The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of family and school environment on student behavior in SMA Hang Tuah Makassar. This type of research is descriptive quantitative, which located in SMA Hang Tuah Makassar. Cluster sampling is the technique / judgmental as many as 61 students. The technique of collecting data is through observation, questioner, interview, and documentation. Analysis of data by measures such as validity, reliability, test for normality, linearity and hypothesis testing using simple linear regression formula with SPSS 17 for Windows. Based on the results of the data analysis, the significant value gained 0,000, while the r value of 0.58 means that there are square shows the influence of family and school environment on student behavior in SMA Hang Tuah Makassar by 58%. Keywords: family environment, school environment, student behavior

The effectiveness of the learning process is part of good classroom management. But be aware that every individual in the class (student) does not have a homogeneous but heterogeneous character. Implementation of classroom management will encounter various inhibiting factors. Reviews These barriers can come from teachers Themselves, from students, the family environment, and or because of the facilities. The condition of teaching and learning will be sustained while teachers during the process of concentration can maintain student learning and student behavior. Therefore, management in the class Becomes important to be Discussed, and found the solution. This research is motivated by the fact of learning outcomes and a low level of mastery students were most likely caused by low motivation to learn is possessed by students. Motivation itself is based, the environment of the school and family environment. The design of this study used a correlational research design. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between motivation and learning outcomes on the subject of math equations and linear inequalities. Instrument of data collection using questionnaires to obtain data of motivation to learn, and test methods for obtaining data learning outcomes. The data were analyzed using correlation techniques poduct moment. The population in this study were students, the students of class X APK SMK YPM 3 Taman Sidoarjo were 112 students, while the sample is taken by random sampling as much as 35% of the 40 students. The research results obtained correlation coefficient = 0.379, later than at significant level of 5% and N = 40 is 0.312 Turns greater than . It can be concluded that there is a relationship between motivation and learning outcomes on the subject of math equations and linear inequalities.   Keywords: learning motivation, learning outcomes, linear equations and inequalities

Objective: This study examines retrospective correlates of nonshared family environment prior to onset of disease, by means of multiple familial informants, among anorexia and bulimia nervosa patients. Methods: A total of 332 participants was included (anorexia nervosa, restrictive type (AN-R): n = 41 plus families); bulimic patients (anorexia nervosa, binge-purging type; bulimia nervosa: n = 59 plus families). The EATAET Lifetime Diagnostic Interview was used to establish the diagnosis; the Subjective Family Image Test was used to derive emotional connectedness (EC) and individual autonomy (IA). Results: Bulimic and AN-R patients perceived significantly lower EC prior to onset of disease compared to their healthy sisters. Bulimic patients perceived significantly lower EC prior to onset of disease compared to AN-R patients and compared to their mothers and fathers. A low family sum – sister pairs sum comparison – of EC had a significant influence on the risk of developing bulimia nervosa. Contrary to expectations, AN-R patients did not perceive significantly lower levels of IA compared to their sisters, prior to onset of disease. Findings of low IA in currently ill AN-R patients may represent a disease consequence, not a risk factor. Conclusions: Developmental child psychiatrists should direct their attention to disturbances of EC, which may be present prior to the onset of the disease.

Abstract. The current study examines the item and scalar equivalence of an abbreviated school-based universal screener that was cross-culturally translated and adapted from English into German. The instrument was designed to assess student behavior problems that impact classroom learning. Participants were 1,346 K-6 grade students from the US (n = 390, Mage = 9.23, 38.5% female) and Germany (n = 956, Mage = 8.04, 40.1% female). Measurement invariance was tested by multigroup confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) across students from the US and Germany. Results support full scalar invariance between students from the US and Germany (df = 266, χ2 = 790.141, Δχ2 = 6.9, p < .001, CFI = 0.976, ΔCFI = 0.000, RMSEA = 0.052, ΔRMSEA = −0.003) indicating that the factor structure, the factor loadings, and the item thresholds are comparable across samples. This finding implies that a full cross-cultural comparison including latent factor means and structural coefficients between the US and the German version of the abbreviated screener is possible. Therefore, the tool can be used in German schools as well as for cross-cultural research purposes between the US and Germany.
