Abstract Sleep paralysis is a state of consciousness experienced while waking from sleep or falling asleep. It is characterized by an experience of being unable to move for several seconds or minutes. Sleep paralysis entails a period of paralysis upon waking or falling asleep and is often accompanied by terrifying hallucinations. Many stressful environmental factors which cause emotional stress also induce sleep paralysis. In addition to stressful environmental factors being associated with the condition, there appears to be a dominant genetic factor associated with the predisposition for developing sleep paralysis. The implications of these findings for stress, anxiety, and sleep are discussed. Almost three hundred people from various age groups of Karachi city were targeted as the respondents. A multifactor questionnaire was constructed to measure the effects of sleep paralysis – independent variable, and the human psychology – dependent variable. Regression analysis was performed and proposed two models using SPSS. The results of statistical tests were concluded in a way that how sleep paralysis effects a person’s life. The final results showed the effects of sleep paralysis on one’s psychology and personal life.

This study aims to set the size ranges for male human body aged between 7 and 18, and to develop detailed body measurement criteria for each size. For that purpose, total 31 items were selected from the references of 5th SizeKorea Survey to carry out a statistical analysis, and they included 11 items for height, 15 for circumference and 15 items for length. Through the factorial analysis of those 31 items for body measurement, two dominant factors of obesity and height could be extracted as representative elements for body types. The circumference of waist was designated as the representative element for obesity factor, and the height as the representative element for height factor, and the size ranges were set to 3cm and 5cm intervals each for waste circumference and height. With two age groups of 7-12 and 13-18, the waste circumference and the height were cross-analyzed to decide high frequency sections, and based on this, the size ranges for 3D model development were decided. Lastly, detailed measurement specifications according to size ranges were developed through regression analysis. In this regression analysis, the circumference of waist was put as independent variable and the height as dependent variable. As a result, it was proved in this study that the circumference of waste was a strong element to explain obesity factor, and the height was to explain height factor in body measurement, and size specifications were developed according to different size ranges.

The independent independent variables in this study are Work Motivation, Interpersonal Communication and Organizational Culture while the dependent variable is the Performance Teachers and Employees SMPN 5 Pariaman. The sample used in this study as many as 32 respondents determined by using saturated samples. To know the influence of independent variable to dependent variable partially, used t test. While to know the effect of independent variable to dependent variable simultaneously, used F test. The assumption used in the validity test is if R-count> R-table item is declared valid. The R-arithmetic shown in the table above, from each item indicates that R-arithmetic> R-table so the item is declared valid. Based on the validity test of Work Motivation instrument, Interpersonal Communication and Organizational Culture on Teacher and Employee Performance, all items are declared valid and reliability test results indicate that the instrument has high reliability. This means that the eligibility criteria Instrument Motivation Work, Interpersonal Communication and Organizational Culture on Performance Teachers and Employees have met the criteria of good instrument requirements, namely valid and reliable. Regression analysis results obtained t count = 2.550 while t table = 2.042 so thitung> ttable and significance value is 0.000, this value is smaller than α = 0,05 so it can be said that motivation factor (X1) (Y) Regression analysis results obtained t count = 1.076 while the value of t table = 2.042 so that tcount < ttable or and its not significance value is 0.000, this value is smaller than α = 0,05, and proved variable of Interpersonal Communication (X2) (Y) Regression analysis results obtained t count = 1.715 while the value of t table = 2.042 so thitung< ttable and its not significance value is 0.000, this value is smaller than α = 0,05, and proved Organizational Culture variable (X3) The value of correlation coefficient (R) turns out that the correlation is positive. This means that there is a strong one-way relationship, where the change of increment that occurs in the free factor of Work Motivation, Personal Communication and Organizational Culture is accompanied by the change of the bound factor increase that is Teacher Performance (Y).

The independent independent variables in this study as many as 89 respondents are determined by using saturated samples. To know the influence of independent variable to dependent variable partially, used t test. While to know the effect of independent variable to dependent variable simultaneously, used F test. The assumption used in the validity test is if R-count> R-table item is declared valid. The R-arithmetic shown in the table above, from each item indicates that R-arithmetic> R- table so the item is declared valid. Based on the validity test of the instrument of Leadership Style, Work Motivation, and Competence on Employee Performance, all items are declared valid and reliability test results indicate that the instrument has high reliability. This means that the eligibility criteria of the Instrument of Leadership Style, Work Motivation, Competency and Employee Performance have met the criteria of good instrument requirements, that is valid and reliable. The result of regression analysis of Leadership Style obtained by tcount = 20,91 while ttable value = 1,988 tcount> ttable proved variable of Leadership Style influence to Employee Performance. Work Motivation regression analysis obtained tcount = 17.62 while the value ttable = 1.988 tcount> ttabel proven Motivational Work variables influence on Employee Performance. Regression analysis Competence obtained value tcount = - 06.85 while ttable =1.988 so thitung> ttable and proven variable Competence have a negative effect on Employee Performance.

