Rapid Application Development (RAD) is a methodology used to develop software. This method is able to reduce time to develop software. This becomes consideration in order to choose the Rapid Application Development as a methodology to develop Dutatani Website. Dutatani is a portal and a part of Integrated Agriculture Information System (IAIS). IAIS is an agriculture information system that has some subsystems that are connected and linked to each other. It also has an integrated database. In particular, Dutatani is able to manage user, manage content, and manage link in the IAIS. This website will be a link to other applications in the IAIS. This article especially discusses the development of the Dutatani Website using Rapid Application Development that is implemented by combining iterative development and system prototyping. There are some phases in the development using the RAD: planning, analysis, main design specific design, implementation and testing, and integrating prototype. This system was developed by a team which consists five members. The implementation of this prototyping technique was done by dividing five people into two groups in which each group had different responsibilities to different module/functions. This website had been developed within 150 days. Thus, in implementing the RAD, it is important for the team leader to monitor continuously. Monitoring is a useful technique to ensure the productivity and performance of each members in order to gain optimal development process.

In order to improve institutional capabilities, UKSW needs to collaborate with various parties. Documents of agreement which is the references of implementation must be archived and managed properly. The document of agreement in UKSW, still manage manually, making it difficult to find complete data related to the cooperation agreement that has been made by UKSW.  Information technology has an important role in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the document management and archiving. This study aims to develop a cooperation information system that capable to record the whole process of submitting agreement, until the process of archiving the signed document. Rapid Application Development (RAD) method used with the aim of accelerating development process, providing good quality of system, and reducing development and maintenance costs. The result of this research is a cooperation information system that has been implemented at UKSW Salatiga.

Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) Cinta Bahari dibentuk oleh aparat Desa Pulau Pahawang Lampung sejak tahun 2013.  Akan tetapi rendahnya tingkat pendidikan anggota Pokdarwis membuat mereka sangat sulit untuk dapat mengembangkan potensi wisata pulau Pahawang. Pada tahun 2017, promosi wisata sudah dilakukan menggunakan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) dalam bentuk mobile application CintaBahari yang dikembangkan pada kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) sebelumnya. Namun demikian masalah promosi ini masih harus terus ditingkatkan dan berkelanjutan, sehingga jumlah kunjungan wisatawan yang diperoleh dapat lebih maksimal. Solusi yang ditawarkan oleh Tim PKM ini adalah mengembangkan media promosi dengan menggunakan teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) yang menggambarkan objek wisata Pahawang secara real yang dikemas secara menarik dan atraktif. Teknologi AR dapat menggabungkan benda maya dua dimensi atau tiga dimensi ke dalam sebuah lingkungan nyata tiga dimensi lalu memproyeksikan benda-benda maya tersebut dalam waktu nyata. Selain itu, Tim PKM ini juga memberikan sosialisasi tentang penggunaan aplikasi AR tersebut dan pembagian poster dengan konten AR kepada masyarakat sebagai sarana mereka memberikan promosi kepada wisatawan yang datang. Metoda  yang  digunakan  dalam  pembangunan aplikasi menggunakan metode iterative development  yang disebut dengan Rapid Application Development (RAD) dengan tahapan : identifikasi masalah dan motivasi, menetapkan objek solusi, penerapan solusi dan pelatihan serta pelaporan hasil dan publikasi. Adanya aplikasi AR ini diharapkan dapat membuat peningkatan potensi wisatawan yang datang dan kembali datang lagi ke Pulau Pahawang melalui ketersediaan informasi yang lengkap dan menarik dalam bentuk AR. Sehingga secara langsung akan berdampak pada peningkatan pendapatan pokdarwis dan masyarakat Desa Pulau Pahawang pada umumnya.     Kata kunci: Augmented Reality, Cinta Bahari, Pokdarwis, Pahawang, Promosi

Nowadays, the application of information systems can be applied in many fields, one of which is to support the process of adopting dog as a pet. The purpose of this research therefore is to develop an integrated information system that can be used to facilitate the process of adopting dogs. The developed information system which is web-based has several main functions, such as searching for dogs, managing adoption requests, monitoring dogs that have been adopted, and periodically managing user reports. The proposed system was developed using Rapid Application Development method, PHP programming language, Code Igniter frameworks, and MySQL database. Meanwhile, the system was tested using the black box testing method.

