This study explores the socio-cultural perception of death among Turkish people. For this reason, 210 published lament epics written by Turkish folk singers across all of Turkey concerning deaths between 1955 and 1975 were selected for analysis. These epics were published on single pages and were sold. The statistical analysis based on detailed content analysis was done at the univariate, bivariate, and multivariate levels. The results of the study provide a full picture of perception of cases of death in Turkish society. These results show Turkish society is especially sensitive to cases of death at young age and to the murdered. Further, a clear perception of the working of fate is encountered in deaths resulting from disaster and accidents; but the desire for vengeance is recorded in those laments concerning martyrs and the murdered. The statistical data show that most commonly cited reasons for death after road accidents, were a consequence of relationships with the opposite sex and from a sense of honor.

A procedure for Rietveld quantitative amorphous content analysis (RQACA) is outlined, in which the effects of systematic errors in the powder patterns are studied. The method derives the amorphous content from the small overestimation of an internal crystalline standard in a Rietveld refinement of an appropriate mixture. Of several standards studied, Al2O3gave the best results. The statistical analysis of standard mixtures with a known amount of amorphous content indicated that this is a precise and accurate tool. It enables the measurement of the amorphous content with an accuracy close to 1%. Sample preparation and Rietveld analysis need to be optimized in order to minimize the systematic errors. The analysis of samples with phases displaying strong preferred orientation effects gives very high errors in the amorphous content. Samples with different absorption coefficients have also been studied in order to evaluate the importance of microabsorption. This plays an important role but it can be adequately corrected if the absorption coefficients of the standard and the sample are not very different. RQACA has been applied to tricalcium silicate, C3S, which is the main component of Portland cement. The average amorphous content of C3S, after microabsorption correction using two standards of higher and lower absorption coefficients, was found to be 19%.

This study aimed to determine the structure and function of healing and charm spells in Makarti Jaya village, Banyuasin District. This research used a qualitative descriptive method. The source of the data was 22 healing and charm spells which are taken from three informants. The data analysis used was content analysis. The results of this study indicated that not all spells mention a name component because some spells do not have a name element but still do not reduce the magical value of the spell, for a name is not a measure of whether the spell is effective. In the component of the opening greeting, The suggestions received in the analyzed spell are aimed at making the spell look pleasing. In the objective component, all spells have the same goal, which is to captivate the opposite sex. Whereas the closing element of all spells uses words from Arabic such as laillahailallah muhamadarasulullah. From the analysis of the seven healing spells and fifteen charm spells, it showed that the spell has a different structure and function according to the verse contained in the spell.

The article focuses on content analysis of corruption-related publications released by Lithuanian Internet media. The authors present findings from structural and semantic analysis of the online publications on corruption issues that appeared during 2015 via two influential Internet portals: DELFI.lt and Lrytas.lt. These findings are interpreted in the context of official statistical data surrounding anti-corruption activity in the country and in light of results from corruption‑related diagnostic surveys. The analysis reveals a tendency toward ‘virtual criminalisation’ of corruption in the Internet-media publications examined and, a result of such a criminal-justice framing, an absence of focus on preventive and education‑oriented anti-corruption measures.

According to the Serbian Family Act marriage is cohabitation between two persons of the opposite sex governed by the law. The same act, prescribes substantial and formal requirements for valid marriage. This paper aims to present a review of these requirements in domestic and comparative law as well. It analyzes each condition separately, giving an overview of their historical development and the way they are regulated today in different legal systems. According to domestic law, substantial requirements are the following: opposite gender, expression of will to get married, cohabitation and lack of marriage impediments. However, there is a tendency in the contemporary family law to reduce marriage impediments, which leads to the liberalization and facilitation of marriage formation. Since marriage is very often concluded in religious form, article also gives an overview of the ecclesiastical rules concerning marriage. Finally, it analyzes and compares statistical data concerning number of concluded marriages and divorces in Serbia thirty years ago and in present time.

Monitoring high throughput distributed system by using a statistical analysis of the “historical time series” of an Instrumentation Data”. “The Pipeline has been made to process the information which can be otherwise called data pipeline, is a lot of information handling components associated in arrangement, where yield of one component is the contribution of the next one”. Several codes are giving different visualization for statistical analysis of data. “Network and Cloud Data Centers” generate a lot of data every second; this data can be gathered as period arrangement information. A timeseries is a grouping taken at progressive similarly dispersed focuses in time that implies at a particular time interval to a particular time, the estimations of explicit information that was taken is known as information of a time-series. “This time-series information can be gathered utilizing framework measurements like CPU, Memory, and Disk utilization”. The TICK and ELK Stack is abbreviation for a foundation of open source instruments worked “to make collection, storage, graphing, and alerting” on time arrangement data incredibly easy. As an information collector, using Telegraf, “for storing and analyzing” information and the time-series database InfluxDB and Elasticsearch. For plotting and visualizing used Grafana and Kibana. Watchman is utilized for alert refinement and once system metrics usage exceeds the specified threshold, the alert is generated and sends it to the Telegram.

Under the conditions of the pandemic, the issue of support for small and medium-sized enterprises becomes especially relevant, since they are the ones that suffer financial losses more than other enterprises in the period of restrictions and reduction of the purchasing power of citizens. Most often tax measures of support and direct payments from the state are considered, in our article we will talk about property measures that have a significant impact on the stabilization and development for existing entities and sustainable formation for start-up entrepreneurs. The article uses both statistical analysis, including within the boundaries of the federal district, and sociological research that complements and specifies statistical data. As a result, the main problems of providing measures of property support were identified, which will allow the authorities and development institutions to adjust their policies and instruments.

Abstract Motivation The forskolin-induced swelling (FIS) assay has become the preferential assay to predict the efficacy of approved and investigational CFTR-modulating drugs for individuals with cystic fibrosis (CF). Currently, no standardized quantification method of FIS data exists thereby hampering inter-laboratory reproducibility. Results We developed a complete open-source workflow for standardized high-content analysis of CFTR function measurements in intestinal organoids using raw microscopy images as input. The workflow includes tools for (i) file and metadata handling; (ii) image quantification and (iii) statistical analysis. Our workflow reproduced results generated by published proprietary analysis protocols and enables standardized CFTR function measurements in CF organoids. Availability All workflow components are open-source and freely available: the htmrenamer R package for file handling https://github.com/hmbotelho/htmrenamer; CellProfiler and ImageJ analysis scripts/pipelines https://github.com/hmbotelho/FIS_image_analysis; the Organoid Analyst application for statistical analysis https://github.com/hmbotelho/organoid_analyst; detailed usage instructions and a demonstration dataset https://github.com/hmbotelho/FIS_analysis. Distributed under GPL v3.0.
