The purpose of this paper is to help the PT. Bank Central Asia, Tbk in measuring the level of risk exposure and identify the need to control IT risk management at PT. Bank Central Asia, Tbk. Conducted research methodology, field observation, library research, interviews and gave questionnaires to the relevant parties, perform data analysis, as well as measuring the risk of using the approach of FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis). The results achieved in this study is to facilitate the management in making decisions related to the design, maintenance, and development of information technology at PT. Bank Central Asia, Tbk and also minimize the risk of the failure so that the utilization of existing information technology can provide more optimal results. The conclusion from this study is that there is a risk of potential failure that could hamper the existing business processes in PT. Bank Central Asia, Tbk. Highest risk or potential failure according to theRPN (Risk Priority Number) is a software and hardware damage, as well as the corrupted database due to the impact of operational risk.

The COVID-19 pandemic, an ongoing and fast-spreading virus outbreak caused the most recently discovered coronavirus, has changed the way the world community works, especially Indonesia. This new way of work is called remote online work or working from home. This diseases has changed people's culture by switching to digital culture using information technology. Information technology has several advantages because it can make people complete their work quickly, exibly and qualitatively. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method that aims to provide effective information about the impact of information technology on the performance of government employees during the Covid-19 pandemic. Research information was obtained through library research, observations and interviews with employees of the Environmental Service of Padang City, West Sumatra. The results of the study show that there is good impact of information technology on employee performance. Information Technology can improve employee performance because it enables the employees to work faster. This condition provides space for work collaboration, and works can be carried out far more effectively. During the Covid-19 pandemic where information technology is a vital necessity at work, all works can be done online or work from home so that employee performance can still be mantained. Since Information technology has no space and time limits, work during the COVID-19 pandemic can be accomplished anytime and anywhere.

This case is designed to explore the impact of information technology on business processes. The case starts with a description of a customer’s new technology experience at a McDonald’s restaurant. McDonald’s introduced multiple technologies in recent years as part of its strategic growth plan. The fast-food company is improving its business processes, mainly the order process, with new technologies to provide customer convenience. Such changes are critical to staying successful in the highly competitive fast-food industry. Self-order kiosks, the mobile order and pay app, and the Uber Eats app are three major technologies which have changed the order processes at McDonald’s. Students explore how these technologies change the order process and describe the impact of these technology initiatives at McDonald’s.

<p>Perkembangan <em>startup </em>berbasis teknologi informasi (TI) semakin meningkat dewasa ini. Sebagai penunjang keberhasilan bisnis perusahaan, TI memiliki risiko yang timbul di berbagai keadaan terutama di era pandemi COVID-19. Salah satu alternatif yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mengelola dan menjamin usaha yang lebih kondusif dan kredibel yaitu manajemen risiko yang tepat. Hal ini karena manejemen risiko menjadi hal yang penting pada bisnis dalam meningkatkan keuntungan dan mempertahankan kontinuitas bisnis, terutama dalam kondisi pandemi COVID-19. Pembahasan manajemen risiko TI secara umum sudah cukup banyak, namun penelitian manajemen risiko dalam menghadapi masa pandemi perlu dipertimbangkan. Hal ini dikarenakan pada masa pandemi ini, TI menjadi salah satu kunci agar bisnis dapat bertahan dan memenangkan kompetisi. Selain itu, pandemi COVID-19 termasuk dalam kasus luar biasa yang belum pernah terjadi dalam kurun waktu ratusan tahun, sehingga secara teknis risiko dari pandemi ini termasuk dalam risiko yang tidak terpikirkan sebelumnya oleh perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi kondisi implementasi manajamen dan ancaman risiko terhadap proses bisnis pada sebuah perusahaan <em>startup </em>terutama di masa pandemi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan mengacu pada COBIT® 2019 fokus domain DSS04 <em>Manage Continuity </em>dengan melakukan observasi awal terhadap kondisi perusahaan dan wawancara terhadap pemangku kepentingan perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan telah melakukan penyesuaian terhadap kebutuhan bisnis selama masa pandemi COVID-19 untuk memastikan keberlangsungan bisnis. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya belum ada pengukuran <em>risk management</em> untuk mengontrol apakah manajemen risiko yang dijalankan sudah tepat, sehingga diperlukan penerapan COBIT® 2019 dalam tata kelola bisnis perusahaan.</p><p> </p><p><em><strong>Abstract</strong></em></p><p><em>The development of information technology (IT) based startups is increasing nowadays. To support the company's business success, IT has risks arising from various circumstances, especially in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. One alternative that can be used to manage and ensure a conducive and credible business is proper risk management. This is because risk management is important for businesses in increasing profits and maintaining business continuity, especially in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic. There is a lot of discussion about IT risk management in general, but research on risk management in dealing with the pandemic needs to be considered. This is because during this pandemic, IT is one of the keys for businesses to survive and win the competition. In addition, the COVID-19 pandemic is included in an extraordinary case that has not occurred in hundreds of years, so that technically the risks from this pandemic are included in risks that were not thought of before by the company. The purpose of this study is to identify the conditions of management implementation and risk threats to business processes at a company startup, especially during the pandemic. This study uses a qualitative method with reference to COBIT® 2019 focused on the DSS04 Manage Continuity domain by conducting initial observations of the company's condition and interviews with company stakeholders. The results show that the company has made adjustments to business needs during the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure business continuity. However, in practice there is no risk management measurement to control whether the risk management is carried out properly, so it is necessary to implement COBIT® 2019 in corporate business governance.</em></p><p><em><strong><br /></strong></em></p>

