The objective of this research is to get a deep understanding about religious values in the theme structure of traditional Seloko of Jambi Malay. This research used content analysis method to analyze the extrinsic elements of seloko containing religious values. This method was combined with hermeneutic study technique to reveal the structure and implicit meanings of the texts in Jambi Malay seloko. Data in this research are traditionalseloko containing religious values. Primary data were obtained from a collection of traditional seloko of Jambi Malay recorded by Lembaga Adat of Jambi Province. The results of this research show that the themes of traditional seloko of Jambi Malay are related to the religious values of man’s relationship with God, man with nature, man with society, and man with himself.

<p><em>The rise of evil that existed in this period began from free association, abuse of drugs, theft and others. The moral deterioration is very much happening and the way to cope with it is by deepening the science of religion, which is with a lot of scientific knowledge of Tauhid. The science of Tauhid is a science that discusses the attributes of Allah SWT and his Messenger or called Aqaid Al-Khamsina. By studying the science of Tauhid can certainly reduce the number of criminality because by learning the science of Tauhid means a person's behavior will be much better. This research aims to determine the meaning of Aqaid Al-Khamsina and the explanation of each of these qualities. This research is included in Library research.  Primary data sources include the book by Imam Muhammad bin as-Sanusi named Umm al-Barahin, the publisher city of Kediri, the publisher name Santri Salaf Press, in the year 2015 and the book of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Fudholi named Kifayatul Awam, the publisher of Surabaya, the name of publisher Mutiara Ilmu, in the year 2018.  The secondary sources are books related to Aqaid Al-Khamsina, which is a book by Siradjuddin Abbas named I'itiqad Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah, a book by Abu Fikri Ihsani called Encyclopedia of Allah, a book by Imam Abil Izz Al-Hanafi named Tahdzib Syarah Aqidah Thahawiyah. In analyzing this research researchers use the Content analysis method (content analysis) is by means of drawing conclusions from several references that have been chosen, compared and combined.  The results of the research obtained is that Aqaid Al-Khamsina is a nature of Allah SWT and its Apostles that if in total there is 50 consisting of 20 mandatory nature of God, 20 impossibly god nature, 1 Jaiz nature, 4 mandatory nature of the Apostle, 4 the odds of the Apostle and 1 character Jaiz apostle. The objective of this research is to acquire deep understanding about social values in the novels Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens. The type of research was qualitative by using content analysis method. The data collected through document study and data observation about social values in the novel. The result of this research revealed that social values found and described in the novel Oliver Twist were love values consist of love and affection, dedication, mutual help, kinship, concern, and loyalty. Responsible values consist of sense of acceptance and belonging, obligations and discipline. Harmony of life values consist of justice, tolerance, cooperation, and democracy. The values were found and described through generic structure of the novel by the text quotations. Those results led to implication that Indonesian literature educators can apply Charles Dickens novel Oliver Twist directly in the teaching process and motivate the students to analyze the novels.

This study aims to explore the value of character and philosophy of life of the founder of Muhammadiyah (KH. Ahmad Dahlan). The research method used is library research. The primary data source is the philosophy of the teachings of KH. Ahmad Dahlan, and the secondary sources are other books that are relevant and relevant to the research. Analysis of the data used in this study is the Content analysis method. The author's findings relate to the question that KH. Ahmad Dahlan bequeathed seven philosophies and his messages, in which teaches to be a visionary human being able to think ahead that is to be happy in the world and the hereafter. Character Value is exemplified by him, namely the value of religious character, honesty, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, national spirit, love of the motherland, valuing achievement, friendly or communicative, peace-loving, fond of reading social care and responsibility. The character education of KH. Ahmad Dahlan can support government character education so that it becomes an active character education.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali nilai karakter dan falsafah hidup pendiri Muhammadiyah (KH. Ahmad Dahlan). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research). Sumber data primer adalah falsafah ajaran KH. Ahmad Dahlan, sumber sekundernya adalah buku-buku lain yang bersangkutan dan relevan dengan penelitian. Analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode content analysis. Temuan penulis berkaitan dengan pertanyaan yang ada bahwa KH. Ahmad Dahlan mewariskan tujuh falsafah dan pesan-pesan beliau, yang di dalamnya mengajarkan supaya menjadi manusia yang visioner mampu untuk berfikir kedepan yaitu supaya dapat bahagia dunia dan akherat. Nilai Karakter yang dicontohkan oleh beliau yakni nilai karakter religius, jujur, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, semangat kebangsaan, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat atau komunikatif, cinta damai, gemar membaca, peduli sosial, dan tanggungjawab. Adapun pendidikan karakter KH. Ahmad Dahlan dapat mendukung pendidikan karakter pemerintah sehingga menjadi pendidikan karakter yang efektif.

This study aims to analyze the benefits of empowering women program through Islamic microfinance program by focusing on the case of Baitulmal wat Tamwil (BMT) in Beringharjo, Indonesia. It is expected to fill the gap in the literature since most of the current studies have been focusing on conventional microfinance rather than Islamic microfinance. This study used primary data collected by interviewing participants of the Islamic microfinance program offered by the BMT. The Qualitative Content Analysis method has been used to extend the conceptual theoretical framework and give wider results description that could not be captured by the quantitative approach. The result shows that there were improvements in various socio-economic aspects of the participants such as higher income and expenditure, and more involvements in community activities, decision making and children’s education. While the focus of this study is only limited to the case of BMT Beringharjo in Jogjakarta, Indonesia, the findings from this study can be generalized and would contribute towards further improvements of future women empowerment programs throughout the globe.

