This article aims to determine the adaptation of prospective elementary school teachers' scientific reasoning from a civic science perspective through seminar courses on elementary schools' educational problems. The issue of distance learning during the Corona Virus Disease (Covid) 19 pandemic in Indonesia has led to various highlights and analyzes. The learning scheme's quality and learning scheme are among the most popular questions in this learning scheme. This research uses a case study with a qualitative approach with data collection using interviews, observation, documentation, and literature studies. The results showed that the adaptation of the scientific reasoning of prospective elementary school teachers in a civic science perspective through the Seminar on Educational Problems in Primary Schools has several characteristics,  that is: 1) educational problems in primary schools captured by dominant students in technological literacy, 2) study of educational problems in schools fundamental relates to the realization of smart and good citizens that reflected in attitudes and behavior in the Covid-19 pandemic situation, and 3) there is character building in the adaptation of scientific reasoning in the civic science perspective. Therefore, the research expects to have implications in developing civic education knowledge, especially in elementary school, which aims to strengthen the study of civic education.

This study aims to apply clinical supervision to improve the ability of elementary school teachers in conducting class assessments. The method used utilizes three cycles of action research involving 23 teachers from 10 primary schools under the guidance of North Batukliang District, Central Lombok Regency. The data has been collected through the observation of the class assessment ability in each action process. The data analysis technique of this study used quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results obtained that the first cycle is below the expected completeness percentage (≤85%) which is 67.17%, while in the second cycle it also does not meet the completeness percentage which is 77.17%, and in the third cycle it is 85.86 % (Completed). The study concluded that the implementation of clinical supervision to improve the class assessment ability of elementary school teachers had a significant impact. In the future, these results can be a reference for supervisors in conducting school supervision to improve the competence of other teachers.

Reforms on inclusive education began to be carried out in Tua Pejat area, North Sipora District, Mentawai Islands by conducting training on the implementation of inclusive education by Padang State University lecturers in the context of carrying out community service for special education lecturers, followed by elementary school teachers from six elementary schools and special school teachers from two special schools in the North Sipora sub-district of the Mentawai islands. The training was conducted with a question and answer lecture method, accompanied by a demonstration simulation method and assignments on developing a learning plan (RPP) in an inclusive class, namely modified lesson plans and modified lesson plans adapted to the characteristics and learning needs of children with special needs in the classroom. The results of the training show that collaboration between elementary and high school teachers is established, both by collaborating and cooperating in serving children with special needs in primary schools, where ing to assist elementary school teachers in matters related to the identification and assessment of children with special needs in inclusive schools, as well as working together in developing lesson plans and PPI for children with special needs in inclusive classes, and learning strategies in inclusive settings.

