During the past few years, stock market and mutual funds is the most attracted option to make investment. In today’s complex financial scenario, mutual funds are an ideal investment vehicle for women investors’ to diversify their portfolio of investment. A Mutual fund is an investment fund that pools money from many investors to purchase equities, bonds and other securities. It provides benefits to the investors of good return, less risk, liquidity, tax benefits, etc. The primary data has been collected using structured questionnaire and Secondary data has been collected from journals, books, reports, magazines and other published data’s. The main purpose of doing this research is to know about the Preference of urban working women towards various mutual fund schemes of Jaipur district, Rajasthan (India).Using Random sampling technique, sample size of 100 working women is taken having different demographic profiles. This study analyzes the impact of demographic factors on the women’s attitude towards investment in mutual funds.

This research was conducted based on the condition of the development of tourism on the island of Nusa Lembongan, aiming to find out the impact brought about by socio-economic conditions against the tourism society.This study uses qualitative and quantitative approach with mix method, the primary data source that are obtained by observations and direct interviews and secondary data. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling techniques and data analysis using the method of case study. This study shows tourism provides impact on society and the government on the island of Nusa Lembongan are seen from eight aspect among others : impact increasing of foreign exchange, impact toward local community income that increasing before tourism exist, impact toward higher prices than the real prices, impact toward employment for opportunity to local community, ownership and control of tourism accommodation, the distribution of benefits and advantage against indigenous village, development in general are seen from 4A tourism and government income of tax viewed from PHR. Advice can be given to government and businessman and tourism service on the island of Nusa Lembongan in the order of future improve the facilities, infrastructure supporting tourism, reinforce the rules on the division of the proceeds against the indigenous villages, improving access and employment for local community on the island of Nusa Lembongan.   Key Words              : Tourism, Nusa Lembongan Island, Impact

This study aims to determine the impact of the existence of palm oil plantations on the socio-economic conditions of the people in Kamipang District, Katingan District. The type of data used in this study is secondary data obtained from BPS, Sub-District Offices, village/district, and the private sector and primary data obtained directly from different respondents in Kamipang Subdistrict to determine the number of samples used by purposive sampling technique or sampling. intentionally that is equal to 20% of the total population or as many as 30 respondents. The results of the study show that the management of oil palm plantations has an impact on social conditions that are very influential, namely after the existence of the oil palm plantation company PT Arjuna Utama Sawit. The impact is such as access to education in Kamipang Subdistrict, new economic activities such as lodging, restaurants, crossing services, and salons. After the existence of a coconut plantation company, PT. Arjuna Utama Sawit, those who were previously less prosperous are now more prosperous. They arrived at zero economic conditions, the impact of the existence of a sick coconut plantation company, PT. Arjuna Utama Sawit for economic conditions greatly affects that is after the existence of oil palm plantation companies PT. Arjuna Utama Sawit compared to the existence of a plantation company PT. Arjuna Utama Sawit.


The purpose of this paper is to assess the attitude of bank employees in Tripura towards investment in the mutual fund and investigate the impact of attitude on volume of investment. The study methodology is based on the responses of a questionnaire received from 262 employees of banks in Tripura. On the basis of primary data, the attitude of the employees has been assessed and ordinal logistic regression is used to find out the impact of attitude on their volume of investment in mutual fund. It is found that overall attitude of bank employees in Tripura towards investment in mutual fund is favorable. It can also be concluded that attitude and volume of investment in mutual fund is positively related. The study is useful for the fund managers of mutual funds. Once the attitude to employees towards investment in mutual fund is ascertained, then suitable strategy regarding imparting training can be designed to improve attitude towards investment in mutual fund. The study is original in nature.