The purpose of the research is to; 1) Generating a customer information system on Telkomsel GraPARI Banda Aceh, 2) To find out the application of the information system that has been built, and 3) Apply the system that was built using Visual Basic. This research was conducted at Telkomsel GraPARI Banda Aceh and conducted for 9 (nine) months of 2015-2016. The method used for system development, researchers use the methodology Rapid application development (RAD) and Data Flow Diagrams (DAD). This research has succeeded and completed the design of information systems for recording customer data at Telkomsel Grapari Banda Aceh, the application was built using the stages of the Rapid application development (RAD) model. The application was built using Visual BASIC and as a database using Microsoft Office Access. The application of the information system that has been built is still in the prototype and there is still a need for study and development of current technologies such as the use of mobile and cloud databases involving interconnection to make it easier for GraPARI units to connect.Keywords:Information Systems, Customer Data, Telkomsel

Abstract   Depok city, West Java, Indonesia is located in the south of Jakarta, between Jakarta and Bogor. This city has 2.1 million people in 2016 with a high mobility society characteristic. Therefore, they need adequate transportation mode for supporting their activities. The availability of information for public transportation route is a mandatory requirement for Depok city. The use of Internet technology for the implementation of geographic information system is expected to contribute to the success factor of public transportation service. In this study, the proposed system utilized Google Maps in processing and visualizing the public transport route map. The system is designed using Rapid Application Development software development that suitable for faster system development. With this information system, the community is expected to be easier to get information about public transport in Depok city. In addition, the purposed system could give the benefits, i.e. increasing the use of public transport, decreasing the use of private vehicle in people daily activities, and reducing the traffic jams in the city. Hal tersebut menjadikan masyarakat kota Depok sangat membutuhkan moda transportasi yang memadai untuk menjalankan segala aktifitasnya. Kemudahan informasi mengenai rute rute transportasi umum juga menjadi sebuah kebutuhan wajib bagi masyarakat kota Depok. Pemanfaatan teknologi internet untuk membangun sebuah sistem informasi geografis diharapkan dapat berkontribusi memberikan kemudahan bagi masyarakat dalam mendapatkan rute angkutan umum. Sistem ini memanfaatkan Google Maps dalam mengolah dan memvisualisasikan peta rute angkutan umum. Sistem dirancang dengan menggunakan metode pengembangan perangkat lunak Rapid Application Development, dengan harapan sistem lebih cepat diimplementasikan. Dengan adanya sistem informasi ini, diharapkan masyarakat lebih mudah mendapatkan informasi mengenai rute angkutan umum di kota Depok. Selain itu tujuan penelitian ini dapat berdampak peningkatan penggunaan transportasi umum oleh masyarakat dibandingkan penggunaan kendaraan pribadi saat melakukan aktifitas harian yang secara tidak langsung dapat mengurangi angka kemacetan di kota Depok. Rumah Kost Hj. Gaby is one of the many boarding houses for rent around industrial areas and offices in the Tg. Priok area, North Jakarta. This boarding house still uses a board in front of the house to indicate that the house is rented out for boarding. This method is less effective in promoting the boarding house because prospective tenants must accidentally pass and see the promotion board. The down payment for boarding and monthly rent still has to meet directly with the owner of the boarding house so that it requires special time. The boarding rental information system that is designed is expected to help prospective tenants or tenants to make more practical order and payment transactions, in addition to helping boarding owners tidy up their boarding room rental management The methods used in this research are: interviews, observation, and literacy studies for data collection. Meanwhile, the model used for software development uses the Rapid Application Development Model (RAD). The results of this study are expected to assist boarding owners in promoting their boarding houses and also provide a more effective way of conducting transactions related to the boarding houses.