Information literacy is a skill needed to search, analyze and utilize information. So that information literacy is a very important ability that is owned by a person, especially in the world of education, in this case elementary school teachers because at this time all people are faced with various types of information resources that are developing very rapidly, but not necessarily all the information that is available and created can be trusted and in accordance with the information needs of information seekers. Based on direct observations made by the team proposing the Community Partnership Program (PKM) in partner primary schools found data and information that the information literacy skills of elementary school teachers are still below the standards of the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL). This information literacy standard lists a number of abilities used in determining a person's ability to understandinformation. Seeing the problem of information literacy ability of partner elementary school teachers is still below the ACRL standard, the proposer team will utilize multimedia as one solution to improve information literacy skills of partner primary school teachers. The advantage of using multimedia the most prominent is interactivity which means that this media inherently forces users to interact with the material. This interaction varies from the simplest to the complex. This program will be implemented for elementary school teachers in Aceh Besar District. The objectives of this program are (1) through this mentoring activity it is believed that it can increase the repertoire of knowledge of primary school teachers regarding information literacy capacity building programs, (2) Through mentoring activities will improve elementary school teacher information literacy skills based on the standards of the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) through multimedia utilization. (3) Develop the skills of elementary school teachers in designing simple information literacy media that are easy to make and applicable to the learning presented.   Abstrak Literasi informasi merupakan suatu keterampilan yang diperlukan untuk mencari, menganalisis dan memanfaatkan informasi. Sehingga literasi informasi merupakan kemampuan yang sangat penting dimiliki seseorang terutama pada dunia pendidikan, dalam hal ini guru sekolah dasar karena pada saat ini semua orang dihadapkan dengan berbagai jenis sumber informasi yang berkembang sangat pesat, namun belum tentu semua informasi yang ada dan diciptakan tersebut dapat dipercaya dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan informasi para pencari informasi. Berdasarkan observasi secara langsung yang dilakukan oleh tim pengusul Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) pada sekolah dasar mitra ditemukan data dan informasi bahwa kemampuan literasi informasi guru sekolah dasar masih dibawah standar Association Of College and Research Libraries (ACRL). Standar literasi informasi ini berisi daftar sejumlah kemampuan yang digunakan dalam menentukan kemampuan seseorang dalam memahami informasi. Melihat permasalahan kemampuan literasi informasi guru sekolah dasar mitra masih dibawah standar ACRL tersebut, maka tim pengusul akan memanfaatkan multimedia sebagai salah satu solusi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi informasi guru sekolah dasar mitra. Keunggulan dari pemanfaatan multimedia yang paling menonjol adalah interaktivitas yang artinya media ini secara inheren memaksa pengguna untuk berinteraksi dengan materi. Interaksi ini bervariasi dari yang paling sederhana hingga yang kompleks. Program ini akan dilaksanakan pada guru sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Adapun tujuan dari program ini adalah (1) Melalui kegiatan pendampingan ini diyakni dapat menambah khasanah pengetahuan guru sekolah dasar mengenai program peningkatan kemampuan literasi informasi, (2) Melalui kegiatan pendampingan akan meningkatkan kemampuan literasi informasi guru sekolah dasar berdasarkan standar Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) melalui pemanfaatan multimedia. (3) Mengembangkan keterampilan guru sekolah dasar dalam mendesain media literasi infromasi sederhana yang mudah dibuat dan aplikatif dengan pembelajaran yang disajikan. <p><em>This research was aimed to describe the science comic design with </em><em>the environmental care theme as a learning medium for developing the literacy culture and environmental care attitude for elementary school students</em><em>. Research and Development (R &amp; D)</em><em> approach was implemented by utilizing 4D models which was limited to the Develop stage only</em><em>.</em><em> The comic media was reviewed and assessed by an expert of media, a linguist, an expert of material, and three elementary school teachers.</em><em>. </em><em>The data were collected by using observation technique and questionnaire. The results showed that the comic science media with the theme of environmental care can be used as a learning medium that can develop a culture of literacy and attitudes of environmental care in primary schools based on the contents of the curriculum standard 2013.  The quality result of the assessment from the expert and the student response indicated a good category.</em><em></em></p>

The purpose of the current study was to investigate prospective elementary school teachers’ visual mathematics literacy self-efficacy perceptions according to grade level, gender and the ability to draw geometric objects on isometric dot paper. The data were collected from 201 prospective elementary school teachers enrolled in the elementary school teaching department of a state university in the Western Black Sea Region. There were 86 freshman and 115 senior prospective elementary teachers. 149 of the participants were female and 52 of them were prospective male teachers. When the prospective teachers were classified according to their drawing skills on isometric dot paper, 42 of them were weak, 65 were intermediate and 94 were classified as good. In the current study, survey model that is one of the quantitative research methods was used and the study has a descriptive nature. The data of the study were collected by “Visual Mathematical Literacy Self-Efficacy Belief Instrument” consisting of 37 items developed by Bekdemir and Duran (2012) and “Drawing Geometric Objects on Isometric Dot Paper Scale” consisting of four items developed by the researcher. In data analysis, “mean”, “percentage”, “frequency”, “two way ANOVA” and “one way ANOVA” were used. The ability to draw geometric objects on isometric dot paper of prospective elementary school teachers analyzed into three categories as good, intermediate and weak. Prospective teachers who could draw all of the geometric objects given in the scale correctly on isometric dot paper were classified as good. Prospective teachers who could make the correct drawing of three or two geometric objects were classified as intermediate, and prospective teachers who could make the correct drawing of one geometric object or could not draw correctly any of the objects were classified as weak. As a result of data analysis, it could be said that prospective teachers saw themselves at a reasonable level regarding visual mathematics literacy. Moreover, the results revealed that there was a statistically significant difference the mean scores of prospective teachers in terms of grade level and the ability to draw geometric objects on isometric dot paper but there was not any statistically significant difference in the self-efficacy scores of prospective teachers according to gender

