The internet has become an important part of the interactive communication of the Indonesian people. Information exchange is becoming faster with the advancement of information technology because everyone can easily access and share the information they receive. The ease of sharing information on the other hand can have a negative impact if it turns out that the information received is not clarified in advance. There needs to be an effort and awareness from internet users to prevent the spread of hoaxes on the internet, namely cyberdakwah. Cyberdakwah is an amar ma'ruf nahi munkar activity using internet media. Da'iof cyberdakwah needs to master information technology as one of the main weapons because the target of its dakwah is internet users. Da’i of cyberdakwah
also needs to understand netiquette (internet ethics) besides also having to understand the ethics of da'wahbased on Islamic teachings. This is because in exchanging information there are ethics and values that generally become a common agreement even though the rule may not be written.

Internet phenomenon is a new field of research. An internet phenomenon is an occurrence on the internet about somebody, a website, or a picture that for some reason captures the attention of numerous internet users and develops a craze that fast-spreads through the internet. The most common internet phenomenon is an internet meme, but also internet celebrities, political campaigns, or simply something out of the ordinary. Internet phenomenona have often been compared to folklore and urban legends; however there is one significant difference in that folklore was passed on in an oral culture of illiterates. The world has entered the era of digital democracy. Netizens (citizens of the internet) can deliver the facts or truths of an event through online media. On the other hand, the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has changed world order in different terms. The netizens can use parrhesia to deliver views to the world through internet. This paper studies the parrhesia democracy by netizens about COVID-19. The used questions were answered by the discourse semiotics approach. Data collection was done through distributing questionnaires online. The results revealed that the netizens’ freedom to use parrhesia concerning COVID-19 on the internet media raises ambiguous facts or information. Various myths or hoaxes that spread on social media have confused people in dealing with COVID-19. Social media with e-democracy provides free and uncontrolled opportunities in distributing opinions. However, the freedom to provide information without based on facts also results in myths or hoaxes which, later, have a universal meaning in society.

This study aimed to identify the role of Internet technology in transforming the role of its users to promoters of medical products in Jordan. The study found that there are statistically significant effects of independent variables (multipurpose and advanced Internet programs, reduced costs of the use of Internet programs, collective and interactive communication via the Internet, and Internet information abundance and variety of its resources) on the dependent factor, which is transformation of the role of Internet users to promoters of medical products in Jordan. The study recommended increasing attention on networks to promote medical products in Jordan. This is consistent with the fact that promotion via networks has become an effective way to support and enhance the image of products and its delivery to the target group in all markets around the world.
