second author began utilizing a hyoid suspension technique where the inter- and subplatysmal fat was resected and the HPL was reestablished surgically (hyoid suspension). Cases before this date served as controls if a similar neck manipulation was performed without reestablishing the HPL. In total, 104 charts were queried, of which, 21 charts fit inclusion criteria to serve as controls and 20 as the experimental group. Before and after profile pictures were then compared for differences in cervicomental angle utilizing commercially available imaging software (Canfield Mirror, Parsippany, New Jersey). An unpaired Student t test was then performed to determine whether this 2 groups differed significantly utilizing a P value of .05 to denote statistical significance. The mean difference between pre- and postoperative cervicomental angle for the control group was 17.38° with a standard deviation of 8.05°. The mean difference between pre and postoperative cervicomental angle for the experimental group was 28.75° with a standard deviation of 15.52°. The resulting 11.37° difference in cervicomental angle between the 2 groups was found to be statistically significant with a P value of .0051. Our cosmetic surgical and anatomical knowledge continues to progress. Brant first described a ligamentous structure that attaches the platysma to the hyoid. Through biomechanical testing, he noted this ligament to be one of the weakest in the face and neck. Thereafter, in 2016 Yousif et al and Le Lourn separately described similar procedures to attach the platysma to the hyoid, in effect reestablishing this ligament. Utilizing one simple surgical maneuver, the hyoid suspension reestablishes the HPL. This surgically creates an acute cervicomental angle, resulting in less platysmal displacement postoperatively, with virtually no addition to surgical time or morbidity.

Psychoeducation aims to increase knowledge about schizophrenia patients and families and to improve treatment compliance</em><em>. </em><em>This study aims to determine the effectiveness of psychoeducation intervention </em><em>for </em><em>treatment compliance</em><em> of </em><em>schizophrenia patient. </em><em>The kind of this research is q</em><em>uasiexperimen</em><em>tal</em><em>with control group design with </em><em>16 samples that was</em><em> selected by pusposive sampling</em><em>,</em><em> consist of </em><em>8</em><em> people</em><em> was the </em><em>experimental group </em><em>that was given </em><em>psychoeducation intervention and </em><em>8 people was the </em><em>control group </em><em>that was </em><em>given health education. </em><em>The d</em><em>ata</em><em>was </em><em>collected by </em><em>filled the </em><em>observation sheet as much as 12 statement</em><em>s</em><em>. </em><em> The </em><em>Test </em><em>that </em><em>used was T-Test Independent with p </em><em>value </em><em><span style="text-decoration: underline;">&lt;</span></em><em>0.05. </em><em>The result of this research is the mean of treatment compliance on experimental group is 11,00 and control group 6,88. In statistic test showed that there is the significant difference between treatment compliance of schizopheria patient on experimental group and control group with p value 0,0005 (p &lt; 0,05).Based of the result above can be concluded than psychoeducation intervention more effective to increase the treatment compliance of schizophrenia patients than health education. The purpose of this research is to know the effects of Reciprocal Teaching toward students’s reading ability of recount text in the eighth grade of SMPN 1 Sine in the Schooling year of 2016/2017. Reciprocal Teaching has four strategies, such as; Predicting, Questioning, Clarifying and Summarizing. The method that is used by the researcher is Experimental Design. The researcher used two classes, the first class as control class and the other one is expeimental class. Each class consists of 20 students. They had different treatment. The control class is not treat by the Reciprocal Teaching but the experiment class treated Reciprocal Teaching. The researcher got the data by using pretest and postest for each class. The test is 50 items of multiple choices. The researcher used SPSS v23 to count the result of the data. The data analysis showed the significancy of the data. The mean score for experimental group has 49, 20. Then, the mean score for control group has 43, 25. Based on the two means, it can be considered that both of the groups are significantly different. The results of the sig. of the Lavene’s test for equality of variances show that it exceeds the level of tolerance p. value .05. The result of sig. is .095. It means that there is no significant different from the two groups and Ho can be rejected. The mean score for group which is treated by using Reciprocal Teaching has 79, 55. Then, the mean score for the group which is not treated by using Reciprocal Teaching has 73, 55. The results of post-test both of the groups show significantly different. The result of independent sample t-test shows the significantly different can be seen from the sig. 004 in t-test for equality of means. This result is lower than the p value .05 of significance tolerance. It can be concluded that Reciprocal Teaching Technique is effective toward students’ reading ability of recount text in the eighthgrade of SMPN 1 Sine.


The degenerative disease into a leading cause of death globally. Hypertension is one of the degenerative diseases that become important health problems worldwide because of its high prevalence and continued to rise and its relation to cardiovascular disease, stroke and kidney disease. Hypertension risk factors also became the third-largest cause of premature death and obesity is a risk factor hypertension that can be modified. The purpose of this study is to know the effect of nutrition education by Cakram media to increase knowledge and attitude of about hypertension dan obesity.This study used quasi-experimental design with two group pre and post-test design, The population of this study were all employees of Sriwijaya University in Indralaya with consist of 110 employees from five faculty. Sampling was carried out with a Cluster Random Sampling. There were 57 sample on experimental group and 53 sample on control group. Results of statistical analysis using Mean Whitney. The mean score of knowledge after being given a nutritional education was 29,00 in the experimental group and in the control group was 26,00 (p-value=0.031). The mean score of attitudes after being given a nutritional education was 28,88 in the experimental group and in the control group was 27,00 (p-value=0.942). There was no difference in mean score of attitudes between the experimental and control groups after being given a nutritional education. There was a difference in mean values of knowledge between the experimental and control groups after being given a nutritional education.

<p><em>Dengue vector control has been done in various ways, however, has not been able to obtain optimal </em><em>results. Ovirap use to determine the presence of Aedes sp in a region is often done, but the application </em><em>of lethal ovitrap for population control Aedes sp still rarely done. This study was aimed to assess the </em><em>effect of LO applications on populations of Aedes sp. </em></p><p><em></em><em>This research includes quasi experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group without </em><em>randomization. Research sites in dengue in endemic areas in Banyumas district, with a total sample of </em><em>100 homes in each treatment and control areas. Insecticides used on ovistrip is cypermethrin at a dose </em><em>of 12.5 mg ai/strip. Populations of Aedes sp measured each week for three weeks prior to the </em><em>intervention and twelve weeks during the intervention. The mean density of Aedes sp compared before </em><em>and after intervention and between treatment and control areas.</em><br /><em>The study showed the difference of mosquito densities before and after the intervention in the </em><em>experimental group was 0,07 ( p-value 0.044), whereas the control group was 0.037 (p-value 0.341). </em><em>LO use with the addition of insecticide active ingredient cypermetrin on ovistrip impact on the decline </em><em>density of Aedes sp.</em></p>
