Exploration studies in this article highlighted approaches that wearable to increase the value of gamification method to examine the impact of the role of facilitator in the idea of the group. Through the activities, the children of high school/high school were invited as respondents. This activity aimed to stimulate creativity to produce a different settlement with the same results. The presentation material and workshops that used materials of paper and stationeries. Finally, this article outlines recommendations for teaching, learning, and apply gamification in decision making. This method is one of the modern methods of teaching and learning. It starts with forming groups, job descriptions, and the active participation of the students and by comparing the characteristics of the method by the way students learn gamification, the positive effects of this method on the educational attainment of students confirmed. Based on the finding of the study the researcher recommended encouraging faculty members to use gamification strategy in teaching, conducting more studies discussing this strategy and its relation to other variables such as critical thinking, conducting more studies on other samples from different study and age levels and from different environments. Keywords: gamification method, student, creativity, university students

The purpose of this study is to investigate the perceptions of faculty members at Al al-Bayet University regarding the role of media education in building up students’ dispositions. The study further examined the impact of the variables of gender, type of college and years of experience on participants’ responses. This study used the quantitative research methodology. The study population consisted of all faculty members, 316 male and 88 female. A total of 252 faculty members completed and returned the questionnaires. The results of the study have revealed that media education plays an important role in building up the cognitive, the affective, and the behavioral components of the students’ dispositions. While no statistically significant differences were found due to gender and type of college, there were differences due to years of experience in the participants’ responses. Based on the results of the study, several recommendations were offered, including conducting seminars and workshops for faculty members, conducting more studies on media education and its impact on teaching learning process, and integrating a course in media education within the curricula of universities.

The Systems Thinking and Curriculum Innovation Network Project is a multiyear curriculum development, implementation, and research effort that examines the impact of using systems thinking and modeling on teaching and learning activities. Data reported here indicate positive effects on students' cognitive and motivational processes. The systems thinking approach also fundamentally changes the dynamics of the classroom and the role of the teacher by creating a constructivist, learner-centered environment. Implications for the design and installation of such environments are discussed.

RÉSUMÉ. Dans le cadre de la didactique des langues étrangères, cet article ayant tracé pour objectif d’étudier la place et le rôle de l’interculturel dans l’enseignement / apprentissage du FLE, présente, dans un premier temps, les résultats d’une enquête menée auprès des enseignants de FLE et des apprenants du cycle secondaire qualifiant au Maroc, et qui se résument comme suit : l’enseignement / apprentissage du FLE implique impérativement l’enseignement / apprentissage de sa culture. Ce rapport langue / culturelle exige de la part des enseignants et leurs apprenants l’adoption en classe de nouvelles approches pédagogiques qui doivent prendre en charge, en plus des dimensions linguistiques et communicatives, celles culturelles et interculturelles du FLE. Dans un second temps, il leur propose quelques pistes pédagogiques possibles pour profiter au maximum de leur contexte plurilingue et multiculturel dans l’enseignement / apprentissage de la dite langue. Mots-clés : apprentissage  - enseignement – FLE - interculturel   ABSTRACT.  In the process of foreign languages didactic, the objective of this article is to investigate the place and role of the intercultural in teaching/ learning process of FLE, to present, in the first phase, the results of a survey on FLE teachers and high school Moroccan learners as follows: The teaching/learning operation of FLE dictates the teaching and learning of its culture. The language/culture rapport urges teachers and learners to adopt the pedagogical approaches and methods to account for the linguistic and communicative dimensions, be them cultural and intercultural of FLE. In the second phase, it recommends some pedagogical implications to be implemented in their multi-lingual and multi-cultural contexts in the process of teaching/learning of the same language. Keywords : FFL - learning – intercultural - teaching

Abstract Research has shown that perceived discriminations impact physical and mental health in later life. Discrimination experiences could make older adults consider themselves as a social misfit and decrease their social interactions, which finally increases their loneliness. Religious behaviors has been reported as a key factor of a lower sense of isolation. Considering that religious behaviors provide opportunities to engage in more extensive social networks and have supportive social ties with community members, attending religious services might decrease the impact of older adults’ perceived discrimination on loneliness. The current research aims to examine the moderating role of religious services attendance in the association between older adults’ perceived discrimination and loneliness. We used data of 4,488 adults aged 50 to 80 (M=66.27, SD=10.15) from the Health and Retirement Study (HRS) collected in 2012 and 2014. Linear regression analysis was performed to investigate whether older adults’ religious service attendance might decrease the impact of their perceived discriminations in daily life on the level of loneliness. The results indicated that more perceived discriminations older adults face on a daily basis were significantly associated with higher levels of loneliness. However, participants who frequently attended religious services showed a lower impact of perceived discriminations on their loneliness. These findings highlight the positive effects of engaging in religious activities on discriminated older adults’ social well-being. These findings also emphasize the role of the religious community as a social resource for socially marginalized older adults.

