Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa setelah dilakukan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan Students Teams Achievement Divisons (STAD). Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah pre-experimental dengan bentuk One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Subjek penelitian adalah salah satu kelas dari sebuah instansi di daerah Tangerang yang teridi dari 17 siswa. Instrumen penelitian meliputi tes pemahaman matematis dan pedoman wawancara. Pokok bahasan yang menjadi bahasan dalam penelitian ini adalah materi perbandingan senilai. Data dari hasil penelitian dianalisis secara kuantitatif-deskriptif. Peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman matematis dilihat dari perhitungan N Gain dan hasil wawancara dijelaskan secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari penelitian, perolehan rata-rata kriteria N Gain adalah 0,69 (sedang). Kemudian, dari hasil wawancara secara terbuka terhadap sampel, respon siswa yang didapat cukup baik dilihat dari antusias ketika mengikuti pembelajaran maupun respon secara terbuka. Berdasarkan hasil tes terlihat adanya peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman matematis siwa setelah diterapkan pendekatan pembelajaran STAD.Kata Kunci: kemampuan pemahaman matematis, perbandingan senilai, students teams achievement division IMPROVED MATHEMATICAL UNDERSTANDING THROUGH STUDENTS TEAMS ACHIEVEMENT DIVISONS (STAD) LEARNING APPROACH AbstractThis study aimed to determine the increase in the ability of students' mathematical understanding after learning by using Students Teams Achievement Divisons (STAD) approach. This research was pre-experimental with form one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of research were one of the classes of an institution in the Tangerang area consisting of 17 students. Research instruments include mathematical comprehension test and interview guides. The subject matter of the discussion in this study was worth comparison material. Data from the study were analyzed quantitatively-descriptive. Improving the ability of understanding mathematical seen from the calculation N Gain and interviews described in descriptive. Based on data obtained from the study, the average acquisition criteria N Gain was 0.69 (medium). Then, from the interviews are open to sample student responses obtained fairly good views of enthusiastic when following the study and response publicly. Based on the results of test seen an increase in students' mathematical understanding abilities after learning approach applied STAD.Keywords: mathematical understanding ability, comparison worth, students teams achievement division.

Abstract We have developed a natural language computer program that teaches a clinical approach to disorders of blood coagulation. The purpose of the program was fourfold: to teach a specific set of facts that we considered important to an understanding of hemostasis, to simulate an actual clinical setting in which the student determines the order and content of his patient evaluation; to be adaptive to a student’s responses; and to provide for ready retrieval of student responses. The program is now constructed in two sections. The first section comprises general purpose instructions to the computer that analyze and store input and display the next portion of the lesson according to rules that are independent of the text. The second element consists of specific teaching context. This format allows ready adaptation of the program to teaching other areas of hematology. Experience with the system demonstrates that new subject matter can be easily programmed and revised, that second-year medical students like the approach, and that the subject matter can be effectively taught.

Curriculum planning often starts and ends with a specification of the subject matter knowledge students will study. This paper argues that a better way to start is by performing an educational systems design which considers knowledge needs along with the need to clarify values and make effective decisions. One result of this design work is the new teaching-learning approach called Guided Design which has already been applied to a variety of disciplines.

This research is based on the poor ability of students to understand Arabic texts and the lack of interest in reading that is owned by students. So, the students have difficulty in understanding Arabic lessons. The problem in this research is "Is the Al-Qiroah method able to improve reading comprehension in Arabic languageand how to increase the use of the Al-Qira'ah method in reading comprehension in Arabic class lessons VII A HafshohDarul Fattah Qur'an Middle School? " while the purpose of this research was to determine the effect of the Al-Qira’ah method on reading comprehension in Arabic class VII A Hafshoh Middle School Qur'an Darul Fattah and to describe the increased use of the Al-Qira’ahmethod in reading comprehension in Arabic class VII A Hafshoh Middle School Qur'an Darul Fattah. The type of research that researchers use is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subject of this research is class VII AHafshoh Middle School Qur'an Darul Fattah amounting to 27 students. This research was conducted in two cycles and each cycle has four learning meetings. In this research, the average value of the students reading comprehension test in the pretest was 60.72, in the first cycle was 66.60 and in the second cycle was 82.02, with the difference in the increase in the pretest to the first cycle increasing by 5.88 points or equivalent to 9.68%. Meanwhile the first cycle to the second cycle increased by 15.42 points or equivalent to 23.15%. It can be concluded that learning by using the Al-Qiro’ah method can improve reading comprehension in Arabic class VII A Hafshoh students at Darul Fattah Qur'an Middle School.