<p class="Abstract">Proses pengembangan aplikasi merupakan salah satu kondisi yang sangat penting agar mendapatkan aplikasi yang baik. Untuk mengembangan aplikasi terdapat berbagai metode pengembangan yang dapat digunakan. Salah satu metode tersebut yaitu rapid application development (RAD). Metode RAD merupakan metode pengembangan yang melibatkan pengguna atau client. Untuk itu di dalam penelitian ini dilakukan implementasi metode RAD dalam proses pengembagnan aplikasi pelaporan kerusakan jalan. Dimana kebutuhan dari aplikasi ini untuk menjawab permsalahan dalam proses pengaduan kerusakan jalan yang selama ini memiliki mekanisme birokrasi yang panjang. Dengan dibuatnya aplikasi diharapkan mampu menjadi salah satu alternative bagi masyarakat untuk menyampaikan laporan dengan cepat, tepat dan akurat. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa aplikasi pelaporan yang dibuat dengan dua antarmuka yaitu mobile yang diperuntukkan bagi masyarakat dan web yang diperuntukkan bagi pemerintah. selain itu juga aplikasi yang dihasilkan telah dikembangkan secara terstruktur mengikuti proses dari metode RAD mulai dari perencanaan, desain RAD dan implementasi. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa proses pelaporan kerusakan jalan dapat dilakukan yang dibuktikan dengan akses pengguna masyarakat dapat melakukan laporan dan akses admin dapat menindak lanjuti laporan tersebut.  </p><p class="Abstract"> </p>The application development process is one of the most important conditions in order to get a good application. To develop applications, there are various development methods that can be used. One such method is the rapid application development (RAD). The RAD method is a development method that involves users or clients. For this reason, in this study, the implementation of the RAD method is carried out in the process of developing a road damage reporting application. Where is the need for this application to answer problems in the process of complaints about road damage which so far has a long bureaucratic mechanism. By making the application, it is hoped that it can become an alternative for the public to submit reports quickly, precisely and accurately. The results of this study are in the form of a reporting application made with two interfaces, namely a mobile which is intended for the public and a web which is intended for the government. Besides that, the resulting application has been developed in a structured manner following the process of the RAD method starting from planning, RAD design and implementation. The implementation results show that the road damage reporting process can be carried out as evidenced by the access of community users who can make reports and admin access can follow up on the report.

Abstrak - Perkembangan UKM (Usaha Kecil Menengah) yang ada di Sulawesi Utara sangat diharapkan keberadaannya dalam menciptakan dan memproduksi hasil karya suatu daerah melalui teknologi informasi. Oleh karena itu, potensi dari UKM yang ada di Sulawesi Utara diharapkan dapat bersaing dengan produk luar dalam mempromosikan produk lokal dalam negeri. Sistem informasi produk unggulan daerah usaha kecil menengah berbasis website dapat difungsikan untuk mengakses berbagai produk unggulan dengan bermacam kategori yang disediakan agar membantu anggota UKM dan masyarakat dalam mencari dan mempromosikan produk unggulan daerah. Metode rancang bangun sistem informasi produk unggulan daerah usaha kecil menengah adalah rapid application development (RAD) yang tujuan utamanya memenuhi harapan dari pengguna dengan waktu yang relatif singkat dan menghasilkan kualitas sistem yang lebih baik, sedangkan objek penelitiannya dilaksanakan di Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Provinsi Sulawesi Utara.  Kata Kunci : UKM, sistem informasi, media promosi, produk unggulan daerah, website, rapid application development. Abstract - The development of SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) in North Sulawesi is expected to exist in creating and producing the work of an area through information technology. With the establishment of a superior product information system in the area of website-based small and medium enterprises, it can be used to access a variety of superior products with various categories provided to help SME members and the public in finding and promoting regional superior products. Abstrak: Dalam pengadaan barang atau jasa pada Inspektorat DKI Jakarta dilakukan pada sistem E-Katalog, namun sistem tersebut tidak mengakomodir keseluruhan prosesnya. Selain itu, pembuatan dokumen pendukung masih dibuat secara manual menggunakan Microsoft Office sehingga dinilai tidak efektif, efisien dan berkasnya menjadi rentan hilang. Serta kesulitan dalam pembuatan laporan pengadaannya dikarenakan berkas hilang dan berkas yang disimpan tidak tersentralisasi. Metode yang dipakai dalam mengembangkan dengan Rapid Application Development (RAD). Sistem informasi pengadaan menghasilkan dokumen pengadaan lebih terstruktur dan instan dalam mengolah hasil pengadaan dalam bentuk laporan. Hasil pengembangan ini menciptakan alur kerja yang lebih tertib dan terdokumentasi dengan baik, serta memberikan pengamanan terhadap data pengadaan. Dengan adanya sistem informasi ini, proses pengadaan barang dan jasa pada Inspektorat Provinsi DKI Jakarta menjadi lebih tertib.   Kata kunci: DKI Jakarta, e-katalog, pengadaan, RAD, web.   Abstract: In procuring goods or services at the DKI Jakarta Inspectorate, the E-Catalog system is carried out, but the system does not accommodate the entire process. In addition, supporting documents are still created manually using Microsoft Office, so they are considered ineffective, efficient and the files are vulnerable to loss. As well as difficulties in making procurement reports because the files are lost and the files that are stored are not centralized. The method used in developing with Rapid Application Development (RAD). Procurement information systems produce more structured and instant procurement documents in processing procurement results in the form of reports. The results of this development create a more orderly and well-documented workflow and provide security for procurement data.
