Abstract: The National Indonesian Ministry of Education expresses the importance of educating friendliness by stating it in a Master Plan of National Character Development for 2010-2015. However the success of character education needs a meaningful classroom situation. Unfortunately, teaching materials to create meaningful classroom situation that enhances friendliness character is still  rare. Sainsmatika fairytale books are science and mathematic’s teaching material which was developed with the wisdom of fairytale, which is attractive to integrate friendliness value. The study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of sainsmatika fairytale books as a means of integrating friendliness  into teaching materials for fourth-grade students in Indonesia. A pretest-posttest control-group experimental design was used in this study to investigate the product effectiveness. This study involved 80 fourth-grade students at one of the districts in Indonesia. The experimental group was taught using sainsmatika fairytale books containing one of the character values in character education, i.e., friendliness. The quantitative data were collected through observation on student activity. The data were then analyzed using statistical methods to calculate the values and determine the frequency as well as the mean of pretest and posttest scores in both control and experimental groups. Through one way ANOVA statistical analysis, it was found that the use of sainsmatika fairytale books is significantly effective to enhance the student friendliness. Kata Kunci: fairy stories, sainsmatika, friendliness character INTEGRASI CERITA DONGENG UNTUK PEMBELAJARAN BERMAKNA Abstrak: Kementerian Pendidikan Nasional Indonesia mengekspresikan pentingnya mengajarkan karakter bersahabat dengan memasukkannya ke dalam Master Plan Pengembangan Karakter Nasional 2010-2015. Keberhasilan pendidikan karakter mebutuhkan situasi pembelajaran yang bermakna. Bahan ajar untuk menciptakan situasi pembelajaran bermakna yang dapat meningkatkan karakter bersahabat masih kurang. Buku dongeng sainsmatika adalah bahan ajar sains dan matematika yang dikembangkan dengan pendekatan kearifan dongeng yang menarik untuk diintegrasikan dengan nilai karakter bersahabat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui keefektifan buku dongeng sainsmatika sebagai bahan ajar terhadap karakter bersahabat siswa.  Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan experimental pretest-posttest control-group design. Sebanyak 80 siswa kelas 4 sekolah dasar di salah satu provinsi di Indonesia dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini. Setiap kelas eksperimen belajar menggunakan buku dongeng sainsmatika. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi dan dianalisis dengan teknik statistik anova untuk menghitung frekuensi dan rata-rata hitung pretes dan postes baik kelas eksperimen maupun kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan buku dongeng sainsmatika mampu meningkatkan karakter bersahabat siswa secara signifikan. Keywords: dongeng, sainsmatika, karakter bersahabat

This study aimed to know about the affect of reciprocal teaching model based on performance assessment againts the competence science knowledge of fourth grade students of elementary school Gugus I Gianyar district in 2017/2018. This research type is quasi experiment research with nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study is all students of class IV elementary school Gugus I Gianyar district which 440 students. Sample were taken by random sampling technique, so that the IVA class in elementary school 7 Gianyar as the experimental group and the IVB class in elementary school 6 Gianyar as the control group with the total students in each group of 30 students. The data collection was done by the test method, the type of test was the usual multiple-choice objective test. The data obtained were analyzed using t-test analysis of separated variance. The result of data analysis is tcount = 7.067> ttable = 2,000 at 5% significance and dk = 58, then H0 is rejected and Ha accepted. The average value of science knowledge competence of the experimental group X ̅ = 0,46 , while average science knowledge competence of control group X ̅ = 0,26. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the Reciprocal Teaching learning model based on performance assesment affect the knowledge competence of science students fourth grade students of elementary school Gugus I Gianyar districts year 2017/2018

<p><strong>Abstract:</strong> This study prove the influence of experiential-assisted cognition on moral reasoning. Used quantitative approach, quasi experiment type, pretest-posttest control group design. The results showed there was influence on the level of cognitive literacy based on the explosion box literature's four PIRLS rating scale on the ability to understand in both groups of trials and found moral concepts in the control group (Pillai's Trace test significance value was smaller than alpha 5%). The ex box literary product as <em>G</em><em>erakan </em><em>L</em><em>iterasi </em><em>S</em><em>ekolah</em> innovation to develop personal literate character through literacy reading which uniquely and interestingly packaged so it trains and improves the cognitive level of literacy and moral reasoning experience of fourth grade students.</p><strong>Abstrak:<em> </em></strong>Studi ini membuktikan pengaruh kognisi berbantuan pengalaman dan lingkungan terhadap penalaran moral. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis eksperimen semu <em>pretest-posttest control group design</em>. Hasil menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh level kognitif literasi berdasarkan empat skala penilaian PIRLS berbantuan <em>explosion box</em> sastra terhadap kemampuan memahami pada kedua kelompok uji coba dan menemukan konsep moral pada kelompok kontrol (nilai signifikansi uji Pillai’s Trace lebih kecil dari alpha 5%). Produk <em>ex box </em>sastra menjadi inovasi Gerakan Literasi Sekolah untuk menumbuhkembangkan pribadi literat berbudi pekerti melalui bacaan literasi yang dikemas secara unik dan menarik sehingga melatih dan meningkatkan level kognitif literasi dan pengalaman penalaran moral siswa kelas IV