This research aimed to analyze the student teams achievement divisions (STAD) technique of cooperative learning approach to improve writing narrative text. This study was a quantitative method and pre-experimental design in this research,the subject of the study was implemented in RPL 1 class tenth grade students of SMK Mahardhika Batujajar west Bandung in the 2018- 2019 academic years as sample. The data were obtained from several sources including the data analysis of pretestand posttest, then the dataanalysis of descriptive statistics and N-Gain. The results of this reserach that student teams achievement division(STAD) technique is effective in teaching writing narrative text data from classroom observation and students texts show the improvement in students writing skill in writing narrative text. The students write a good narrative text with clear generic structures and can understood the linguistic. It could be seen from the average of posttest results was 78.87 and the data avarege of pretest results in class research was 41.17 the difference score pretest and postest showed the STAD technique can improve students ability writing narrative text.Key Words: Cooperative Learning, STAD, Writing, Narrative text.

Learning is a way for someone to gain knowledge through experience, remembering, and getting information / finding. Teaching through providing experience in finding his own knowledge, it is hoped that these lessons will be meaningful for students. This study aims to find out about the application of inquiry learning models, improve student learning achievement through inquiry models, student responses to the application of inquiry learning models in science subjects the subject matter of life cycle in class V MI Sunan Kalijogo Wolutengah Kerek District, Tuban lesson year 2017/2018. This research is a type of Classroom Action Research (Action Classroom Research). The data in this study are data on increasing the learning achievement of science subjects in the life cycle with inquiry learning models. Data analysis was carried out by observing student activities, questionnaires to determine student responses that were calculated in the form of percentages, and data from student evaluation results. From the implementation of this study the results were obtained (1) that the application of inquiry learning models in science learning the subject matter of the life cycle of living things can improve student learning achievement. The increase can be seen from the learning outcomes achieved by students in the first cycle and second cycle which are significant. (2) student learning achievement has increased after the implementation of inquiry learning models. After the application of the inquiry learning model in the first cycle the average value of students was 62.63, in the second cycle it increased to 81.84. Increased activity of students in observation or group discussion, in the first cycle 52.63%, in the second cycle to 84.21%. The accuracy of completing the chart or table of observation in the first cycle is 57.89%, in the second cycle becomes 84.21%. The activity at presentation in the first cycle was 15.79%, increasing in the second cycle to 57.89%. The intensity of play alone decreased from 31.58% to 15.79% in cycle II. (3) Positive student responses, indicated by 17 students (89.47%) liked the application of the inquiry learning model, and 2 students (10.53%) did not like because they felt left behind from their friends. The results of this class action research can be categorized as successful in its implementation. The conclusions from the results of this study that the application of inquiry learning models in science subjects the subject matter of the life cycle in class V MI Sunan Kalijogo Wolutengah Kerek District, Tuban Regency 2017/2018 school year can improve student learning achievement.

This paper aims to find out the similarities and differences contained in the KTSP and the 2013 curriculum Arabic subjects Madrasah Aliyah from the aspect of goals, materials, and methods. As well as knowing the advantages and disadvantages of both curriculum. Types of research this is library research with a qualitative approach. Analysis of the data uses content analysis. Based on analysis concluded that in the KTSP and the 2013 Arabic Curriculum for Madrasah Aliyah, it has many similarities in aspects of purpose, material or method. It's just that the 2013 curriculum tries to complement its deficiencies in KTSP as in the subject matter, the 2013 curriculum is more detailed in describing the scope of the material in the form of KI and KD, besides that the 2013 curriculum does not only emphasize cognitive aspects only, but cognitive, psychomotor and affective aspects balanced and integrated into all subjects. Addition to that, if in the KTSP the learning approach used varies, then the 2013 curriculum uses a scientific approach.