This community service aims (1). Providing a scientific basis for elementary school teachers in implementing learning that is oriented towards active, effective and enjoyable learning. (2). Provide theoretical clarity and a better understanding of learning, learning objects and the situations and conditions of learning in elementary schools. (3). Contribute ideas to education managers in an effort to improve teacher professional competency and learner ability in elementary schools, especially at SD Kestalan Surakarta. Community service is carried out in an effort to deliver competence in terms of Integrative Thematic Learning Intensity through Scientific Approach at Kestalan Elementary School Surakarta as a partner school in the Surakarta Teacher Training and Education Faculty, followed by 26 teachers and Principals with a 6-hour implementation period, starting at 8:00 p.m. until 15:00 p.m. The outcome of this community service is that community service resulted in the delivery of material on the Scientific approach to integrative thematic learning in Primary Schools in an effort to optimize teacher understanding and implementation in primary schools in general and SD Kestalan Surakarta in particular. The expected results from the implementation of this service can provide an understanding of the Intensity of Integrative Thematic Learning through the Scientific Approach in Primary Schools. So Kestalan Surakarta Elementary School teachers have 90 percent of the ability to Integrative Thematic Learning through the Scientific Approach in Primary Schools. So that the teachers can transmit their understanding to fellow teachers in the Dabin and Gugus areas as well as primary school teacher meetings. This research was conducted to determine the use of instructional video media in the online learning  process by elementary  school teachers in  Pagelaran  Utara  sub - district. The use of video media is the theme in this study because it has an important meaning in online learning. The covid-19 virus has an impact on teaching and learningactivities. Learning that should be done directly now can only be done indirectly or what is commonly called online learning. Then an educator is required to try to use video media as a solution in online learning. In this study, there were 58 respondents from 10 elementary schools in the North Pagelaran sub-district. The research results obtained show that 96.6% of teachers who teach in primary schools in the utata performance sub - district or around 55 teachers out of 58 have used instructional video media in the online learning process during the pandemic. It can be concluded that the video media has been used optimally.

Local script is one of the local wisdoms that must be preserved. Primary school education plays an important role in the preservation of local writing. This study aims to determine the perception of prospective elementary school teachers towards the preservation of local writing. the intended local writing is the Sasambo script in NTB. This research uses a combined method. Data collection using questionnaires and interviews. The results of the questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Interview results were analyzed qualitatively. This study involved the University of Mataram PGSD students as respondents. The problems studied include: how is the motivation of prospective teachers in preserving local writing? What do prospective teachers do in preserving local writing? What are the difficulties experienced by prospective teachers in preserving local writing? The results showed that the motivation of prospective elementary school teachers in preserving local writing was still quite high. However, prospective teachers have difficulty in preserving local writing. Difficulties faced by prospective teachers include: local writing is rarely used, low community interest in learning, lack of teachers, lack of facilities and infrastructure, lack of literature, low awareness and low literacy. Efforts to preserve local writing by prospective elementary school teachers include: studying local writing, conducting training, and holding competitions. Local writing preservation programs in NTB need attention. The attention of prospective teachers, the government and the community can save local writing from extinction

<div><p>The population of millennials who work as elementary school teachers is currently increasing because it replaces the previous generation who will retire. This generation grows surrounded by technology and educates technology savvy too. This study aims to explore the experience of millennial teacher related to the use of technology in learning in primary schools. Two research questions were proposed, namely: 1) How did millennial teacher experience their role as teacher for elementary school students? ; 2) What is the experience of millennial teacher when using technology in learning for students in elementary schools. This study uses a qualitative method with the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) approach. Semi-structured interviews with open-ended questions were conducted on 6 elementary school teacher. The analysis showed four emergent themes, namely: (1) Interpersonal experience; (2) Technology as a learning tool; (3) Barriers to integrating technology in learning; (4) Strategy to overcome obstacles. Collaborative, and collegial relationships will help the subject to make an active contribution at work. Familiarity with technology helps millennial teachers in innovating learning and interacting with students.</p></div>