Universitas Advent Indonesia is one of the many universities that use information technology to support their business processes in the hope that information technology will provide significant benefits. The use of information technology in supporting a business can not be separated from the risks that might be faced. for that, good management of information technology will be the key to how much risk will be faced. In this case, the researcher will conduct an analysis of information system risk management at the Universitas Advent Indonesia. The method used by researchers is OCTAVE ALLEGRO. OCTAVE ALLEGRO is a method that is often used to carry out analysis in the field of risk management and risk assessment. The purpose of this study was to identify risks that could potentially threaten business processes at Universitas Advent Indonesia by first identifying the impact of the area, determining the scale of priorities etc. The results of the study using OCTAVE Allegro is a risk reduction approach for each area of concern of each UNAI critical information asset namely student financial information, lecturer financial information, student score information, student transcript information, and class attendance data. UNAI makes written rules regarding responsibilities in maintaining information security and sanctions for violators and do socialize about the rule well gradually to Universitas Advent Indonesia employees. Re-evaluate information security by using OCTAVE Allegro method periodically, for example, once every 2 years.

Current trends of globalization, digitalization of the economy, the introduction of information technology objectively gradually weaken the material component (traditional factors of labor - land, capital, labor) and, conversely, highlight the importance of the intangible component of competitive positions of economic entities. The study of the evolutionary development of competition theory and establishing the impact of modern technological changes on the content and nature of competition was the basis for substantiating the key provisions of modern theory of network intellectual information information, the content of which is to form hyperconnected intellectual information business systems. introduction of digital technologies, resources, competencies and business platforms provide intensification of intersectoral innovation and production cooperation, increase the speed and volume of information and knowledge, reduce the life cycle of innovation and generally contribute to the generation of dynamic competitiveness. Achieving strategic priorities for development and ensuring the competitiveness of enterprises, taking into account the digitalization of the market of construction works and services requires taking into account the specifics of innovation. The essential and substantive characteristics of the concept of "innovative convergence" are revealed, innovative incentives, motives, interests and tools of its implementation are established, which will create conditions for production at the enterprises of the branch with the use of BIM-technologies. Theoretical and methodological approaches to modeling the information technology architecture of the organization are proposed. Theoretical and methodological approaches to determining the formal features of an innovative organization in the context of the digital economy have been developed. The influence of intellectual potential and innovation culture on the innovative development of the organization in the digital economy is determined. The factors that generate in management information and identify the conditions that promote (hinder) the implementation of innovations are systematized.

This paper will address the effects of Information Technology on the business world. Technology is increasingly playing a crucial role in the success of organizations in the information age. The impact of Information Technology on business has been enormous. Computers and the information they process and store have permeated every aspect of the business world. The fundamental role of Information Technology is to enable businesses to find new ways to drive down the costs of products, processes, and improve performance. We use examples from five different companies/industries to show the different and dramatic effects that IT can have on a business. The television industry is using high-speed Internet to send digital dailies from location to directors and producers in Hollywood. The use of this technology eliminates the old method of dubbing tapes and then sending them via FedEx back to L.A. General Motors has used aggressive outsourcing and web-based services to increase production time. Where it used to take up to four years to get a vehicle on the market, it now takes less than two. With new management and a greater focus on quality and customer satisfaction, an aircraft company has seen its $ 15 million in debt turn into $ 243 million in revenues. These increased revenues were attained by using new software to help it get better organized. AT&T, the once Titan of the phone industry, utilized IT to get out of debt. Specifically, AT&T used web-services to allow all of its different systems to communicate. By using new software to translate three different business processes into one usable code, Cybex International used IT to fix its supply-chain mess.

Information technology (IT) as a structural factor and instrument transforms the architecture of organizations, business processes, and communication which is increasingly integrated into human resource management (HRM). It is an important part of the human resources work process. IT is designed to support HR professionals at all stages of management. This paper is focused on analyzing how information technology affects the improvement of human resource efficiency. The survey was conducted in private enterprises in Ferizaj, region (Kosovo), through questionnaires. Twenty employees/managers of manufacturing enterprises were surveyed who were well informed about the role of human resources in general and the impact on the efficiency of information technology. The results of the empirical study show that the use of new information technology improves the efficiency of HR and enhances the performance of the enterprise.

The purpose of this research is to put forth a model that examines the impact of information technology (IT) related management practices upon IT effectiveness. Given the nature and use of these practices as a management activity, control theory is used as a framework to determine if IT management practices serving as controls can achieve positive outcomes. A portion of the Control Objectives for IT (COBIT) framework is used as a proxy for management practices due to the ability to ground the COBIT practices in previous literature and serve as IT controls. The results of a survey of IT and audit professionals suggest that the model put forth with IT related management practices as an independent second order factor, does indeed explain variance in perceptions of IT effectiveness as mediated through perceptions of IT value and perceptions of IT risk however only IT value is a significant predictor of IT effectiveness.