This study aims to look at the impact of Bukit Kasih tourism objects on the income of the people of Kanonang Dua Village who did business on the tourist attraction area. This research was carried out for 3 months from namely May to July 2018. The data used was primary data, through direct interviews with 30 respondents, namely those who run businesses in the Bukit Kasih Tourism Area. Secondary data obtained through the internet by using google searching to access scientific journal articles and thesis from other universities that relevant with the research. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. This study used an analysis of the average difference through the t-test, the impact was measured by comparing income before and after doing business in the tourism area. The results showed that there was a significant increase in income for the people who doing business at the Bukit Kasih Tourism Area. The average income of the community before doing business in the tourist area was Rp. 883,333 per month and increased to Rp. 2,390,000 per month after doing business in the Bukit Kasih Tourism Area. This means that the average income increases by 1.506.667,00,- *ghmk+eprm*

Currently, 85 per cent of the world’s human  population lives in the drier half of the Earth, which exacerbates the water risks including lack of access to safe water, poor basic sanitation and water-related disasters and diseases. Vihiga County is located in the western region of Kenya (former western province). The county covers a total area of 531.0 Km2. This paper examines the impact of water related risks on the livelihood of residents in Vihiga County. The study used evaluation research design. A sample size of 384 households was used to obtain data from the households. Sampling technique comprised of multistage sampling for the households, Quota sampling for the Focus Group Discussions and purposive sampling for the Key Informants. Primary data was gathered by use of questionnaires, Key Informant Interview guides, observation checklists and Focus Group Discussions. Secondary data was collected by use of publications, journals, and internet access. Quantitative data was analysed using Microsoft excel, and Statistical Package for Social Scientists (SPSS) version 20.0. Results reveal that majority of the household respondents had experienced different forms of water related risks including, water pollution at 42%, inadequate water infrastructure 32%, poor water governance 10%, water scarcity 7% and environmental flows at 4% respectively. The study established that the existing Water Funded Projects (WFPs) initiatives include protected water springs at 31%, water kiosks 21%, boreholes at 18%, open wells 14 %, rain water harvesting at 12% while 4% of household respondents had piped water. The results (X25, 0.05=69.76; p-value=0.000) indicating that Water Funded Projects (WFPs) initiatives have positively influenced reduction in water related risks.

Objective: The Fundamental objective this paper to explore the impacts of warning label on the smokers. Whether smokers are discouraging from this warning label or not? This research was started in September 2016 and done in January 2017. (Five months). Methodology: Both primary & secondary data was used for data collection. Secondary data was taken from the research articles, periodicals, hospital’s annual reports and health magazines. For primary data collection, a testified five point Likert scale questionnaire was used. We’ve distributed 1800 questionnaires in nine (9) cities, 200 in each city. By using stratified random sampling technique. Finally received (n=1726) that were properly filled by all aspects. Our population was Punjab province and sample was nine cities including Federal Capital of Islamic Republic of Pakistan: Islamabad, Lahore, Okara, Sahiwal, Faisalabad, Jhang, Layyah, Bahawalpur & Multan. After that data was analyzed on Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS 21.0). Cronbach’s alpha (ἀ) of our research study was 0.862. It shows the well-organized reliability of our data. Results: Correlation ‘flank-by’ D.V (Intention to quit), IV (warning label) and M.V (demographic factors) shows that, “yes there is an association among them”. Regression Analysis retrospect that they have a week but positive relationship. Durbin Watson’s explorations were also showing same frequencies. Findings: We’ve found that well educated & privileged respondents have less smoking habit than un-educated & underprivileged persons. Male & female students are also indulged in the curse of smoking, without caring of their pocket money. Teen aged & educated smokers, notices the warning label intensely as compared to others, but ignored. So Govt. & health agencies should acquaint the novel way that discourage the smokers in real sense.