This study aims to reveal and describe the ascetic morality of Sheikh Siti Jenar in the heptalogy novels of Shekh Siti Jenar by Agus Sunyoto using the content analysis method. The problem discussed in this research is the ascetic morality of Sheikh Siti Jenar. The data source is the heptalogy novels of Shekh Siti Jenar which is divided into seven volumes, which was the result of a philology research with primary data of approximately 300 manuscripts. The research result was published by LKiS Yogyakarta in the form of stories. The results of this study indicate that the ascetic morality used in the novels is in the form of morality conditioned by humanism and bound by asceticism because it reveals the real issues of human life inreligious issues and how they are socially constructed. The ascetic morality expressed through its main character, Sheikh Siti Jenar, has its own energy to convey the side of human life that is lived like other people live it.

This study aims to describe religious values in the novel Nafsul Muthmainnah by Anfika Noer. The religious values analyzed include regulatory aspects (sharia), beliefs (creeds), and actions (morals). The approach used, namely the qualitative approach and the method used in this study is a descriptive analysis method. The use of this method is adjusted to the main purpose of the research, which is to describe and analyze religious values in a novel entitled Nafsul Muthmainnah by Anfika Noer. Descriptive method is a method used to describe or analyze a research result but not used to make broader conclusions. The purpose of this descriptive study is to make a description, description, or painting systematically, factually and accurately about the facts, traits, and relationships between phenomena investigated. The content analysis method is able to uncover the tendency of message content based on the context of the content of a text. The depth of content analysis will be more complete and detailed in understanding the contents of the text and able to associate with the context of reality that occurs. In this study, data information analysis was carried out through the stages of identifying all data, describing data, analyzing data, then interpreting existing data based on religious values in the novel. Conclusions from this study, namely that there are many religious values related to regulations (shari'a), beliefs (creeds), and actions (morals) in the Nafsul Muthmainnah novel by Anfika Noer's work. The religious values contained in this novel, namely aspects of sharia as many as 13 data findings, aspects of faith as many as 21 data findings, and moral aspects as many as 42 data findings. The most finding data is the moral aspect as many as 42 data findings and the least is the sharia aspect of 13 data findings.

The objective of this research is to acquire deep understanding about Indigo through novel, Gerbang Dialog Danur’s novel by Risa Saraswati. Danur means of water that comes out from the rotten corpse. This qualitative research was conducted using content analysis method. This research was analyzed through structural literary approach and psychology literary approach. The data were collected through documents, and data observations about Indigo in Gerbang Dialog Danur’s novel by Risa Saraswati. The result of this research revealed that abundance of Indigo and lack of Indigo were founded and described in Gerbang Dialog Danur’s novel by Risa Saraswati. Those results lead to implication that Indonesian literature educator can use Gerbang Dialog Danur’s novel by Risa Saraswati directly in the teaching of literature studies, especially for psychology literary. Danur berarti air yang keluar dari mayat yang busuk. Penelitian kualitatif ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode analisis isi. Analisis penelitian dilakukan pendekatan psikologi sastra. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi pustaka, dan observasi data tentang Indigo dalam novel Gerbang Dialog Danur karya Risa Saraswati. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelebihan Indigo dan kekurangan Indigo ditemukan serta digambarkan dalam novel Gerbang Dialog Danur karya Risa Saraswati. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diimplikasikan oleh pengajar sastra Indonesia, yakni dengan menggunakan novel Gerbang Dialog Danur karya Risa Saraswati secara langsung pada proses pengajaran. Hasil penelitian ini direkomendasikan untuk para pengajar sastra Indonesia, pembaca novel, peneliti sastra, para orang tua, dan setiap orang pada umumnya.Kata kunci: anak Indigo, novel, sastra, psikologi, pengajaran sastra

<em>The purpose of this research is to show the ecranization and religious values used in Mia Chuz's <strong>Wedding Agreement</strong> novel.. This research is in the form of a qualitative descriptive with a content analysis method based on the objects obtained from the ecranization and religious values contained in the <strong>Wedding Agreement</strong> novel by Mia Chuz.</em> <em>The results of this study indicate that there are 118 ekranization processes that occur in the elements of the plot, character, and setting, namely the existence of shrinkage, addition, and variation change. The shrinking of the plot, characters, and settings occurs because the media used in making novels and films are different. The addition of the plot, characters, and settings in the film as a whole is still relevant to the story in the novel, it's just that the visualization in the film is made more interesting, while for the varied changes in plot, character, and setting made in the visualization to the form of the film as a whole it is not far from being depicted in the</em>

The aim of this research is to obtain a deep understanding of character education in And The Mountains Echoed Novel written by Khalid Hosseini. This research used qualitative approach, content analysis method, through structuralism and  semiotics study. Structurally, character education in this novel found in the theme, the plot, the characters and characterization, and the setting. Semiotically, the researcher found semiotics signs in And The Mountains Echoed novel relating to the character education, namely, index, symbol, and icon. The data were collected through a carefull reading of the novel, identification, and classification. The values taken are the combination between character education value from Pusat Kurikulum Balitbang Diknas and Lickona’s. However not all values are captured, among the 28 values, only thirteen caught from the novel. The values are hard working, religious, responsible, love, integrity, social care, never give up, thanks be to Allah, appreciating achievement, wisdom, creative, curiousity, and friendly/communicative. From the structure of the novel, the character education implemented explicitly and implicitly in the theme, the character and characterization, the setting, and the plot. While from the semiotics, the character education mostly found  in the form of index, followed by symbol,and then icon.