The aims of this study are to find out the view of the validator on learning Sparkol media, to find out the students’ views on learning the Sparkol media, to know the effectiveness of learning by using Sparkol learning media. This research and development used the ADDIE research model. Media development based on Sparkol Videoscribe using Research and Development with Addie model which has 5 stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Student responses to the feasibility of learning media with Sparkol show that this media is feasible and attractive to students. The effectiveness of learning using Sparkol Videoscribe-based mathematics learning media was tested in the range , this result shows that the category is quite effective.

Two-stage exams consist of a traditionalpencil-and-paper examination written in class byindividual students, followed immediately by a secondsitting in which the students retake the same exam inteams (i.e. a collaborative test). The team test providesan immediate opportunity for students to discuss, debate,teach, and receive feedback on the subject matter. Itdraws on principles of goal-directed practice, timelytargeted feedback, and collaborative learning.The practice of two-stage testing is a defining featureof the Team-Based Learning approach, and is used forintroductory reading quizzes that begin each coursemodule. These have been part of the instructionalapproach in Mechanical Engineering at the University ofBritish Columbia for over a decade. In 2014, we haveextended two-stage testing to include midterm and finalexaminations. To accommodate the team portion, examswere shortened by approximately one third and questionswere reformatted to be easier to complete in teams.Students report a strong preference this approach(72% in favour) and report a resulting improvement intheir understanding of the course material (75%). Examperformance gains have also been observed. In almost allcases, teams outperform their strongest member, and it isnot uncommon that the weakest team outperforms thestrongest individual in the class. As an added benefit, therevised question structure that makes it easier for studentsto collaborate on exam writing has also simplified andexpedited the marking process.

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi karena siswa masih menggunakan bahasa sehari-hari atau bahasa ibu dalam pembelajaran berbicara, khususnya pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia, seperti penguasaan kosakata yang masih kurang, sulit mengungkapkan gagasan dalam bahasa lisan. Adapun penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berbicara siswa sekolah dasar. Model pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah model kooperatif tipe picture and picture. Model kooperatif tipe picture and picture berupa model pembelajaran dengan penggunaan media gambar yang disusun secara acak oleh guru kemudian guru memberi kesempatan kepada siswa untuk menyusun gambar beserta alasan urutan yang disusun oleh siswa. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perubahan yang baik dan mengalami peningkatan setiap siklusnya. Dari dua tindakan yang dilakukan, hasil tes kemampuan berbicara siswa pada siklus I dan siklus II mengaalami peningkatan. Begitu juga dengan aktivitas siswa, hasil penelitian selama dua siklus menunjukkanpeningkatan. Abstract: This research is motivated by low mathematical understanding of students on the subject of wake up space. The research was conducted in class IVA at one of SDN Ciseureuh, Purwakarta district. There were 25 students involved in the study. The approach used is realistic mathematics by using the media in the form of objects that have been often the students meet everyday. The type of research used is PTK with the aim to know the activity and improvement of students' mathematical understanding after the application of realistic mathematical approach. The result of research indicate that realistic mathematics learning approach can improve mathematical understanding of IVA class student, besides it can also increase student activity. Increased understanding of students in the cycle I 64% and 88% cycle II. The percentage ofmathematical understanding ofeach indicatorinthefirst cycle asmuch as 48.8% of students in the category understood entirely then in cycle II increased to 62.4%. Based on the observation, student activity is increasing. Learning media is important for the continuity of learning activities so that these activities jave variations that make students not bored. One of them is with android-based learing media. The android-based learning media is form of alignment in the field of education with advances in the field of technologu. This study aims to produce android-based learning media as a form of learning variation in exposition texts. In addition, this study also aims to see student responses to android-based learning applications. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method with interview techniques. The object of this research is an application that is organized according to the subject matter and also a review of this android-based learning application. The results of this study indicate that this android-based learning media application has good feasibility to be used as a variation of new learning media in Indonesian lessons.Keywords: Media, learning, android, text, exposition
