Waste generation in the life of people and enterprises is an inevitable process today. The level of utilization of municipal waste has increased on average to 23 % in Belarus. The paper provides an assessment of the existing systems for the collection and disposal of waste solid household items based on  technological stages (preparation of waste for loading into a garbage collection vehicle; organization of temporary storage of waste in households, at enterprises; collection and removal of waste from the territories of households, organizations and enterprises; neutralization, processing and recycling of waste). The consequences of untimely collection of solid household and industrial waste are considered in the paper. The paper presents the factors that have a harmful effect on the human environment and the ecology of the territories of settlements and enterprises. An analysis of the effectiveness of the timely removal of such components in the systems of municipal services of cities and enterprises as an important component providing social, economic and environmental significance is given in the paper. At the present stage of the development of technology and available technologies, one of the most rational and economically justified ways of delivering waste to the areas for their sorting and processing is vacuum transportation using pipeline transport. Its application is justified for industrial zones and settlements with high and medium population density. Moreover, such a pipeline can be laid next to existing pipeline and other transport communications.

AbstractIntroduction: Bisphenol A (BPA) is a substance widely used in industry for the production of polycarbonates and epoxy resins used in packaging and containers for beverages, contact lenses, compact discs (CDs), window panes, and many other elements. This compound belongs to the group of polyphenols and xenoestrogens commonly found in the human environment. What we know about BPA is still insufficient to enable us to protect our health against its adverse effects, and current knowledge of the influence of BPA on erythroblastic cell lines in bone marrow is rather fragmentary. The aim of the experiment was to assess the effect of two doses of BPA (0.05 mg/kg and 0.5 mg/kg b.w. per day) on myeloid haematopoiesis.Material and Methods: During this experiment, the number of all types of cells in the erythroblastic cell line was evaluated in porcine bone marrow before and after BPA administration. Results: The obtained results clearly indicate changes in haematopoietic activity of the bone marrow, which was demonstrated by a decrease in erythroblastic cell line production in both experimental groups. The haematological effects of the bone marrow changes were anaemia, caused by a number of erythrocytes which was depressed due to their immaturity, and a significant decrease in mean cellular volume in both groups. Conclusion: The harmful effect of high and low doses of BPA on haematopoietic processes was proved.

The author of the article outlines that at the end of the 20th and beginning of the 21st centuries, environmental problems were significantly aggravated in the world, which led to the loss of biological and landscape diversity, which significantly worsened the comfort of the human environment. The author also points out that in order to preserve and develop biological and landscape diversity, there is a need to develop and apply fundamentally new approaches of environmental design. The purpose of the study is to analyze the prerequisites and develop an ecological approach to the design of landscape architecture at the present stage. The object of research was the study of the formation and development of the principles of landscape and ecological architecture at the present stage of development. A general scientific method, based on the analysis of literary sources, systematization and generalization of theoretical and empirical data on the issue studied was applied. As a result of the study, it was found out that the basis of most modern urban land improvement and landscape gardening projects is the environmental principle, based on the restoration of ecosystems damaged as a result of anthropogenic activities. Landscaping projects carried out on the basis of the ecological design principle are aimed at preserving the natural topography and native vegetation on the territory of a particular object, its soil and hydrogeological conditions, using environmentally friendly materials and types of production, recycling and waste recycling, as well as wastewater treatment, reducing materials and labor input for the maintenance of the facility and much more.

Many popular video games sustain compelling storylines that narrativize scarce resources, promote competitive and collaborative social interaction, and foreground survival goals — all necessary skills for making sense of a changed and changing global environment. In this article, we analyze representative commercial video games in four categories: civilization simulations, post–apocalypse first–person shooters, multiplayer survivor horror games, and historical recreations. We examine the ways their game mechanics and game scenarios represent social, economic and environmental interdependencies. We contrast these representations with future scenarios of gradually increasing scarcity of resources, climate change, and other human–environment interactions which can be influenced by transitioning to sustainable practices. Because good game mechanics can cultivate imaginative visions of situational potentials and solutions to problems, a key objective of the paper is to suggest game mechanics and scenarios that simulate and model sustainable practices. This agenda includes shifting away from growth as a game goal; strategizing with depletable resources; emphasizing scavenging versus combat for resource acquisition; and, developing more complex avenues for social interaction and collaboration among players. Incorporating more sustainability science concepts into commercial video games can offer a public outlet for exploring the complex interdependencies of a changing world.

Waste generation and use is one of civilization’s main problems. Realizing the goals of the concept of sustainable development is one solution to this issue. Sustainable waste management is impossible without measurements and without assessing compliance with economic, environmental, and social criteria; therefore, quantitative information and indicators play an important role in solving these issues. Methods used to diagnose the sustainability of waste management should include both an assessment of indicators and a diagnosis of the reasons for changes. The approach proposed in this paper is based on the development of an integrated indicator which includes social, economic, and environmental factors, reflects the state of legislative and executive initiatives in the field of sustainable waste management through specific macroeconomic indicators, which should make it possible to identify the causes of sustainable/non-sustainable waste management.

Introduction. In accordance with Presidential Decree No. 204 of May 7, 2018, one of the national development goals of the Russian Federation is to improve the living conditions of citizens. The increase in the volume of standard housing construction and the introduction of advanced technologies in the design and construction will lead to the need to develop clear rules for conducting laboratory and instrumental studies of human-environment parameters when commissioning construction or renovation facilities. The emission of harmful substances in the air of closed premises, which should not have a harmful effect on humans in accordance with art. 20 of the Federal Law of 30.03.1999, No. 52-FZ proved to be one of the most significant environmental factors due to the increase in the number of new buildings and finishing materials used in construction and, as a result. Material and methods. In this paper, we analyzed the results of laboratory and instrumental studies of indoor air (enclosed) premises, selected at commissioned facilities, performed using both classical methods for the determination of pollutants, and express methods using universal gas analyzers. Results. The obtained main problems arising during the sanitary-epidemiological examination of the results are considered. Conclusion. The need to develop regulations for the amount of air research conducted in closed premises to evaluate the object as a whole, taking into account the limiting hazard indicator of the substances must be determined.

Solid wastes that are residuals of production and consumption have steadily increased in quantity in recent years. Historically, many of these residuals have been discarded into the environment which appeared to have the capacity to handle them. However, now it is widely believed that these residuals are responsible for the degradation of environment quality by increasing air, water, and land pollution. Ecological considerations have increased the complexity of handling solid wastes and have stimulated the need for alternative methods of managing various types of wastes.Local and municipal authorities and private industry provide waste collection and disposal services. Municipal services are generally financed out of taxation revenues, so it is in the public's interest to have an efficient, cost-minimizing operation at some publicly acceptable standard of quality of service.

The paper presents the ways of waste generation and ways of their rational use. The above analysis of the literature data confirmed that at present, new effective technologies based on them are being comprehensively studied and developed. Their repeated use contributes to the creation of waste-free or low-waste technologies in the urban construction system, which, in turn, is the used system for solving social, economic and environmental problems.
