The main purposes of this research is to identify and acquire the necessary information regarding the work effort in improving employee’s job performance. The research was conducted at Secretariat of Education and Training Agency on Ministry of Transportation in Jakarta, during October 2008 to January 2009. The method is survey with questionnaire as tool for data collecting. This research included 40 employees as unit analysis. Data is analyzed using descriptive approach. The results indicate the employees of Secretariat of Education and Training Agency on Ministry of Transportation  in Jakarta have both high work effort  and job performance. Based on those findings it could be concluded that high work effort has  effected employees’ job performance at Secretariat of Education and Training Agency on Ministry of Transportation in Jakarta. Therefore, the employees job performance should be kept by giving the rewards. It should be  put into account in maintaining employees at Secretariat of Education and Training Agency on Ministry of Transportation  in Jakarta.

Implementation of services, especially in education and training services has not run optimally. Especially if the training is held in two different locations, Bandung and Cisolok. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of education and training services in Diklat Teknis Pelaksana I (TP I) in 2018 held in Bandung and Cisolok, Sukabumi. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach based on the author's observations as one of the instructors in the training and analysis of the results of the evaluation of the training implementation and an interview. The informant is the one of the training officer that involved at Diklat TP I. The expected results of the study are recommendations for better implementation of Diklat TP I in the future and the implementation of education and training in the PPSDMA in general. The other expected results of this study is to be a reference for the implementation of training that is more optimal in accordance with the services applicable in PPSDMA. ABSTRAKImplementasi pelayanan, khususnya pada pelayanan diklat belum berjalan secara optimal. Terlebih jika penyelenggaraan diklat dilaksanakan didua lokasi yang berbeda Bandung dan Cisolok. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisa implementasi pelayanan diklat pada Diklat Teknis Pelaksana I (TP I) pada 2018 di Bandung dan Cisolok, Sukabumi. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif berdasarkan pengamatan penulis sebagai salah satu pengajar pada diklat tersebut dan analisis data hasil evaluasi penyelenggaraan diklat serta wawancara. Informan penelitian adalah salah satu petugas di bidang penyelenggaraan diklat yang terlibat pada Diklat TP I. Hasil yang diharapkan dari penelitian ini adalah rekomendasi untuk pelaksanaan Diklat TP I yang lebih baik di masa depan dan penyelenggaraan diklat di PPSDMA secara umum. Hasil lain yang diharapkan adalah penelitian ini bisa menjadi referensi untuk pelaksanaan pelatihan yang lebih optimal sesuai dengan pelayanan yang berlaku di PPSDMA.

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the resource pengembangkan apparatus in improving job performance in Financial Management Board and the Regional Asset (BPKAD) and explain the factors supporting and inhibiting. This study focused on BPKD efforts in developing the ability of its employees. This study is qualitative descriptive. Data was obtained through interviews, observation and document, and then analyzed using an interactive model. The results of the study explained that the development of human resources in BPKAD been done through delivery of education and training of employees, increase employee competence, work and award mutation or motivation. The results of these efforts is quite good, but not optimal in improving employee job performance BPKAD Kutai Barat.Keyword: development, human resources, job performance

This research was motivated by the low motivation of the participants in participating in the 3 in 1 embroidery pin training at the Padang Industrial Education and Training Center. The goal is to see a picture of the motivation of the participants in following the pinhead embroidery training. This type of research is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The number of respondents in this study was 40 people consisting of training participants for pinhead embroidery training generation II and XIII. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses the percentage formula. The results of this study indicate that the motivation to follow the training participants of the 3 in 1 head embroidery training is still low, namely 71% for 40 respondents.

Job performance is a matter that must be considered in carrying out the task in order to achieve company goals. This study aims to determine the significance of the influence of achievement motivation as well as education and training on work performance in PDAM Tirta Mangutama. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires using a 5-point Likert scale. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis show that achievement motivation has a positive and significant effect on work performance, and education and training have a positive and significant effect on work performance. Companies must pay attention to aspects of employee performance, especially seen from the professional attitude at work and the suitability of work results with the targets set. So that what is the goal, vision and mission of the company can be achieved well. Employees are expected to be able to increase achievement motivation by creating good working relationships and enhancing capabilities through education and training so that employees are able to solve problems in work properly so as to produce work performance. Some argue that training and/or coursework in domestic violence (DV) could impact the beliefs criminal justice (CJ) majors have about DV and, in turn, affect their future job performance in cases involving victims of DV. This study examined the association of previous education and training in DV on the beliefs college students hold about what behaviors qualify as DV. Further, it examined the association between CJ versus non-CJ majors on beliefs about DV behaviors. Results indicated prior education on DV, but not training outside of coursework, was associated with differences in students' beliefs about acts of sexual aggression qualifying as DV. Education and training on DV were not significantly related to differences in beliefs about acts of physical or verbal/emotional aggression being DV. Moreover, CJ majors are less likely to believe that verbal/emotional aggression was an act of DV, compared to non-CJ majors. Implications of these findings for policy and educational efforts impacting CJ majors are discussed.

This research aims to know the effect of formal education and training toward the performance ofAmil Zakat in Kendari. The data collecting method used questionnare. The Sample consisted of 44 respondents.Based on the result of statistic analyst test found that there were an effect of the formal education and trainingtoward the performance of Amil Zakat in Kendari while the simultaneous test result used Ftest 92,892 and Fsig0,000  = 0,05. In other words, Formal Education (X1) which are religion education and general education,and Training (X2) which the material are execution time, and tutor, simultaneously have significant effecttoward the performance of Amil Zakat (Y) on trusty level 95%.
