Before starting the composting is to separate fish waste from other wastes to facilitate the composting process. During composting the temperature conditions are maintained by reversing compost and color and odor changes are observed. The results showed that the levels of C-Organic; 51.7%, Nitrogen; 8.3%, Phosphor; 4.8%, and Potassium; 1.6%. From the results of C-Organic, Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium tests, the levels were quite high compared to the quality of SNI compost, so compost from fish waste where the Tambak Lorok Market can be used as fertilizer.

Textile dyeing on fabrics and clothing causes environmental pollution and health problems. There is an innovation of natural coloring using gambier in the Gambo Muba fabric industry and the garment industry in Indonesia. Gambier farmers supply natural dye raw materials. Then through the supply chain of the Gambo Muba fabric industry and the garment industry, it causes vertical integration in the gambier agro-industry. This study uses primary data from 39 vertically integrated companies in the gambier agro-industry, including the gambier rubber industry, the Gambo Muba fabric industry, and the garment industry. The data was then analyzed using descriptive qualitative. This study analyzes the relationship between vertically integrated industries, including the transaction costs between them, their impact of vertical integration on added value, and their profitability. Vertically integrated industries have low transaction costs. The impact of vertical integration on the gambier agro-industry adds to the chain of economic activities that can increase added value and profits. The impact of vertical integration can reduce transaction costs, especially the supplier coordination cost component, distributor cost component, inter-company lobbying costs components. The benefits of vertical integration in the gambier agro-industry are increasing high added value, profit levels, decreasing environmental pollution, and agro-industry sustainability.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to determine and quantify the most dominant types of food waste in Hungarian households and to analyse the effect of demographic background and income as influencing factors. Design/methodology/approach Data related to solid and liquid food waste were recorded from 100 households for one week. The study primarily focussed on avoidable food waste, however, unavoidable and potentially avoidable food waste were also measured. Appropriate tools and manual were provided to the households to ensure data consistency. Findings Estimated quantity of total food waste (including liquid waste) per capita is 68.04 kg/year. In all, 48.70 per cent of total food waste would have been avoidable (equals to 33.14 kg/capita/year). Most frequently wasted food categories were meals and bakery products. In case of some demographic categories, different wastage levels were observed. It was also confirmed that income has effect on food waste production that varies by foodstuff categories: bakery product waste was mainly dominant for middle income consumers and fresh fruits were typically wasted by more affluent households. Apart from that, higher income resulted in higher food waste production in general. Practical implications This primary data set about avoidable food waste in Hungary contributes with relevant information to the refining of international estimates. Having specific data on food wastage and the most affected target groups, as well as information on the impact of the income can be applied in planning awareness raising campaigns. Originality/value The research is based on measurement of food waste categories in households resulting in detailed data sets. This study is one of the first investigations based on primary data collection from the eastern part of Central Europe and the very first related to Hungary. The study draws attention also to the influence that household income exerts on the issue of food waste.

The consequence of activity in hospital is to produce toxic material waste (B3). So, description of B3 in the hospital was needed. The objective of this research was to identify the hazards in each stage in waste management of Liquid Hazardous and Toxic (B3) at Bangil Hospital, Pasuruan. Based on the place , this research was categorized as field research, because it used primary data by interviewing directly to the workforce and conducting risk assessment to the hazard source in the research location. This research was cross-sectional study. The results showed that there were 8 potential hazards, which consist of 3 hazards at the storage stage, 3 hazards at the collection stage, and each 1 hazard at the processing and disposal stage. The hazards proable experienced by laboratory personnel who also serve in the management of liquid waste and also those who operate the IPAL. While the management of B3 liquid waste radiology laboratory conducted by laboratory workers and IPS has 15 potential hazards, including 3 hazards at the storage stage, 6 hazards at the collection stage, 3 hazards at the transport stage and 3 hazards on the temporary storage.