Radin Inten II Airport is a national flight in Lampung Province. In this study using the technical analysis stated preference which is the approach by conveying the choice statement in the form of hypotheses to be assessed by the respondent. By using these techniques the researcher can fully control the hypothesized factors. To determine utility function for model forecasting in fulfilling request of traveler is used regression analysis with SPSS program. The analysis results obtained that the passengers of the dominant airport in the selection of modes of cost attributes than on other attributes. From the result of regression analysis, the influence of independent variable to the highest dependent variable is when the five attributes are used together with the R square value of 8.8%. The relationship between cost, time, headway, time acces and service with the selection of modes, the provision that states whether or not there is a decision. The significance of α = 0.05 with chi-square. And the result of Crame's V test average of 0.298 is around the middle, then the relationship is moderate enough.

Abstract Background/Objectives Coronary microvascular dysfunction (CMD) is a common disorder, leading to symptoms similar to obstructive coronary artery disease and bears important prognostic implications. Local inflammation is suggested to promote development of CMD. Epicardial adipose tissue (EAT) is a local visceral fat depot surrounding the heart and the coronary arteries, modifying the inflammatory environment of the heart. We compared EAT in patients with and without CMD. Methods We retrospectively included consecutive patients undergoing diagnostic coronary angiography as well as transthoracic echocardiography between March and October 2016. EAT thickness was defined as space between the epicardial wall of the myocardium and the visceral layer of the pericardium and EAT index was calculated as EAT thickness/body surface area. Logistic regression analysis was used to determine the association of EAT index with the presence of CMD. Results Overall, 399 patients (mean age 60.2 ± 14.0 years, 46% male) were included. EAT thickness was significantly higher in patients with CMD compared to patients without CMD (EAT thickness 4.4 ± 1.8 vs. 4.9 ± 2.4 mm, p = 0,048 for patients without and with CMD, respectively). In univariate regression analysis, EAT index was associated with a 30% higher frequency of CMD (odds ratio [95% confidence interval]: 1.30 [1.001–1.69], p = 0.049). Effect sizes remained stable upon adjustment for body mass index (BMI, 1.30 [1.003–1.70], p = 0.048), but were attenuated when ancillary adjusting for age and gender (1.17 [0.90–1.54, p = 0.25). The effect was more pronounced in patients >65 years of age and independent of BMI and sex (1.85 [1.14–3.00], p = 0.013). Conclusion EAT thickness is independently associated with CMD and can differentiate between patients with and without CMD especially in older age groups. Our results support the hypothesis that modulation of local inflammation by epicardial fat is involved in the development of CMD.

Statistical analysis which aims to analyze a linear relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable is known as regression analysis. To estimate parameters in a regression analysis method commonly used is the Ordinary Least Square (OLS). But the assumption is often violated in the OLS, the assumption of normality due to one outlier. As a result of the presence of outliers is parameter estimators produced by the OLS will be biased. Bootstrap Residual is a bootstrap method that is applied to the residual resampling process. The results showed that the residual bootstrap method is only able to overcome the bias on the number of outliers 5% with 99% confidence intervals. The resulting parameters estimators approach the residual bootstrap values ??OLS initial allegations were also able to show that the bootstrap is an accurate prediction tool.

Pregnant women who experience anemia and untreated until the end of pregnancy will have an effect at the time of delivery, so that it can cause post partum hemorrhage which results in death in the mother. This study aims to analyze the relationship between anemia and the incidence of post partum hemorrhage in Puskesmas Lenteng, Lenteng District, Sumenep Regency. The study design was analytic with a retrospective approach, the total population was 35 mothers, the total sample was 29 mothers, the sampling technique used random sampling. The independent variable is anemia, the dependent variable is the incidence of post partum hemorrhage. Collecting data using a checklist, data analysis using the chi square statistical test, the value of a = 0.05. The results showed that of the 29 women who gave birth, most of them experienced anemia (HB level <11 g%) during pregnancy, as many as 19 mothers gave birth (65.5%), and of the 29 mothers gave birth, most of them experienced post partum hemorrhage as much as 17 mothers gave birth (59%). The result of statistical tests using chi square with a value of a = 0.05, the resulting value (ρ) = 0.000, so that the value (ρ) <a (0.000 <0.05), which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, i.e. the relationship between anemia and the incidence of post partum hemorrhage at the Lenteng Public Health Center, Lenteng District, Sumenep Regency in 2020 In order to reduce the incidence of post partum hemorrhage, it is hoped that the mother in labor can prevent anemia during pregnancy, namely by consuming foods that contain lots of protein such as meat, liver, eggs, vegetables, folic acid (Vitamin C) and consumption of Fe tablets regularly and how to drink properly and according to conditions / needs.