Purpose The study aims to explore supply chain influence (SCI) on the linkages among market orientation, innovation capabilities and firm performance (FP), using the resource-based view as a theoretical backdrop. Design Survey data from 182 top managers who are involved in strategy formulation and innovative direction of their companies was collected and analyzed using moderated multiple regression analysis. Findings Results revealed a moderating role of the SCI in that the proactive market orientation (PMO) and FP relationship is stronger when SCI is high, and innovation commercialization capability (ICC) and FP relationship is stronger when SCI is low. Practical implications Firms pursuing high PMO strategy must collaborate with supply chain function to achieve the full effect of PMO. Additionally, as supply chain is critical to meeting customers’ needs, these firms should allow supply chain to exert greater influence to enjoy the positive effects of PMO in addition to ensuring full integration into marketing strategy implementation. Also, firms with high ICC need to limit SCI to maximize the benefit of ICC on FP, just as innovation management needs to be cognizant of other functional areas. Originality/value The study investigates the potential moderating role of SCI on the relationships among market orientation, ICC and FP. The study fills a gap in the understanding of the nature and role of supply chain in the marketing–supply chain interaction, and the impact on FP.

PurposeReligious doctrines generally encourage people to behave ethically. However, in daily life, individuals notice inconsistencies between religious beliefs and behavior, leading them to ask, in the context of commerce, why religious consumers would behave unethically. The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of consumers' intrinsic and extrinsic religiosity on their ethical behavior. Specifically, the moderating effect of ethical ideology on the relationship between Indonesian consumers' religiosity and their ethics was examined by means of a survey.Design/methodology/approachThe data derived from the questionnaire were complemented by convenience samples of Indonesians living in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) in central Java. The researchers distributed 600 questionnaires in two major shopping malls and several housing areas in the region, of which 467 were completed and returned, for an overall response rate of 77.8%.FindingsThe results indicated that the participants' intrinsic religiosity negatively impacted their ethical beliefs and was mediated by their idealistic ethical ideology. The present study also found that idealism had negative effects on three of the four dimensions of the consumer ethics scale (CES) (actively benefiting, passively benefiting and questionable behavior), while relativism had positive effects on two of the dimensions (passively benefiting and questionable behavior.Research limitations/implicationsOne limitation of the present study was that the analysis did not distinguish among the religions practiced by the respondents to the questionnaire.Originality/valueThis is one of the first few studies investigating the mediating role of ethical ideology in a religious society. This study contributes to the literature on these issues in theoretical and managerial terms by extending the Hunt-Vitell theory (1986) to the context of consumer ethics.

This study investigated the impact of emotional leadership of leaders on organizational commitment of hotel employees, as well as the mediating role of job satisfaction. The results indicate that: (1) Emotional leadership and job satisfaction have positive effects on organizational commitment. (2) Emotional leadership has a positive effect on job satisfaction. (3) Job satisfaction plays a mediating role between emotional leadership and organizational commitment.

The purpose of this research is to determine the role of self regulation in enhancing the ability of creative thinking in social studies teaching and learning. Therefore, the author conducted a survey on junior high school in South Tangerang, Banten. Students ability to organize themselves into an important key in developing the ability to think creatively. Students will know what you want to achieve so that he has a conscious effort to focus the attention and the ability to complete the task. Ability is what is required by Indonesian golden generation because they will be dealing with a very complex challenge. The golden generation should be given so that the provision could be responsible for the lives of himself and his people.

The family is one of the key factors influencing values, attitudes to work, professional self-determination and life plans of high school students. The article is devoted to the consideration of family social status role of modern high school students in formation of their competitive orientation and competitiveness.The article analyzes results of theoretical works of Russian and foreign researchers devoted to the analysis of family social capital influence to the educational strategies of adolescents. The methodological basis of the study was a questionnaire survey of high school students conducted in the cities of Tyumen, Tobolsk, Ishim and rural areas of the Tyumen region. IBM SPSS Statistics 23 was used to analyze the data.Considering family social status as the basis of young people “social start” in adulthood, authors note the dual nature of the role of this characteristic in the process of social adaptation of the younger generation. Based on the analysis of the data of questionnaire survey of high school students, the authors conclude differences of opinion on the importance of competitiveness as a necessary quality of personality.According to the results of the study it is shown that in addition to the level of family income, significant characteristics in their social status that affect the competitive orientation and competitiveness of high school students are also the level of parent’s education and their composition (full or single-parent families). It was confirmed that there is a correlation between the respondents’ assessment of personal competitive potential and the socio-professional status of the family.As possible directions for further research can be considered the study of the impact of the level of regional development on competitiveness formation process of high school students, as well as the role of teachers in this process.