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari pelaksanaan model pembelajaranberbasis budaya tudang sipulung terhadap penguasaan konsep IPA pada materi struktur dan fungsi bagiantumbuhan siswa kelas IV SD Inpres Bontomanai Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitianeksperimen menggunakan desain penelitian Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Prosedur penelitian tahappersiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan menganalisis data penguasaan konsep. Subjek dalam penelitian iniadalah murid kelas IV SD Inpres Bontomanai Makassar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa padapenguasaan konsep Pretest terdiri dari 33,33% yang memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) atauberada kategori sangat rendah. Secara klasikal belum terpenuhi karena nilai rata-rata diperoleh sebesar65,41. Sedangkan pada hasil Posttest terdiri dari 83,33% telah memenuhi KKM dan secara klasikal telahterpenuhi yaitu dengan nilai rata-rata 77,08 pada kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut,dapat disimpulkan hasil belajar murid kelas IV SD Inpres Bontomanai Makassar melalui penggunaanmodel pembelajaran berbasis budaya tudang sipulung mengalami peningkatan. This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of the culture-based learning model of scavengers onmastery of the science concept in the material structure and function of plant parts of fourth grade students of SD InpresBontomanai Makassar. This type of research is a type of experimental research using the research design Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Procedure for research preparation phase, implementation phase, and analyzing datamastery concept. The subjects in this study were fourth graders of SD Inpres Bontomanai Makassar. The resultsshowed that the mastery of the Pretest concept consisted of 33.33% who met the minimum completeness criteria(KKM) or were in a very low category. Classically it has not been fulfilled because the average value obtained is 65.41.While the results of the Posttest consisted of 83.33% had met the KKM and classically had been fulfilled with anaverage value of 77.08 in the high category. Based on the results of these studies, it can be concluded that the learningoutcomes of fourth grade students of SD Inpres Bontomanai Makassar through the use of the scavenging culture-basedlearning model have increased.

The aim of this research is to determine the significant differences of knowledge competence of science group of students which is taught by learning model of learning cycle 5E that is supported by environmental media compared with group of students that is taught by conventional learning in fourth grade students of SD Gugus Letkol Wisnu, North Denpasar District, in academic year 2017/2018. The design of this research is a quasi-experimental research with nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research is all the fourth grade students in SD Gugus Letkol Wisnu Sub District of North Denpasar, which is total 332 students that spread in 9 classes. The sample determination was done by random sampling technique. The sample in this research is the students of grade IV A SDN 1 Peguyangan with 43 students as experiment group and fourth grade students of SDN 12 Peguyangan with 41 students as control group. The data were collected by using the test method in the form of a standard multiple-choice objective test. The data obtained were analyzed using the t-test. Based on the results of data analysis obtained thitung = 4,453 while at the level of significance 5% and dk = 82 obtained ttable value = 1,989 so thitung = 4,453 > ttable = 1,989. Based on the test criteria, Ho is rejected. The average score of science knowledge competence in the group that was taught by the Learning Cycle 5E model with the help of environmental media was 81,53, while in the group taught by conventional learning was 72,82. Based on the result, it can be concluded that there is influence of Learning Cycle 5E model with the help of environmental media on science knowledge competence of fourth grade students of SD Gugus Letkol Wisnu Sub-district of North Denpasar in academic year 2017/2018 Keywords : Learning Cycle 5E, environmental, knowledge competence of science

This research aims to find out the effectiveness of local wisdom-based story calendar media in improving students’ patriotism character. The type of the research is pseudo- experimental, by using nonequivalent control group design. The population of the study is the fourth-grade students of elementary school in Ngaliyan District, Semarang, in the even semester, academic year 2019/2020. The subjects were determined by implementing cluster random sampling. The influence of the media on students’ patriotism was measured using n-gain and independent t-tests. The results showed that the n-gain of students’ patriotism in the experimental class I and experimental class II were higher than the control class, such as: 0.37, 0.39, and 0.07 with moderate category for experimental class and low category for control class. Independent t-test results also showed that the value (p) were 0.025 and 0.044 ≤ 0.05, so there are significant differences of student’s patriotism character between experimental dan control class. So, it can conclude that the local wisdom-based story calendar media is effective for improving students’ patriotism character in the fourth grade of elementary school.