The increasing number of Divorce each year In Hulu Sungai Utara Regency, this data is obtained based on surveys or direct observations in the Amuntai Religious Court. The number of divorce cases from 2014 was 651 cases, in 2015 it increased to 654 cases, although in 2016 and 2017 it decreased by around 601 and 622 but in 2018 this was only in September as many as 662 cases of this number, so there was an increase in divorce rates. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the implementation of Regional Regulations and analyze the obstacles in implementing Regional Regulation No. 3 of 2016 concerning the Protection of Women and Children in the North Hulu Sungai Regency. The research method is qualitative descriptive, type and source of data, namely primary data through observation, interviews while secondary data through data available at the Office of Protection and Empowerment of Women and Children in Hulu Sungai Utara Regency, the technique used in sampling is purposive sampling technique is withdrawal of samples in purpose or can be determined in accordance with the requirements (characteristics, characteristics, characteristics, criteria). The results of the study show that in the implementation of Regional Regulation No. 3 of 2016 concerning the Implementation of Protection of Women and Children in Hulu Sungai Utara Regency, it is still not fully implemented. This can be seen where the handling of these cases has not been fully implemented, then people who are victims of domestic violence or the impact of their divorce is not all that they know about the local regulations, so they have not run properly, efficiently and effectively. So that the firmness in handling the case also cannot be implemented because the sanctions are not mentioned and the contents of the policy need to be renewed. The suggestions given for input include, among other things, providing a place for counseling and complaints about domestic violence issues, especially for the protection of women and children, there must be attention and support from the Hulu Sungai Utara District Head regarding the issue of funding in terms of supporting treatment women's protection case. 2020 was the year of the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus, which made things worse. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic was also felt by employees of PT Telkom Akses North Jakarta which caused work stress which resulted in lowering the level of employee work productivity. This study aims to determine how much influence work stress has on employee work productivity. This research uses quantitative methods with the analysis technique used is simple linear regression. The population used is all employees of PT Telkom Akses and the sampling method is the probability sampling technique with the number of respondents is 68 respondents. Data collection techniques in this study are primary data using questionnaires and secondary data using literature study. The results of research conducted by researchers indicate that Work stress is in the good category, the Work Productivity variable is in the quite good category. From this research, it shows that there is a significant effect of Work stress on Work Productivity during the pandemic period at PT Telkom Akses. This shows that the higher the level of work stress, the lower the level of work productivity of PT Telkom Akses employees during the pandemic period.

<p class="western" align="justify"><em><span lang="EN-US">This study aims to test the difference between the conventional mutual fund and the sharia mutual fund on performances and risk. The development of mutual fund products is based on 2 (two) categories, conventional mutual funds, and sharia mutual funds (www.ojk.go.id). Based on data from the Data Center and Statistics of Islamic Mutual Funds, the performance of Islamic mutual funds is still underperformed compared to conventional mutual funds. Therefore, testing the performance of Islamic mutual funds by testing the performance of conventional mutual funds has not been widely tested. Secondary data was used in this study with all 1425 mutual funds from 2012-2017 on the Indonesia Stock Exchange was used as the population in this study is. The purposive sampling technique determines the sample in this study. The sample used in this study was Conventional and Shariah mutual fund in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) with six products each. This hypothesis test used Differential Test tools with data analysis techniques using Paired sample t-test analysis using SPSS 25. In this study, we found that there was a significant difference between the return on conventional mutual funds and Syariah mutual funds. While the risk, Sharpe method, Treynor method, and Jensen method have not significant difference between conventional mutual funds and Syariah mutual funds.</span></em></p>

The study has made an attempt on resource use and economic efficiency of cucumber production under poly-house farming and open field farming. Primary data collected by using purposive sampling technique from selected districts. Sample of 50 farmers (25 Poly-house farmers and 25 Open field farmers) was taken from each district on the basis of availability. Secondary data was collected from Horticulture Department. For data analysis statistical tools average, percentage and Linear Cobb-Douglas Production Function was used. The study found that the yield of cucumber was more under poly-house farming as compare to open field farming system. The reason behind this was long harvesting period and more number of fruits per plant under poly-house farming conditions. The data specifies higher net returns per acre of cucumber under poly-house farming over open field farming, which implicit poly-house farming not only highly profitable but also economically viable as compared to open field farming in study area.