This study aimed to know the effect of cooperative learning type Pair Checks towards students’ mastery social science competence on the fourth grade students at SD Gugus II Kuta Selatan in academic year 2017/2018. The type of this research was quasi-experimental especially nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study was the fourth grade students at SD Gugus II Kuta Selatan in academic year 2017/2018 which consisted of 6 SD Negeri with 11 classes which consisted of 363 students. The sample of this study was done by using random sampling technique which was randomized to determine the experimental group and control group. In result, the fourth grade students of A class at SD No. 6 Benoa was the experimental group which consisted of 30 students and the fourth grade students of B class at SD No. 2 Tanjung Benoa was the control group which consisted of 34 students. Method of collecting data that was used in this study was multiple choice test. The data were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The result of data analysis showed that tcount = 5,594 and ttable = 2,000, at 5% significant level with dk = 62. This means that tcount = 5,594 > ttable = 2,000. The mean score mastery social science competence of students who were taught by cooperative learning type Pair Checks was higher, which was, 80.83 meanwhile the mean score of students who were taught by conventional learning was 70.62. In conclusion, it could be stated that cooperative learning type Pair Checks gave effect towards students’ social science competence on the fourth grade students at SD Gugus II Kuta Selatan in academic year 2017/2018.

This study aims to determine the significant differences in the mastery of science knowledge competence group of students who are taught by the model problem based learning of audio visual media with groups of students who are taught through conventional learning in fourth grade students of SD Dewi Sartika Denpasar Clinic School Year 2016/2017. This research type is quasi experiment research with nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study is all students of grade IV SD Dewi Sartika Denpasar Elementary School, amounting to 374 students. Samples were taken by random sampling technique. The sample in this research is the fourth grader of SDN 3 Kesiman amounting to 40 students as the group which is taught by the model problem based learning assisted by Audio Visual media and the fourth grade students of SDN 17 Kesiman is 40 students as control group with conventional learning. The data were collected using a test method in the form of a standard multiple-choice objective test with four answers. The data obtained were analyzed using t-test analysis. The result of data analysis is obtained tvalue = 6,573> ttable = 2,000 for 5% significance and dk = 78. Based on testing criteria, H0 is rejected and Ha accepted. Based on the results of this study can be concluded that there is the influence of problem based learning modeled audio visual media on the mastery of science knowledge competence of fourth grade students SD Gugus Dewi Sartika Denpasar Academic Year 2016/2017

This study aimed at determining the significant effect of science knowledge competence between groups of students who are taught by using inquary learning model which assisted by animated media with groups of students who are taught through conventional learning in fourth grade students of SD Gugus Dewi Sartika academic year 2017/2018. This study was a quasi experimental research with non-equivalent control group design. The population of this study was all fourth grade students of SD Gugus Dewi Sartika which amounted to 266 students. The sample was determined by random sampling technique so that there would be fourth grade of SD Negeri 3 Pedungan as experiment group which amounted to 45 people and fouth grade B of SD Negeri 13 Pedungan as control group which amounted to 30 people. The data collection in this research was done by the test method and the instrument used in the form of ordinary double choice objective test. Data of knowledge competence was analyzed by t-test polled variance. The analysis result indicated that there was a significant effect of science knowledge competence between group of students which was taught by using inquary learning model which assisted by animated media with group of students that was taught by using conventional learning in fourth grade students of SD Gugus Dewi Sartika academic year 2017/2018. Thus, it can be concluded that Inquiry Learning Model which assisted by animated media have a significant effect on science knowledge competence of fourth grade students of SD Gugus Dewi Sartika academic year 2017/2018, and the Inquiry Learning Model which assisted by animated media can be used in studying science so as to create the kind of learning. Keywords : Inquiry, Animation , Science Knowledge Competence

This study investigating the effectiveness of using Sainsmatika story tale book towards student science anxiety. The study were an experimental research with pretest-posttest control-group design, involving 122 fourth-grade students in one of the district in Indonesia. Characteristically, this research employs quantitative data which were collected from the questionnaire results regarding science anxiety. The data were analyzed using statistical methods to calculate the values and determine the frequency as well as the mean of pretest and posttest scores in control and experimental classes. To determine the effectiveness of using fairytale books to reduce students’ science anxiety, the one-way analysis of ANOVA was used with a significant difference at the level of Sig < 0.05.  The results of this study reveal that the use of sainsmatika-based fairytale books is effective to reduce science anxiety of the fourth-grade students with significancy 0.00 (<0.05).

This research aimed to determine the effectiveness of Project Based Learning (PjBL) with the model in control class towards science learning outcomes on Elementary School fourth grade students in Cluster Ikan Lodan Semarang. The research is a quasi-experimental design with pretest posttest nonequivalen control group design. The population is all students of SDN in Cluster Ikan Lodan. Sampling technique is purposive sampling. The Data collection techniques are observation, testing and documentation. The results showed that thitung > t table is 3,22> 2,00 it means ho rejected and ha accepted. The conclusions of this study is the experimental class that implements the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model is more effective than applying the model on class control with Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) on material changes the physical environment in the fourth grade students of SDN in cluster Ikan Lodan North Semarang districts.
